Aubree never saw it coming, and why would she? There weren't very many people she despised but Draco had always been one of the few minor exceptions. Needless to say, being paired up with him in potions was practically the end of the world, though that was something that eventually changed. Soon enough, not being able to see him, for obvious reasons, throughout the summer holidays nearly seemed like it wss the end of the world. A complete three-sixty quite clearly, but it was the honest truth, and she was looking forward to seeing him that day.
She was planning on sneaking away from Harry, Ron and Hermione while they all did their fall term shopping in Diagon Alley at some point to see him. Over the course of the summer, she and Draco had been writing to each other in secret. Meeting up today had been planned practically at the start of the summer holidays. One might even argue it had been planned at the end of the spring term, before the holidays even started. It didn't really matter when things had been arranged though. Today was the day. She'd finally be seeing him again after two months of speaking through letters, and Aubree couldn't wait.
For some students, the start of a new school year caused dread to sink in. That had never been the case for Fred though. Where else would he and George try out their latest pranks they'd drawn up, or, more recently, test out one of their new products? Of course, in a way, this year was different. It was the last one, which, arguably enough, almost made it a bit bittersweet in a way. He was still looking forward to it onviously, and though he wouldn't admit it, the idea of being finished with Hogwarts in a few months time was kind of anxiety inducing. He'd have George though, and, of course, one couldn't forget Charlie either. She was his best friend, and he knew that she'd always be there for him and that he could rely on her no matter what. He knew she'd remain a constant in his life. She had since her first year, and while he'd be leaving her behind this year, he knew he'd still have her around.
