Aubree smiled. "I think that could be arranged." She said. She liked his suggestion a lot, and she honestly didn't want to go without seeing him their first night there either. Sure, they'd managed to meet up today, but that didn't mean she didn't want to see him the following night as well. She honestly would take whatever opportunity she could to get to spend time with him. Not to mention, it was rather hard seeing him around the school and not really being able to do anything about it. It was just hard.

She let out a quiet laugh in response to his words. "Speak for yourself." She teased, a slight grin tugging at the corners of her lips. It was strange how much had changed in a year. They'd gone through nearly four years of school hating each other, but now things were pretty much the complete opposite between them. She was happy that things had changed between them, and quite obviously for the better no less.

"What makes you think I'd struggle carrying it up the stairs in the first place?" Fred questioned, punctuating his words with a raised eyebrow. He scoffed in response to her later words. He knew that she was only teasing him, as per usual, and he was going along with it. "I will." He said cobfidently. He picked up the trunk and started over to the stairs. It was somewhat heavy, but he wasn't about to admit that to her or his brother. If he did, he wouldn't hear the end of it.

He was glad that Charlie was here. It would gave felt strange if she wasn't, so he was glad that their tradition still stood and that she'd been able to come here.

Charlie watched as Fred picked up her trunk and started to carry it up the stairs, "Alright Freddie doing good. Only like four more flights left." George teased as they walked up the stairs to the twin's room. Charlie giggled at George's words as she watched Fred go up the stairs, "Remember not to drop it or anything. I have valuable things in that trunk." She said with a laugh.

Charlie couldn't imagine spending her night any other way. She was really sad though that Fred and George would be leaving Hogwarts after this year. She felt that she was going to be alone now. It was just a foreign feeling to her, not being around the twins. She didn't know what she was going to do with herself.

Draco smiled when Aubree agreed to meet after dinner tomorrow, "Where would you like to meet then?" He asked with a grin. He was excited to be able to see her again so soon after their meet up today. Draco wasn't really sure what it was about Aubree that made him different but he was thankful for whatever she had that made him want to be different.

Draco laughed at her words when she teased him before he stuck his tongue out at her. It was weird to think that just over a year ago he hated Aubree as much as the rest of the trio and the day they got put together in potions he thought he was going to end up drinking poison to end it but she turned out to be wonderful and Draco was grateful.

"I doubt anyone will be up in the astronomy tower." Aubree told him. With it being the first night back, people were much more likely to go back to their respected common rooms or dormitories. It wasn't likely that anyone would be wandering through the halls of the school. She knew that, with Draco being a prefect and all, no one would question him, and she could just sneak around. It wasn't like she'd never done that before. She liked to think that she was fairly good at not getting caught too.

She let out a laugh of her own when he stuck his tongue out at her, before leaning up and pressing her lips lightly against his. He really was a different person around her. He was nothing like the person she'd thought he was for several years. Of course, he still put up a front when they weren't alone. It would be extremely suspicious if he didn't though, and she understood that he didn't mean anything that he might direct towards her in front of anyone else. He didn't normally direct by of his comments her way though, so it wasn't very common anyway.

"Watch and learn, Georgie. Watch and learn." Fred simply said as he continued carrying the trunk up the stairs. It honestly could have been heavier, he was glad that it wasn't though, but it wasn't nearly as heavy as he initially expected it to be. "Yeah, valuables." He teased her lightly, setting the trunk down once they reached his and George's room. "I told you lot I could do it." He said, turning to look at Charlie and his brother. He couldn't imagine not having Charlie there with him. It would just feel strange and he didn't like the idea of not having her around. Needless to say, he was glad that she was there, and that they could spend time together, coming up with new pranks for the school year amongst other things, before they left for school the following day.

Charlie raised her eyebrows when Fred carried her trunk up the last flight of stairs and set it down outside he and George's room, "Fred I knew you could do it. But I think I'm the real winner here because I just got you to carry my trunk up four flights of stairs." She explained and grinned widely at him before George busted out laughing. "Ah Freddie I don't know how you didn't notice that's what she was doing." George laughed as he threw an arm around Charlie and they both laughed.

Charlie grinned up at Fred, "Thank you though for carrying my things up the stairs." She said with a smile as she looked at her best friend. She clapped her hands together, "Now. I would say we have about twenty minutes before your mum has dinner ready so why do we take a look over products for this year." She suggested.

"The astronomy tower sounds perfect." He said before nodding. Draco was glad he was a prefect this year so it would be easier for him to sneak around without anyone getting suspicious. He needed that kind of privacy and being a prefect that's exactly what he got. He smiled when Aubree leaned up and kissed him. He pulled her close and kissed back quickly. He had truly missed this with her. He had just missed her in general and was glad he was finally able to see her again.

Aubree smiled. "Alright, the astronomy tower it is then." She said. She figured that it was the perfect place for them to meet up. There would likely be no one wandering those halls, so they really didn't have all that much to worry about. Even if they did have something to worry about, she'd still meet up with him regardless. She smiled when he pulled her close and kissed her back. She'd missed this. She'd missed him. She was glad they would be able to see each other more now with term starting. The last two months had seemed so much longer because she couldn't see him. For now, it didn't seem like something she'd need to worry about so much with school.

Fred scoffed, crossing his arms. "I totally knew that already." He said. He really hadn't, though he hoped that they would believe him. He had a feeling that it wasn't very likely though, and that both Charlie and George would see right through the lie. He nodded in response to her later words. "No problem." He sent a smile her way. He hadn't minded carrying her things up the stairs for her. It wasn't a big deal or anything, he was just doing her a favor. The smile soon turned to a grin. "Now we're talking. Georgie and I here have some new items to test out, don't we?"

Charlie rolled her eyes at Fred's lie but didn't say anything more about it. She then smiled and nodded, "Alright well let's see them then." Charlie said as she pulled the two into their room and then sat down on Fred's bed, "I assume we will be testing them on the newbies right?" She asked with a smile. It was the same thing every year since she had known them. Well plus Lee Jordan was always there too. The four of them were all best friends and all tested out products on the first years.

Draco smiled into the kiss before he heard Crabbe and Goyle calling him name from close to the side street that he and Aubree were standing. He sighed and pulled away, "I have to go but I will see you tomorrow." He said with a grin before he leaned over and kissed her quickly then turned and headed down the street to meet up with Crabbe and Goyle. He practically rolled his eyes when he saw them wandering about looking for him. He missed Aubree already.

Aubree was less than pleased when she heard Crabbe and Goyle. She didn't like the two of them to begin with, but she certainly liked them less now. She smiled at Draco's words. "Tomorrow." She repeated, kissing him back for the few brief moments that they had before watching him walk off. She'd wait a few moments to leave, so no one would really suspect anything, before going off to find the trio. She didn't really know where they were, but what she did know was that she couldn't wait to see Draco the following night.

Charlie smiled at Fred's words before she turned her attention to George, "Alright let's see it then." She urged before he brought out a whole box of the new products and she smiled before she dove into them and started to work her way through them as she looked them over, "These look great boys." She stated before she smiled up at the two. She opened her mouth to speak before Molly yelling up the stairs that dinner was ready, cut her off. Charlie looked over at the twins, "Well looks like our time is up for now. But I like the new products and I can't wait to test them out."

Fred grinned, pleased to see that Charlie was, well, pleased with what he and George had come up with recently. He thought that the new products had some potential though he had no doubts that there was some tweaking that needed to be done. Of course, they wouldn't know for sure until they tested them out, but that was no big deal at all. When he heard his mum call up the stairs that dinner was ready, he stood up, nodding in agreement with Charlie's words. "Don't you worry, Charles. We'll be testing them out soon enough." He ruffled up her hair as he walked past her and down the stairs.

When the train pulled up at Hogwarts, Charlie was thrilled but at the same time she was also really saddened because this would be her last year there with the twins. She felt like she had been through so much with them and truth be told, she had, "Alright Freddie. I'm willing to bet you that by the time you have finished your classes tomorrow you will have at least one detention." She said as they walked back towards the common rooms. They had been through the whole dinner already and Charlie already knew that by the time this year was finished she was going to want to kill herself with Umbridge as one of the teachers.

Charlie could already tell she was a mental case. Her, Fred, and George knew that this year was going to be hard with her because they could already tell she would be on them all the time. It was going to be hard to get away with pranking with her around.

Draco lead the Slytherins back to their common room before he walked back out to 'make sure there was no one else roaming around' and headed straight to the astronomy tower. He was more than excited to see Aubree again. Throughout the dinner he had to sneak glances at her without fully staring at her for a long amount of time. He was dying inside to see her. When he reached the astronomy tower, after practically running, he sat down and waited for Aubree to join him.

Aubree could tell already that this school year was going to be different. The ministry had infiltrated Hogwarts and, going off of what Harry said about that Umbridge woman, she didn't seem to be the most pleasant person out there. She felt bad for Harry right now though, what with everything that people were saying about him. She believed him though. She knew that he wouldn't lie about You Know Who being back. He wasn't a nutter either, and she'd stick up for him if she overheard anyone speaking badly about him. A midst it all, she found herself glancing across the Great Hall every so often towards the Slytherin table. The end of dinner couldn't come fast enough, and when it did, it took everything in her not to dash out of the Great Hall straight away. Instead, she headed back to the Gryffindor common room with the others for a little bit. She stayed long enough for Seamus to make a smart comment about Harry, though, after Ron came to his defense, and both headed upstairs to the boy's dormitory, she didn't stay very long. She didn't think that the trek up to the astronomy tower had ever been this short. Mind you, she was never in much of a rush to get up there, until now. A small smile formed on her lips when she spotted Draco. "You haven't been here long, have you?" She asked, taking a seat on the ground next to him.

Fred knew that he wasn't going to like Umbridge, and she, likely, was going to be the reason why he received numerous detentions throughout the school year. Granted, he received numerous detentions before she started there, but he'd just receive even more numerous ones now, and he knew it. It was going to be a rather interesting year to say the least, though he'd make the best of it anyway. He wasn't about to quit having fun because of her, that he was certain of. "That's a fairly predictable occurrence, Charlie." He said as they walked towards Gryffindor common room after dinner. "We don't have the best track record. It would be different story if we didn't have one. I'll bet you that we receive at least one detention before lunch tomorrow. What's your wager?" He grinned slightly, glancing over to her.

Charlie laughed at Fred's reply before she nodded at the sounds of the bet, "I bet that before your second class there will be at least one detention. And the loser's punishment is that...hmmm..." She thought about it before an idea popped into her mind. It was going to sound crazy but she was willing to do it because either way with this punishment she won, "The loser has to kiss the winner." She finished and she heard George nearly choke. Charlie looked over at him and he gave her a face that said he admired her bravery. "What do you say Weasley?" She asked, stopping and sticking out her hand for him to shake.

Draco looked up when he heard Aubree come in, "No. Just a few minutes. I practically ran here after the dinner and then escorting everyone to the common rooms." He said honestly before he smiled at her. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her close, "I've missed you." He stated. He knew that he had just seen her yesterday but it felt like forever ago and now she was here, with him, and he didn't want her to ever leave again. Draco leaned over and pressed his lips to hers with a smile.

Aubree couldn't help smiling when he said that he'd practically ran up to the astronomy tower. She was glad that she wasn't the only one looking forward to this meet up. "You just saw me yesterday." She pointed out when he said that he'd missed her. "I've missed you too though." She really had. Even though they'd seen each other yesterday, it didn't feel like it at all. It felt like so much more time had passed. She smiled when he pressed his lips against hers, reciprocating almost immediately, her hands resting lightly against his chest.

Fred's eyebrows rose at her wager. He hadn't really expected her to say that, though he wasn't going to say anything about it. He figured that the surprise was rather evident on his face. "You have yourself a deal, Rhodes." He said, shaking her hand. "I hope you're ready to lose." He grinned slightly. He was confident that he was going to be right. He doubted that they could get detention by the time the second class rolled around, lunch was much more promising in his opinion.

Charlie smiled when he shook her hand and then rolled her eyes, "I'm not going to be the one losing." She replied as they continued to walk back up to the Gryffindor common room. She looked up when George nudged her and he smirked and winked at her. Charlie rolled her eyes but couldn't stop the blush coming to her face as she looked down at her shoes and bit her lip lightly. She couldn't believe that after being so in love with him for so long she was finally going to get the chance to kiss him. She knew he probably didn't feel anything for her that way but it was a dream come true (almost) for her. Now if she could just get tomorrow over with.

Draco laughed at her words, "I don't care I still missed you." He said before he smiled when she replied that she missed him. He pulled her closer as he kissed her. He still couldn't believe this was actually a thing. He never would have thought in a million years that he would feel like this over a Gryffindor muggle born. But he couldn't have been happier with her. She made him a different and better person.

Aubree smiled at his words and kissed him back softly. It was clear that, despite the fact that they'd only just seen each other the day before, they'd missed each other. Granted, they'd gone an entire summer without seeing each other, so of course they were going to miss each other, and they didn't exactly get to spend as much time together as other couples did, so she supposed that was reason enough. They weren't like every other couple though. Neither of them had really seen this one coming. A pure blood Slytherin, a Malfoy of all the possible bloodlines, and a muggle-born Gryffindor. She doubted that it was something that anyone would see coming.

Fred had no idea. He had no idea that this kiss was something that Charlie had been waiting for a long time to happen. To him, it was just a kiss. A part of a silly bet that they both had decided to make. They made bets all the time. Granted, none of them had ever ended in a kiss before, but that didn't mean he really thought anything of it. Not by a long-shot. "Someone's confident then, I see." He punctuated his words with a raised eyebrow. "We're just going to have to wait and see, Rhodes."

"I am confident. I am confident I'm going to win because I would love to see on your first day of your last year at Hogwarts that you and I make a bet and you actually lose it. You've never lost before and I know that this time will be different." She replied before she yawned and then shook her head, "Yes we will see. But until then I'm off to bed. Night you two." She said and then headed up to the girl's dormitories. She was instantly greeted by Ginny, "So I hear that you and Fred made a bet and the loser has to kiss the winner. I would say that's not a fair bet because either way you win." She teased. Charlie rolled her eyes, "You're too late. George already beat you to the teasing." She said before getting into bed and falling asleep instantly.

It was no big secret that Draco and Potter were not even friends in the slightest but Draco knew that Aubree was so he tried not to say negative things about the lad too much because of her. That was another thing that was so odd about his relationship with her, she was close friends with the trio and obviously he wasn't a huge fan of the three.

Aubree knew that Draco was only attempting to make conversation, though she was rather surprised that he was bringing up Harry of all things. Granted, he was kind of the talk of the school, and the entire wizarding community for that matter, and in the worst of ways too, so it really shouldn't have been that surprising at all. He was just the last person that Aubree expected to be having a conversation about with Draco. "I'm pretty sure everyone has at this point." She said. "Seamus tried starting with him after dinner. Called him a nutter and everything." She didn't think that it was much of a secret that she was one of Harry's supporters. She didn't think he was a nutter or anything like that. Someone had to of killed Cedric, and she believed him when he said it was Voldemort.

Fred chuckled softly at her words, shaking his head. Confidence looked good on her. It just made other people look cocky, but, on her, it wasn't like that at all. He could tell that she really was confident that she would win the bet, though, with the track record she had over the years, he wasn't all that worried. He won every single bet they ever made, no exaggeration there at all, and he was confident that he would win this one as well. "We'll see if you're still so confident tomorrow." He said, grinning slightly. "Night, Charlie."

Draco raised his eyebrow at her words, "I thought the two were friends?" He asked and stared at her. He couldn't believe that someone from Gryffindor actually didn't agree with Potter. Though Draco knew more than he was letting on. Conversations that went around his house during the summer holidays left him very well informed. Not that Draco was actually involved in the conversations, he just listened. It wasn't a secret that Draco's father was a Death Eater. If anything Lucius was You-Know-Who's most loyal supporter.
