Charlie nodded at Fred's words, "I will report back with how terrible the class was." She said and laughed at his following words. It was true. Putting her, Fred, and George together all in one class was a recipe for disaster. It was bad enough they were all in the same house together and were troublemakers enough for that then you add in them in the halls together and that was worse. But a class together was the worst of it all because now they were to spend all that time together in an area with professors and other students. "See you then." she said and rolled her eyes and fixed her hair that Fred had just messed up. She walked to Defense and sat in the middle of the class and took a breath as she prepared herself to deal with Umbridge.

Draco sighed and looked towards Crabbe and Goyle, "Let's head towards our first class." He said, trying to make it fairly obvious he wasn't including Pansy and was trying to get away from her. He gathered his books and his bag then walked with his two "best friends" towards their first class. He hoped that Pansy wasn't in the class as well and that Aubree was. He wouldn't be able to stand if Aubree was in the class as well as Pansy because he would never get to focus on Aubree with Pansy constantly talking his ear off.

Aubree knew for a fact that not all Slytherins were bad and, despite what she was sure her friends thought, Draco proved that fact was true. Oftentimes, whenever someone was bad-mouthing him, she had to bite her tongue to keep from lashing out and defending him. It was hard, but she managed, because she knew that it was for the best. She stole one last glance over to Draco before continuing on to class. She knew that she'd see him later on, in addition to seeing him in class.

Fred chuckled softly, giving a slight nod before heading off to class with George. It sucked that they never really had any classes with Charlie, though it did happen on occasion. He was looking forward to having class with her this year. They saw each other quite frequently, but now he'd get to see her even more, and the three of them could wreak havoc and give the professor a hard time in class. It was going to be great, though it would probably result in more detentions, not that he really cared anyway.

(sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I went to work with my mom and then my best friend came over and we pulled an all nighter trying to make posters for the 5SOS concert. When we finally did go to bed and wake up we were on vine for forever and yeah I'm just now getting here)

Charlie tried so hard to not die while listening to Umbridge talk. She so wished that Fred and George were there to relieve the terribleness of this. Charlie took notes in her journal and was shocked when Umbridge talked about not actually doing magic in the class and learning about defense against the dark arts instead of actually practicing. This was ridiculous and Charlie had to bite her tongue to keep from speaking out to her.

Draco walked to his first class and sat with Goyle like he usually did while Crabbe sat behind them. Thankfully, Pansy wasn't in the class so Draco wouldn't have to deal with her. He thought about Aubree and smiled to himself at the thought of meeting up with her after dinner. He couldn't wait to talk to her again and be able to spend time with her.

Aubree honestly wouldn't mind if she ended up having to be partners with Draco in another class. Of course, she wouldn't be able to actually let on that she was okay with that, though she knew that the Slytherins and Gryffindors did have a few classes together, so maybe it would be a possibility? If that were the case, part of her kind of hoped they'd have to work together outside of class. That would give her an excuse to spend more time with him and equate to less sneaking around. She could hope that would happen.

The first class of the day proved to be rather dull, though most of them never really interested Fred to begin with. All that ever really interested him were the pranks that he, George, and Charlie were going to attempt to pull of that year, that and whatever products he and George had created over the summer holidays. He couldn't wait to win this bet he and Charlie had made though. He was confident that he would win, yet again.

Once class was finished Charlie practically sprinted out of the classroom to get away from Umbridge. Her voice made Charlie want to get hit by the Womping Willow. She smiled when she noticed Lee heading her way. They talked on their way to their classes. She was excited because her second class was Muggle Studies with Fred and George. Lee was in the class as well and Charlie couldn't wait to get there. This would be the class that decided whether or not Charlie won the bet.

Draco sighed and walked out of the first class with Crabbe and Goyle before heading to his second class which was Potions. He really hoped that Aubree would be in it and for some reason Snape would decide to make them partners again and he could spend more time with her without sneaking around. He, of course, wouldn't let on to anyone that he wanted her as a partner. People would think he had gone insane, "Let's hope you don't get paired up with a Gryffindor again this year, Draco." Goyle said as they walked into the classroom and stood in the back of the class, "Yeah one could only hope." Draco lied.

Aubree knew that potions was a class that the fifth year Gryffindors shared with the fifth year Slytherins. She was certain that Snape would be pairing them off as he had at the beginning of the fall term the year before, and she couldn't help wondering if she'd be lucky enough to be paired with Draco again this year. "D'you reckon Snape'll make you work with Malfoy again this year?" Ron asked as the brunette walked along with the trio towards the potions classroom. "Dunno." She punctuated her words with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "Let's hope not though, that was bloody cruel and unusual punishment once, don't need to go through that two years in a row!" It was rather ironic that she secretly hoped that it would happen two years in a row. Just a year prior, she was plotting ways to get out of working with Draco, now she was trying to come up with excuses to spend more time with him.

Fred knew that this next class would determine whether or not he won the bet or not. So far, he had yet to receive a detention, narrowly escaping one in his previous class, but still escaping it nonetheless. He wondered if he'd end up breaking a record this year or not. Truth be told, he was no stranger to receiving detention on the first day of the fall term. He and George were quick to find trouble once back at Hogwarts, so he wouldn't be very surprised if Charlie won the bet. Not that he'd let on that that was the case. He wasn't about to give her that satisfaction just yet.

Charlie practically sprinted to class with Lee and made sure to sit at an open desk so Fred could sit next to her. Whenever they had a class together the two always sat together and now that Lee was in the class the four could sit together and cause trouble together. When she saw Fred walk in she raised an eyebrow, "Got a detention yet, Weasley?" She asked as he and George walked into the classroom. It was probably obvious that if he hadn't gotten one yet that she was going to try and get him one during class. She wasn't going to lose this bet and if she was going to have to play dirty to win than so be it.

Draco sat down in potions, knowing that Aubree was going to be in the class with him and he was really hoping that Snape put them together as partner. When they were partners before, they worked very well together and did well in the class. So, Snape had to put them together again, right? "Look there they are." Draco heard Crabbe say in a groan before Draco looked over to see Aubree and the other three walking into the classroom. He tried not to smile over at her when they made eye contact, knowing that someone was bound to see it if it was given.

"I'm not sure if even Snape could be that cruel!" Hermione said just before they walked into the potions classroom. Aubree noticed Draco was there already, seated with Crabbe and Goyle amongst the other Slytherins who were also already there. They locked eyes momentarily, and it took everything in her not to smile at him. But she managed to successfully remain stoic as can be as she walked with the trio over to an area of empty tables. Setting her books, down, she took a seat between Harry and Hermione all the while hoping that Snape would pair her and Draco together again this year.

Fred walked into the classroom with George not long after Lee and Charlie had taken a seat. He chuckled at the blonde's taunting words, plastering a large grin onto his face. "Maybe in your dreams, Rhodes." He said, taking a seat next to her. He knew that this next class was going to be an interesting one. If he didn't get detention of his own accord, he was certain that she'd make sure that he did. He knew what the outcome of this bet was going to be, he just wouldn't let it on just yet.

Charlie rolled her eyes at Fred's words before he sat down. Class would start in a few minutes so she took her time to think about how she was going to get Fred a detention. She knew that this would end up with either both of them getting detention or nobody getting detention. That was usually how it worked with the two. It was either all or nothing. When they pulled pranks on each other it was the same way.

Draco watched as Aubree sat down. He heard Goyle say something didn't actually hear what it was. He wasn't paying attention to anything except for Aubree. He didn't even notice that Snape had walked into the room until he started reading out names and Crabbe nudged him. Draco looked away from Aubree and listened to hear Snape say his name and hopefully Aubree's after it.

Aubree felt eyes on her as she sat down between Harry and Hermione. She knew that it was Draco, and she hoped that no one else took notice to him staring at her. She was certain she could brush it off if any of the trio commented on it, though she did hope that it went undetected regardless. Snape walked in a few moments later and began reading out names soon after. "Bulstrode, Longbottom...Crabbe, Finnigan...Parkinson, Granger...Malfoy, Delacroix..." The potion's master read out other names as well, but Aubree had stopped listening. "Sorry, 'bree." She looked to Ron when he mumbled to her, sending an apologetic look her way to which she simply shrugged. " 's alright. I'll manage." She certainly would manage. She had an excuse to see Draco more. Luck seemed to be on their side thus far. "Weasley, Delacroix, twenty points from Gryffindor for speaking while I'm speaking." Not even Snape could put a damper on her mood today.

Fred sent a wide grin Charlie's way when he saw her roll her eyes. Truth be told, he knew that he wasn't going to win this bet. He definitely wasn't going to let that fact be known just yet though. He at least wanted Charlie to believe that he thought he had a good chance at winning this. He knew that he wasn't going to hear the end of this regardless of whether he made it known anyway. When she won, she'd make sure that he knew he was the first to receive detention out of the whole lot of them, and she'd also remind him that she'd been right too. He just knew it.

Charlie watched as George was messing around with Lee before their professor walked into class and everyone died down, "Show time." She whispered to Fred and gave him a smirk and then pulled her book out of her bag and set it on the desk. She still wasn't sure what she was going to do to get her and Fred detention but she needed to come up with something quickly so she could wait until the very end of class to do it. She wanted to make sure that Fred felt like he had won the bet and at the last moment slam the door closed.

Draco almost smiled when he heard his name get called with Aubree's. He raised his eyebrows when Snape took twenty points from Gryffindor for Aubree and Weasley's talking. When Snape finished calling everyone's names they all moved to a table where they could sit with their partners for the term. Draco gave a slight nod to Aubree when he sat down and then sent her a very small smile to let her know he was happy about the match up, obviously.

This was good. It was probably one of the best outcomes really. Now Aubree had an excuse to see Draco outside of class. She knew that it only gave them a little bit more freedom, but it meant less sneaking around. Of course, they couldn't act like a couple in those instances, but it was still more freedom than they'd had originally. She stole a glance over to him when he sat down next to her, returning the small smile that he sent her way before focusing her attention back to the front of the classroom as Snape began to explain what their task was for today's class.

Fred let out a low chuckle in response to Charlie's words. He was ready for whatever came of this class. He was certain that the outcome wouldn't be in his favor, not if the blonde seated next to him had anything to do with it. He knew that she wasn't above playing dirty to have things work out in her favor if she needed to. It was a good thing, because he wasn't above it either.

Charlie listened as their professor spoke, learning more about the muggles than when Mr. Weasley was to talk about them, and that was a lot. Charlie was still coming up with a scheme in her mind. She knew she had a couple of the Wizard Weeze products in her bag and she had to think about which ones she was able to use. Everyone knew a Weasley product when they saw it so it wouldn't be hard to figure out that it was probably Fred that set one off. She knew that she had one of the balls that erupted into a fire cracker type when set off. She figured that was her best bet.

Draco looked up to the room to see what Snape was telling them was their task for the day. It seemed simple enough and he knew that if he had Aubree as a partner they would get it done in no time. They were both fairly good at potions and they worked very well together. When Snape set them off to do their work Draco looked over at Aubree, "Hey." He said with a smirk.

Aubree was certain that Snape's task wouldn't take her and Draco very long. They were both fairly decent at potions, so she wasn't exactly worried. She looked over to Draco once Snape was finished talking. "Don't think I'll be doing all of the work, Malfoy." She said cooly, knowing that she still needed to act like she hated him. If she didn't, her friends, specifically Ron who was seated not very far from her, and the other Gryffindors in the class would surely notice. She didn't mind though, she still had an excuse to spend more time with him outside of class.

Fred was certain that Charlie was already scheming and trying to come up with a way to get him detention. He was doing the same exact thing himself though, not even remotely paying attention to what the professor was saying about muggles. He had a few ideas, however, he wanted to make sure that whatever he went with would be executed properly. He wanted to make this a memorable first detention of the term for Charlie. He supposed it would depend on who beat who to it though.

It was nearing the end of class and Charlie casually reached down in her bag to pull out one of the fire cracker balls. They had tested them at hone with Mrs. Weasley, so Charlie knew that it was going to work. She looked over at Fred and gave him a smirk before throwing the ball up towards the front of the class when their professor wasn't looking. It instantly started going off and crackling and it scared their professor half to death. He noticed the WW on the ball once it finished and instantly looked towards Fred and George, "George if Fred goes down you know that you're going with." Charlie heard Lee whisper over to George. He just rolled his eyes before looking at the two sitting behind him.

Draco rolled his eyes at his words, pretending like he thought they were meaningful, "Well I have to help or else it's going to be wrong." He replied back, throwing some venom in his words. They both knew what they were saying to each other wasn't true but even sometimes, Draco felt like what he was saying was rude and he wanted to take them back as soon as he said them.

Aubree scoffed. "There you go with your bloody superiority complex." She punctuated her words with a roll of her eyes. She didn't exactly like saying what she did to Draco, and she knew that he didn't like saying what he did to her, but they both knew that neither of them actually meant what they said to each other. This was how things had been a year prior though, constantly bickering. Once they set to work though, they were normally some of the first people to finish. Of course, Snape normally threatened the pair of them with detention, or actually gave them detention in some instances, but those detentions were what started helping them get on better and eventually led to their relationship.

Fred was somewhat surprised that nothing had happened yet as the class began to near its end. He must have spoke too soon though, as not long after he noticed the smirk Charlie sent his way before tossing one of the firecracker balls he and George had created towards the front of the room. "Detention! Both of you!" The professor said, pointing out both him and George. Fred couldn't help grinning. It wasn't like he hadn't seen this coming.

Charlie grinned happily when the professor gave Fred and George detention, "Yes!" She cheered before looking over at Fred and grinning, "I win." She said and stuck her tongue out at him, "You too Miss Rhodes. If you're so happy about Mr Weasley getting detention that I'm sure you would be happy to join him." their professor said and gave a pointed look to her. Charlie didn't care. She knew that was how it would end up. She won the bet and that's all she cared about.

Draco raised his eyebrows at her words, "It's not a superiority complex. It's fact." He stated before he heard Snape threaten them with detention. He frowned and started to work on the task, knowing they would have it done in a matter of no time. That's how it usually went with the couple. When they would have their bickering Snape would have to threaten them with detention or actually give them detention in order for them to get to work. After a while Draco didn't mind the detentions because it was time that he got to spend with Aubree.
