Rules

- One story per person at a time. When I finish the first, you can submit a second.
- I'll work on a few at a time, so submit with the request form below and I'll PM you when I begin working on it.
- Prose only.
- I'd prefer original fiction, but I'll look at fan fiction for more structural things and treat it as if it's original fiction, especially if I'm unfamiliar with the fandom.
- It can be a full story or unfinished piece, but know that the longer the story, the longer it will take.

About Me

- I can pick out punctuation and grammatical errors decently well.
- I can check for holes in the plot/plot development, characterization, flow, comprehensibility, etc.
- I'm also considering editing as a profession, so this is good practice for us both!

Hi, I'd really like someone to look through my story La Douleur Exquise (don't worry, it's only a French title, the story is in English). I have only posted one chapter at the moment, the story is very far from finished but I've planned all the way to the ending and I am part of the way through writing the second chapter (it takes days for me to write a chapter, I write a lot then cut loads down). A full critique would be wonderful, if that's possible? It is an original historical fiction and I've spent hours upon hours researching how life was at the time such as how much things cost, what people wear, and the place where I set the story itself. Please be as brutally honest as possible!
