Night Nurse

"So if this was all about me…why didn't you just take me to begin with. Why kill him? Are you that evil that you kill for no reason!?" she asked, trying so hard to keep her composure. "You are such a fucking coward. Go ahead, get it over with and kill me, I would rather be dead than have to be this close to you for one more minute. You're pathetic."

She knew she had hit a nerve by the look on his face, she was pleased with herself. Bree lay back on the bed, with her back to him, ignoring him. She knew that ignoring him wasn't going to make him go away, but it did make her feel better.

"You'll find out what I want soon enough doll, until then you'll just have to be patient." he smirked at her, making sure that he was just within arms reach of her. Giving her a chance at getting her hands on him, but just being a tad too far away was enough to get him off all day long. This was just getting better and better.

Matt narrowed his eyes at Bree. The urge to bitch slap her was urking him badly. But he held it all in. He narrowed his eyes, "In time, you'll find out." He muttered before exiting the room to get himself calmed.

Essence narrowed his eyes knowing the trick he was attempting. She scooted back and turned her head not responding to him. At this moment, she had nothing to say to the low life, scum.

It felt like Bree had been laying there for hours when Matt finally came back, she just closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep, maybe he would leave her alone. She'd rather just lay there and waste away than talk to him or hear his voice one more time.

Brian grinned and walked out, running right smack into Matt, he was furious. Brian just backed off and went the opposite way not wanting to even talk to him. He would give Matt and Essence both chance to cool down before he went near either of them.

Matt slammed the door shut and headed into his bathroom. He took and got a shower as he slipped into some boxers and basketball shorts. He walked out and headed to the bedroom as he saw her laying there. He could tell by her breathing she wasn't asleep. But in fact he honestly didn't want to bother her either. He needed to cool down, but she had to know the reasons. The reasons as to why he done it all. "You want the reasons?" Matt snarled at her.

Essence laid on the bed as she glanced out the window. Her brown eyes staring at the emptiness. She took a deep breath and sighed as she played with the pendant she had on her neck. It belonged to her mom and she'd worn it ever since that night her mother was taken away from her. The night the monster whom had her in this hell hole, had taken almost everything away from her.

Bree sighed not opening her eyes or sitting up. "Yes, I would like to know why you killed my fiancé and why you kidnapped me. A phone call could have been easier ya know?" She said being a smartass.

Brian showered and changed clothes then headed back to his room. Just looking at Essence it reminded him of her Mother...he had his reasons for what he did to her. He had to make Dean Winchester feel his pain. Just like he had caused Brian pain.

Matt chuckled at her smart assness. "So. The whole reason as to getting Jared into our group and killing him." Matt sighed running a hand over his head and staring at her as she contuined keeping her eyes closed. "Vampires we have this thing called a mate. And we get their scent as they enter the world. And well. You're my mate. And Jared was in the way of me being with you. I know you don't want to believe it. And I know it sounds hard or whatever. But it's the truth. In time you'll come to accept it, I hope." Matt said as he got up leaving her alone for a while.

Essence slowly opened her eyes glancing over at the monster as she narrowed her eyes at him. She took and slowly and turned her head back looking out the window. She wanted answers as to why she was here. And why he'd done this. "What do you want with me? Why take and kidnap me, kill my mom and boyfriend?" Essence said bitterly.

"I think you have completely lost your fucking mind. I think you're running a little low on blood. You're not all there right now are you?" She looked at him like he was crazy as he got up and walked out.

"Your dad killed my best friend and the woman that I thought was my mate...he hurt me so I had to hurt him back. He deserved that loss in my eyes. They never did anything to him and they had never hurt anyone. We haven't always been this horrible." He explained.

Matt looked at her and sighed heavily shaking his head. "I guess you'll either have to accept it and learn the truth. We vampires aren't as evil as the people you trusted made us out to be.
It was in fact them that were the worse." Matt said getting to his feet. "You'll have to accept it or learn the hard way to deal with it." Matt said before walking out and leaving a book
on the bed that was Jared's journal of how he wanted to hurt Bree and others, and mostly the A7X clan that had never done anything to him.

Essence looked at Brian like he was nuts, "My dad wouldn't kill anyone or any supernatural being unless it threatened his family or was a threat to the world." Essence growled out at Brian.
SHe had believed vampires were ruthless, but if that were the case. He could've killed her by now. She sighed turning her head from him not wanting to hear that her dad would just kill someone
for the hell of it. She knew better. She bit down on her lip wondering if Brian was telling the truth or lying about it. She knew how vampires would play mind games, and wondered to herself if
this was one or not.

Bree say up as he left looking at the book he had left behind. She opened it up and started reading...it was in Jared's handwriting. This couldn't be right, the person who wrote this was ruthless and wanted to hurt Bree and other innocent people. What if Matt was right? How could she have been so stupid. For the first time in ages, Bree cried. Her heart was breaking all over again.

"Look. I know you don't believe me but it's true and I'm not going to sit here and try to explain it to you anymore or try to convince you cause it's not worth my time. We can talk later if you want but now you need to eat." He said as he handed her a bottle of water and a sandwich then walked out.

Matt sighed sitting in the living space. Rubbing his temples he lent into the sofa seeing Brian coming down the stairs, "Hey man." Matt said getting his vodka and drinking it down straight.

Essence sighed biting on her lip. What if he was truly right? She could feel her heart breaking. Why would her dad do such a thing? She felt the tears roll down her cheeks as she opened the water and sipped it and took a bite of the sandwhich laying it down as she frowned a little.

Bree just sat there and cried for what seemed like forever. She was exhausted. As she finished reading Jared's notebook she knew that Matt was right and it terrified her.

"Hey Matt, what's up?" He said sitting beside him and pouring them both another drink.

Matt frowned walking back into the room seeing Bree in the shape she was. He sighed walking over and sitting down beside of her, "Bree." He said lightly.

Essence sat on the bed and sighed a little. She ran her hand through her hair lightly as she let a soft sigh escape her lips.

Bree looked up at him slowly wiping her eyes. "What do you want now?" She asked, not wanting to know what else he wanted from her. She just wanted to be left alone or maybe she just wanted him to tell her it was all a joke. She didn't even know what she wanted anymore. She looked absolutely pitiful sitting on the bed just staring at him and after a few minutes she didn't even try to wipe away the tears anymore.

At this point in time Brian really didn't know what he truly planned on doing with Essence, he just wanted Dean to hurt...but he had to admit that he didn't have a soft spot for beautiful girls and Essence was gorgeous. He has a hard time reminding himself why he had her here and he wasn't sure if he would really be able to go through with what he had originally planned.
