Alan nodded, listening to her speak. Allie had a beautiful accent, and he didn't understand why she was embarrassed by it. He thought for a moment. "Philly Cheese Steak for me," he said. He was careful not to stand too close to Allie. Though they had agreed to come out to the public as being a couple, he was waiting for the time Allie had suggested.

Presley nodded. "Sounds like a plan." He watched Nick take photos for a few minutes, then raised the camera up again. He looked through the lens, biting on his lip. He took a few steps back, trying to get a good angle.

"Of course, Dr. Grant." She said as she order him the Philly Cheese Steak for him and the salad for her. When they received their orders, Allie made her way over to a table, setting the food down. When she sat down, Allie just looked to him and smiled. Everyone knew that routine with Alan and her, they just didn't know the part of them being a couple. She started to eat her salad, looking at Alan once in a while as they ate.

Nick watched Presley for a moment, seeing how he was cautious about how he took the picture - looking for the right angle. "You have a skill." He commented as he adjusted his lens before taking a picture. It was like second nature to take pictures. "Presley, do you get impressed easily?" HE asked.

Alan loved the way she ordered his food. She knew exactly what he wanted all the time. As they ate, his eyes occasionally connected with hers. But something on the news caught his attention. It appeared John Hammond's photography and film team were already on location. He was puzzled as to why Mr. Hammond had sent them early.

Presley nodded shyly. "Thank you," he murmured. At Nick's next question, Presley was stunned into silence. "I do not understand," he finally squeaked out. He was really only impressed with Nick at the moment.

"That's interesting. I didn't think anyone was going there until later today, when we go." Allie commented. She shrugged it off though as she sat there eating her salad. "Alan." She spoke softly. "Don't worry. John probably has a good reason why they went early." She went to grab his hand, but stopped. She just rested her hand on the table and ate her salad. When she finished up her salad, she smiled in satisfaction. "That was absolutely delicious!" She exclaimed.

Nick just looked at him. "Just wait and see." He said with a smile on his face. "You'll really enjoy your time while on the island. Trust me." He reassured Presley. He felt like this young man didn't know what was going to be happening while here on Isla Nublar. Just then, Nick decided he'd let Presley see it for himself, this way, there would be something he'd be super excited about it -- at least, he was.

Alan nodded. He was trying to figure it out in his head, though. He noticed how she went to hold his hand, but stopped. He sighed, wishing they hadn't decided to tell everyone until after they got back.

Presley nodded slowly, biting on his lip. He took a few more pictures before the jeeps came to pick them up. He still didn't understand what all the fuss was about.

Allie smirked a little, blushing a little. "Sorry..." She said as she took a sip of her water. She then let her hand slip on top of his. "Let people figure it out, I don't care anymore." She whispered as she sat there with him. "So, how many students do you have going with you?" She asked as she sat there, letting her fingers draw invincible circles on his hand. She looked down at his hand then up to his face. "You're something else, you know that." She said smiling.

Nick looked over at Presley and just watched. He then put away his own camera to take in the view for himself. "Absolutely beautiful." He said smiling as he tucked his camera away in his bag. He looked over to Presley. "So what do you know about where we're going?" He asked out of curiosity.

Alan's eyes widened when Allie laid her hand on top of his. He noticed people staring, but he didn't care. Allie was his, and he wanted the whole world to know. "Pieter, and Jimmy, and Elizabeth. And you of course, though you are no longer my student." He smiled. "What do you mean by that?"

Presley felt Nick's eyes on him, and he had to push down his feelings of embarrassment. "Well, I know it has to do with dinosaurs, but Eddie's very secretive," he admitted, a blush finally showing up on his cheeks.

Allie just smiled."I mean you are just so wonderful." She grinned as she continued drawing circles on his hand. She could see people watching but she just smiled. "Yes but I'm your assistant." She smikrd, reaching over and kissing him. She couldn't help it and didn't care.

Nick looked at Presley . "I see. Well there's a lot that you'll see. Trust me." He said as he looked at the young man. "You'll see this differently now after this trip " He said, admitting to him.

Alan smiled at her. He was relaxed finally as she continues to draw circles on his hand. "True," he admitted. He returned her kiss. If people had problems with it, they shouldn't watch.

Presley nodded shyly. "I'll take your word for it." It was then that Eddie noticed him, but he climbed into a jeep before Eddie could get to his side. Eddie turned to stare reproachfully at Nick.

Allie smiled against his lips. "No more secrets." She whispered as she slowly pulled back. She bit her bottom lip as she stood there, looking at him. "You've really changed from when I first met you." She laughed. "I never thought you'd be with someone, or what to be with someone, and here you are now. Here with me. We have a future together." She spoke, her cheeks getting red as she thought about a life with Dr. Alan Grant.

Nick looked at Eddie and just waved. He knew Eddie wouldn't be happy with what he told Presley, but Nick was his own boss and he made his own choices. He then got into one of the jeeps, he sighed, looking through his bag making sure her had everything.

Alan grinned. Now that they were no longer keeping this a secret, he could start thinking seriously about proposing. He knew Allie was the one, though it had taken him time to realize that. He wrapped his arm around her waist, smiling. "It would have been you or nobody."

Eddie sighed. He got in the jeep with his nephew, admonishing him about what he had done. He was furious, with Presley, and with Nick. After all, Nick should've known better... The drive to their new homes on the island was long, and Presley ended up falling asleep before they got there. He was woken when the Jeep stopped, and he heard strange animal noises. He looked around in confusion.

Allie smiled, allowing his arm to wrap around his waist. "Me or no one...that's so sweet." She whispered as she bit her bottom lip. "Should we finish lunch then make sure we're all packed up?" She winked at him, then got up to throw away her trash away. She came back, walking up behind him. She put a hand on his shoulders, then moved in closer and kissed him. "Coming honey?"

Nick sat there in the jeep, wondering how the conversation with Eddie and Presley was going. He didn't think Eddie needed to freak out on the kid, hr would have done the same thing. When the jeeps stopped and strange noises could be heard, Nick pulled out his camera.

Alan grinned at her. How did he get blessed with someone as perfect as Allie? He watched her as she threw her trash away and then was surprised when she came up behind him. He smiled against her lips and began to follow her again. He noticed some of the glares Allie was receiving and he sighed, lacing their fingers together.

Presley whimpered quietly. The trailers had arrived and Eddie ordered Presley to stay in one of them, then approached Nick. Presley swallowed, and waited until no one was looking before pulling his camera out again and following the noises. His eyes widened in shock and he almost dropped his camera when he discovered the source. A herd of Iguanadon... He found himself speechless, and hesitantly raised his camera up to take pictures.

Allie looked towards Alan when she heard him sigh. Something was bothering him, she just knew it. "Alan." She spoke softly. "What's wrong?" She quietly asked as they started walking back towards his office. Last minute double checking on things before they left for Isla Nublar. She watched as he laced their fingers together, but looked straight back at him, waiting for his answer on what was wrong. She could careless what people thought about the two of them together as a couple. It had been like that for a while, they just wanted to keep it a secret.

Nick groaned to himself as he saw Eddie approaching him. "Here it comes." He whispered to himself as he stood there. He didn't want to cause any issues, and he didn't want to get anyone in trouble; it was just Presley had talent and Nick wanted to use that talent. After what seemed like forever talking, discussing, and debating with Eddie about Presley, Nick finally won him over. Nick just smirked to himself, knowing that he could always win fight with Eddie.

Alan sighed again. "Girls hate you now because you're with me. But it doesn't matter. I love you," he informed her. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it.

Presley continued snapping pictures until something seemed to agitate the herd. Presley thought it was him, but... The herd turned their backs on him. He trembled, starting to back away. The young man quickly climbed up a tree, thinking he'd be safer up there.

Allie shrugged. 'Oh well." She whispered as she kissed him. She then smiled, just admiring him. "Let's make sure we have everything." She spoke as she opened his office door. She smiled, making her way over to his desk.

Nick looked around, wondering Presley had snuck off to. Hr was truly concerned for the young man, feeling like he didn't know what was among this trees and such.

Alan returned her kiss. He picked up his bag, which contained some of what he needed for the trip, and went through it. "Everything else should already be on the plane," he said aloud.

Presley held onto the tree with one arm. His free hand clutched his camera tightly. The ground shook a bit as the herd stampeded away from Presley. Something was very wrong.

"Wonderful." She said as she walked out of his office and went to hers. She picked up her bag and smiled. "Ready darling?" She asked. She kissed him once more before reaching for her phone.

Nick looked around. "Presley." He calmly called out. "Presley where are you?" He asked, looking for the kid.

Alan nodded. He followed her once more. Of course, now that everyone knew they were a couple, people just assumed he followed her because he wanted to stare at her butt. That was not him at all. He just liked when Allie took the lead, though he was in charge of their trip.

Presley had climbed up the tree just in time. A pack of carnivores chased the Iguanadon. He waited until the danger was gone, before sliding out of the tree, eyes wide. He heard Nick calling for him and called back, shivering.
