  • "How long do you think we'll be here?" Caoimhe asked her sister quietly as they crossed the school parking lot. Here was Beacon Hills, California. It was very different from their home back in Ireland, and the quieter of the two twins wasn't so sure she'd ever get used to it here. She knew that they were here for a reason, their mother wouldn't have sent them if she didn't think that Deaton needed their help, but she was hoping that things wouldn't be nearly as bad as he thought they were. Of course, there was a reason why she and Saoirse were starting school roughly a day after arriving in town. They were supposed to see what they could find out there. Caoimhe was a bit skeptical, though that was kind of just her personality. She was always a bit more skeptical and less accepting of change than her sister was. She liked to think that she was just being a realist though.
"Stiles, I'm sure they're harmless." Scott said to his friend as he climbed out of the Jeep. With a pack of alphas in town, he really just didn't understand why his friend was so concerned about a pair of twin girls from Ireland moving into town. Granted, they were apparently close to Deaton, who, for whatever reason, knew more than any ordinary veterinarian would, but Deaton clearly trusted them, so they couldn't be bad. "If they were some sort of a threat, do you really think they'd be staying with my boss?" He questioned as they walked. "Better yet, do you really think Deaton would even be okay with them staying here in the first place?"

  • Saoirse tugged on her beanie as she walked alongside her sister and into their new school. "I don't know, a while I'd say, though," she told her sister knowing that wasn't what she wanted to hear, but it was the truth. They'd only just gotten there and from what she'd put together things were only just starting to get bad here which wasn't a good sign. "I think I'm gonna like it here," she said smiling. "Especially since that means I'll get to spend more time with Scott. Who might I add is gorgeous, just don't tell Deaton I said that. We both know if he thinks for a second that I'm not taking this seriously, which I totally am, that he'll give me some kind of lecture or something." Saoirse said positive that out of the two of them she was the one Deaton was worried about most. Though that was usually how it went. Caoimhe was just the more level headed one while Saoirse tended to just go with her gut rather than think things through. Even though they looked alike they couldn't have been more different.
"Dude no offense but you think that about everyone," Stiles said shaking his head as he climbed out of his jeep. He thought of Scott like his brother, honestly, but the guy literally would trust anyone. Which sure Stiles supposed that wasn't necessarily a bad trait, he wouldn't said it was the best one either though. "How does Deaton even know these two? I mean why does he just know a set of twins from Ireland? On top of that why are they really here? I mean have you even asked him that? Better yet why don't we ask them when we see them? I mean they have to know or be up to something to have just shown up especially at a time like this. And I just don't trust it." Stiles said knowing that he would never be as trusting as Scott was. And he didn't know why that was but it's just how he was, he wasn't trusting of new people often. Of course with all the shit that'd went down in this town within the last month alone it made sense to him to be very cautious of anyone knew who might've made their way into town.

  • Caoimhe set her lips in a tight line and nodded. It was no secret that the younger of the two twins, though only by two minutes, wasn't one for change, and that included changes in scenery. Of course, she knew that this was important, and she also knew that this had something to do with the alpha who had killed their brother, so she obviously wasn't going to complain. She just hoped it didn't take too long. She already missed home quite a bit. "Your secret's safe with me." She told her sister, allowing a small smile to grace her lips. She wasn't at all surprised that her sister thought Deaton's assistant of sorts was cute, Saoirse was a bit boy crazy at times. Caoimhe envied her for her confidence. Unlike her sister, she lacked in the talking to boys department. She normally stammered and stuttered over her words and made a complete idiot out of herself. She couldn't help it, she just didn't have the confidence her sister had.
Scott shrugged his shoulders. "Deaton said they're family friends." He said. He knew that Stiles was right though, he didn't necessarily trust everyone, but he did give them the benefit of the doubt. He saw no reason to not trust someone until they gave him a reason not to, so that was exactly what he was planning on doing with the twins. "I've only met them once, but they don't seem so bad." Alright, and maybe he'd had a really nice conversation with Saoirse...Caoimhe was a bit quiet, but that didn't make her suspicious, she was probably just shy or something. "If you want to ask them, then by all means go ahead. They're right there actually." He pointed them out as he and Stiles walked into school.

  • "Good," Saoirse said smiling at her sister before sighing when she noticed Scott and his friend walking towards them. She hadn't really expected everyone to not have questions about why they were there, after all usually when someone knew came to a town like this people wanted to know why. She had however hoped that the people with the questions wouldn't be people Deaton had asked her and her sister to look after. Mostly because they weren't really allowed to tell anyone the truth, not even Scott, just for precautions, and it was just easier to lie to people who weren't suspicious. "You know remember the plan if anyone asks about why we're here right Caoimhe?" She asked biting her lip, "because I'm pretty sure Scott's friend doesn't trust us, and that only means he's going to have questions." She adding really wishing it didn't have to be this way, but until it was the right time it was better for everyone if they didn't know the truth.
"I will," Stiles said matter-of-factly. Yea these two could've been family friends of Deaton's, but that didn't mean for a second that he trusted them. Deaton knew a lot of people, and he might've trusted them, but that didn't mean they were good people. He wasn't going to say they were bad people either because maybe they weren't. Until he knew more about them though Stiles wasn't taking any chances. "I guess that just means we're going to have to hang around them then so we can get a vibe about them." He said reminding himself to be careful and to look them up when he got home. Surely he'd find something, even if it was just social media pages. "You've met them and I kind of haven't yet so you should say something to them first," he said not wanting them to think he was suspicious of them or anything.

  • Caoimhe nodded. "Yeah, 'course I do." She told her sister. She wasn't surprised that there was someone who didn't trust them, she'd be more surprised if there wasn't at least one person, and she was sure that there would be others besides Scott's friend. It was kind of inevitable really. "Looks to me like they're headed our way right now." She added, her gaze having shifted from her sister momentarily to just down the hall where Scott and his friend were headed from. It was enough to put her stomach in knots. She remembered the plan, but knowing her, she'd stammer over her words or something and really seem like someone who was hiding something. That would truly just be her luck.
"I guess so." Scott said. He didn't have a problem with hanging around the twins. He'd be able to spend more time with Saoirse outside of when he saw her at the animal clinic. He'd take any excuse that he could get to get to know her better. She seemed interesting, and she was cute too. It was about time he try to start moving on from Allison, so here was the perfect opportunity presenting itself to him. "Alright." He started over towards the girls, knowing that Stiles would follow. "Hey." He sent them both a smile. "Ready for your first day?" He figured it was an okay enough conversation starter, plus, he was curious as to how the two were holding up so far.

  • [ I replied to our Harry Potter roleplay too! ]

Saoirse looked from her sister over to Scott and his friend, who'd walked up to them. "As ready as I could be," she told him shrugging her shoulders. "I'm a little nervous really," she said biting her lip. "I mean we were kind of homeschooled back home so we're not exactly used to all of this. Plus well you're the only person aside from Caoimhe here that I know," she added pretty sure meeting new people wasn't going to be a big issue, the issue was going to be keeping up with school work all while trying to figure out what was going on with the alpha pack. However, she was hopeful that it wouldn't take her long to get the hang of things. "I'm Saoirse by the way," She finally said holding out her hand for Scott's friend.
Stiles still wasn't sure how he felt about these twins, that didn't mean he'd forgotten his manners. Though, some people might've said he didn't have any he'd have to disagree. "Stiles," he said shaking her hand. "And uh it's nice to meet you." He added figuring now was as good as any to ask them questions. After all, he had just met them and he was pretty sure that's what normal people did. They asked questions to try and get to know the person(s) better. "So Scott was telling me you two are from Ireland, I'm sure it's a lot different here." And though Stiles had never been to Ireland before he knew that it was a lot different than California.

  • [I never got a notification for it Facepalm I'll post on that one soon as well]

The moment Scott's friend walked over with him, Caoimhe could sense something different about it. He wasn't a wolf, no, Deaton had told them he was human, but he was different. The aura about him, it almost seemed as though he were an emissary, or soon to be one. Deaton would have mentioned if Scott's pack had an emissary though, and he hadn't, so she assumed that that wasn't the case. If it wasn't though, then what was up with his friend? "It's very different here." She said quietly. "It's going to take some getting used to. I'm Caoimhe by the way." She kind of shocked herself when she introduced herself and everything. She was normally rather shy and quiet around new people, especially guys.
"Well, now you know Stiles too." Scott told Saoirse, sending a small smile her way. He hadn't known the two of them had been homeschooled back in Ireland. He assumed that the first day at a new school was normally overwhelming to begin with, he couldn't imagine going to public school, in a completely different country, after being homeschooled for several years though. "Did you two get your schedules yet? Maybe we'll have some classes together." he was hoping that that would be the case. He'd like to see Saoirse outside of the animal clinic if he could.

"I'm sure," Stiles told her knowing it was a big move and there were a lot of differences between California and Ireland but at least they were trying to get used to it. Honestly he didn't know if that was something he'd ever be able to get to. Yea he'd love to travel, and maybe live somewhere aside from Beacon Hills in the futute. But that somewhere would probably still be in California because he just loved it in California. Though he supposed maybe somewhere else in the states wouldn't be that bad either. He just wasn't sure he'd want to live in another country. "It's nice to meet both of you," he finally said knowing he should try and play nice until he knew if he could trust them or not. "Yea maybe you guys have a couple classes with us," Stiles said smiling when he heard Scott mention classes, "and even if not we could totally help you guys find classes if you needed help." He said still being friendly.
"Yep now I do," Saoirse said glancing over to her sister who was actually talking without stuttering to a guy. "Uh let me see here," she said biting her lip while she pulled her binder out of her bag and then grabbed her schedule and showed it to Scott. "I'm not really sure what classes you have but there's my classes if you wanted to compare it to yours I guess," she said hoping they'd have at least one class together. More would be prefered really because it meant more time to see Scott, more time to get close to Scott, but even just one would be okay too. And she didn't know if Scott and Stiles had a lot of classes together or not, but she did know that she and Caoimhe had all but like one classes together. Which she was pretty sure she knew why that was and how it happened but that didn't mean that they'd have all those classes with Scott.
