Rosie simply rolled her eyes once more and continued on her way. She wouldn't put it past him being late or even forgetting to meet her after school. She was only doing this to help him, so, if he didn't show up, it was his loss really. If he didn't show up, it was no skin off her back. He was the one who was going to fail the class if he didn't step up his game and actually start caring about school instead of basketball and whatever else he had going on.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Peter said, smirking slightly. He could tell that her mood had lightened up a bit, and he was tempted to comment on it and how seeing him later on was clearly enough to brighten up her day, but he decided against it. While they had a tendency to go back and forth with the snarky remarks, he figured there was a point when a line needed to be drawn. He figured that, for today, that was enough. "How soon?" He could be there in minutes if need be.

Derek knew that in all reality, she was probably his only ticket at passing this class. And it was dumb, because it was really all his fault. He should have studied more instead of opting to screw around with his friends. And he knew that if he did actually fail, that he might even have to be held back a year. That wasn't going to happen at all. There was no way that he was going to spend another year in that school. So by the time the end of the day rolled around, he wasn't necessarily looking forward to being tutored, but it was a necessary evil if he wanted to pass this class.
"That's a yes," Abby replied, laughing quietly. She was already heading to her car when he asked her that. She paused for a second, wondering if she was going to come off as desperate. She worried about that for a second before continuing on. Maybe so, but who really cared? They were both getting what they wanted. "Ten minutes?" She asked, ducking into her car. She put the keys into the ignition, assuming that he was going to be there.

There was a part of Rosie that would have liked him not to show up, but the other part of her, a small one, but still a part of her, knew that helping him was being the better person. He might infuriate her to no end sometimes, but she didn't exactly want him to fail the class. So, she waited outside of the school for him, somewhat conflicted as to whether or not she wanted him to actually show his face.
"I'm pretty sure the word yes never came out of my mouth, Young." Peter countered, letting out a slight chuckle. It was moments like this when they were actually being civil towards each other. At first, it had felt kind of strange, but now, that didn't seem to be the case at all. While they sent snarky comment back and fourth, it was kind of nice just to joke around and tease each other every so often. "I'll see you there."

Derek practically ran towards the front of the school. He'd ended up getting cornered by this girl a year below him, and while she was cute, she just wasn't his type. More importantly, she was going to make him late for the tutoring session, and that was more important anyway. So by the time he reached Rosie, he was more than a little worried that he'd already screwed up before even trying. "Sorry I'm late. Sara Ledger refused to leave me alone."
"The fact that I can call you up and you're at my beck and call just screams 'yes', Peter. It's okay to admit it. You're not terrible looking, either," Abby fired back, grinning to herself as she started up the engine. "I'll see you then," she said, hesitating just a second before she hung up. She tossed the phone onto the passenger seat, pulling out of her parking spot. She would never admit it to herself, but she had started to look forward to these little meetups more and more lately. She chalked it up to just being in the mood, but deep down, she kind of knew that that wasn't the only reason.

Rosie sighed, frowning slightly as she waited out side of the school. He was late. She was only going to give him five more minutes, that's what she told herself. If he wasn't out the door within the next five minutes, she figured he was a no show. However, she was surprised when, not even a moment later, the doors were pushed open and he was rushing out of them. He seemed worried, which surprised her, and a somewhat apologetic expression seemed to cross his face when he saw her standing there still. "Well, I'm glad you managed to get away from her. I was contemplating whether or not to leave." She told him, pursing her lips. "Well? Are you going to lead the way? I have no idea how to get to your house."
"Ah, but see, you're the one who had to call me. I didn't have to call you. What does that say, Young?" Peter countered, the smirk returning to is face as he grabbed his keys and started towards the front door. He saw no reason to tell his sister where he was going off to. Talia might be his alpha, but he saw no reason to tell her where he was going. She was out anyway, probably preparing for tonight just in case something were to happen. He slipped his phone into the pocket of his jeans before heading to his car. He actually kind of looked forward to this, though he'd never admit that to Abby.
