Carter hesitated a second before finally having a seat, keeping his guard up. This felt like one big trap, and he just didn't want to be a part of this whole gang of sickos. But if he was going to survive, he was going to have to play the game. Carter wasn't stupid, he didn't get straight A's in school for nothing. "Like I care about your feelings," he said dryly, leaning back into the seat. "What exactly does my father have to do with all of this? What did he do to you, exactly?" That was his first question, it was the most important one to him. Everything went back to his father and he just wanted to understand.

Ryder just nodded. "Yeah. But get dressed first, I don't need anyone out there seeing what's mine." He said with a small smirk, standing up and reaching into the dresser, pulling out some of his clothes and tossing them on the bed, nodding towards them. "And then we're leaving." And with that Ryder was putting his own clothes on.

Caspian frowned, "Your father took money from us. He never gave it back so that means we get to take something of his." He said as he took a swig of his beer. "What better way to get back at him than have you start helping the people he hates." He said as he watched the boy closely.

Jasper nodded and got dressed. He went downstairs and quickly went to the kitchen. He grabbed something to drink then scurried back upstairs to Ryder's room. He shut the door then sat on the bed and took a sip of his drink.

"I haven't seen my dad in a few years so I don't know what kind of help I'm going to be to you, but whatever floats your boat." He said with a shrug of his shoulders, looking around the basement before back over to Caspian. "And my mother, is she alright?" He asked, nervously waiting for the answer. She had nothing to do with this, she knew just as little as he did, his father left them both in the dark.

Ryder watched as he came back, slipping his wallet in his back pocket. "Where do you want to go?" He asked casually, slipping his shoes on and tying them. It was almost as if everything was normal, even though he knew whatever relationship they had was far from normal. Jasper was only around because he feared for his life and didn't want to die.

Caspian laughed, "Your mother is alive for now." He said as he walked over to him. "But that can be changed if you piss me off. I have no problem killing her in front of you." He said as he grabbed the boys face.

Jasper looked at him and started to get changed, "Where ever you want to go. " He said He watched him then looked out the window. He couldn't wait to get out of this house.

[ holy shit sorry this took so long. I've been working plus being in and out of the hospital, ugh ]

Carter narrowed his eyes at the other, wriggling around before realizing it was pointless. He'd play along as his good little boy, for now anyway. "I want her safety guaranteed." He wasn't going to be satisfied unless he knew she would be safe so long as he did what he should.

Ryder shrugged. "I don't care, I'm just starving." Being in a house full of males who barely knew how to cook didn't make things better, either. Ryder could cook if it came with instructions, but he was limited. "Come on, then." He said, walking out of his room and down the stairs. "We're gonna head out, get some food that's not microwaved," he said to the men downstairs, who just grunted in response.

Caspian frowned, "Fine she will remain safe." He said as he took his hand from his face slowly. "Now tell me." he said as he watched the boy closely. HE looked over at his friend and nodded, "Alright." He muttered.

Jasper walked out with Ryder and got into his car with him. He relaxed against the seat, glad that he didn't have to worry about being in the house for now.
