Kandi's Super Special OTP Extravaganza
one true pairing: When you have two characters in a show you like to pair together, and you want them to be your children but also be your parents, but also, you want to see them fuck, but then you’re usually attracted to one or both of the people involved, so ultimately what the fuck kind of complex is that?
To deem a ship OTP, one is declaring their deep emotional investment in it.
You guessed it, this contest is all about celebrating your OTPs.
The objective: Choose any of the prompts from this blog and write a oneshot based off of it. I’m providing a few prompts below, but by all means, if you find one that you’d rather use, go for it!
Rules:
1. This is a given, but please abide by Mibba’s rules and guidelines.
2. Fanfiction only.
3. Any ratings, pairings, subject matter, etc is perfectly acceptable
4. I’d prefer nothing prewritten for this one.
5. No minimum or maximum word count, but let’s please try to keep it to oneshots only.
6. Good grammar is a must. After all, this is a writing contest.
7. As far as layouts go, they don’t factor into my judging at all, so I don’t care if it’s pretty. I just need to be able to read it.
8. Please link back to this contest and the prompt that you used.

Prompts
As I mentioned, you’re more than likely to pick any prompts from the OTP blog that you’d like, these are just a few I’ve pulled out for people who are too lazy to go trolling for prompts

1. Imagine your OTP lives with roommates. Your OTP still has not mentioned they are dating, but one morning Person A tiredly walks in wearing one of B’s iconic shirts B always wear. All the roommates start questioning until B walks in and makes it real obvious they did the nasty last night.
2. Imagine your OTP in the apocalypse and trying to find a place to have sex.

3. Imagine that your OTP is having very loud sex and keeping awake your other OTP who are not yet a couple and have unresolved sexual tension.
4. Imagine your OTP making a bet on the sex of their unborn child, then having boy and girl twins.
5. Imagine Person A of your OTP is pregnant, and Person B has begun a habit of talking to A’s stomach, from telling stories to bad jokes. A lot. Whether Person A finds it cute or is incredibly annoyed is up to you.

6. Imagine Person A and Person B on Halloween walking through the scariest haunted house in town. Person A pretends not to be easily frightened, while Person B has no problem displaying their fright and clings to Person A’s arm.
7. Imagine your OTP+ meeting when the fire alarm in their apartment building goes off at 3 am, and both of them are wearing next to nothing while waiting outside for firefighters to take care of the situation. Weather Bonus: they decide to share blankets for warmth and end up cuddling.

8. Imagine your OTP sitting in a coffee shop together while the weather is getting colder outside. Person A wasn’t prepared for how cold it ended up, with only wearing a sweater, while Person B is bundled up in sweaters and jackets, and is enjoying their hot cocoa. Person A, even if they’re a whole other size than Person B, keeps trying to get them to give them a jacket, while Person B just giggles and pretty much teases them about not planning ahead, and finally decided if Person A buys them another hot chocolate and gives a kiss that maybe they’ll give them a jacket. Whether Person A agrees, or Person B keeps their word, is up to you

9. Imagine person A of your OTP going to person B saying “We should be a couple for Halloween.”

10. Imagine your OTP/3 carving pumpkins. At least, they were going to carve pumpkins, but they get into a pumpkin gut war instead.
Bonus: Sometime in December, they find pumpkin seeds stuck in the ceiling lamp. And then start throwing those at one another.
11. Imagine your OTP is in a sex-only relationship, but as they fall for each other and give each other little kisses and buy presents for each other, they say “no romo.”

12. Imagine A casually bringing up to B that it’s a downer they have yet to find “their song”. When B asks why, A says something like “it’d be nice to have something to dance to at our wedding”. When it looks like B has caught on to what this means, A proposes.
13. A severe thunderstorm hits your OTP+’s town, knocking out the power and leaving every building dark inside. A is terrified of thunderstorms and/or the dark, so B (and C+) gather up every flashlight and candle in the house, build a blanket fort and illuminate it with battery operated fairy lights (so they won’t start a fire with the candles), and snuggle up with A to watch their favorite movies on a laptop while they wait out the storm. They end up falling asleep in each other’s arms.
14. It’s your OTP’s anniversary and the date seems to have slipped Person A’s mind. Somehow - through a friend or a discovered calendar - they find out it’s their anniversary and scramble to get something prepared for Person B, scared to death about their reaction if they think Person A forgot. When Person B comes home and finds Person A’s good (or bad) gifts and celebration idea, they just stare for a second before laughing and saying, “…You forgot too?” What happens next?
15. Imagine your OTP leaving little love notes for each other around the house. (Bonus: Person A leaves really sweet, fluffy notes, but B’s are suggestive and sometimes dirty.)
16. Imagine your OTP kissing each other’s favorite spots and where they like most on their partner. One/both of them likes “everywhere”, so they literally give them/each other kisses everywhere.
17. After Person B’s death, Person A covers the walls of their home with sticky notes describing Person B’s characteristics. Person A had never mustered the courage to tell Person B that they loved ‘em and is now terrified of forgetting a single attribute of their beloved best friend. About 6 months after Person B’s death a tornado hits their little house. The next morning when Person A returns to the rubble all the sticky notes are blowing through the air without a word on them. Laying there, in the middle of the demolished house is Person B, unconscious but very much alive, with Person A’s words inked all over their body.
18. Imagine Person A of your OTP buys Person B a teddy bear for Valentine’s Day/B’s birthday as a way to show their love for Person B. Person B takes the gift but claims that teddy bears are a bit too childish for them. Person A later finds Person B asleep on a couch/bed/whatever you want with the teddy bear in their arms. What happens next is up to you.

22. Person A has had a hard life and is planning suicide. They decide to jump off a bridge at dawn so that the last thing they see can be the only thing they deem beautiful. Just before they got on the ledge, Person B walks by asking if they came to watch the sunrise. Person A, not wanting to be stopped by this stranger, says yes, and decides to wait for them to leave. Instead, the two start to get along and go out for breakfast. Over the next few years, Person A starts to get their life back together, and them and Person B become friends-turned-couple, and are happy together. One night a year or two into their romantic relationship, Person A finally reveal what they were really going to do the morning they met. What Person B’s reaction is up to you.

23. Person A has loved person B for years but are afraid to tell them, worried about rejection. One day Person B dies tragically and Person A regrets never telling them how they felt.
