Avery nodded as he asked her to talk with his alpha. She sighed and knew she would because no one would be leaving the pack. Avery kissed him gently and smoothed her hand over his cheeks then down his chest. She squirmed lightly against him. She knew that they needed to reconnect again and she wanted to. Haden nodded. He knew what this was. He had experienced it with Jake before he joined the pack permanently. "I know what's going on." he said and hung his head. This is what he had been afraid off. "The only way I know how to curb it until you are ready to shift with your wolf is to wrestle with you when you're feeling angry. It won't be enjoyable but it will help give your wolf an outlet it can use." he said and looked up at her. He caressed her cheek. He didn't want to tell her his biggest fear was that she didn't want to stay with him because he was alpha. He was concerned about it more than he could express in words.

Jake teased as she pressed her lips to his neck, he wasn't sure what she was hooping to drag from him. His ears perked up at the sound of her growl, that sound from her was so sexy. Laney looked at him, "couldn't that be dangerous?" She asked him, not wanting to put him at risk. "And besides you have so much on your plate right now you don't need to add this to it." She didn't want him to take care of her again. He'd been so kind and taking on more than his share. And she hated that she couldn't help him more, but she felt so weak and disappointed in herself. "So what your saying is if I transform all of this will go away?" She asked him, knowing that she'd been in wolf form not even an hour ago. So if that was all it took then she'd have to sneak off more and figure this out. Because she hated how it made her act towards him. She didn't want to be angry with him anymore. Avery giggled hearing Jake in the next room. She was bidding now but she couldn't help how giddy she felt. He had liked this idea she had seen it in his eyes. Haden shook his head. "The only risk would be your wolf coming out while I am still human and that does not worry me. I have dealt with that before." Haden assured her. He shook his head at her other worry. "If it saves our relationship it's worth it. And yes shifting into your wolf form can help but until you and your wolf decide to go solo or acknowledge me as alpha then this will be there between us." He said and cupped her cheek. "Now will you please eat. I can't take your pain. That is much more than I have strength for." He said and sighed kissing her forehead. "I love you Laney. More than life." He whispered against her hair just holding her.

Jake entered the room his eyes zeroing in on her form. His lust filled gaze raking over her body, hoping to predict her movements. He quickly reached out and grabbed her, before moving to pin her to the wall. "Running from me?" He questioned her, before running his hand down her cheek. Avery squealed giggling as he grabbed her. She gasped her eyes darkening as she felt her back hit the wall and her hand pressed tot he skin of his chest her nails gently bitting in for a moment before running up to his shoulder. She looked up at him beaming. She leaned her head into his hand at his touch. She gasped her eyes opening and clouding with desire as he talked about punishment. Jake grunted feeling her move to remove her shirt, his hands moved to her arms going to stop her movements. But she cupped his face, staring down at her. He sighed feeling his fight leaving him at her words. But he knew he was to worked up for her words to cool him off. Though he felt his heart warm at her words, "I love you too." He told her, before grabbing her wrist and pinning them over her head. His mouth moving back to her neck kissing on the spot he'd bitten earlier. He knew it was going to leave a bruise, and he felt bad but he couldn't help it. She'd angered him at the same time he wanted to mark her. Jake smirked hearing her words, the fear of abandonment far from his mind. As right now she was wrapped around him in more than one way. Letting go of her hands he moved his hands to her hips. Laney laid there before slipping off to sleep, knowing they were in a better place she could sleep well. Waking up the next morning however proved to be a bit difficult. "Though I was thinking about scouting a bit, maybe cut some more wood." She didn't really know. "After all you and Kyle did so much yesterday today's kind of a lazy day." She told him.

Though even after wearing herself out the day before and the little sleep she got, she still felt energetic. Like she needed to do something, because all this energy wasn't going to go away. She wonder if she'd be able to sneak off for a quick run before chopping wood.

He smiled. "It's a deal." he said. She was giving him a time limit so he didn't work to hard again. She amazed him. He stood and dressed sighing and then pulled her to him and kissed her deeply. When he released her he was breathless and a little aggravated he couldn't have more of her. He chuckled and gave her a wink. "Have a good day babe." he said and chuckled again heading out the door and picking up breakfast to go. He had a lot to get done today. He kissed Penny's cheek in thanks for the food on the run and she swatted him like a sister. She shook her head. "That boy." she chuckled and smiled at her mate who was sitting down finishing his food before the day. "He better not work himself to hard today."
