Following her mother and father out of Granny's, Emma Swan turned back at the distinct sound of her son. "Where are you really going?" Emma sighed as she responded quickly. "I told you. I'm following a lead."

"What lead?" Henry demanded. "It's my job. It's complicated." Emma stuttered out, trying to get him to just drop the subject, though once again he was quickly to reply. "Is this about the person who killed my dad?" Deciding to be honest she sighed and gave him the truth, "Yes.", regretting it the second she did. "Then tell me." Shaking her head, Emma turned down her sons request.

"I- it would just be easier once it's all solved, Henry." At this Henry snapped, raising his voice one octave. "You've been lying to me ever since we got here. I deserve to know everything." Hearing this caused Emma to snap, yelling at him for the first time.

"No, you don't! I'm your mother, and I know best! So you're just gonna have to deal with this for now, okay? Understood?" Henry stepped back, visibly upset by what had just happened "Yeah, I- I think I do."

"How long did Bobby say this guy's been missing?" Aubree asked from the backseat of the Impala. Her uncle had given her and the two Winchesters a call a couple of days ago with a potential case. A good friend of his had phoned him, worried because he hadn't heard from his nephew in quite a while. The last he'd heard, his nephew was heading to a town called Storybrooke. Apparently it was in Maine, but, when Sam did some research, he came up empty handed. That was a rarity in and of itself, but the strangest part was the town didn't even seem to exist. That was when Aubree and both Winchester brothers decided that they probably had a case on their hands.
"A couple of months." Dean answered as he drove. He was assuming that they were close, though he couldn't know for sure since it was almost like the damn town didn't even exist. It didn't show up on Google Maps or anything for that matter. There was definitely something freaky going on here, he was certain of it. "Guy checked in with his uncle a couple of months ago to let him know where he was headed and then it was all radio silence after that." He just hoped that there was actually a case here and the guy wasn't just dicking around or something. That would freaking suck. "Well, would you look at that. Looks like we found were headed in the right direction after all." He said as they drove past a sign that said Storybrooke on it. That had run a lot smoother than he'd expected.

Emma nodded, turning to walk away from her son. "Wait." Henry called out, she looked back once again. "I-I need your keys. I left mine in the room, and if I'm gonna be a prisoner, I'd like to have my game boy." He stuttered out. Emma sighed and dug in her pocket, pulling out the keys and tossing them over. For the final time she turned and followed her parents away from Granny's - unaware of what she was leaving.

"It's so strange that this place didn't show up on any maps or anything." Aubree said. She didn't understand how a town could be completely under the radar like that. Unless, of course, they had something to hide, which was a very distinct possibility. She hoped, much like she was certain Sam and Dean were hoping, that they actually had a case here and this guy wasn't just a total dick who hadn't returned any of his uncle's calls, emails, texts or any other form of communication. "Why don't we split up? It seems like a pretty small town, but we can still cover more ground if we do."
"Yeah, unless they have something to hide." Dean said. Why else would an entire town be so completely under the radar that they didn't show up on any maps or records? There had to be something weird going on here. If there wasn't, well, he'd be extremely surprised if that were the case. He nodded in response to Aubree's words as he drove further into town. "What do you say, Sammy?" He asked, glancing over to his brother. "I'm fine with that." His brother responded, shrugging his shoulders. "Alright, so how about Sam and I head down to the sheriff's station and you can have a look around town, maybe ask a few locals some questions to see if any of them know or have seen this guy?" He glanced in the review mirror, making eye contact with Aubree. "Sounds good to me." She said.

"David... I'm going to the sheriff station, can you guys get Belle and bring her with you. There's some things I need to look at." Emma questioned, though she said it more as a statement. All she wanted was to get this over with so she could take Henry back to New York. His life was better there - without all the storybook characters. Turning on her heel, Emma started left towards the station as the other continued on toward Gold.
Killian Jones raised his eyebrows at the child hat had tried to take his mothers car. Fortunately enough, he was there to stop him, now all he had to do was keep him busy. "Henry - you ever see that lass before?" Hook questioned, his eyes catching sight of a small brunette stepping out of an unrecognizable car.

"Don't do anything drastic without me, boys." Aubree said as she got out of the Impala. She really hoped that they would actually find something here, and that they were actually dealing with a case, or else this was going to be all for naught. Finding a town that wasn't on Google maps or anything else was was a challenge to say the least, so there had better be a case here and this Greg Mendel guy better not just be dicking around.
"We wouldn't dream of it, Aubree." Dean chuckled slightly, waiting for her to get out of Baby before he drove off towards the station. He was thinking the same thing that Aubree was to be honest. He hoped that they actually had a case here. Little did he know, that he'd probably get more than just a case here. More than he could ever possibly realize at the moment. He parked the Impala next to a yellow bug at the station and got out, waiting for Sam before they walked inside.

Emma kept her head down as she hurried back to the station. Unlocking the door when she arrived she walked straight to her desk and began rifling through all the papers. Finding nothing she went to the filing cabinet and sorted through the files there. She heard the door open but she dismissed it as being either her mother, father, or both.
"Excuse me sweetheart!" Hook called out to her, walking towards the unfamiliar but beautiful girl. Henry followed suit, wondering what was so mysterious about unknown people wondering into town. It happened all the time right? Hiding his hook behind his back, he stuck his hand out to great the girl. "My name is Killian Jones, and I don't believe I recognize you." He stated as he reached her "Are you lost?"

Aubree glanced over her shoulder when she heard someone call out to her. She knew that she didn't know anyone in this town, though she did stop when she saw the man who was heading towards her. He was dressed head to toe in leather, and when he got close enough to her for her to really take in his features, she found that he was rather attractive. If guy-liner was her type that is. No, Aubree, focus. You're supposed to be looking into more information on this Greg Mendel guy right now, not shacking it up with one of the locals. "Can I help you?" She asked, punctuating her words with a raised eyebrow. She watched as he stuck his hand out, the other one hidden behind his back for one reason or another, and introduced himself. Shit, he has an accent...

"I'm not lost, I'm here with a few of my colleagues. We're looking into a missing persons' case." She pulled her badge out of her jacket pocket. "Agent Romanoff, I've with the FBI." She explained. That's when the kid she hadn't noticed was there until now chimed in. "Like Black Widow?" She was taken aback by the question. No one ever question any of her aliases, and she knew that no one really questioned Sam and Dean about them either. "Yeah, no relation of course." She mustered up a small smile.
"You must be the sheriff." Dean said upon noticing the blonde with her back turned to him and Sam as she rifled through one of the filing cabinets. He was thinking the same way that Aubree was, and he was certain that Sam was as well: he hoped that this Mendel guy was actually missing and that there was actually something weird going on in this town. More often than not, when it seemed like there was a case, there actually was one. There had been a few minor exceptions, but those didn't happen often at all. He hoped that this wouldn't be one of those exceptions considering how much of a pain in the ass it had been to find this damn place.

"Of course..." Killian smirked knowingly, turning to Henry. "Go on back to Granny'so and I won't tell you mum about this little mishap. Oh - and give me those." He stated, snatching the car keys from Henry's hand. Henry grumbled, a scowl on his face as he retreated to the way he came. "Now, why don't you tell me who you really are. You're a great liar - but I know liars. You're not with the FBI - whatever that is - and your name isn't Romanoff." He stated, gesturing towards the diner "I won't tell anyone your secret though, mi'lady. Come into Granny'so with me and grab a drink - you can explain who you're looking for."
"Yup, that's me. Well, kinda, it's a shared job between my father and I but I can help you with whatever you need. What's your nam-" Emma gasped as she looked up from the file cabinet. There was no possible way that this was.... no. Shit it's not possible she thought to herself, her eyes wide and her mouth slightly agape. Dean?

"What indication do you have that I'm lying?" Aubree asked, punctuating her words with a raised eyebrow. She tried to act unfazed by his words, though she was still kind of caught off guard by the fact that the kid had questioned her about her alias moments before. He hadn't called her out like this man had, but she still didn't normally get asked questions about her aliases. No one ever really thought about the different pop culture references or anything like that. "And if I were lying, which I'm not saying that I am by the way, how do I know that my supposed secret is safe with you? I just met you." She crossed her arms, making no motion to move towards the diner across the street.
Dean's eyes nearly popped out of his head when the blonde looked up and he saw who it was. "Emma?" He couldn't believe it. He hadn't seen her in a really long time. Was his mind playing tricks on him or something? He knew that it was her though. The wide eyed expression on her face was a clear indication of that. But what were the odds that she'd be in this town where their current potential case was. "I---you're the sheriff?"
