Hang on, I think I maybe missed something in the rules! When you note "no slashes", what does that mean?

It's basically that I don't want any gay stories. However, honestly I just don't want to read femme-slash stories. - I know I might sound like a b*tch, but it's just not me.

But if you were planning on writing a man-on-man story, I can make an exception.

I actually already started a slash fiction, I just found it an odd thing to see in the rules so I wanted to clarify. It's okay, I can drop out if you'd prefer.

No you don't need to drop out though. I can still read it - as I said; I'm just not really up for reading femme-slash, and I really can't tell you why because I don't even think I have a legit excuse for it.

omg no it's okay, I can understand. Sometimes I don't like it because I don't like girl-on-girl romances, it kinda... grosses me out? And I know that sounds bad but as a bisexual woman myself, I don't always like to involve myself in the romantic side of being with girls, only sexual. I don't know, it's twisted and strange, I don't entirely understand it myself. And I'm just rambling nonsense now.

If you're sure it's okay then I'll stay in! This will be my first Mibba contest.

Thank you!! That's exactly how I feel! I'm not a bisexual though but anyway; It grosses me out, and you don't know how many times I've been getting sh*t about it - especially on Mibba.

I could understand why people might be upset, y'know? But it's not like anybody's saying girls being with girls is gross, per se; be who you are and so on. It's just the specificity of reading about it that gets weird. Hell, I get grossed out by a lot of non-slash too. I don't know why it disgusts me in writing sometimes, it just does? Maybe you have to be in the right mood for it. :')

And okay! Good, 'cause I'm excited about my idea, I just hope I can get it finished on time. It's already coming out far more long-winded than I intended.
