Toni had broken up just two weeks ago, and he had miserable everyday since. He beat himself up over it constantly, he hated himself for leaving the best woman he ever had, but he had done it to protect her. Her family had been threatening to take away everything she had and would receive in wills and trust funds. He was also actively involved in gang activity which could endanger her. Toni told himself he wasn't going to go by her house again, he knew that was a lie. As he headed out to the car he tried to convince himself otherwise, but the moment the car was started there was no way to stop himself. He drove from his small apartment, to her decent-sized, nice, house in the rich part of town. Her parents had bought it for her and hated whenever he had stayed over there, but he preferred her house to his apartment. Toni knew he wasn't welcome in this part of town. His car was well known, it had a Vipers symbol painted into it and was the stereotypical mustang of a gang boy. He pulled up across the set from Jessica's house, taking a few deep breaths. Toni didn't want to go and ask how she was, he was just getting himself mentally prepared to leave. He didn't want her hurt or to ruin her life.

Jessica moved around her kitchen, slowly putting away the groceries she had just bought. On the center of the table lay a pregnancy test, one she was scared she already knew the answer to. Shaking her head Jessica out the rest away before going to the bathroom. It was crazy she couldn't be pregnant, it wasn't the way things were supposed to go. She missed Toni like nothing else but if she were to go back to him then she would be left with nothing, she wouldn't have her family anymore. I rebellious thought in the back of her head told her she was better off without them. Closing her eyes tightly she looked down at the test one last time before doing what she had to do.
She placed the test on the counter, and walked back into the kitchen, it was already going to be the longest three minutes of her life without standing and watching it. Jessica grabbed a glass of grape juice and sat at the kitchen table . She wanted Toni to be here right now more than anything else, but she wasn't even sure he would stay if she was... if she had his child growing inside her. Shaking off the thoughts Jessica put her glass of juice down and shakily walked back to the bathroom. On the counter lay a little test with two pink lines that told her she had a great deal of choices to make, and not long to make them.
Trying to hold the tears back she grabbed her coat and practically ran out the door, she had to face reality but first she needed a minute to let everything sink in.

Toni's head shot over to Jessica when he saw her run out from her house. It surprised him to see her acting like that, so much it took him a minute to react. Toni realized she hadn't even realized he was here, even though his car was unmistakable and he was in plain sight. When he finally decided it was best to find out what was going on, it had seemed like Jessica had calmed down, just in the slightest.

Toni exited his car, shutting the door quietly behind him. He made his way across the street and over to Jessica. As he approached her he began to talk quietly so he didn't scare her. "Jess, it's me, Toni." He murmured and then took another few steps closer. "Jess please tell me what's wrong, I've never seen you run like that from your own house." He murmured, the only time she had stormed off from him was when they broke up.

Toni finally was standing right behind Jessica, he placed one hand on her hip and looked down at her. Toni was generally an intimidating man. But to her he softened like butter.

Jessica looked up at Toni utterly frightened for a moment, unsure if she could even answer the question without letting out more emotion than her mother always said was proper to show. Instead she quickly hugged him, tighter than she even though was possible.
"I... Uh... We have to go inside, I need to talk to you Toni," She muttered her face deep in his chest. Maybe before saying right out she was pregnant she could see where he stood with everything.
Jessica quickly let go when she realized she was standing on the side walk and there were people around, people that knwe who Toni was and knew he wasn't supposed to be here. "It's important," She stated, sounded much stronger than she felt.

Toni hugged back the moment he felt Jessica's arms around her. He held her tight against him, not wanting to let go because it all felt right to him. He enjoyed the quick moment they had together. For just a moment forgetting everything that had happened.

"Alright." He murmured, running a hand down her side. "Lead the way, Jess." He said and bit his lip, the way she spoke made him very nervous. He knew that she rarely showed him lots of emotion like this, and when she did it was important.

Toni followed Jessica inside, avoiding the stares of anyone who gave one, giving a few glares back at a few older gentlemen. He hated how prejudiced they were just because of his background. Toni was a gang leader, and had violent tendencies. But with Jessica he was a sweetheart, it was a side that no one but her saw. She loved it About him, he was glad he had found someone that broke him like she did. Once inside he shut and locked the door behind them. "Your parents are going to hire an assassin to kill me when one of those half-wits tells them they saw us." He mumbled bitterly.

Jessica couldn't help but think the assassin mark wouldn't be to far off the mark if they found out how just how far she had disobeyed them, but she couldn't tell Toni that just yet. Instead she put a large fake smile on and told him, "As if an assassin could get to the great Toni Ricotelli."
As calmly as she could she gestured towards the bathroom, she wasn't sure the words would come out right, and things had to be decided immediately, because I'd she went to the doctor for anything her parents would know then and there.

Toni grinned at her comment, putting an arm around Jess. "That is true. But your family has enough money to buy my soul." He said with a snicker. On more than one occasion Jessica's father had tried to but Toni away from Jess. His highest offer was half a million dollars. But Toni really did love Jessica, he refused to leave her. When that didn't work they began to threaten Jess with taking away inheritance and disowning her, then threatening Toni himself.

Toni followed Jessica into the bathroom staying close to her, as if if he drifted too far he would lose her again. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to him. But his eyes soon laid on the pregnancy test and he raised an eyebrow. A closer inspection and he realized that it read positive. He bit his lip and looked at her. "You're pregnant?" He half asked. "You have my kid inside you?" He said softly. Toni didn't show much emotion, he was shocked, but he wasn't upset. Toni would take care of both of them. He would love too.

Jessica looked up at Toni her eyes wide, maybe he didn't understand the issue this would be. Not the baby, the perfect child that came from their love. No her father, well he could be scary when he was disobeyed and this was as far as she had ever gone in that regard. They had to do something! She just wasn't sure what though there weren't really any options here.
Jessica grabbed Toni's hand and pulled him out of the bathroom and into the kitchen where she could focus on something other than him while they talked. "Yes. But my father... you haven't seen the worst of his anger yet, but this..." She grabbed a couple things out of the fridge and put it on the counter glancing at him out of the corner of her eyes. This would keep her together for this conversation no matter what he said. Like her mother always said, keep it together, act like nothing can touch you, and nothing will.

Toni followed Jessica out into the kitchen. He watched as she took things from the fridge, he recognized what she did. He believed it was foolish but he wasn't going to tell her that. It was how she coped with things. However he could tell how panicked she was, and in regard Toni walked over and pulled Jessica into hisar so, holding her tightly against him. "Jessica, I swear to you he isn't going to harm you,me, or that baby."

Toni looked down at her, giving her a reassuring look Ashe held her tightly against him, sighing softly. It scared him shitless what was going to happen from here on out. Anything could happen. But he would be damned if he let the one he loved, or their child, get hurt.

He worried Jessica didn't want to lose her family, but he knew it had to be addressed. "Babe, fuck your family. I love you. I will be your family. I know I'm not a rich man, but I would do anything for you. I will make sure you are provided for." He sighed and kissed her temple like he always did. "You mother doesn't entirely loathe me, maybe she can talk sense into him."

Jessica smiled at the thought, her mother had actually even liked Toni before her father had realized just who he was, and what that meant their little girl was getting into. Maybe she would call her in a little bit and talk to her about it. If nothing else she would help keep it from her father's ears while they figured out a game plan.
"Fuck the money," Jessica said putting the knife she was cutting vegetables with down and staring him straight in the eye, "But my mother... she hasn't always been the best... But that is what she was raised to be..." That was what Jessica was raised to be too. But for some reason she cold never pull off the wasp attitude as well as everyone else, besides she didn't really care to marry the richest man around and pop out little perfect children.
"I love you Toni, and I love this baby." Jessica muttered one hand on her flat stomach.

Toni nodded as Jessica spoke. "I know babe, I know. You always try to act the same and you can't. It's pretty cute." He said and a small smirk spread across his lips. Toni wrapped his arms around Jessica and pulled her against his body once more, just holding her contently. "I love you so much." He murmured and pressed his lips to the top of her head again. "Also this kid of going to be a stunner." He said and grinned playfully at her. Toni knew their child would be attractive, both of them were. They just weren't who you'd expect to be together. A gang leader and a rich girl. Toni just held Jessica there, enjoying not the closeness for a few moments before allowing her to move again. "Jess, baby, I am very lucky to have you, and I promise you won't regret me." He said and chuckled. "Although have you ever really thought you would?" He teased.

Jessica smiled up at him, "Well there was this one time...," She trailed off jokingly. In truth she had never once regretted a second with him, and was still a bit upset with herself for letting her father get in between them in the first place. Everyone saw him as some hardass, ruthless person. But that wasn't him, not really.
"So we're having Japchae for dinner," Jessica stated going back to cutting the vegetables into little slivers. She loved cooking, but not easy normal stuff, no she really preferred cooking dishes from far away places she hoped to visit someday. Maybe she would with Toni and the little one.
Jessica looked at the clock, and decided it was still early enough to make one quick call. Putting the knife down and grabbing her phone she muttered a quick, "I'll be right back," before heading into the living room.

Toni chuckled and moved to the table, sitting down in his usual seat to watch Jessica cook. He loved to watch her when she cooked, she always cooked things he had never heard of, but they always turned out really good. He figured it was due to the difference of how they grew up, but it didn't bother him, with her he would try and do all sorts of things.

Toni nodded and watched Jess grab her phone and leave off with it. People thought of him as controlling and a very jealous guy, but he was the opposite. He trusted Jessica fully. The only time he would get jealous was when someone hit on her right in front of him, or was actively trying to break them up to get with her, but other than that he allowed her to do anything. He didn't care, he trusted her and loved her. It had surprised her when they first got involved, but after the two years together she knew he wasn't faking it.

Toni took out his own phone to make a few calls, his certainly weren't the same as hers. He was calling different guys that were in his gang arranging them to meet with the supplier. And as soon as they did, start selling for s profit. Toni wanted to show Jess he would take care of her and the baby. It wasn't like he didn't have money, he did, he was nowhere near poor, but his income was also very illegal. He sold drugs, placed illegal bets, and all sorts of other things. But he was good at it. This was his job.

When Jessica got off the phone she had an appointment with a doctor the town over, for a little over a week for now. Obviously not her regular doctor, but it gave her a little extra time to get her ducks in a row. The next call she would have to make would be here mother, but that could wait until tomorrow and plus it would probably be better to have a face to face conversation.
Jessica walked back into the kitchen a brood smile on her face, "I've got a doctors appointment next Thursday, if you'd like to come." She went back over to the finished vegetables and put them in a bowl before pulling out the cellphone noodles. A smile stayed on her face the whole time, maybe this could work out for the best.

Toni grinned when she came back in. Sliding his phone onto the table Toni walked over and stood besides Jessica. "I'll go." He murmured and watched her as she cooked. He enjoyed being here with her, it calmed him and was the best feeling in the world. Toni leaned over and kissed her temple. "Jess, babe." He murmured as he sat back down. "We've gotta figure out what we're doing with your parents. Your mom doesn't completely hate me. But if it was up to your dad I would be dead or serving a life sentence." He said quietly and glanced over the texts on his phone. "And once he finds out that I got you pregnant he's either going to kill me or pull some publicity stunt saying I raped you." He said and rolled his eyes, but looked over at Jessica. "I love you so much." He murmured and couldn't help the smile that spread across his face as he looked at her.

Jessica looked at Toni shocked, she would publicly renounce her name before she let her father accuse him of something like that. It just wasn't going to happen, she had watched her father strong-arm so many people in her life she had actually learned a thing or two. Besides that she knew if she said she would do it and really meant it he would at least think about it before doing it she was his only heir, and it would cause a messy scandal.
"He wouldn't dare," She said looking Toni seriously. "Besides I'm calling mother in the morning, it's going to work out, it has to." She finished mixing the soy sauce into the noodles and made them both plates.
"What would you like to drink, love?"

Toni shrugged slightly as Jess spoke. He didn't show it, but it worried him her father would do anything to keep her away from him. He was sitting next at the table, his fingers drummingon the table as he thought about what they would do. He loved Jessica and didn't know what he would do if he lost her because of her father. "You have some of my beer left?" He asked and took a bite, grinning up at her. "Babe you're such a good cook" he mumbled with his mouth full.
