Ivana walked out of work after finishing her shift - she was exhausted and all she wanted to do was go home to rest. As far as she was concerned nurses were underpaid and overworked. She climbed into her old beaten up car then began her drive home, the streets were pretty quiet but that wasn't unusual for how early it was in the morning, but it seemed almost eerily quiet.November 1st, 2015 at 05:42pm

Kaia climbed out of her car and parked in the driveway, heading into her house. She was tired, but after long days of classes for a biochemistry major all that meant was more studying. She grabbed her bag and headed inside, feeling her phone go off and smiling.
"Hey," She said to Andrew, setting her bag down onto the couch and heading into the kitchen. She and Andrew had been dating about a month now so while they were still relatively new as a couple she was really happy with him.
William slammed the door on his truck, heading inside his house. He stopped at the mailbox and looked around, noticing how eerie everything felt, but shook it off.November 1st, 2015 at 07:35pm -
She drove home to her apartment then walked up the stairs to her small one bedroom apartment. She looked around and sighed - the power was out and she realized maybe that was why it was so quiet in the city that day. She went to her fridge and grabbed a bottle of water when she heard a loud humming noise.

"You're always bored," She grinned, looking around and flipping a switch. "Huh, I think my power is out too." She said, looking around the house. "Hey, do you hear that?" She asked, hearing a loud humming sound and looking out her window. "Do you see that?" She asked slowly, seeing what looked like parachutes covering the sky. "Outside your window? Oh my god, I think we are being attacked," she said, looking around quickly.
He heard a humming noise and looked around, seeing what looked like thousands of soldiers parachuting down. His eyes widened and he didn't stop to think, he just ran into his house and started throwing things inside, water, food, ammo, and his rifle because something was telling him to run.November 1st, 2015 at 07:48pm -
She went to the window and gasped at what she saw outside - her eyes widened. She ran to her bedroom and grabbed her hiking backpack that she had fully stocked for her trip with William that weekend then grabbed some extra clothes before running out of the house to her car.
He looked outside,"Yeah... I see it, I'm on my way if you can't stay there go to our spot just outside town," he said to her seriously, "Pack all the food and water you can," he said to her.November 1st, 2015 at 07:55pm -
She nodded and grabbed a bag, stuffing things inside of it. She had no idea what was going on but she was worried about him, her parents, and friends. "Okay, stay safe, alright? Stay on the phone with me just in case." She grabbed everything and ran to her car, climbing in and driving off ltoward their spot. Soldiers had begun heading into houses, forcing families out.
William got into his truck and started driving, seeing Ivana down the street. "Where are you going?" He called to her, seeing soldiers beginning to land and untie themselves. "We have to go."November 1st, 2015 at 08:05pm -
"I was going to the camp ground," she said to him as she looked at him out her window, "I have everything in my car - we need to get out of here," she said to him.
He jogged out to his car after packing a quick bag, "It'll be okay just don't stop for anyone, do you hear me?!" he said to her as he started his car and backed out his tired squealing.November 1st, 2015 at 08:10pm -
"I wont," She said, speeding off and ducking her head when she began to hear gun shots. "Andrew, theyre shooting people!" She screamed, moving towards the edge of the street and not stopping to check around her. "Im around the corner from your house."
He nodded. "Follow me, keep close and dont stop." He shouted to her, driving off down the street when she was in her car.November 1st, 2015 at 08:18pm -
She nodded and followed him down the street, she knew this was bad - she didn't need to be told more than once. The gun fire was more than enough to set her off.
He sighed,"Keep your eyes ahead don't stop - we still don't know whats going on just keep going," he said to her as he drove.November 1st, 2015 at 08:24pm -
She kept driving, her eyes ahead of her. She knew this was bad, she just didnt know how her parents were. "Okay." She said, moving as fast as she could to the place. She pulled onto the campgrounds and drove as far as her car would make it before stopping and sighing. "Im here," she murmured.
William drove, seeing people scattering all over. He pulled off onto the dirt path leading to the camp grounds, pulling into the woods away from where most people camped.November 1st, 2015 at 09:15pm -
"I'm almost there, you might be able to see me," e said to her, "How much food did you get to grab?" he asked her.

"A lot," She murmured. "I still have my camping pot set, so we could eat for weeks." She said, getting out of the car to see him.

She nodded,"I brought the fishing poles, the dried foods and lots of water, the fire starters and stuff, I'm fine though, I'm shaken," she said softly as she wrapped her arms around him
He nodded,"Good, good we need to find shelter now - it looks like it might rain that'll cover the car tracks - we should drive these into some bushes so they're covered, it's good they're not brightly colored,"November 1st, 2015 at 10:14pm -
She nodded a little and got back in her car, pointing at the bushes. "They have the tents they rent out, we can use one of those." She murmured and drove her car into the bushes. She climbed out and grabbed her bag, walking over to him and pulling him into a hug. The day had been so normal until it wasnt.
He pulled her close and sighed. "I know. No doubt we arent tje only ones in these woods. But we'll find out what's going on soon."November 1st, 2015 at 10:48pm -

She nodded a little as she held onto him, "We should find somewhere to settle in for the night - chances are those soldiers will be all over the woods and we need to find a place to rest,"
He nodded,"I stopped at an ATM got a couple hundred dollars out," he said to her, "We should have enough for some water as well," he told her.November 1st, 2015 at 10:50pm -
"We can hang by the camp sites," He murmured. "If they do come, we will hear and can hide."

He nodded,"I know, it's a way to put fear in.... we're under attack, it'll be the first war on home land in a long time," he told her.

She nodded and pointed towards the tents. "We can stay over there," She murmured, sighing a little and grabbing her bag.
