Grace Potter, the slightly less famous, though not by much, of the two Potter siblings, had not expected to be escorted to King's Cross by the Order, much less that she and her brother would be receiving any sort of an escort at all. Granted, much of what had occurred that summer, more recently the Dementor attack in Little Whinging that Harry and their cousin had been involved in, along with some of the other more recent events weren't exactly expected either. She knew that this year was going to be a tense one, what with what the Prophet was saying about her brother and Dumbledore, and it was clear what her stance on the whole issue was. Of course she believed her brother. She knew that he wouldn't lie about Voldemort returning, and she knew how Cedric's death had impacted him. He wasn't a mental case like the prophet was saying, and, in all honesty, she thought Fudge to be a bit of a coward. The man was clearly in denial, or too stubborn for his own good anyway, and she wondered what it would take for him to see that everything of what both Harry and Dumbledore were saying was true.

She'd been quiet up until the moment that she noticed the scruffy-looking black dog pass by them, roughly around the same time that her brother did, she reckoned. Letting out a quiet snort, a small smirk graced her lips. It really didn't come as much of a surprise to her that Sirius had shown up. It was roughly around that same time, that she glanced around the crowded station and spotted a familiar head of white blonde hair. When it came to Draco Malfoy, Grace really didn't know where she stood. He obviously wasn't her brother's biggest fan, and her brother obviously wasn't Malfoy's either, however his distaste for Harry didn't seem to carry over to her.

The thing was, although they shared the same last name, they were two very different people. Though both could be equally as stubborn and hard-headed at times, they also couldn't be any more different. Of course, both obviously shared some qualities and personality traits, as they had both been sorted into Gryffindor for that exact reason, but she didn't share her brother's distaste for a certain Slytherin. She saw no reason to. He'd never done her any wrong, and, to be perfectly honest, she didn't really understand why her brother seemed so convinced that any, and all, Slytherins were bad. Sure, quite a few of them were, but, not all of them. She didn't think that Draco Malfoy was one of the bad ones, he'd given her no reason to believe so. Needless to say, she and her brother saw things, and people very differently at times.
The fact that this would be his last year at Hogwarts was almost surreal for Fred Weasley. He felt as though it was just last year when he and George had first boarded the scarlet steam engine to the magical school, already coming up with all sorts of mischievous things they could do once they were there. Fred was hoping that he and his brother could put some of their new products to good use this year. It was strange to think that this would be the last year that they could, in the best way possible, torment the first years. While he was certain he was ready to finish the last of his schooling at Hogwarts, it was, in a way, almost bittersweet. He didn't want to think about that too much right now though, he hadn't even gotten on the train yet.

"Behave you two." Molly said, pointing an accusing finger at him and George, causing an identical mischievous grin to cross both of their faces. "Dunno what you're talking about, mum. We're always on our best behavior, aren't we, Georgie?" Fred said, glancing over to his twin with a wide grin on his face. "Fred's right, mum. We're always on our best behavior. I mean, we've only planned to blow up two toilet seats this year. I reckon that's a new record for us, don't you?"
