You Are My One, My Only

Faye smiled back at her, hoping that the consolation she put forth made her feel a little better even in the slightest. She honestly couldn't imagine how Spencer felt, and she really didn't want to either--it was a terrible though. She stood up and held out her hand, helping Spencer off the side of the tub. "Lets get back out there. We can all play a game or watch the guys jam or something. That way it isn't all baby talk, okay?"

Zacky shrugged at Matt. "I mean, some IVF shit, but I really don't know what all that entails... Spencer knows a lot more about it." After a moment he noticed that Faye was now gone and Spencer hadn't come back. He looked back over at Matt, "Any idea why our girlfriends are missing?"

Spencer nodded. "That sounds nice," she said. Listening to the guys play always made her feel better. Getting to her feet, she followed Faye back out into the living room. She sat down next to Zacky and curled into his side, resting her head on his shoulder. "Will you guys play something for us?" she asked him. "You know I like hearing you play."

"No idea," Matt answered. He'd seen Faye disappear upstairs to go the bathroom, but that had been about ten minutes ago. And Spencer had been gone longer than that. But suddenly both girls reappeared, as if summoned by Zacky's question. Spencer went to Zacky and Matt pulled Faye close to him, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Zacky smiled down at her and nodded. He would pretty much do anything to make her feel better. He stood up and looked around at the guys, "Matt's garage or the small studio in the back?"

Brian laughed, "The studio, you dipshit. It's too hot to play out in the garage."

Zacky narrowed his eyes at him but laughed, "Shut the fuck up."

Faye turned around and pressed a kiss to Matt's lips and spoke in a soft, quiet voice. "Let's try and make this just a kick back. No baby talk. I really don't wanna upset Zacky and Spencer."

Spencer followed the guys out to the small studio at the back of Matt and Faye's house and sat down on the couch, curling her legs underneath her. She watched Zacky as he got his things ready, strumming a few test chords on his guitar, and she smiled to herself. She loved him more than anything and it killed her that she couldn't give him the baby that he wanted.

Matt nodded, kissing Faye again. "Alright," he said. He took her hand and walked with her out to the small studio. "Do you girls have any requests?" he asked. "Since we're doing this for you guys." He figured they could jam for a little while and then maybe head out to the pool, since it was pretty warm and Faye wanted things to be more relaxed.

Zacky grinned at Spencer as he saw the way she looked at him. It made him feel on top of the earth every time she shot him that look. "What do you want us to play, babe?" He looked around at the others, seeing if any of them had idea.

Jimmy rapped out a little beat on the snare, "Pick something before I just start playing!"

Faye shrugged and smiled as she sat on the arm of the couch next to Spencer. "Ya'll skipped practice yesterday so, I'd assume do what you were supposed to do to begin with."

"Play something off your new album," Spencer said, smiling back at Zacky. "I haven't hardly heard those." The guys were working on putting out their self-titled album and the music on it was a lot different than COE, which Spencer liked.

"Alright, well I guess you'll both get what you want, because that's what we need to practice," Matt said, grinning. He turned to the guys. "How about we start with Dear God?"

Zacky nodded and smiled at Spencer as they begin to play. If Zacky had one escape from reality, it was his music. Above all, playing through music helped let his unwanted emotions escape, helping him deal with everything that was going on. After they finished the song, he looked to Spencer. "Thoughts on that one?"

Faye clapped and hollered, even though she had heard that one a handful of times prior. It was actually one of her favorites off of the up coming album. "You guys sounds great."

"You guys sounded great," Spencer said. "As usual." She smiled at Zacky and leaned over on the arm of the couch, curling her arm underneath her head for support. She kept her attention on Zacky as they started another song. She always loved watching him play; seeing the passion he put into his music and playing made her fall in love with him all over again.

"Ah, well it helps that we have such a beautiful audience," Matt said, smiling back at Faye. It made his heart swell to hear her clapping for them because to him, she was the most important audience member he could ever have.

"It would be better if they'd start a mosh pit or something," Jimmy teased.

Zacky rolled his eyes at Jimmy, "Leave the girls alone, don't you remember the last show they came to? Faye and Spencer almost fought that group of girls who started being rough--hence why they are on the side lines now." Then he commented, "Wasn't the best idea, was it Faye?"

Johnny chimed in, "Totally was the best idea, because it was pretty hot seeing them get all heated."

Zacky glared over at Johnny, "Dude!"

Faye held her hands up in defense, "I had never been to a concert before and I wanted the experience! It took a lot of begging on my part, but Spencer eventually caved. I wasn't the only culprit."

Spencer giggled. "He's just joking, babe," she said. "Besides, he doesn't know what he's talking about. You know you're the only one ever really gets to see me get heated." She gave Zacky a wink just as the other guys groaned.

"That's gross, Spencer," Brian said. He went over and covered Johnny's ears. "We have little ears here!"

"And I don't think I like the idea of my pregnant girlfriend being in a mosh pit," Matt laughed. He made a face listening to Spencer, but he also remembered how worked up she and Faye had gotten and how much he enjoyed watching Faye. Johnny was right, it had been pretty hot. "I think we should play something else now, what's everybody say?" Matt suggested, trying to change the subject.

Zacky laughed as the others made faces at Spencer's comment, but nonetheless he shot her a wink back. He was elated to see that she was becoming more relaxed around everyone, being her normal self, and not worrying too much over the prior events. He looked around at the guys and questioned, "Wanna do Unbound? I think we said it needed a little tightening up."

Faye giggled as the boys got uncomfortable with Spencers comment, but she thought that it was hilarious. She looked over at Spencer who seemed more relaxed, "Hey, I'm gonna go grab something to drink, you want something?"

"Yeah, I'll take a water if you don't mind," Spencer said, smiling at Faye. She settled back against the couch, listening as the guys started to play another song. She hadn't missed Matt's comment about his pregnant girlfriend and despite her trying hard to ignore it, it just reminded her all over again how...jealous she was of Matt and Faye. But she didn't want Zacky to know that she was upset, so she forced a smile onto her face.

"Yeah, we can do that one," Matt agreed. As they started playing, Matt noticed Faye heading back into the main part of the house. He'd always found her beautiful before, but now that she was carrying his baby, he saw her as nothing less than a goddess. When she returned with drinks in her hands, he made sure to make eye contact with her, giving her a wink.

As Zacky watched the way that Matt and Faye looked at each other, he couldn't help but feel slightly upset. Everything they wanted was going right for them. It was almost as if he and Spencer couldn't catch a break. He walked over to her before they started the next song and pressed a kiss to her forehead and smiled, "You know that I love you right? No matter what?" He wanted to make sure that she knew he didn't feel as though there was anything wrong with her, because he knew that she all but hated herself for not being able to get pregnant quickly.

Faye smiled over at Matt and blew him a kiss. She opened her mouth to talk but was interrupted by Johnny, "Fucking gross guys, quit. Instead of practicing this is become lovey-dovey time."

Faye rolled her eyes, "Oh shut the fuck up and get over it, you pansy-ass."

Spencer smiled softly. "I love you too, Zack," she whispered. "No matter what." She wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. She felt so lucky to have Zacky, who made sure she was happy and tried to give her everything she wanted. If only she could give him everything he wanted. She made a face when she heard Johnny's comment, laughing at Faye's response. "He's just jealous," Spencer said.

"You tell him, Faye," Matt said, chuckling. Johnny grumbled something under his breath, but Matt could see the smile his friend was trying to hide and he knew Johnny was just messing with them. "Come on Zack, let's play something else before Short Shit has a temper tantrum." He made sure Johnny was watching as he blew Faye a very exaggerated kiss.

Zacky laughed and kissed Spencer on the top of her head before moving back to where he was before and strumming a few chords. Every now and then he would look out of the corner of his eye and see Spencer staring at him, making him feel as though he was the only one in the room. He felt lucky to have a woman by his side that had such a strong effect on him.

Faye smiled as she she sat down on the couch next to Spencer. She watched the boys, admiring how flawlessly they played together. When the song ended she looked towards Spencer. "Hey, how is work going? We haven't been able to catch up in a while..."

Spencer shrugged. "It's going pretty good, I guess," she answered. "Zacky hasn't really come out with any new designs lately, so there hasn't been much for me to do." Spencer was a model for Zacky's clothing company and she actually really enjoyed it. She'd been skeptical when he'd said he was going to start VU, but she still supported him every step of the way.

"Alright, let's take a break," Matt said after they'd finished their next song. He rubbed his stomach. "I'm starving."

"I'm hungry, too," Jimmy whined. Suddenly he grinned. "Ooh, we should go out to eat!"

Matt shrugged. He definitely wasn't opposed to a group outing. He went over to the girls and sat down next to Faye on the couch. "Hey, are you girls hungry? We were thinking about going to eat."

Zack through his hands up in the air, "Hell to the yes, lets go out to eat. I'm starving." He walked over and grabbed Spencer's water bottle, just taking a swig from it. "I'm thinking Italian or steaks. What about you guys?"

Johnny scrunched his nose at Zacky, "I'm not feeling that man."

Faye looked at Matt, pouting slightly with the sudden realization that she couldn't eat her favorite food anymore. "Babe, can I still have sushi? Like what if it's all cooked?"

"How about hibachi?" Spencer suggested. Fried rice with some shrimp and some onion soup sounded delicious to her. And there was a show involved, which Spencer enjoyed.

Johnny made a thoughtful face. "I could go for hibachi."

Matt shook his head. "I don't think so, babe," he said. He hated that for Faye, because he knew how much she loved sushi. "You can't have raw fish. And if it's cooked, it's not really sushi. Sorry."

Zacky nodded in agreement with Spencer and Johnny. Hibachi did have steak. He thought that it was a pretty good compromise. "Well, whatever, I can get steak there too so that's chill with me." He wrapped an arm loosely around Spencer's shoulders and smiled. "Good suggestion, babe."

"Ugh," Faye groaned. She pursed her lips but then smiled at Matt's protection over her and their unborn baby. She leaned over and gave him a kiss. "You can't keep me away from some shrimp and rice tho."

"Oh god," Brian mumbled in Matt's ear. "Just wait until her cravings kick in, man."

Spencer leaned into Zacky, smiling as well. "Why thank you, I'm pretty proud of myself for coming up with it," she said. She turned her head, pressing a kiss to Zacky's cheek. "Let's go if we're going, y'all have got my stomach rumbling."

Matt chuckled, kissing Faye again before moving away. "Wouldn't dream of it, babe," he said. As far as he knew, shrimp was fine for pregnant women. Matt laughed at Brian as well. "How bad could it be, man?"
