Farrah's eyes

Sawyer stood against the wall of the cafeteria sipping on the bland tasting punch. It was the annual "after school hangout" which her parents always forced her and her sister to go to. They described it as a way to get to know your peers. But she had already grown to know everyone. All the kids knew it was just a way for their parents to have a worry free night out. Her eyes scanned the crowd and locked onto an oh so familiar face. He wasn't looking at her. He was too busy talking to Scott and a younger kid, Liam. He was all the rage for the younger crowd. But her eyes were always on Stiles; they had been for quite some time. The pair shared a few conversations throughout the years but he was always too shy around her. She always hoped that would change. She could tell something was not going as planned with the group. They started to walk towards the exit and she sighed, once again there would be no chance of talking to him. She turned her body to walk towards the crowd but ended up bumping into someone. The liquid emerged from the cup and onto her denim jacket. She silently cursed to herself and mumbled an apology to the girl. She made her own way towards the exit, wanted to discard the soaking material in her car. The wind hit her when she was outdoors, it gave her slight chills. Something was definitely not right. It was dark out but the moon illuminated the parking lot. She walked towards her car, picking up her pace when she heard noises. She took off her jacket as she walked, wanted to make this trip as fast as possible. She heard a loud thud by her, causing her to jump. A figure emerged from the cars, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw who it was. "Stiles? What are you doing out here?" She questioned.

Liam hated these types of events. He didn't like being around Scott and the group, something weird always seemed to happen. Stiles was talking to Scott and he tried his best not listen, this however earned a nudge from Scott. "Did you hear Stiles? We have to go now." Scott stated, leading the others to the exit. "What do we even go to these things if we're just going to leave?" Liam huffed. "It would be nice if I could hangout with my friends, maybe meet a girl." He stated. Ever since he became part of the "pack" his life changed. Granted, he was thankful to Scott for saving his life but it changed everything. The other boys looked at him, "We have to make sure other people are safe." Scott remarked. Liam rolled his eyes. They heard noises by the cars. Him and Scott went to check it out while Stiles lagged behind. Liam started to envy him, he was human, he always got to linger behind them.

(The outfit for Farrah is the Darcy one. I couldn't make a new one right now.)

Stiles heard a loud thud and peered over the car in front of him to see Sawyer. He had basically known Sawyer since the beginning of high school but only talked to her a few times due to him being a bit nervous around her. He never knew why he was so nervous around Sawyer but he just always was. Stiles was almost so in thought that he almost missed her question. "I um.... had to get something from my jeep."

Farrah sat on the bench behind the gym' swinging her legs back and forth. She hated these party things. They were all so awkward and someone usually punched someone else during it. It's like they were trying to recreate "10 Things I Hate About You". High school was so not original. Every movie has seemingly created every possible scenario that could happen. It was a cliché.

As if to taunt her mind, she heard a rustling sound come from the other side of the building. She moved to see what it was to see Liam, a boy in her class, emerge from the other side. She didn't really know him much. Ever since he got there, he seemed to only hang around the upperclassmen.

Sawyer eyed him warily, she knew something was up. The wind blew one more and she shivered again. The night was giving her about eerie feeling. She stepped closer to Stiles. "Is everything okay?" She questioned.

Liam heard a girls voice, he tried his best to stay cool. The sight in front of him was horrifying. There lay a lifeless body of a boy just a year or two older than him. It looked as if he was just trying to get into his car and something went wrong. He started backing away, unsure of what to do. The cars no longer sheltered him and he glanced over to see a girl sitting on a bench. He made his way to her, curious to see if she saw our heard anything.

Stiles's breath hitched in the back of his throat for a second. She apparently had really good instincts. Of course there was something wrong but what was he supposed to say? That there were people dying for no apparent reason? "Everything as far as I know is okay," he said trying to steady his voice. Of course, it wasn't a total lie. Everything could be fine at the moment. That or it was terribly wrong but he didn't want to worry her.

Farrah watched as Liam came closer and for a moment, was super glad he was. She had a chill run down her spine and a slight unpleasant smell enter her nostrils. She stood up ready to take a step before he reached her. Farrah wasn't sure what was going on but something told her to go towards the eerie feeling not run from it. Then she noticed a shocked look on Liam's face and him trying to keep his composure which made her speak. "Are you okay?"

Sawyer nodded her head, she could see he didn't want to talk about it. "How have you been? I know we don't talk much." Her voice was kind, she was trying to keep him calm. She knew something weird was going on but she figured she would find out later. She could hear shuffling from behind the car but chose to ignore it.

Liam was taken aback by the girls question. "I'm fine." He said calmly. He glanced around and didn't notice anything else. "How long have you been out here? Did you see anyone else?" He asked. He was concerned. Normally he didn't care what was going on in the world of the weird but this was getting serious.

Stiles sighed, relieved at her question. It lifted a little bit of the weght off of his shoulders. "Yeah, we don't talk much, do we?," he said trying to recall the last time they actually did talk to each other. Usually, he was too nervous to just go up and start a random conversation. "I'm doing okay. What about you?" As soon as the words left his mouth, he got an eerie feeling behind him.

Farrah looked at him warily. Something had to be up by Liam's questions but she didn't know how to answer them. What was she supposed to say? I didn't see anyone but I have a bad feeling and something smells off? She didn't want to sound like a complete weirdo. "I've been out here for about half an hour. Didn't see anyone. Heard some people walking around though."

Sawyer smiled at the boy. Hearing him talk to her with some ease made her forget what was going on. "I'm alright, nothing really interesting has happened since our last encounter." She laughed lightly, hoping to change the mood. Her smile faded when she noticed Scott emerge. His face looked horrified. He tried to get his composure when he saw the girl but failed. "Stiles, stay with Sawyer. I need Liam." He stated his eyes searching for Liam.

Liam listened intently to the girl as she spoke. He noticed her beauty but had to shake away from those thoughts, he needed to be serious. "Thank you. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Liam." He outstretched he hand toward the girl. He was thankful for her being kind and not questioning his behavior.

Stiles smiled at her words. It was good that some people actually had normal lives. If only it were that easy. Of course, as soon as that thought entered his head, Scott came out from behind one of the cars. As soon as he heard Scott's words, he stepped a little closer to Sawyer and awaited her questions.

Farrah put on a small smile before taking his hand. "I'm Farrah." She couldn't shake the eerie feeling she got and of course things got pretty weird the last few months that she hadn't been able to explain. Not even Sawyer knew. "So, what brings you out here? Things continued to be boring in there?"

Sawyer's eyes widened in shock of Scott's words. She glanced up at Stiles and noticed he was closer to her now. "You're a terrible liar." She whispered. She was frightened. She knew something was going on but freaking out about things would only make it worse. "So what's really going on?" She questioned.

Liam smiled at the girl trying to make small talk. "My friends wanted to leave, I was just following them." He stated. It was partially true. Before he could speak again he heard Scott talk to the others. He turned his attention back to Farrah, "I think you may need to come with me." He tried to sound as calm as possible.

Stiles bit his lip for a moment. "Well, I didn't fully lie," he said before looking around to see if there was anything around. He stopped when he heard Sawyer's question. "Not completely sure but it isn't good."

Farrah nodded. He seemed to have the same feeling that she did and she wasn't going to argue with him. "Lead the way," she said before hearing something behind her. "Did you hear that?"

Sawyer smiled at his answer. He was definitely better at talking to her. Then his second response came and her smile faded. She noticed a pair walking towards then and saw her sister. They always managed to end up in the same place. Her heart nearly stopped when she noticed something behind them. It was a dark figure in the distance. She gripped Stiles' arm in fear. "What is that?" Her voice was slightly shaky.

Liam turned and started walking back to the group. He stopped when he heard the same noise as Farrah. He turned around and saw something. He had no idea what it is was but he was ready for it. He motioned for Farrah to stay behind him, wanting to keep her safe.

Stiles looked at her warily for a brief moment. There goes her normal life. He then looked over to Liam who had a girl with him as well which Stiles remembered her to be Sawyer's sister. "I don't know," he said and looked at Scott who's eyes had gone red.

Farrah watched Liam motion her back but something told her not to move. Something inside her told her she could protect herself and for a brief moment, she believed and then she officially labeled herself as crazy. Then, her vision changed.

Sawyer's focus was on her sister. She was worried for her but she knew she could handle her own. There was always something unique about the younger Faith sister. She looked up at Stiles, "Do we stay?" She looked towards Scott and noticed his eyes were red. She shook her head, maybe she was just seeing things.

Liam noticed that Farrah didn't listen to him. He was worried now. What was going through her head? Was she one of them? He turned to see Scott heading their way. "I'm going after it. Keep an eye on her." He stated as his pace quickened towards the figure. Liam didn't want to miss out on this one. He turned to the girl, "We can leave or stay."

Stiles watched Scott leave and turned to Sawyer. Things were probably getting a bit overwhelming and he was ready for the millions of questions but they were sitting ducks outside the school. They weren't really safe anywhere but it was better than just waiting for it to come back. "Let's get out of here, yeah?"

What did Scott mean by keep an eye on her? Maybe they knew something she didnt? Farrah looked at Stiles and back at Liam. She knew Stiles mainly meant Sawyer but if Farrah didn't say anything she probably be dragged with her. There was something here that wanted her to stay. She had no idea what it was. Maybe it was to see what Scott or Liam knew. Maybe it was to see if curiosity killed the cat because who knew what kind on creepy shit was going on. "I'm going to stay with Liam."

Sawyer looked up at the boy and back at her sister. She didn't want to leave her but she knew the boys would keep her safe. She nodded and whispered, "Okay." In that moment everything began to hit her and she knew she would be safer away with Stiles.

Liam was shocked when Farrah had agreed to stay but he wasn't going to protest. He watched as Scott stalked off after the figure. Liam looked down at Farrah, he hoped she was ready for this life changing night. "We can go, let's go a different though. Maybe we can corner it." He stated.

Stiles nodded and took her hand, pulling her through the cars to his jeep. He glanced at her briefly before opening the passenger door before going to the drivers side. As soon as they were in the jeep, he zoomed off. Where? He didn't know but he was getting Sawyer away from it. "So, I'm guessing you have a lot of questions?"

Farrah nodded at Liam, walking the opposite direction as Scott. Whatever this thing was, it had to be bad and she wasn't sure why Liam and Scott thought they could take it. It was all weird and crazy and she didn't know why she was going along with it. It was like taking candy from strangers.

Sawyer sat in Stiles' jeep trying to comprehend what was going on. He spoke and she glanced at him. "I do. I'm just trying to wrap my head around this." She paused and took a deep breath, "What was behind the car? And did that thing in the shadows do it? Is my sister going to okay?" She couldn't control her mouth but finally shut up.

Liam was nervous. He had to make sure he could keep her safe and fight off this non-human monster. "So, Farrah, what made you want to stay?" He was definitely curious. He would've ran if he had the choice.

Stiles took a deep breath. There it was. Her reality and his reality combining. "Your sister is going to be fine. Liam and Scott are both out there. As for that thing, I dont know what it is yet but Im pretty sure that it is killing people," he said hoping this would be easier than explaining the supernatural world to his dad.

Farrah was surprised she wasnt at all afraid. She probably officially lost it. Something inside her also told her that she would be okay with whatever thus was. She looked at Liam when he spoke. " I don't know really. Something just told me to so here I am," she said before hearing a faint growling sound.

Sawyer nodded and breathed deeply as she took in the boy's words. That thing was in deed a thing . Her body shuttered at that thought. She turned her gaze to Stiles. How did he know about it? She frowned, "Stiles, how long have you known?" Her voice was soft when she spoke.

Liam was shocked by Farrah's response. That was a bit odd. What made her be drawn to this? Was she like them? He shook his head. There was no way. He'd be able to smell something. It sounded weird but it was true. "You're different." He said with a smile.
