Kaylynn slung her back over her shoulder grabbing her books then closed her locker. She turned around and slipped into he crowd of the hallways. She was just another face, just another girl in the crowd. No one special... yet. She had a plan for that. Kaylynn looked up as she heard Sam her best friend call out to her. "Kay!" she giggled coming up to her. Kaylynn gave her a quick side hug. "What's up Sam?" she asked. Sam giggled again. She was always going that when she had some gossip to share. Sam was the wild one, the party girl and Kaylynn was her rock. They made a great team really because Sam dragged her out of her shell and took her places. If it wasn't for Sam she would do nothing but study at night. "You'll never guess who was talking about you in Geometry." she said getting all giddy. Kaylynn chuckled. She had never been into the guys around here. They where cute sure but they where all players and she didn't play that game. "Who Sam?" Kaylynn played just to please Sam. "Brett Jones. He was stuck on a problem and just burst out, I wish Kaylynn was here.." Sam used that awful imitation of a guys voice. "And he grew so red I wanted to take a bite of that apple head he had." she said and laughed. Kaylynn chuckled. "He only said it because I am better at in Pre-Calculous and am smarter than him." she said and Sam made that pretend surprised and disappointed face. "Would I give you bad information?" she asked. Kaylynn laughed. "No Sam... Alright so he has a secret crush on me. Thanks for the warning." she said and brook apart from her. "I guess we'll find out in an hour at gym." she said and they separated to go to their different classed. Kaylynn sat in Literature class the entire time just thinking about what Sam said. She had thought she was flying under the radar but it seemed the male population around here was starting to take notice of her. But it was like that every year around homecoming right? Boy where only thinking of who would look best on their arm at the dance. Well she always went alone and hung out with Sam and her date. Often she and Sam would be the ones dancing together with her other girlfriends. For some reason Sam only danced with the boy she brought during the slow dances. Maybe it had to do with Sam not having a date. Despite what others said of Sam she was loyal to a fault. The bell rang and Kaylynn gathered her things and moved back to her locker. She stashed her books and bag and grabbed her gym bag. She headed to the gym where both Sam and Brett would be headed as well. Sam slipped into the girls locker room and started changing smiling as Sam took her place beside her. Sam babbled on about things as they put their hair up. She kept talking as they walked out to the gym towards the bleachers as usual.
Royce walked through the halls looking over the majority of the kids around him. He had grown another foot in the last 3 months. He was looking forward to his Junior year though. It meant that he would get to go to Prom himself and take someone other than being brought by one of the upperclassmen girls. He was minding his own business as Daniel came shoving though the crowd with his broad shoulders. He was shorter than Royce now. Last year Royce had gone out on a few dates with Daniel's girl. It wasn't his fault the girl was such a slut but none the less Royce knew how this was going to play out. The chest heavy boy came barreling towards him. "Royce!" he growled. And stopped in front of him. Royce dropped his bag kicking it to the side. "Daniel." he said calmly. He knew how this worked. If Daniel got one hit in then it was self defense and he wouldn't get suspended just detention. Royce watched as the crowded hall suddenly moved around them and some people stopped to watch. "You bastard! You broke her!" he yelled. Royce smirked and shrugged. "I don't know who you're talking about." he said seeing the boy turn bright red with anger. "You can't hurt Gina and get away with it like this. You... you..." he grew angrier and Royce smiled. "Gina who?" he asked hearing a few laughs from behind him. Daniel puffed up his chest. "That's it you're dead!" he said and took a swing as Royce. But because of their height difference it hardly touched his face. Daniel went to swing again and Royce stopped and tackled the boy to the ground and released his rage on the boy. He was obviously winning the fight though the blow to the face was a surprise. He stumbled off Daniel and shook his head as Daniel charged. Royce side stepped and turned as Daniel came back and tackled him this time. It was perfect timing as a teacher came up and Royce put his hands up to block the blow as Daniel was dragged off of him. They where escorted to the office. Daniel went in first to the principle while Royce sat on the stupid bench waiting.

(Sorry if it's short, I'm on my cell right now.)

Michael was glad to start his senior year off well, the coach had named him captain of the football team. As the defending state champions, he had a lot on his shoulders. He was the one who had to lead this team, and if they didn't win it all again, he just knew he would be a laughing stock of the school. That would in turn lose his ability to get with girls as quickly as he'd like. But Michael was confident in his ability, and the teams. Michael knew if they won as back to back champions he would certainly get the girls again. The team had a game today, so he was wearing his jersey to school. His next class was gym class, and he took it seriously, a bit too seriously at times. As he entered the locker room Michael changed into his PE clothes, which consisted of basketball shorts, and a wife beater tee shirt. There were quite a few jocks in the class, which made it hell for the few that weren't. Michael walked out into the gym, looking over the classmates he had. He took notice of a girl that was across the gym, and a smirk spread across his face. Shes cute, why not? Would make a good homecoming date. He thought to himself. Michael made his way across the gym, standing a few feet away from Kaylynn. One of his teammates, Braydon, came over and fist bumped Michael. The pair talked for a few moments before Michael leaned over and whispered something to Braydon about the girl he was trying to get with this time. The class started, and the class was separated into two for a game of capture the flag. Michael was on the same team as Kaylynn which excited him. The game went on between the teams, mostly the jocks trying. Michael's team only needed one more flag to win, and he wanted to show off and impress the girl. Michael sprinted across the gym, diving to grab the flag, he slid into the wall and got up running back to their side, as the other jocks were trying to catch him. Being the show off he was before crossing their side with a back flip. He looked across at Braydon, on the other team. "Sucks to suck." He said and snickered, throwing the flag at him. Micheal looked over at Kaylynn and winked.

Bailey was heading towards her pre-calc class when she got sucked into a crowd in the hallway. She wasn't sure what was going on but as she fought through the crowd to see what was so important she saw a fight between two upperclassmen. She was the one who had fought again through the crowd again to go and find a teacher. She heard the boys talk about a girl, and thought it was a stupid fight. Once she returned the teacher broke up their fight and brought all three to the principals office. Bailey wasn't sure why she was being brought, she hadn't done anything wrong, she was the one who tried to stop it, while everyone else cheered on the fight. As Daniel went in with the principal, Bailey sat out besides Royce. She looked across at him, raising an eyebrow. "What was that about, Mr. Tough guy?" She asked with a small laugh. Bailey wasn't one to get involved in these sorts of things, but she figured if she was stuck here she could make conversation. Bailey was the daughter of the local farmer, Beau Foster, they owned a very large piece of land, grew many crops, and owned a series of cows, pigs, horses, and other animals. They were the ones that supplied the locals farmers market almost fully. She was a country girl, and everyone knew it, she wasn't like the other girls who were interested in fashion or anything like that. She preferred working on the farm, riding her horses, or playing soccer, she was the only girl on the guys team, and she was a starter.

Kaylynn was having fun playing the capture the flag game. It was fun to strategize and since Sam was on the other team she faced off against her friend often which usually need in a laugh. They where winning and she knew why. It was because half the boys on the other team where afraid of Micheal McKinney and the other half of the guys where on his football team. She watched as Micheal stupidly ran into the crowd around the flag and stitch it up. She sat back watching as those that where on his football team assisted him and Michel came back strutting his stuff. He threw the flag at a friend of his and she shook her head. She was amazed anyone would make that unsportsman like boy a caption of anything. Kaylynn raised an eyebrow as he winked at her. Her first reaction was rolling her eyes, then she frowned and shook her head. That was all she needed was an incorrigible guy to be on her. And she knew all about Micheal McKinney. Who didn't know all about him. He had roomers that turned into legends and everyone talked about him including Sam who came over to her with a small squeal. "Did Micheal just wink at you?" she asked and Kaylynn shrugged. They started to walk towards the locker rooms. "Please Sam tell me you are not in his fan club." she said seriously looking at Sam. Sam shrugged grinning stupidly. "I wouldn't say no if he wanted to hang out." she said and Kaylyn stopped and took her hand pulling her back. That guy was not someone you hung out with. He liked to sleep with girls and toss them away when they got old. Dating was a sport for him and one he believed he could always win. "Sam he is dangerous. Don't go there with him okay? Please for me?" she pleaded. Sam sighed and looked at Kaylynn. She looked down and nodded. Kaylynn hugged her and glared over her shoulder at Micheal. She would not loose her friend to that pompous boy. Kaylynn pulled back and they went into the locker room.
Kaylynn went to her locker getting changed and Sam went to hers changing as well. They headed out of the locker room coughing a little at the perfume. There was something heavy sitting in Kaylynn's gut and she didn't like it. If Micheal so much as looked at Sam she was going to have words with him. And Kaylynn knew somewhere that he was going to. She knew this because when he tried to make a move on her and she said no, everyone knew she and Sam where best friends. Kaylynn didn't trust Micheal not to try to get to Sam to get to her and she would loose her friend over it. She was deep in thought and she also knew that Micheal was in her next class too. She walked with Sam out into he gym.
Royce looked at the girl wondering why she was here. He sighed. "Daniel didn't like me hanging out his girl last year for a few days." he shrugged. "Guess he can't stand up to the pressure. Besides I didn't start anything I was simply protecting myself." he smirked. "What are you here for?" he asked looking down at her knowingly. He knew she wasn't the girl they where fighting about so she had to have some part in it. His guess was she was a snitch. That was alight though it had worked to his favor. Royce smiled at her looking over her rough exterior. She was cute in that country jagged kind of way. If he was into the entire farming hing he might have really liked her. No he was the city kind of guy. She was not the polished kind of girl he was use to but the longer he looked at her the more was was thinking that she would polish up nicely and would be a good surprise date to bring to the homecoming. He chuckled as he thought of it but decided against it. There where other girls out there that would be more shocking to clean up. So it seemed that it would be in his best interest to look for someone a little more loose. He didn't want to get blocked with the chastity panties on this girl. Maybe another time. He leaned back against the bench. Still there was something about her he could just tell she was kidding and he wondered what it was. Suddenly he knew that she was going to consume his thoughts until he found out her secrets. He liked secrets. He liked them more than money because money lost interest but secrets never did and people went a long way to hind them.

Michael and Braydon both headed to the locker room together, talking quietly to each other. Michael was the guy who was half of the school as well as out about anything. But he liked to have his privacy in his conversations, it was just a thing that he had. "You know anything about that girl, Kaylynn something." He asked, and Braydon glanced over at the girls who were walking in to their locker room, then raised an eyebrow at his friend. "A little man. Not much. You can't get in her pants." Braydon said with a laugh, rolling his eyes at Michael. Michael shook his head. "Oh shut up, don't doubt me. I'll get her to go to homecoming with me. I'd put my money on it." He said and punched his friend in the shoulder with a laugh. The guys had changed back into their normals clothing, then began to exit the locker room. As the classes waited for the bell to ring to dismiss them to their next class Michael had Braydon come over to Sam and Kaylynn with him. "Hey there." Michael said with a stupid grin on his face, Bradyon waving at Sam and giving her a grin too. "Hello ladies, how are you today?" Braydon asked and leaned up against the wall besides them, Michael stayed in front of the girls and changed slightly, giving a polite smile. "Michael, michael McKinney." He said and looked over Kaylynn for a moment. "Are you going to the homecoming festivities this weekend? The game should be good." He commented and glanced at Braydon who nodded in agreement.

Bailey raised an eyebrow at his comment about Daniel, shaking her hair and chuckling. "That's what you all say, all you guys that are so tough and womanizers. That you didn't actually do anything, and that its all their fault somehow, that they're crazy bitches." She said and rolled her eyes. Bailey knew all about the guys like him, using girls and dropping them. She wouldn't have any of it. She was called a prude plenty because she had never 'put out' with the boys she did date, but she simply didn't want to have sex because she wanted it to be with someone special. She ignored his question as to why she was here, just leaning back into her seat as she looked over at him again, a small side glance. She couldn't help but notice he was attractive. But she didn't want to get involved with someone who would just leave when she wouldn't have sex with him. But an idea popped in her head. Maybe she would get with him, however it wouldn't be fun for him when he went through what he put girls through.

Kaylynn was talking with Sam as they were walking over to the benches when Micheal and his wing man stepped in their way. She pulled her gym bag up her shoulder more as she listened to Micheal trying to pick her up. she tried so hard not to snicker as he said his name as if he didn't know that everyone already knew him but she wasn't going to stroke his big head anymore by admitting she already knew him. Sam giggled her eyes growing glossy with excitement. "Hi Braydon." She said in her sing song voice. Kaylynn wanted to groan as he talked about the football match coming up and she knew now she had to go to keep Micheal away from Sam. "I was thinking about it." she said and shrugged. "Not really my scene." she said and Sam looked at her confused. She had already asked Kaylynn to go with her but she had said no because she didn't like football. It didn't make sense to her in the slightest. Sam beamed glad Kaylynn was coming though. She knew her friend to well and it seemed if Micheal was going to be around Sam then Kaylynn was planning to be there. Kaylynn looked at Sam seeing the devious plans in her eyes and Kaylynn only wanted to shrink more but she stood her ground and looked back at Micheal. "Tough Sam is dragging me along." she said so that Micheal didn't thinks he was going for him because she wasn't. Sam giggled. "I take you everywhere with me." she said and Kaylynn chuckled. "Yes you do." she said and looked at Braydon. He seemed nice enough. Maybe she could play the same game Micheal was but then she was worried that Sam might actually want to go out with Braydon. "So Braydon I was wondering if you hat Brett's phone number." she said suddenly grateful Sam had told her about Brett. He was a Soccer player and was a pretty decent guy by all accounts. "You and he use to be friends right?" she asked remembering nothing of the sorts but was aiming to get Micheal on a cold trail. Sam looked at her again shocked and excited. Kaylynn smiled and looked at the doors as the bell rang for their next class. "Well get back to me on that wont you?" she touched his arm as she brushed past them moving straight through the middle of them not even caring that her arm brushed Micheal's. She grinned and walked out of the gym with Sam and they laughed. Sam linked her arm with Kaylynn's. "What was that Kay? You making a play for Brett?" she asked. Kaylynn smiled and shrugged. "I might. It would be better then getting played." she said and chuckled. "That was pretty smooth though wasn't it..." she chuckled. Sam shook her head shocked and they hugged before Sam headed down the hall to her own locker. Kaylynn went down the other way to her own locker and stuffed her gym back inside. She got her regular bag and swung that over her shoulder then grabbed her since books. she would be surprised if Micheal didn't try to get back at her during Science class. She walked in and took her seat in the middle by the window getting her things out.
Royce chuckled. "Sure say what you like but that's my story in this building. I'm Royce by the way and I don't always look like this." he said knowing knowing a part of his face was probably swelling by now. He also knew that if they where talking about this off school campus he would say he antagonized Daniel and kicked his ass then got away with it. Daniel came out looking sad and he knew he got suspended at least a day or two. His mom came rushing in and dragged him away. Royce stood as his name was called. "See ya around." he said and gave her a wink. Royce headed into he principles office and sat down in the chair as he was instructed after the door was closed. As expected he got a long talk and a detention slip for a couple days but nothing to bad. "And Royce send in Bailey." the principle said and Royce came out and smiled. "You're up Bailey... Anyone ever call you Bay?" he asked and chuckled. "Kinda sound like babe." he said and left the door open for her. He then left the office and hurried to his next class. He was looking forward to seeing Bailey around again. He would have to ask around about her. His track buddies should know more. If not he was sure they could find out. Royce got into class before the bell with time to spare and sat down next to Brett one of his friends. "Hey Brett you know anything about a Bailey... ya know the country chick." he said and shrugged almost wishing he got a last name. Brett shrugged. "Yeah man she's tough stuff. She's on my soccer team, a starter." he said and ran a hand through his hair. "I wouldn't be messing with her Royce." he said and looked around as if she might be around. "She works on her dad's farm, makes her tougher than most girls." he said and Royce chuckled and shrugged. "Thanks for the warning Brett but every girl has a soft spot." he said knowing it was just a matter of finding it. "You happen to know her best friend?" he asked knowing he could probably get a lot more out of her then Bailey. Brett shrugged. "Naw man I didn't pay attention." he said and looked over as Braydon walked in and started talking to him about Kaylynn. "She asked about me?" he asked blushing again. At this point Royce tuned out and the bell rang so the class went quiet.

Michael watched the girls as they spoke, taking in the details of Kaylynn as he watched her. Michael liked to watch girls and take in the details he could for just watching, that was how he got into girls heads, by stealing their secrets they never knew they gave him. He allowed Braydon to do the talking as he watched her. Michael realized how protective the two friends were of each other, that was always hard with girls. The more protective the best friend the harder to get with one. Braydon raised an eyebrow when asked about Brett. "Yea." He said and shrugged his shoulders. "But I don't know it by heart. Michael frowned slightly at the question, then watched as Kaylynn and Sam walked away, smirking slightly when she brushed against his arm. She wanted to play games? He was a player so he would gladly play his game. Michael followed them to their next class. He took the seat next to Kaylynnon purpose, taking out a notebook which he was doodling in, occasionally glancing at her. Michael looked over at her before the bell rang. "What do you do without your side kick around?" He asked and smiled at her.

Bailey rolled her eyes as he asked about people calling her Bay. "Nope." She said and chuckled, standing up so she was besides him. "But who knows maybe I'll let you." She said with a wink and walked into the principals office. She explained from her point of view, and that was the only involvement she had. With that the principal allowed her to leave. She headed off to her next class, her mind wandering off to Royce, which puzzled her. She didn't really care for him, just wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine, so she wasn't sure why she was thinking of him. After forcing herself to stop thinking about Royce she thought about the homecoming game which would happen this weekend. Last year she scored the winning goal in OT, Bailey thought it would be fun to repeat that. Her ex boyfriend played for their rival school, and to rub it in his face would be wonderful. As class ended for the day Bailey headed to the locker room and changed into short shorts, and a tank top. The soccer team had practice right after school, and she headed down to the field for their practice, she was just as tough as they guys she played. Taking the hits and throwing them out too in games. Her team was like a group of brothers to her, they knew she could handle her own, but they also didn't put up with guys from other teams giving her shit on the field.

Kaylynn was distracted all through science class with Micheal right beside her then it was time for group work from their book and she turned to him and the first thing out of his mouth made her want to leave. "You've got it wrong. Sam is no one's sidekick." she said and looked back down at her book. "Question three..." she read it out loud and then started to flip through the pages. "What do you think Micheal?" she asked. She was thinking maybe it would be a good idea for her to stay after school and find Brett. Sam said he was on the soccer team. Now Soccer was something she could really get into. Plus it sounded like they where a nice team since they did have a girl on the team. She was the talk of the school since the tryouts. Kaylynn smiled thinking of watching some soccer. She use to play when she was young but then she found other things interesting. Things that weren't sports. Kaylynn wrote down her answer on her paper not waiting for Micheal to answer the question she asked. There was no point when he rather sit and try to get into her mind anyways. It seems her touching his friend and asking about another guy hadn't deterred him. It really wasn't great news but atlas she had a game plan. The bell finally rung and she hopped up and got her things out of her locker and went to find Sam. Sam would know where to find Brett and if she didn't she would know who would be able too. Kaylynn was walking down the hall hoping to get away from Micheal but she was sure that he wasn't going to give up so easily.
Brett ran out to the field and met up with Bailey. "Hey..." he said in creating. "How did you get in Royce's radar?" he asked. "He was asking about you today." he said as they started their warmup. They where training early this year and he was excited about the pre games. The soccer season didn't officially start till January though.
Royce was off until Spring for Track and he was only doing light jogs as workouts but today he decided he needed to do something a little different then going to the arcade and hanging out with his friends. Royce knew Brett had soccer practice so he was guessing so did Bailey. He smiled as he headed out towards the fields. Maybe this wouldn't be a complete waist of time. Sure Bailey didn't send off his radars and make him feel funny inside but there was something about her that he wanted to know. So he drove out to the field and parked his car by the bench pulling out his notebook to sketch as he waited. He wondered how he was going to approach this with Bailey. All he could remember at this point was her quick remark and a wink that made him thinking of nothing but her lips.

Michael watched Kaylynn through the class, when they were given group work from the book he was careful with watching her. "I didn't mean to offend, you both seem extremely close, which is why." He said and shrugged his shoulders, looking over the questions they had to do. It wasn't much, nor was it hard so he was sure he could finish. Michael answered three as she was writing it down, rolling his eyes slightly. When the final bell rang he gathered up his things and followed her out of the classroom, keeping up and deciding to try and continue the conversation. "So, Kaylynn, what are you doing tomorrow night?" He asked and raised an eyebrow. He knew she would be a tough nut to crack, hell he might not even get to. But this game would be fun. The thought of their little game made him smirk with satisfaction.

Bailey was going through warm ups with Brett as her partner, when he mentioned Royce she chuckled and rolled her eyes. "He was in a fight, and I saw, so I was just telling my side of the story. Don't worry. I can hold my own." She said as they moved to shooting drills, nailing a ball over the goalies head. She went to the back of the line and when Brett returned she smirked a bit. "I have a plan, let's play the player." She said and laughed. "You think he could take advantage of me?" She said and glanced over at the car parked by their bench. She didn't know it was Royce, but she found it odd nonetheless. "We have another creepy school janitor." She commented and then went again to shoot, this time the ball rattled off the bar into the net again, she got a few high fives from the rest of them. That was one thing that got Bailey her spot, she had a very hard and accurate shot. Their coach gave them a water break and she jogged over to the bench, grabbing a water bottle, she tried to get a look at Royce but didn't have the time before they had to practice again

Kaylynn sighed as he followed her. She closed her locker and looked up at him. "I haven't decided yet. Sam usually has the plan." she said and shouldered her bag. "Besides Micheal I am trying to find Brett... So unless you can help me with that then..." she shrugged. "You know." she said and saw Sam walk up to her. This game was already tiring but she didn't want to get involved with these boys any of them but it seemed that at some point she was going to have to make a decision. Since Kaylynn wasn't planing on anything serious perhaps it would be best to let Micheal win for a moment then drop him since she didn't want to get Brett's hopes up. But she was trying to avoid this game with Micheal. And since Brett was in her first period class she could talk to him about what was going on and tell him that she was flattered but she wasn't looking for a boyfriend. Then again maybe he just wanted a homecoming date. It was possible he only wanted that and nothing more. Sam came over and Kaylynn smiled. "Hey." she said. And Sam giggled. "Hey yourself." she said and looked at Micheal. "Hi Micheal." she said sweetly and Kaylynn shook her head but Sam continued. "Where's Braydon?" she asked and Kaylynn knew that Sam liked Braydon. Out of all the boys why did she pick the one that was best friends with Micheal McKinney.
Brett chuckled. "You're a bad ass Bailey you could handle anything you wanted to but boys are still jerks." he said. Bailey was like the little sister of the entire team. They all respected her and looked out for her and Brett just didn't want to see her get hurt because of some boy like Royce. "I'm just saying be careful and don't get in over your head. We really don't like threatening other guys not to hurt you cause then we got to back it up." he said and chuckled.
Royce had his window down but since it was fall the cool air was already starting to nip the air. He finished his sketch and put it away. He got out of his car and leaned against the hood watching her run back to the field to continue practicing. He wondered why she did the team with he guys instead of a girls team. It was strange to him a little bit. Perhaps she got a long better with guys. That would make what Brett her best friend? That made it hard to use an angel on her. She had a team backing her up and he could tell they all respected her. He ran his hand through his hair again and then moved over to the bleachers thinking about how to approach this.

Michael followed along all the any to her locker. "Well I can tell you he is in practice, soccer has it right after school, and football has it later one." He commented looking up when he heard Sam approach, give a nod and a wave as his hello. "Braydon had a dentists appointment so he left school early, he'll be back for our practice though." He said, asserting for Sam, as he was the one who truly knew where his best friend was. Michael glanced down between the two girls and an idea popped in his head. "Since you said she usually makes the plans I guess I'll ask Sam." He said and chuckled, looking at Sam. "How would you and Kaylynn like to go on a double date with Braydon and I. We could go bowling then out to the diner afterwards." He suggested and hefted the backpack up onto his shoulder again as he looked down between the two.

Bailey nodded and smiled up at Brett, patting him hard on the shoulder. "I know I know." She said and smiled at Brett, glancing over the drill course they would have to be doing. "I know you just want to protect me, however, I think it would be pretty fun to watch you guys kick someone's ass." She commented with a wink. As they went through the course one by one, it was soon Bailey's turn. She glanced over her shoulder to give Brett a wink when she saw Royce at his car, watching them practice. She scrunched up her noise and was confused as to why he was spending any time on her. She tried to go through the coarse as best as she could, but he had gotten in her head, so she was messed up. At the end of the course she frustratedly kicked a ball across the field towards the bench, mumbling something to herself. However the rest of practice was much better. At the end she went to the bench, throwing a towel over her shoulder and wiping her sweat. She gathered up her items and had a few chats with the guys before heading towards her truck, by her self.

Kaylynn was surprised when he actually helped her in finding Brett. She felt a small wave of victory when Sam came over but then suddenly it was dashed. Sam stood there smirking at the idea of making the plans for Kaylynn if that where true she would have had her much more popular before now. But then Micheal spoke and Kaylynn gasped a little as he said the word date. Kaylynn looked at her with eyes that said Don't you dare. Sam chuckled and smiled after the shock stopped rolling. Her on a double date with her best friend and one of the cutest boys in school? "Just one second." she said and pulled Kaylynn's arm and dragged her across the hallway. "Please Kay please pretty please..." she begged. "Just this once. Just for me?" she pleaded. Kaylynn glared back over at Micheal then looked back at Sam. "Sam he's using your attraction to Braydon to get to me. Bowling and dinner is half the night. He will spend all that time trying to get me to date him, go to homecoming and to get me to you know... No this is a bad idea." Sam pouted and Kaylynn sighed. "Fine! But just bowling. And no sneaking off. I will not be alone with him." she hissed. Sam squealed and hugged Kaylynn. She took her hand pulling her over to Micheal. "Only bowling." She said and took out a pen and paper and handed her number to him. "Have Braydon text me. You two can pick us up at my place. Just name the day." she said and Kaylynn glared at her again. She was not pleased that he won this round. Kaylynn had to talk to Brett now. "Sam you take care of this. I have to catch up with Brett." she said and jogged away. Sam Smiled at Micheal as they finished up the details. Kaylynn made it out to the field as their practice was ending. "Brett!" she called. She knew Braydon probably had no idea he was going on a date with Sam yet but he better be nice. She frowned at Brett came running over. "Hey Kaylynn." he said smiling. She blushed softly. "Hey ummm. I just wanted to clear some things up. I am really flattered that you would think of me to help you out on a math problem..." he turned so red and she thought it was cute. She touched his arm and then let her hand drop again. "But I really am not looking for a boyfriend and I got so much on my plate with Micheal trying to... well the man doesn't know how to take a no." she said and Brett chuckled rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah I know. It's alright. Thanks Kaylynn for being cool." he said and she smiled. "It would be nice to hang out sometime though Brett. You're really nice." she said and wrote down her phone number and gave it to him. "Don't be a stranger." she said and smiled backing up. He nodded and looked at her to the paper then back to his team. "See ya around and Kaylynn if you ever need any help with your Micheal problem just let me know." he said and Kaylynn chuckled. "Thanks Brett.... Oh and call me Kay." she said and then turned jogging back into he school needing to find Sam once more so they could go home since Sam drove this morning.
Royce smiled as he saw that he affected Bailey. It wasn't much but at least he flustered her wings the way she had flustered his. He grinned and jogged over towards her ashamed to her truck. "Hey Bailey." he called and caught up with her. "You looked good out there." he said and walked with her. Not that he would know what good really looked like anyways. But her team seemed to think she was good. "So what you up to now?" he asked and looked her over. She looked even prettier all messed up and looking a little winded. It sunk into his gut the way she looked. He swallowed and smirked. So there where some girls that looked better after a little work out then others. He chuckled quietly at his thoughts and leaned against her truck door as they got there not wanting her to leave just yet. "After all tomorrow is Friday." he said and smiled. He wasn't going to ask her to go out just yet. He didn't know nearly enough but he still had to show interest. It wasn't that hard she was a mystery just waiting to be opened and solved and he loved mysteries. "Come on Bay don't leave me int he dark like this." he said chuckling as she shooed him away from her truck in her own way. He got off her truck and stuck his hands in his back pockets.

Michael saw the glare that Kaylynn shot at Sam and he thought it was hilarious, he held his laughs inside until the pair went across the hall to discuss the plans. This is harder than I though. But she is really cute, I guess it could be worth it if this works out in the end. But I don't want to be kept waiting, for nothing to happen. She seems to like Brett, maybe I should keep an eye on that. He mentally noted to himself. When the pair came back over and agreed to bowling Michael grinned over the fact that he won this round. "That's fine, it sounds great." He said and graciously took the phone number from Sam, looking it over for a moment before he shoved it into his pocket. "Alright, I'll have Bray set it all up." He said and lashed a grin, running his hand over his facial hair for a moment. When Kaylynn dismissed herself he nodded and smiled at her, sincerely for the first time since he had started bothering her. "Have fun, stay safe sweetheart." He called after her. After he and Sam had finished the plans Michael went to the locker room to change. He saw Braydon and went up to him, smacking him on the ass with a towel and snickering. "We have a double date with Sam and Kaylynn. I need you to keep her distracted so I can try and make Kaylynn like me, okay?" Braydon nodded and grinned, he thought Sam was really cute and would enjoy the date with her, maybe it could work out for more for him. The guys headed out to the football field for practice.

When Bailey saw Royce come over to hyper truck after practice she sighed, rolling her eyes slightly as she threw her soccer bag into the back of the pick up. "I'm just heading home." She commented and watched him as he blocked her way from her truck, thus blocking her from leaving. When he called her Bay she had to keep herself from physically vomiting. "I don't have plans for Saturday, but I have to help my dad with our pregnant cow Sunday, she's supposed to give birth." Bailey said and watched for his reaction, not many guys enjoyed hearing her talk about helping birth a calf. But he still didnt budge. When Royce got off her trucks she got into the drivers seat and started the truck, tho he was still there. She sighed and grabbed s piece of paper and pencil quickly, scrawling her number down. "Here, if I give you my number will you allow me to go home?" She asked, smiling s bit at her thoughts as well. This kid doesn't know what he is in for. Don't play games with me kid, because I'm a sore loser. So I will win. she thought to herself

Sam meet her before she even reached the building. She came out wither bag and smiled as they met. "You know I love you." she said and Kaylynn chuckled. "Yeah yeah." she said and watched as the soccer team and football team switched. Brett walked past Micheal and it looked like he said something like watch your step. Kaylynn couldn't hear from where they where but it seemed to put the guys on edge luckily they all made it without any kind of fighting. She sighed and shook her head. "You know Brett is really nice." she said and smiled and Sam grinned. "Damn what happened to you over summer? You grew an extra cup size and another couple inches and bam every guy wants to be with Kaylynn." Sam teased and Kaylynn shoot her a look. Sam laughed. "Come on Kay you know I am playing with you." she said and hugged her friend. "Can we go now Sam?" she asked and Sam smiled. "Just one minute." She said and went closer to the field. "Good luck Braydon!" she yelled waving then turned and headed back to Kaylynn red as a beet. Sam laughed and hugged her friend as they walked back towards the parking lot. Kaylynn could only guess that they boys would be making fun of Braydon right now. Kaylynn didn't want to smash Sam's hopes but the fact was that Braydon probably only just found out about the double date. Kaylynn walked to her friend's car and got in with her and they headed to Sam's house. Kaylynn was hardly ever home and it wasn't hard to figure out why with a single working mom. There was never anyone home, well almost never. Kaylynn and sam sat on her bed doing homework while Kaylynn tried hard not to think or talk about Micheal but all she wanted to do was nag about what a pain in the ass he was.
Royce smirked listening to her talk about the cow. That was strange but he wasn't put off by it in the slightest. He was having a great time bothering her though. He spoke to her as she started up her truck. "I had a pregnant cat once. But we just took it to the vet." he said and shrugged smiling as she said she would give him her number. "Sure if you say you'll pick up when I call." He said and took the number she gave him. He smirked and then stood back. "Have a good day now." he called out after her. He smiled and watched her go before he turned and headed back to his car. The football team was starting not heir practice now. He shook his head and got in his truck and drove home. He arrived to the beautiful big house and got out going in and up to his room. He had to go out tonight because staying in they place was not going to do anything but drive him nuts. Royce smirked and picked up his cell calling one of his friends as he went back down tot he kitchen to grab some food.

Michael snarled at Brett when he made a comment, commenting straight back. "Yea don't wanna step in shit like you." He said and glanced over at Braydon who looked just as ready to kick someone's ass. Braydon was a spit fire, and extremely loyal, he would die for his friends and that often meant he and Michael were involved in all fights together. They both moved on however and went straight to practicing. Michaelworked hard, as did Braydon. During their breaks Michael was explaining the plans to Braydon, who readily agreed to it all. After practice was over Bradyon headed to Michaels house with him, on the ride there he texted Sam. "Hey cutie, how does Saturday night sound for bowling? :)" Michaal punched Braydon and laughed at the message,. "You're a wuss." He said as he pulled into the driveway and the pair headed inside, raising the kitchen of all the snacks. They headed upstairs hoping to continue the conversation with the girls.

Bailey was surprised that he wasn't put off by the cow story, and smiled slightly at the mention of his cat. "I'll answer I'll answer now shoo!" She said playfully. Bailey pulled out of her parking spot, giving Royce a small wave as she headed towards the farm. It was a 20 minute drive, her family lived on the edge of town with no one around them, owning all the land around them. She set her phones ringer on so she would hear when Royce called, not understanding why she cared so much about it. She sent a text to Brett. "Hey you, be nice to that football player, okay? I don't need my winger getting hurt and not playing." She sent, Bailey felt as times she had to keep Brett in line to keep him safe. Bailey found her father outside feeding the horses and decided to help by feeding the pigs.

Sam squealed when her phone went off. She sighed hearing it from all the way down stairs where she was making snacks. She took he plate upstairs. "You're busy Saturday night." she said and Kaylynn sighed. "Weren't we support to go to Jenna's party Saturday?" she asked and Sam shrugged. "We can do that afterwards." she said and Kaylynn shook her head. "Uh-uh no way you have to pick one." she said and Sam sighed. "Alright..." she said and sent a text back. Sounds great. I'm all yours. Kay agrees too. Sam sent and smirked. "There we're going on dates." she said and Kaylynn sighed and set the foo down before laying back. "You so owe me." she said and Sam giggled. "I know." she said and popped the pizza roll into her mouth. She grinned and then went onto he next problem in their homework. "He called me cutie." she muttered and Kaylynn chuckled. "Of course he did. You're adorable and compact sized." she teased and Sam giggled more. Kaylynn sat up and finish her homework then pushed her books away. She was thinking about that last smiled Micheal gave to her. It was a real smile not one of his stupid smiles. She wondered what that was even for. He liked to win but what he didn't know was that he had met his match.
Royce smiled and chuckled remembering Bailey shoo him away. But he also remembered the way she wrinkled her nose at how he nicknamed her. It was obvious she was trying to play the player but he was not just a player but a pro. He finished his food and went out to the local hot spot for people to hang out. He joined the circle and looked at his phone that he had already put Bailey's number into. He was thinking he would call her after most people had dinner so that he could have her undivided attention. He might even catch her coming out of the shower and getting ready for bed. With that plan in mind he enjoyed himself flirting with a few girls, mostly seniors that didn't take him so serious and just had fun with it. He might have been a player but he only played one game at a time.

Michael grinned at the agreement of the date, and so did Braydon. However Bradyon his his friend. "Don't fuck this up for me, got it?" He threatens and gave Michael as bad a glare as he could, however Michael just rolled his eyes at Braydon. Michael knew Braydon too well at times. "Don't worry, knucklehead. I'm sticking to my stuff, I won't get involved in yours at all. Go for the girl. However I can't promise anything if Kaylynn doesn't like me another Sam still liking you." He said shrugged his shoulders, popping open a bag of chips as he dug into them. Anytime that works best for you two? Braydon texted back and ate some of Michaels chips. They set up a game of football on Michaels Xbox. They played for about two hours before Michael went to bring Bradyon home.

Bailey and her father fed the animals, as well as groomed the animals. She enjoyed the animals. Her father told her he was going inside and sould be making dinner, so she had to be in soon. Bailey reassured him she would be, but just wanted some time with her horse. Bailey always had a great connection with her horse, Oreo. She had gotten him when she was three, he was black and white, hence the name. She went into the barn, pulling a saddle off the wall she got Oreo out of his stable and attached the saddle, then climbed on him herself. She moved her phone into her breast pocket as she began to ride Oreo around the land. "Hey Oreo. How is my boy?" She asked, the horse whinnying in response. "You know. There's this guy who started talking to me. He's a player though. But I have a plan, Oreo. I'm going to give him a taste of his own medicine." She said with a laugh. Bailey spies to the horse for about twenty. I mutes before bringing him back to his stable and hanging the saddle up, she then headed inside and had dinner with her parents. After dinner Bailey headed into the shower.

Sam picked up her phone and talked with Kaylynn about the best time. "I don't care Kaylynn said. "I just have to be home by 11:30." she said. It was her mom's rule on Saturdays because on Sunday mornings she went to spend a couple hours with her dad. Usually they went to the lake and went hiking or something like that. It was always nice but a little weird. He had a family of his own with two kids. It always made talking a little hard because she still wasn't okay with the situation. Sam nodded in understanding. How about 7? She sent and they turned on the music and sang along since their homework was done. Kaylynn grinned enjoying this time with her best friend. She would stay for dinner then go home and get some sleep. But until then she could pretend like there wasn't a care in the world. It wasn't long until Sam's mom came in. "Dinner's ready girls." she said and Kaylynn stood. "Race you." she said and they raced down the stairs passing Sam's mom and when Kaylynn made it into her chair she laughed like crazy. "I win!" she said and Sam laughed too. "Cheater." she teased and Kaylynn pretended to look offended. They sat and talked with Sam's parents over dinner and it was times like this that Kaylynn felt like she belonged somewhere.
Royce got home from he cafe where he had been eating with a group of girls and Tack, who hated his real name Alfred. Royce couldn't blame him though. It had been a fun time and now he showered and changed into his pajama pants. He laid back in his bed picking up his phone and calling Bailey. He smirked listening to the ringing of the phone waiting for her to pick up. He stretched out relaxing in his bed as he heard the phone pick up. "Hey Bay." he teased liking how it sounded on his tongue despite if she liked it or not. If his plan worked she would start to like it and then they could move on from there. He had a feeling this was not going to be a quick game with her though yet somehow he was okay with that. He was surprised he already had her number though. He was guessing it had something to do with her thoughts of playing him. That wouldn't last long. It took skill to be in this game.

Braydon sent back a simple Okay. He and Michael messed around with each other as Michael brough him home. He always dropped Bradyon off but stayed until he was inside before leaving. Once Braydon was home and inside Michael made his way home. Once home he decided just to head to bed, he wanted to spend the day tomorrow relaxing and getting ready for his date with Kaylynn. Michael stripped to his boxers and laid down, staring up at the ceiling. He couldn't help but think about Kaylynn as he was laying there in bed. He was weirdly attracted to her, simply because she wanted to play this game with him, and he didn't like it one bit. He knew feelings were what lost you the game, so he had to quit them.

Bailey had just gotten out of the shower and was relaxing in bed watching TV when Royce called. She decided to wait a few seconds before answering, when she did and heard him call her Bay again she rolled her eyes. "Hey Royce." She said and bit her lip, she wasn't actually sure what she would be doing. Or what to talk about with him. She knew she just had to stick through this and it would work out in the end. "I see you've just been dying to talk to me." She teased with a smile on her face. "So cut to the chase tough guy, are you gonna ask me to the homecoming dance or what?"
