@ Can You Fix My Heart
Mackenzie was in a bit of a rut, not in his own opinion, but if you were to ask anyone who was near to the young man they would willingly throw him under the bus. He was twenty-five with no ambition, he was twenty-five and spent most of his days and nights piled up with friends playing some computer game; doing nothing was easier than failing out of college, or drowning himself in debt. He stood to the side of the cluttered coffee bar as he waited for his name to be called his attention currently being absorbed by the smart phone in his hand. How long had he been standing there? Before he could get too annoyed by the lengthy wait time his plastic cup was placed onto the counter. He wasn't paying much mind to his surroundings as he stepped forward to claim his purchase – which was ultimately his first mistake. His tattered shoe, that probably should have been thrown out ages ago, caught on the corner of the bar and he stumbled into another customer, "Ah, shit." He grunted as one of the cup's contents spilled onto the counter and unfortunately the small girl he had crashed into. He wanted to cast the blame onto her, because it was the easiest way out, but he knew there was no way he could turn the tables. "Sorry 'bout that." His apology was half-hearted as he offered the stranger a few crumbled napkins from the counter. "Guess I wasn't really paying much attention. You alright?"
[ i haven't role-played in awhile so i hope this isn't awful.
