Can't Stop, Won't Stop

Hailey stood lent against the Jeep Wrangler as she glanced around the small town of Beacon Hills. She had left this town behind three years ago. And yet she found herself back in the little town that used to be her home. Sighing a little she climbed back into her Wrangler and pulled out heading for the building she knew where Derek lived. It'd kind of be a surprise to him. 'Yeah Hailey. When he comes home, finds you in his apartment. And kills you. Not one of the brightest ideas, but it works.' Arriving, Hailey took and headed up to the loft and sat down waiting for him to come home.

Stiles sighed as he walked and talked to Scott. He couldn't believe it. Some how he'd been assigned to show new people around town. By his dad's order. He took and laughed with Scott. These days not many new people showed their face around here.

Derek had just returned from the high school. He followed behind, keeping an eye on Scott and Stiles. He reached his apartment and immediately felt weird. He walked in slowly. A person sat on his couch. He didn't need her to turn. There was always something about her. "Hailey?" He questioned, trying to play it off.

Sawyer sighed as she waited in the office. Apparently some student was suppose to show her around. She hoped it was someone she could get along with. Moving to a new place scared her. She noticed two boys walk in, they seemed about her age. She smiled up at them.

Hailey glanced up and over her shoulder seeing Derek. She grinned a little getting up off the couch and turning to face him. "Derek." She replied softly as she stared at him. He sure hadn't changed since she'd left.

Stile said his goodbyes to Scott and headed inside of the office. He stopped when the secretary showed him the girl that was sitting there. He smiled at her as he walked over to her and extended his hand to her, "I'm Stiles." He told her.

Derek eyed the girl and stepped closer to her. "What brings you to town?" He asked. It was odd seeing her after all these years but it felt as of she belonged back. He smiled at her and took a seat on his sofa.

She shook his hand. "I'm Sawyer." She smiled at him. She took a moment to check him out. She glanced back up at him hoping he didn't take notice. "Thanks for showing me around." She said.

Hailey took and sat down beside of Derek and sighed a little. She rubbed the back of her neck unsure of where to begin. She knew his secret of being a were wolf. She looked over at him biting her lip slightly. They'd been a thing before she'd left and being beside of him felt so right. "Derek. When I was in New Mexico, I got...attacked." Hailey whispered showing Derek the bite mark.

Stiles smiled at her and nodded, "Nice to meet you Sawyer." He said before looking at her. "It's no problem at all. Shall we begin?" Stiles smiled at her brightly. He couldn't help but to check her out. She was something to look at.

Derek's smile fell. He jumped up, scared about what could have happened to her. "Is everything okay?" Worry was evident in his voice. He always tried to protect her and knowing he failed would hurt him.

Sawyer chuckled at the boy. She laced her arm around his. She could tell he was a joking type of guy. "We shall." She said mockingly with a hint of laughter in her voice. She was thrilled to have a cute boy showing her around. Maybe Beacon Hills wouldn't be so bad.

Hailey slowly stood up pushing her sleeve down. "I'm fine." She lied. She could see the hurt and worry inside of his eyes. She frowned a little staring at him, "I promise, I am fine. Just everything that comes with it..." She shrugged lightly.

Stiles grinned escorting her around the school. He could tell that she was kind and liked to joke slightly like he did. Maybe this year wasn't going to be so bad after all. Maybe it would actually be the best year he'd had in a while. He pointed out valuable places in the school and every classroom she had a class in so she'd know.

Derek sighed and looked at the girl. "I'm so sorry." He truly meant it. He never wanted her to go through this. He walked to the kitchen and made a glass of water. He glanced at her, "Have you been able to keep things under control?" He hoped she had, he could help her.

Sawyer spent the whole tour giggling. She looked at Stiles, "Do we have any classes together?" She asked. She really hoped they did. He was already basically her friend and at this point she didn't need to know very many more people.

Hailey took and looked at Derek as she rubbed her arm lightly. "The first few months no. Then I managed to get myself under control." Hailey said to him.

Stiles looked at the schedule and smiled at her, "We have some." He told her glad that they did.

Derek nodded as he listened to Hailey. "I can help you more, if you need it." He said softly, walking towards her once more. He missed her. It didn't hit him until she was standing in his loft. He stopped walking, not wanting to be too close.

Sawyer grinned. "That's awesome." She glanced down at the floor and back up at him. "So uh, I hope this isn't too forward," she paused and looked back up at him, "But would you maybe want to hang out tonight?" Her parents both worked the night shift at the hospital and she wouldn't admit it but she wasn't ready to be alone at home in a new place.

(I'll be on and off throughout the day! I have to get everything ready before classes start next week :/ )

Hailey nodded her head to Derek, "Derek that would be amazing." She said honestly. At times she felt like when her wolf form came out that she lost all control and that she could kill an instant person. She hated that feeling more than anything in the world.

Stiles smiled at her and nodded, "Sure my dad is on night shift tonight at the station so. Yeah, we can order some pizza and what not." Stiles smiled at her. He couldn't believe that she'd asked him that.

Derek nodded and sat down. "We can start later today." He took a sip of his water, trying to stay calm. Hailey didn't deserve this love and no he had to show her how to live it.

Sawyer couldn't stop smiling as Stiles replied. She handed him her number so he could get in touch with her later. "Awesome, I have some movies we could watch too." She heard a bell ring and realized it was already time for class. She looked at Stiles, "I forgot we were in school." A playful frown crossed her lips.

Hailey nodded her head as she took and sat back down on the sofa rubbing over the scar from the bite mark. She wasn't about to tell Derek that the wolf that bit her, knew him very well. And that scared her. She bit on her lip lightly and sighed a she stayed lent back into the sofa. Somehow the wolf knew that she and Derek were a thing back years ago. Somehow also knew that her feeling for him had never left either.

Stiles chuckled, "I do that sometimes too." Stiles admitted to her. "We actually have English together right now. So I can show you." He grinned holding his arm out for her. "Shall we ma'lady?" He wiggled his brows and chuckled slightly.

Derek looked at the girl. He knew her better than he knew himself and he could tell something else was up. "Hailey," he paused, "did anything else happen?" He didn't want to pry but he needed to know. He tried his best to hold back his feelings but there was no way that would happen with her back.

Sawyer laughed at Stiles and followed him into the class. She walked in and felt all eyes on her. She wasn't the nervous type but having everyone stare was a different feeling. "Please tell me there's a seat next to you." She whispered. In a way Stiles was her only hope for sanity.

Hailey glanced over at Derek as she shook her head. She knew that he knew better than what she was saying. But she wasn't mentioning nothing else. "No." She said calmly as she possibly could.

Stiles glanced at her and smiled, "One in front of me." He pointed and smiled at her.

Derek eyed Hailey warily. He knew she was hiding something but he decided to wait until she was ready to tell him. "Alright." He said simply. He turned to her, "What do you want to do?"

Sawyer sat down in her new spot in front of Stiles. The second bell rang and the teacher filed into the room. Luckily, Sawyer avoided having to introduce herself. As soon as the woman turned her back to the board, Sawyer scribbled a note to Stiles. I don't think I'm going to be able to pay attention in my classes I share with you. She tried her best to be as discrete as possible when she slipped it to him.

Hailey glanced at Derek when he asked what she wanted to do. In all honesty she had no idea what she wanted to do. Her mind was jumbled. She was back in her home town and near the guy she had loved ever since she could remember. She shook her thoughts from her mind, "Um... I'm not sure." She replied.

Stiles took the note and read it. He couldn't help the grin that came across his lips. He took and wrote on the piece of paper, I don't think I will be able to either. He took and slid the paper back to her before going back to staring at her.

Derek smiled at her. "Maybe the woods? We could hang out and start your practice." He said. He stood up from the couch and walked to his room. He grabbed a black leather racket and swung it on. He took a deal breath and called himself. He knew his feelings would try to emerge and he had to keep them at bay. Derek made his way back to the girl. "Ready?"

Sawyer was always a good student but occasionally she acted like the typical teenager. She thought for a moment before replying. We could always find a way out. She slid the note behind her once more, hoping Stiles wouldn't be mad at her dot it. Regardless, it was worth the risk.

Hailey smiled at Derek and nodded her head, "Ready." She said following him out of the building. She could sense him fighting something as she took and shoved her hands into her jeans. She took and walked with him heading for the woods.

Stiles took the note and opened it up. He saw her response and grinned. Something he kind of never done before. He wanted to risk it. Let's risk it. He folded the paper back up and handed it back to Sawyer.
