Evelyn didn't know what to do with herself she wasn't really talking to anyone. She looked up when Steve walked over and felt her body temperature rise. "Yeah.. " she smiled weakly. That man was handsome and she was nervous she didn't want to sound dumb. "Enjoying the festivities Steve?" She managed to get something out.

Thor chuckled watching hia friend walk over to a woman, his attention went back to Shay who was in front of him. She was even more beautiful up close. "Why thank you" he took the drink and smiled widely. Taking a sip he looked back at her. "You throw quite the celebration, " he commented.

He nodded his head to her, "Yes ma'am I am." He told her and smiled at her. "Are you?" He asked smiling at her. The first time he'd met her. He knew that he liked her, and now was his chance of getting to know who she truly was and getting closer to her.

She smiled nodding her head, "Well, why thank you." She said smiling at him as she took and held her cup in her hand.

Evelyn smiled a little wider, he seemed like such a sweet guy and she wanted to get to know him better."Yes, I could do without the cold weather but that's part of the holiday season I suppose." She wasn't sure what to say to the man, he lived a more interesting and exciting life than she did, Evelyn didn't want to bore him.

Thor smiled at the beautiful woman, she was stunning and he would like to get to know her better. He raised his glass, "your quite welcome. Cheers" he smiled widely.

Chuckling he nodded his head, "That I do agree." He said and smiled at her. "Hopefully Spring will be here soon." He told her and smiled at her. "So are you enjoying the party your friend threw?" He smiled asking her.

She smiled at Thor and rose her glass towards him, "Cheers." she smiled at him as she took a sip. He lived a very more exciting life than she could ever dream of living. "So what's it like to be a god of some sort?" She asked him lightly.

Evelyn thought Steve had a cute laugh, he was cute in general but something about the way he smiled and laughed made her heart flutter. She placed some loose stands of hair behind her ear as she smiled. "Luckily I don't have any allergies, so spring won't be a problem for me." She nodded, "she always throws the best parties, I'm not quite as outgoing as she is or social but I enjoy these gatherings. I'm sure you're kept busy with your schedule, how do you find time for these things?"

Thor smiled and thought over her question, "the only difference between being mortal and a god is the responsibility and power that comes with it. I was not always humble, especially when I first came to midgard. It was quite a disaster for me. I've over came those problems and learned to manage better. Think about others before myself. It is quite busy though I came down to visit and check on all my midgardian friends, especially Steven over there," he chuckled.

Steve smiled at Evelyn and grinned a little. "Yeah my schedule." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Sometimes I just tell them that I need time. Time to myself away from all the chaos." He admitted to her. "Sometimes it doesn't work wit Fury and all. But hell sometimes I do it anyways just to piss him off." Steve grinned at her and smiled. "Yeah she can throw some good one's." He complimented her friend's parties. "Would you like something to drink?" Steve asked her and smiled.

Shay smiled at Thor, "That's really nice, that you check on him and all." She smiled at him tracing her finger around the top of her cup. She had heard about his relationship with a girl named Jane. She knew things had ended badly, cause she'd asked Steve. She had always had a thing for Thor. But never acted on it. She'd seen him one time, and that was history. She looked up from her cup and smiled, "Well, I really do hope you like the party, Thor." She said to him smiling.

Evelyn chuckled at his replies, "it's Cheistmast time everyone needs time with loved ones. Mine live across the country and couldn't make it. So I'm spending it with Shay. What about you? " she smiled brightly "sure, anything is fine by me."

Thor nodded, "he doesn't have much family so I enjoy visiting him. Steven understands me well. More than the others. He's a good man" Thor grinned "indeed I am, its very festive and filled with glee."

Steve smiled and quickly went to get her something to drink. He walked back and handed her the drink and smiled at her. He looked at her, "I am spending mine with Thor." He told her pointing to his friend. "No family." He told her. "Sorry that yours couldn't make it." He told her.



Shay smiled, "He is a very good man." she told Thor and smiled at him hearing him say about glee and festive. "That's really good." She smiled at him and looked at Shay and Steve grinning.

Evelyn thanked Steve for her drink, she looked over at Shay who eas grinning at her. Evelyn nodded, "Thor must like coming down here and you. No family? That's too bad I'm sorry. " Evelyn sipped on her drink and looked at Steve her cheeks growing pink, she didn't realize how close she was to Steve.

Thor took another sip of his drink before turning to Shay and speaking, "Steve tells me you like to throw these festive gatherings. Any reason why?" He was just curious. " your food looks delicious" he smiled..

Steve smiled seeing Evelyn's cheeks turn pink again. He couldn't help the grin that formed into his lips, "So. Evelyn tell me a little about yourself?" Steve asked her.



Shay turned her attention back to Thor and smiled, "I really don't have a reason. I just like to throw them, and I enjoy it when everyone comes over." She smiled at him. "I have no family whats so ever. So these people are like my family, their my close friends." She smiled at him. "Why thank you, would you like something?" She asked him.

Evelyn couldn't help getting flustered, Steve was just so hanfsomet and she hadn't dated in awhile. "Well, let's see I work for a fashion magazine as a photographer and model on occasion. I love to bake so I hope to own my own bakery one day. I'm 5"0 so I'm short obviously. You tower me so you could pick me up no problem" ahe said letting out a giggle. "I read about you at the museum in DC.. That's not creepy right?"

Thor listened to Shay smiling as she talked, she seemed like a sweet girl. "I see, you don't have any family? I don't want to intrude in your affairs.. I will not ask about them." He smiled "I would enjoy that please.. Stevn says I should try everything" Thor chuckled.

Steve let a chuckle escape his lips and shook his head, "No it's not creepy at all." He assured her and smiled. He took and grinned at her. He liked hearing what she'd had just said. About herself and reading about him. Kind of went to his head a little, "A photographer huh? That's pretty neat." He told her and smiled. "Well you know about me, so." He chuckled lightly. "Evelyn would you like to maybe go out one evening?" He asked her.

Shay giggled at Thor, "Well, I'll have to thank him later for that." She told him and smiled. "I lost my parents in a car accident two years ago and my grandparents disowned me when I moved here. So technically I have no one." She told him and walked with him to the kitchen. "It doesn't bother me that my grandparents do what they do. But my parents being gone, I ache every day wishing they were here." She admitted to him.

Evelyn smiled, "I enjoy it. Thanks. I know what the museum says. I'd like to know more personal interests about you." She looked into those bright blue eyes of his, "you mean like a date? I would very much like that"

Thor let out a chuckle, "I believe you just did. He seems quite smitten with your friend." Thor frowned hearing about Shay's family history, "that is awful. My regards. Why would they do such a thing? You seem like a nice woman. Steven often says uou are the most kind"

Steve nodded his head, "Like a date, and you can get to know more personal details about me." Steve smiled at her.

Shay smiled at Thor, "I try to be kind to everyone." She told him truthfully. "They are just like that I suppose." She told him shrugging.

Evekynr smiled softly and nodded, "I'd like that. When? " Evelyn wasn't easily flustered but Steve had this over her. Her cheeks were pink again, "would you like to sit and maybe eat something? I'm kind of hungry" she laughed.

Thor nodded, "that is honorable. I suppose so bite one should not treat family that way." He followed her into the kitchen. He looked around at his surroundings and smiling.

Steve nodded his head, "I'd like that, I am starved too." He smiled walking with her as he got him a plate of food and sat. He smiled watching Evelyn. She was truly something and he looked forward to getting to know her, "Why not tomorrow evening?" He mentioned about taking her out. Sooner was better for him.

She smiled at Thor and handed him a plate of all the food she had. She giggled lightly, "I hope you enjoy." She smiled making her a small plate. She was truly beginning to like him more and more as she was around him.

Evwlymr got herself a plate of food and followed Steve to a table and sat in a chair next to him. Her small smile only grew with his suggestion "that sounds perfect. What are we doing?"

Thor was a mighty man, god. So he needed to eat quite frequently, "it smells truly great." He took a seat and began to eat, "delicious, I give all my thanks to you for providing such a feast. "

Steve smiled at her, "I was thinking dinner and maybe some dancing or a movie or something?" Steve suggested to her and smiled at her.

Shay smiled at Thor and giggled lightly, "You're quiet welcome. Glad you're enjoying it." She smiled at him.

Evelyn smiled, "yeah, that sounds fun! I can't wait. Cheers" Evelyn raised her glass before taking a sip of her wine. "So.. do I have to wait until tomorrow to get know you or can you tell me more now?"

Thor smiled widely, "enjoying the wonderful company as well. You're quite lovely and beautiful. My apologies for being so bold " he grinned.
