Crazy in Love

Katherine ran a hand through her long black straight hair as she walked into the FBI headquarters. Her partner and she had been assigned one of the toughest cases that their department had received. The notorious gang known as Avenged Sevenfold was the biggest crime gang around. Every time the local PD would get a lead on something, the next day a cop would turn up dead. And the trail would turn cold.

Katherine knew this was going to be the toughest case she’d ever been put on. But she knew she could handle it with her partner at her side. She sat down at the desk as she sighed leaning back. She knew that this undercover was going to get tricky.

Jimmy exhaled the smoke from his lips as he took and looked at Matt. The two of them were sitting in Matt’s office as they planned the night’s event. And another heist the two had thought that could bring in more booze, drugs, and money that they needed to distribute to their clients and causes. Pushing the cigarette butt into the ash tray he leans closer to the desk looking at something that caught his eye.

“Shads, we may want to consider hiring some help.” He pointed out the less amount of people they had doing what they needed.

To a stranger, Candace Moriarty was far from intimidating. She stood at only five foot one and weighed only a hundred and fifteen pounds and certainly wasn't someone a normal person would be afraid. But underneath her unassuming surface, Candace was a tough little bitch. She was trained in hand-to-hand combat and carried a 9mm everywhere she went, and she definitely knew how to use it. Perhaps this was why Candace and her partner Katherine were often chosen to go on the most dangerous cases for the FBI.

"How's it going, Kat?" Candace asked, walking into their joint office. She swung her bag onto the desk and sat down, kicking her feet up.

"I think we're good," Matt said. He took the paper from Jimmy, noticing that the numbers were in fact a little low. But that didn't change his opinion. He hated bringing in outside people, because there was always the chance that person might be a mole or something. The only people Matt trusted were the comrades he'd worked alongside for years. That's how it had to be in this business.

"I wanna leave around seven," Matt said to Jimmy. He looked over at the older man. Jimmy was his second-in-command and did a damn good job. "Make sure the guys are ready to go by then."

Katherine stared at Candace as she smiled at her friend and partner, "Goin' good." She replied as she lent back into the leather chair. She propped her arms behind her head and used her hands to support her neck and back of her head. "So this case. We've got. Any idea how to weasel our way into this gang?" She questioned Candace. "I have racked my brain, Ace. Nothing is coming to mind but to work for them. Or pose fake jobs that they normally communicate with." She said being honest.

Looking at Matt he nodded his head to him, "Will do boss'." Jimmy replied to Matt as he got up from his chair. He walked out of the office and rubbed the back of his neck. He let a soft sigh escape his lips. He knew that they needed more help in certain areas but knew Matt wouldn't agree. This line of business you had to take trust who you'd been with for years and years. But, in some cases when you needed help. You needed help. Jimmy sighed letting it go for now anyways. He headed over to the bar getting him some JD to down before tonight.

Candace swung her feet down to the floor and reached into one of the drawers of her desk, pulling out a manilla folder. She'd spend the past few days pouring over the information about this gang, but hadn't really be able to find any cracks she and Katherine could slip into. "The fake relationship troupe works pretty well," she mused, reading over the file again. "But the job thing might work as well. I'm pretty good with guns, and we know these men like their guns." Candace closed the file and slipped it back into her drawer. "The only question is, how would we get them to hire us?" she asked. "These men are hard-wired not to trust anyone, Shadows makes sure of that."

At Matt's insistence, they were all out the door at a quarter 'til seven. He always liked to run a little early, in case things didn't go as planned. There were a lot of variables involved in a heist and Matt liked to be prepared. "I trust everybody knows how this is going to go down," Matt said, looking around at his group of men. They were standing just outside the warehouse they planned where the heist was planned and Matt could hear voices inside, none the wiser to what was about to happen. "Take everything and kill every last one of them."

Katherine nodded her head in agreement with Candace's statement. They were hard-wired not to trust anyone. Their had to be some sort of flaw to get inside of their gang. Some little leak or crack. They did have a few informants that delivered to the men, and they were oblivious to it. "What about that informant, Jonas?" Katherine began as she looked at Candace. "He does their gun shipments. And they are oblivious to the fact he is an informant." Katherine pointed out. "That could be your ticket in with the gun business. I could do the other informant, Danny. He's with the drugs and shit. That could be my ticket, since I have covered a lot of drug cases." Katherine said.

Nodding his head, Jimmy saw the men ready to go into the building. He cocked his gun and followed Matt's lead as the entered. He took and began shooting as he took what he saw. Doing just as his boss said. He parted ways taking out anyone that crossed his path. He chuckled at one point when he killed some poor sap that pleaded to him not too. He grabbed all the shit up and headed out of the warehouse and to the van waiting.

Candace nodded, grinning. "I'll finally get to show off my skills!" she exclaimed. "But let's go ahead and get ahold of Jonas and Danny so we can get this shit going. Because the sooner we get these fuckers thrown in jail, the better." Candace knew that this case would take longer than any of the others they'd done, because the guys from Avenged Sevenfold were smart. They were careful about who they let into their inner circle and they didn't leave loose ends. It would be hard to gather enough evidence to take them down. "You know we're probably gonna end up with one of them," she said to Katherine.

"Let's get the fuck out of here," Matt said. He gave the signal to Johnny, who was behind the wheel, and then they were off. Matt turned around to survey what they'd taken from the warehouse. It looked to be pretty good quality cocaine, which would net them a pretty penny. "Remind me to give Danny a call and thank him for the tip on that warehouse." He looked over at Jimmy next. "When we get back me and you are gonna go over this shit, make sure it's all good," he said.

Katherine looked at Candace as she had already gotten on the phone with Danny. She held her hand over the phone, "Oh yeah we probably will, Ace." She chuckled as she took and shook her head lightly. She went back to the phone call finishing up with Danny as she hung up. "I'm set. Tomorrow he said Shadows should be in from a heist they done tonight." Katherine grinned.

Looking at Matt, Jimmy nodded his head. "You got it boss." He replied to him. He glanced through some of the items he took as he grinned. "Gotta take and call Jonas and thank him for the tip on these AK-47's. Damn these are going to bring some good money with the other gang clients." He grinned sorting through them.

Candace made a face. She didn't like the idea of having to be with a criminal, but it usually wasn't for very long and it usually netted them a lot of information. She picked up her phone and dialed Jonas' number. "Hey Jonas, I need you to get me into Sevenfold." Candace waited a few seconds, listening to Jonas say it would be difficult. "I don't care. Me and Kat were assigned to this case and we need some way in to gather evidence on them."

Matt nodded. "We're keeping some of them for ourselves though," he said. "We need to add to the stockpile. And I think we all need to start using automatic weapons for the larger heists, make it a little easier." When they arrived back at their house, Matt instructed some of the workers to unload the stuff from the van, telling Brian and Zacky to oversee this, and headed into the house. "I'm about to fucking starve," Matt said, walking into the kitchen.

The next day Katherine took and dressed the appropriate way that she thought she should be dressed and what not. Even down to dying her hair more a blondish red color to fit in with this gang. Heading into the shop where Danny done all his illegal business. She grinned when he came over and hugged her tight causing her chuckle. She pulled back from him as she tugged her hair up into a messy bun, "So when are they supposed to be here?" She asked as he began telling her that it wouldn't be longer to get ready. She nodded her head and went behind the counter with him waiting patiently. This was going to be a very difficult task but it'd be worth it when the gang was brought down.

Morning had came and Jimmy knew it. All the booze and beer he'd consumed the night before. Was taking a toll on him this morning. His throbbing head, and every tiny noise causing his head to feel as if it was about to explode. Groaning as he sat up in his bed, he ran a hand over his face sighing a little. He had a lot missing in his life. One thing for sure was that he wanted love. He wanted a wife, and maybe down the road a family. But he knew it'd never happen. He had trust issues at times, and he fucked every single gal coming and going. Getting out of the bed he grabbed some clothes and took a hot shower before getting ready for his day.

Heading out of his room he headed downstairs to see Matt already waiting. "Sorry man." Jimmy muttered out taking the coffee from the cook as he downed half and got more before they left heading to do their business.

Candace tucked her phone between her shoulder and her ear, talking to Jonas as she climbed out of her car. "I'm here, would you calm the fuck down?" she hissed. She started walking towards the building where they were supposed to meet, which was quite a ways away since Jonas insisted she park very far away. "What's the big rush anyway, I thought you said Sevenfold had to meet with Danny and Kat first?" According to the information she and Katherine had received, the gang had gone on a heist last night. It had apparently gone well and they wanted to meet with both Danny and Jonas to thank them or some shit. This would be when Katherine and Candace would be introduced as the informants' new helpers, which would hopefully be their ticket inside the gang.

"You're all good," Matt said. He'd been up for around an hour already, and was now sitting in the kitchen, picking at the remnants of his breakfast. He got to his feet, tossing the dishes in the sink for the maids to clean later, and followed Jimmy outside. "We're going to see Danny first, and then we'll go see Jonas," he explained to Jimmy, pulling out of the driveway. The drive to the location where they would meet Danny was a short one and less than fifteen minutes later Matt was cutting the engine. "I hope Danny has some more information for us," he said. "But maybe since his payment this time is bigger, he'll have more incentive."

Once they were inside, the first thing Matt noticed was that Danny wasn't alone. Instinctively, Matt's free hand went to the gun hidden inside the waistband of his jeans. "Danny, who the fuck is this?" he asked, staring hard at the girl sitting behind the counter.

Katherine's eyes widened in fear as she saw him go for his gun. "Damn Matt. Put the gun away. This is my cousin, Kat." Danny said as he went out from behind the counter. Katherine watched him a moment as he walked over to Matt. "I hired her to help me out around here. She's one of the best that I know, who know's her shit around any type of drug, and the money intake that it could bring. She has helped a lot of guys get a lot of money off one pill." Danny said turning towards her and grinning before turning back to Matt. "You can trust her, trust me." He replied.

Jimmy watched the interaction between the two as he took and stepped back a second. Drugs was Matt's forte. Jimmy crossed his arms watching Danny and Matt speak to one another. He noticed the girl and noticed she wasn't frightened one bit. She was a lot stronger than some he'd seen in this business.

Matt eyed Danny suspiciously. He wished he'd told him that he was bringing someone else in. But Matt trusted Danny, even if he didn't trust his cousin. "Fine," Matt said eventually. "But I'm not just letting her jump in. She has to pass a little test first." Matt sat the briefcase containing Danny's payment down on the counter and then reached into his pocket, pulling out a small plastic bag. He handed it to the girl. "This is an eightball of the stuff we took last night. I was gonna sell it myself, but since you're here now, you can do it. I just wanna see how much you can get for it. Get enough and you're in."

Candace looked up when she heard Jonas close his phone, the little flip phone he used for this line of work. "That was Danny," he explained. "Matt and Jimmy just left from there, so they should be here in about thirty minutes."

Candace nodded. It sounded a little weird to hear Jonas call them by their first names, but she'd have to get used to doing that too, if she was gonna do this. "They'd better hurry, I'm starving," she said a few minutes later, earning a glare from Jonas.

Jimmy felt the car come to a halt outside of Jonas's shop. He climbed out grabbing the duffle that had the guns in it. He tossed it up onto his shoulder and headed inside. Stopping in his tracks once he was in he saw a girl with Jonas. Just like Danny. He narrowed his eyes as he growled, "What the fuck is going on Jonas?" He snarled out. "Who the fuck is that? You know how I fucking feel about "newbies." Jimmy snarled out.

Katherine took the baggie of substance and looked at Danny who smirked. "If anyone can get the triple amount out of that. I know you can." He said grinning at her as she shook her head. She called in one of her FBI drug friends and told them what she had and she needed triple the amount it was actually worth. Once he agreed to take the drugs in for a stake out of his own and give the money. She grinned getting up and heading out, "Be back later." She told Danny as she left the shop and headed to do the exchange. Once she had it done and all, she headed back to Danny's shop to wait on Candace to text her so they could head out to lunch.

"Calm the fuck down, Jimmy," Jonas said, getting to his feet. He walked over to the two men and Candace suddenly noticed how small he looked next to them. "This is Candace. She's a friend of Danny's cousin Kat. I'm sure you've met her? She knows a good deal about weapons and she's a damn good shot, so I brought her in to help me out." Candace wondered if Katherine had gotten such a chilly reception from these two guys. She probably had; they didn't seem to be very pleasant.

Matt didn't say a word at first, deciding he'd just let Jimmy deal with all of this. As unhappy as he was to potentially have a second new person joining, guns and weapons were Jimmy's area of expertise. "We're not just gonna let her in, Jonas," Matt said, finally speaking. "Jimmy, you know more than I do about this shit. Think up a little test or something like we did for the other one."

Jimmy took and narrowed his eyes as he crossed his arms. "I'm fucking starving. So in a few hours i'll be back. If you can pass my shooting range test. You're in. If not, Jonas you get rid of her." Jimmy said as he took and dropped the guns down and nodded to Jonas as he took and left.

Katherine headed to the local diner that her and Candace always went too. She handed the bag of dope off to the FBI agent and took the cash pocketing it. She went to the booth and sat down as she ordered her beverage and waited.

"God, he's rude," Candace said, watching the two men leave. She already wasn't a fan of Jimmy and now she was stuck trying to be his friend. Suddenly she remembered that he would probably be the one she'd have to be with, and she made a face. Wonderful. "Well, I'm gonna head out," she said to Jonas. "I'm meeting Kat for lunch."

"Just remember Jimmy will be back in a few hours and you need to be here."

"When you back to Jonas' warehouse, you can go by yourself," Matt said, pulling into the parking lot of a restaurant. "I'm tired and I wanna take a fucking nap, not deal with Jonas' bullshit." Matt got out of the car and waited until Jimmy had gotten out to lock it, stuffing his keys into his pocket as he walked towards the restaurant. The waitstaff knew exactly who they were and so they were seated pretty quickly.

Jimmy took and looked at Matt nodding his head. He took and lent back into the booth the two sat down in and ordered his usual meal. He took the beer and downed some it sighing. "Wonder if that chick with Danny sold the drugs?" He chuckled lightly shaking his head a little.

Katherine glanced up hearing the small bell above the door go off. She smiled seeing Candace come in and plop down in front of her. "Did you get a warm welcome too?" She asked staring at Candace.

Candace scoffed. "Uh, no," she said. She picked up the menu and started looking it over as she continued to speak. "The one guy - Jimmy, is what Jonas called him - is the rudest fucking person I think I've ever met. I have to go back to Jonas' place later to pass some stupid test. What about you? Did they treat you any better?"

"She better have, or Danny's gonna have a fucking mess to clean up," Matt said. He took a sip of his beer as well, leaning back to look around the restaurant. He'd have to give Danny a call later to see if that girl had sold the drugs and then he'd have to go talk to them and see how much she got for the drugs and it just sounded like so much trouble.

Katherine nodded her head as she lent back into the booth seat. "Yeah, I know what you mean. The one named Matt. He was fucking rude to me as well. I had to do some test on selling drugs and shit." Katherine shook her head picking at her nails.

Chuckling to himself Jimmy shook his head and ordered. He took and smiled to himself as he took and sat there. Wondering if the girl could live up to what Jonas had said.
