Crazy in Love

"You should come back to Jonas' warehouse with me," Candace suggested, sipping on her water. "Watch the look on their faces when I show them my awesome shooting skills." She paused. "Plus I don't think Jonas is gonna be there." She had no idea what Jonas was thinking, leaving her to meet those men by herself. They didn't trust her yet. And as much as Candace knew she could defend herself, there wasn't too much she could do against two grown men with guns.

Matt forced a smile at the waitress when she brought their food. He hadn't been feeling particularly hungry; he was too stressed about these two new people that Jonas and Danny had decided to bring in without consulting him first. But the second the food was placed in front of him, he was ravenous. "So when are you going back to Jonas'?" Matt asked, his mouth full of food.

[[that's okay ]

Katherine nodded her head to her friend, "I'll come with you." Katherine replied to her as she sipped on the iced tea she'd ordered. "Show these fuckers, that their not messing with fragile girls, their messing with some tough ass women." She grinned at Candace.

Jimmy swallowed the bite of food he had in his mouth and took a swig of his beer before replying to Matt, "Right after lunch." He took another bite and smiled best he could at his best friend. "Maybe you should come with me Matt? See if she's truly material to be in the business. I mean I know I am the gun wiz and all. But you know." Jimmy said waving his hand lightly in the air while eating.

[Ok. ]

Candace grinned. "Hell yeah." She placed her order when the waiter returned, rubbing her stomach. She hoped the food would be ready soon, because she was starving. "Wonder if they'll let me use my pistol," Candace mused. "Oh by the way, how much did you manage to "get" for those drugs?"

Matt shrugged, chewing on his food. Swallowing, he said, "Alright, I guess I can go with you. Let's hope it doesn't take too long, though." He still needed to go over logistics from this last heist, plan out what he was going to do with the shit they'd taken. And he really wanted a fucking nap.

Katherine grinned at her, "They better. Cause you sure as hell can blow their mind with that." She grinned and smirked at her question. "Well on the street they normally sell for three grand a bag. I got nine grand for it." She smirked. "Wonder how he'll like that." She grinned.

Chuckling Jimmy nodded, "Yeah. Ok." He said to him and finished his food and drink up. "It shouldn't be too long." Jimmy added.

"Yeah, in more ways than one," Candace said. She made the shape of a gun with her fingers and pointed them at Kat's head, making a little 'pew' noise. She smirked when Kat said how much she got for the drugs. "That man is probably gonna wanna marry you after you tell him you got nine grand for that shit."

Matt rolled his eyes, making random gestures with his hands. "That's what we always think and then we end up being there for like five hours," he complained. He was well aware that he sounded a lot like an old man, but he didn't care. Matt finished off his food and slapped a twenty on the table to cover the check. "Alright, let's go get this shit over with."

Katherine chuckled as she took and finished her food up and pushed the plate away. She saw the waitress bring the ticket as she paid for bother their food and smiled at Candace, "Probably so." She chuckled. "And the other may want to marry you when he sees how hard core ass you are at shooting shit." She winked and finished her tea off.

Getting up from the table, Jimmy headed out. He took and got in the driver's seat and looked at Matt. "Relax on the way there, Matt." He told him as he pulled out of the lot and headed for the gun range.

Candace waved Katherine off as she got to her feet. "Ahh, I ain't the marrying type," she said, laughing. She tossed a five dollar bill onto the table as a tip. "Come on, let's get back to Jonas'. Get this shit over with." Candace watched as Kat went over to her car and climbed inside before getting into her own car. The other woman knew the way to Jonas' warehouse, so Candace pulled out of the parking lot and headed that way without making sure Kat was following.

Matt rolled his eyes at Jimmy. Relaxing wasn't something Matt did, even when he was laying in bed at night. He was just too paranoid and now being on edge had become part of his personality. When they pulled into the secluded parking lot of Jonas' warehouse, Matt was surprised to see two cars already there. "What the fuck is this, a party?"

Katherine sat on the counter as she waited for the two men to get there. She heard a door open up as she glanced up seeing the two men walk in. She grinned over at Candace as she saw the same smirk appear on her face. "Boys." She said sliding off the counter. She pulled the money out of her pocket and walked over to the one called Matt. "Here you go big boy." She shoved the money to him before going over to Candace.

Jimmy looked at Matt and back to the woman. "Alright I see you two need to talk about this shit. You." He pointed to Candace. "Let's go." He said going to the range to see what she was made of. He might seem like a damn hard ass. But at times he could be a true sweetheart. When he wanted to be that was...

Candace raised an eyebrow at Jimmy, frowning as she followed him out back to Jonas' makeshift shooting range. She had a strong suspicion that she was going to end up punching him before this whole thing was over; she didn't like being ordered around. "So what is it that I have to do exactly?" Candace asked. She reached into the waistband of her pants and retrieved her pistol, which she flashed at Jimmy. "And I even brought my own gun."

"Don't call me that," Matt grumbled. As Katherine walked away, Matt unfolded the bills, counting the money. His eyes widened slightly when he realized how much was there. "There's like nine grand here!" he exclaimed. He waited until Jimmy and Katherine's friend had disappeared before approaching her. "How did you get this kind of money? This is like three times street price."

Grinning at her tiny frame. He saw her flash the pistol before him. “Simple really.” He told her as he got all the targets set up. He turned back at her. “The targets will start to move. Shoot them.” He told her. It was something he done for every new recruit he’d take in. When he did that was. If they could shoot something moving extremely fast. Well then, they could shoot during a heist and mission.

Leaning back into the counter behind her. She folded her arms across her chest and stared at the buffed man before her. She shrugged her shoulders with a sly smirk on her face. “I told you, when you know what you’re doing. You know what you’re doing.” She told Matt as she let her arms drop. “The client of mine, said he’d be interested in more if you get any.” She added as she looked towards the door Candace went out with the other one that was called Jimmy.

Candace shrugged. She waited until the targets started to move and then raised her pistol. She fired all of the bullets in her gun, striking each target in the center, or pretty damn close. She ejected the empty clip from her pistol as she turned back to Jimmy. "Well," she said. "Do I pass?"

Matt didn't say anything, just stared at Katherine. He had no idea how she'd gotten so much for what he'd given her. But he was kind of excited that she'd gotten so much, because that meant she could make him a lot of money. "Alright," Matt said. "You and your...friend can come down to our place this weekend, if she passes Jimmy's little test. Danny or Jonas can give you the address."

Standing stunned Jimmy stared at her. He shook his head lightly and just stared at her before nodding. "Damn." He said staring at her. "Where the hell did you learn to do that?" He questioned her shocked and stunned by what she'd done.

Grinning ear to ear she just nodded her head, "Yeah, thanks." She said as she stood at the counter. She took and knew that this was going to get a lot simpler now. They just had to work them a little more. Get a little more information. And they could bring them down once and for all.

Candace just smirked. "What can I say, I'm a sharp shooter," she said. She was oddly pleased to see how impressed Jimmy was with her shooting. "You act like you've never seen a pretty girl shoot a gun before," Candace laughed. She slid her pistol back into the waistband of her pants. "So, should we go join your friend and Kat?"

Matt glanced up when he heard footsteps approaching and saw Jimmy and the other girl coming back into the room. "How'd she do?" Matt asked Jimmy, although he pretty much already had his answer by the look on Jimmy's face. Which meant they'd have two new people to drag along on heists and two new people to train and two new people to potentially get them caught.

Jimmy just looked at Matt. "She is fucking amazing with a gun." He told Matt as he rubbed the back of his neck. "So since their in, guess we'll see you girl's in a few days." He said to the two girls. "You about ready?" He asked Matt.

Katherine grinned over at Candace seeing the two men staring at the two. She giggled lightly underneath her breath as the two began to leave. She smirked at Candace and ate all this up.

"Goddamn right I am," Candace mumbled, watching Jimmy talk with the other man. "Yeah, I guess we'll see you guys this weekend." She waited until the two men had stepped out of the warehouse before she turned to Katherine. "Not gonna lie, that was a little easier than I thought it was gonna be."

Matt nodded. "Yeah, let's get the fuck out of here," Matt said. He lifted his hand in some sort of wave to the two girls before heading out of the warehouse. "Who's gonna tell the other guys we've got two new helpers?" he asked as they started the drive back to the house. They probably wouldn't be too pleased about it but they'd get over it, especially when Matt told them to.

Katherine chuckled nodding her head at Candace. "I know what you mean." She replied to her unfolding her arms and dropping them to her side. She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed lightly, "I am fucking beat. I need a nap." Katherine smiled at Candace.

Jimmy looked at Matt as he climbed into the car and started it up. He pulled out of the lot and onto the road as he looked at Matt once more. “Guess I’ll tell them tonight at our meeting.” He offered with a light shrug. “They’re not going to be happy, especially Gates.” He muttered.

"I'm with you there," Candace said. She waited until she heard the rumble of an engine starting outside and the crunch of tires over gravel before she spoke again. "Alright, let's get the fuck out of here. We need to rest up for whatever the hell they're gonna have us do this weekend." She knew they'd probably be expected to move into the house, which meant packing and Candace hated packing.

"Gates can get the fuck over it," Matt said. But Jimmy was right; Brian would probably be the least happy about the new additions. And Brian had a temper, so Matt had a feeling he'd have to have a talk with him. He reached forward to fiddle with the radio, settling on a station that was playing an Iron Maiden song.

Katherine nodded her head and made her way out of the warehouse with Candace. She said her goodbye's to her friend and got into her car heading to her apartment. The good thing was that she and Candace lived across the hallway with from one another. Katherine got home and headed up to her apartment and went inside. She flopped onto the sofa and laid there wore out. She knew things were coming, like moving into the Sevenfold mansion, and missions, and so forth. She knew that the two of them had a long road ahead of them to get this case to a final end and those men in jail.

Rocking out to the Iron Maiden song on the radio. He pulled up at the gate as it opened up. Driving up the long winding road that lead to the grey brick mansion up on the hill. Parking the car inside the garage he turned it off and climbed out. He was ready for a long, fucking nap. It was beyond over due. "See you later." Jimmy told Matt before heading up to his bedroom to get some sleep before their meeting tonight.

Once she got back to her apartment, Candace immediately went to her room to change clothes and take her hair down. Once she had slipped into something a little more comfortable, she grabbed her remote and jumped into bed. She changed the channel to American Dad and settled back against her pillows. Today had gone a lot better than she'd been expecting and it had much easier than she'd anticipated to gain entry into Avenged Sevenfold. But unfortunately, Candace knew that actually taking them down would be much harder; they'd have to stay undercover for months, collecting evidence and gaining their trust.

Matt did some sort of salute in Jimmy's direction as he headed to his room. He didn't bother setting an alarm before he went to bed; the guys knew that one of them needed to wake him up. He didn't change clothes, just tugged his shirt over his head and tossed it on the floor. The only thing he didn't like about his life was the fact that he didn't have someone to sleep next to, but who would want to be romantically involved with a drug kingpin? It wasn't the safest line of work and he was always so busy...not to mention that the guys told him on more than one occasion that he was too cranky. But he still held out hope.

Laying on her back, Katherine kicked the boots off and laid there. She kept her gaze on her ceiling before she turned her gaze to the television. She grabbed the remote and turned it onto Family Guy. She chuckled at some of the stupid things going on in the show. She smiled to herself as she laid there. She knew gaining trust from these men were going to be somewhat difficult. She couldn't help but to think about her love life. It sucked badly, she wanted more than work and lonely nights. She wanted companionship, and someone to cuddle up to and love. Letting a soft sigh escape her lips she closed her eyes soon drifting off to sleep.

Flopping onto his stomach once he was in his bedroom. He laid there as he thought about stuff. He was just like Matt, on occasion he could be cranky. But he longed for someone to be beside of him when he laid in the bed. He wanted romance, love, a family life. But he knew as long as he was in this line of work. He'd never have that. Or maybe he was wrong? Maybe he could? He closed his eyes trying to push all the thoughts out of his head but failed.
