Crazy in Love

Jimmy nodded his head to Matt, "Got it chief." He told him and smiled at him. He took and went onward with Candace as he kept his eyes peeled.

Katherine took and saw Matt begin to walk as he followed him. She took and grabbed a few things she knew that she was supposed to take.

Candace followed behind Jimmy, still clutching her gun to her chest. She let him in front just slightly so that if something happened, he would be the one to shoot.

"We're going to have to be careful up here, they're known to post guards," Matt explained to Katherine. He flicked the safety on his gun, just in case, and crept forward.

Jimmy crept around the corner as he took and kept a look out. He continued creeping along till he heard a voice right at them. He stopped holding his hand up to Candace. He took and lent against the wall as he slowly glanced around the corner to see two men talking. By the looks they were two posted guards for this facility. He looked at her, "Two posted guards right around the corner, are you ready?" He questioned her lightly.

Katherine nodded her head to Matt and followed his lead. She took and kept a small distance but not so much that she'd get herself killed. She let him keep going first, so if something were to happen she wouldn't be in the harms way, he would be.

Candace nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready," she said. She reached down to flick the safety off on her gun, just in case. It felt nice to have a weapon in her hands again, even if she wasn't so sure about using it this time. She just had to keep reminding herself that these men had probably killed people and so if she hurt them, they kinda deserved it.

"Turn your safety off," Matt whispered to Katherine. He felt more on edge than usual, maybe because they had two new people with them who didn't know how these situations worked. And Matt always felt guilty when one ofhhis employees got hurt on a job.

Rounding the corner Jimmy took one of the men out thanking god he had a silencer on the end of the pistol he used. He watched as the other man pointed a gun at him as he grinned a little hoping Candace shot the mother fucker soon.

Katherine done as he said as she flicked the safety off. She took and heard the voices continue to chat, as she took and bit on her lip.

When the second man raised his gun at Jimmy, Candace stepped forward, raising her gun as well. The man turned his gun on Candace as she fired; she heard a second gunshot as the guard shot as well, and then a blinding pain in her shoulder.

Matt raised his gun when he heard shots, looking up in time to see Candace stumbling to the floor. "Goddammit," he hissed. He hurried forward, sweeping the area to make sure there weren't any more guards before he turned around to Katherine. "Take what you have with you to the van. I want you and Jimmy to get Candace out of here.

Jimmy's eyes widen seeing the bullet strike Candace's shoulder. Jimmy rushed to her as he took and grabbed her narrowing his eyes. He heard Matt's orders and saw Katherine get into protective mode. Something like a mother would do. He scooped Candace up into his arms as he watched Katherine sweep the area and make sure it was safe before they moved forward and into the van. He laid Candace down and grabbed a towel applying pressure to her shoulder to keep it from bleeding until they could get back to the mansion.

Katherine laid her gun down as she took and looked at Candace. She pushed Jimmy's hand away as she took and looked at her shoulder. It was deep, she sighed staring at her. "Fuck." She muttered in aggravation. When she took and got pissed to this point, she took and saw red whens he was this angry. And most of the time she'd do stupid shit. But this was one time she was trying to keep it controlled so she didn't go in there and blow the damn place up and cause Matt this heist.

"Goddammit, that hurts!" Candace shouted, trying to push Jimmy's hand away from her shoulder. She knew he needed to keep pressure on it, but that didn't stop it from hurt. It had started raining since they'd gone inside, so she, Jimmy, and Katherine were all soaking wet.

Once he was sure Jimmy and Katherine had Candace handled, Matt caught up with Zacky and Brian and the three of them forged on ahead. It was risky for just the three of them to go in alone, but Matt wasn't about to leave now, not when they barely had anything to make this trip worthwhile.

Jimmy looked at her, "I am sorry, ok." He said as he looked down at her and grabbed a blanket draping it around her to keep her warm. He sighed hoping the three of them got out of there safe. It was a risk for Matt, Brian, and Zacky to finish this alone. But he knew Matt wouldn't back down.

Katherine stared at her best friend and frowned. She took and sighed heavily leaning back into the wall. She knew this was a bad idea tonight. She tried to warn Matt but he was too damn stubborn for his own good.

Candace pulled the blanket as close around her as she could manage, feeling herself start to shiver. She gritted her teeth against the cold and the pain that was still radiating out from her shoulder in waves. She wished she was curled under her covers asleep, away from this heist and this stupid thunderstorm.

"Just fill your bags and then we can leave," Matt said to Zacky and Brian. "We probably don't have much time before they realize we're here and if they find us, we're dead." Matt led the two of them to the back room where he knew the drugs were being kept and started stuffing things into his bag.

Jimmy noticed her shivering a little more as he grabbed one more blanket and put it around her. "Hopefully this will help." Jimmy said to her and kept her close. He rubbed her back a little keeping pressure to her arm. "See them yet?" Jimmy asked Johnny seeing him shake his head no. He sighed hoping they'd get out.

Katherine watched Candace and frowned. She took and looked at her as she sat beside of her. "Hey." She said to Candace as she noticed her eyes glance to her. She had to do whatever it took to get her mind off of the pain and all this. "Remember that time we made the stupid bet about the water park and our bathing suits?" She asked Candace with a sly grin.

Candace cuddled closer to Jimmy, hoping she could absorb some of his warmth. She looked over at Katherine and smiled a little. "Yeah, that was so stupid, though," she said, laughing. She winced a little as her shoulder moved. "Were we drunk? I think we were drunk."

Matt fit as much as he could into his bag before he turned to Zacky and Brian. "Come on, we need to get the fuck out of here," he said. "We're probably gonna have to have the doc come look at Candace and I don't like just the three of us being in here."

Jimmy chuckled listing to the two girls go on about their night they were talking about. "Yeah we were shit faced off Whiskey." Katherine laughed as he felt Candace scoot closer to him. He took and held to her as he rubbed her arm in a soothing manner. He knew that she was freezing, and he knew that she needed a doctor really soon.

Katherine smiled shaking her head lightly at the memories of that night. She took and frowned seeing how cold Candace looked. She felt guilty and bad for her all in one. She was hoping they'd hurry so they could get her to a doctor.

Candace grinned. "We'll have to do that again soon," she told Katherine. "The whiskey part, not the skinny dipping part." She shivered again, letting out a soft groan. She'd been shot before but that didn't stop it from hurting.

Brian and Zacky nodded, following Matt out of the building. They managed to avoid running into anyone else, thankfully. Matt handed Brian his bag and told the both of them to get in the back as he climbed in next to Johnny.

Once they got back to the mansion. Jimmy got Candace out and quickly took her inside. He was thankful that Zacky had already called the doctor on the way there. He took her into her room and laid her on the bed right as the doctor came in. He stared at her as he refused to leave her side. "She going to be ok?" He questioned their doctor they had on hand.

Katherine watched Jimmy leave with Candace and hoped her friend would be ok. She helped the guys take the stuff in as she ran a hand through her hair. She walked up the stairs and waited outside of Candace's bedroom door biting on her lip.

The doctor nodded. "She should be fine," he said. "The bullet missed the large blood vessels in the arm. She will need a few stitches though, so I'll need to anesthize her."

"Uh, can we move me to Kat's room before we do that?" Candace asked, speaking up. "That's where I'm sleeping. You know, because of the storm."

"Come on, let's take this stuff inside, start sorting through it," Matt said. He looked over at Katherine. "You can go see about Candace, if you want. I think the four of us can handle this." After Katherine left, Matt, Johnny, Zacky, and Brian continued carrying the merchandise inside.

Jimmy nodded his head. He lifted her up slowly and carried her to Katherine's room to see her already waiting for them. He laid her on the bed and looked at the doctor, "There you are." he told him as he watched Candace.

Katherine smiled at Candace giving her a light hug before sitting in the corner to let the doctor do what he needed. She took and sighed a little grabbing her phone and texting Jonas and Danny about what happened. She tucked her phone back into her bra and watched the doctor and Jimmy. She could see the instant connection he had with her friend.

Candace got comfortable on Katherine's bed before looking at the doctor. "Alright, I'm ready. Drug me up." She grinned. Even after being shot in the shoulder, she couldn't resist being a jokester. It was just who she was.

Matt tucked his phone back into his pocket, having just gotten off the phone with Danny, who was going to come look at their merchandise the next day. "I'm gonna go see how Candace and Katherine are doing," he told the others.

Jimmy chuckled at her response, "Drug her up, doc." He chuckled and smiled at Candace before he kissed her forehead lightly. "I'll be right here when you wake up, Candace." He told her and smiled going to make himself comfortable.

Katherine saw the doctor get ready as she smiled at Candace before going out of the room. She needed some air. She managed to find her way out of the mansion and into the back yard. She sat down in a lawn chair and lit up her cigarette sighing a little as she lent forward letting her mind race.

"Uh, you don't have to stay here," Candace said. She'd gone under the knife for a bullet wound before and she knew the procedure could last a little while, especially if the bullet needed to be removed. And besides all that, Candace still didn't know Jimmy all that well and it was a little weird to have him here.

Matt got an update on Candace from the doctor as he was preparing to stitch her up. Since she was stable, he decided to go and find Katherine. He eventually found her outside, which he thought was a little strange since it was still pouring down rain. "What the hell are you doing out here?" he asked, leaning against the wall. Lightning flashed nearby. "It's a little iffy out here."
