Crazy in Love

Jimmy grinned at her, "Well, I hope there is." He teased back and smiled at her. He took and rested his arm around her waist and smiled into her hairline. He kept her close and continued watching the movie.

Katherine slowly opened up her eyes and shook her head, "I'm comfy." She whispered to him closing her eyes again as she dozed off once more.

"I'm sure you do," Candace said, smirking slightly. She finished off the popcorn and set the bowl aside, reaching for her drink. Once she'd put that back on the table, she leaned into Jimmy, yawning.

"Okay," Matt said, chuckling. He looked over at Candace. "I think you've been booted from the bed for the night. Unless you don't mind me here, that is."

Jimmy wrapped his arms around her getting comfortable himself. He let out a yawn himself and heard Matt talking to Candace, "Well if you don't mind. You can always crash with me." Jimmy offered to her.

Hearing the muffled talk, Katherine drifted off into her own little world.

Candace shook her head at first, not really comfortable with the idea of being in Jimmy's bed, but then the thunder suddenly rumbled again, very loudly and very close, and she squeaked, pressing her face into Jimmy's shoulder. "Yeah okay, that sounds fine," she said.

Matt could tell by the even-ness of Katherine's breathing that she had fallen asleep. He honestly never would have expected to be in her bed this soon - or at all, really - but he wasn't going to complain about it.

Jimmy chuckled and nodded. "Want to go ahead and head on to my bedroom? We can watch something in there if you want too?" Jimmy asked Candace and smiled at her.

Keeping her body close to Matt's she let the silent dreams keep going. Even though she had a job do. She was a woman, and of course she had desires and wants as well.

"As long as you pop some more popcorn," Candace said, looking over at the empty bowl. When the movie they were watching was over, Candace slid carefully out of the bed and waited for Jimmy at the door before she walked over to his room.

"See you guys tomorrow," Matt said softly, watching as Jimmy and Katherine left. He reached for the remote and turned off the TV before turning over on his side, facing Katherine. Being careful not to wake her up, he shifted her down so that her head was underneath his chin.

Jimmy made them some more popcorn and smiled as he took and walked back to his bedroom. He took and handed her the bowl before getting into the bed, "If you don't feel comfortable being in the bed with me. I can take and let you have the bed and i'll sleep on the sofa." Jimmy told her with a smile.

Shifting a little, Katherine slowly opened her eyes a little rubbing them before closing them again. She got comfy again and laid there. Listing to Matt's heartbeat. "If you don't feel comfortable being in the bed with me, it's ok." she whispered lightly half asleep.

"No, it's fine," Candace said, grabbing a handful of popcorn. "I like to have somebody next to me when it's storming. It makes me feel safe." She stuffed the popcorn into her mouth. "So hurry up and pick out a movie."

"I'm already half asleep, it would take an army to get me out of this bed unless the house was on fire," Matt said. Why would he be uncomfortable with sharing a bed with a beautiful girl? "But if you wanna kick me out, feel free."

Jimmy grinned at her and picked a movie out popping it in. He sat down beside of her and smiled at her, "Alright movie time." He chimed out.

Katherine smiled as she glanced up at him, "I don't think I could." She whispered to him curling closer to his body. She rested her hand lightly on his chest smiling as she drifted back off.

"What movie did you pick this time?" Candace asked. "I swear, if it's as weird as the other one you picked, then I don't care if it's storming, I'm going to my own room." She was only kidding, since there was no way she'd get any sleep if she went back to her own room.

"Okay, good," Matt said, smiling. He laid his arm over Katherine's waist, resting his hand on her lower back. It had been a long time since Matt had a woman in his bed that he hadn't just slept with, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it.

Jimmy laughed, "Nah I picked A Walk To Remember. Thought you'd might like it." He said to her with a light smile. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer to him.

Katherine smiled at the tone of his voice. It'd been so long since she'd been so close to a man like this. She kept close to him and pulled the cover tighter to her back. "This is very nice." She said glancing up at him.

Candace made a face. "Isn't that a Nicholas Sparks movie?" she asked. She didn't do the whole sappy romantic movie thing. But she was too lazy to get up and dig through his movies for something else. "But if you like it, then I'll watch it."

Matt smiled. "Yeah, it is," he mumbled sleepily. He yawned, closing his eyes as he tried to fall asleep. Matt wished he had the ability to fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, but unfortunately he didn't.

Jimmy laughed slightly, "I don't like them thought you might." Jimmy said as he turned the movie off and turned it onto the dish. He handed Candace's the controller and smiled at her. "There you go." He said to her. "Find what you want to watch." He told her smiling.

Katherine could tell he was sleepy and was having trouble. She took and kept close to him and sighed lightly to herself.

"Romantic movies are awful," Candace said, flipping through the channels. "They're so cheesy and unrealistic." She grinned at Jimmy. "Why the hell do you own that movie in the first place?"

After about fifteen minutes or so, Matt finally felt himself starting to drift off to sleep. It helped a little that the thunderstorm had started to pick up outside. Thunder always made him sleepy.

Jimmy laughed, "I don't it's one of the maids. She lent it to me and told me to watch it. But I didn't." Jimmy grinned getting comfortable in the bed. "Your shoulder feeling ok?" Jimmy asked her smiling.

Katherine shifted slightly but remaining in his grasp. She let her eyes finally shut again as she took and heard the rain hitting the roof. And the thunder rumbling. Storms made her sleepy, and she was glad it was storming tonight.

"It still hurts a little," Candace answered. "But niwh near as much as it did earlier." She continued to flip through the channels until she finally settled on The Simpsons. She winced as thunder rumbled outside, sounding very close to the house.

Matt woke up a few hours later when the power went out. That always woke him up, because everything in the house shut down. With a quiet groan, Matt carefully slipped out of bed and out of Katherine's room, heading down to the basement where the breakers were.

Jimmy noticed that Candace had drifted off during the show as he took and frowned when the power kicked. He groaned silently to himself and got up. He took and got out of the bed as he headed for the basement. He saw Matt already at the breakers as he flashed his flashlight towards Matt to help him out. "Didn't think it was going to be this powerful." Jimmy said to Matt.

Katherine rolled lightly as she saw Matt gone. She rubbed her eyes lightly and sat up seeing the power was out. She frowned hearing the thunder as she quickly got out of the bed. She knew if Jimmy were gone from Candace's side and she woke up. She could go into a panic attack. Katherine walked to Jimmy's room and climbed in the bed to keep Candace company till the men came back.

Candace woke up suddenly when there was a loud crash of thunder nearby. She looked around and noticed that it was completely dark and at first thought Jimmy had turned off the TV, but when she looked over he wasn't next to her in the bed. The door opened a few minutes later and Candace was expecting Jimmy, but it was Katherine who came inside and climbed into bed with her. "I guess the storm knocked the power out," she said.

"Yeah, me neither," Matt agreed. "But you know how the weather is, it can change in a fucking heartbeat. Why don't you go get that battery powered radio and see if you can find out how bad it's supposed to get?" Matt put the flashlight in his mouth and started to flip some switches, hoping that maybe he could get the power to come back on. But it didn't look like he was going to be able to, at least not until the storm was over. "Might as well go back to fucking bed," he grumbled.

Jimmy took and nodded his head, "Yeah might as well." He said as he walked with Matt back up the stairs. "This sure is one freak of a storm." Jimmy said to Matt as they were walking. "I can tell you're taking a liking to Katherine." Jimmy grinned.

Katherine held to Candace as they laid under the blanket. "Guess it did." Katherine sighed frowning. "I am beginning not to like this storm." Katherine mumbled getting a little scared herself.

"This is why I fucking hate storms," Candace grumbled. She hoped the guys would be able to get the power back on but she doubted that they'd be able to, since it was still storming so bad. "You need to tell Matt to call the electric company so they know our power's out," Candace told Katherine.

Matt rolled his eyes. "You're one to talk," he said. "What about you and Candace?" It seemed like they'd both taken a liking to their newest coworkers. Matt wasn't sure where he wanted to take things with Katherine, but for now he was enjoying having someone next to him in bed.
