Klaus smiled down at her, but kept his smugness at bay. After all these years and he still could get her to do whatever the hell he wanted her to do. "I will be waiting," he told her. He knew the risk she was taking. Hell, Marcel was taking that risk right now as they spoke. He would never get in trouble though; he never wanted to see her hurt. He would kill anyone who laid a hand on her. "They would do much worse that drive a stake through your heart," he replied casually, "but I would never let anyone hurt you. I would do anything to protect you," he added seriously.

Eleanor took off, but she didn't go far. As much as she didn't want to be near Elijah right now she had to stick close. Sophie was her main priority right now and she let Elijah distract her from that. She had parked her bike in an alley only a few blocks from the bar. She wanted to stay close in case Sophie decided to show Elijah whatever the hell she was hiding. She was going to find out whatever it was.

Charlie nodded at his words and smiled lightly, "I will see you tonight then." She said before turning and walking towards the church again. She shook her head to herself, "What the hell are you doing, Charlie?" She asked herself and sighed before continuing on down, taking back alleys because of the fact that nobody knew where they were hiding Davina or even the fact that they had Davina. Once she arrived she went up to the top of the church with smile and walked into the room, "Hey Davina." She said to the girl once she was greeted with a hug, "You seem off." Davina stated instead of a greeting. Charlie shook her head, "I'm fine. Just came to ask you if you know why Jane-Anne wanted to bring the Original vampires here." Charlie questioned. Davina shook her head, "I have no idea." Davina replied. Charlie nodded and sat down on the bed with a sigh.

Elijah raised his eyebrows when Sophie said she had something to show him. He walked with her in silence as they went towards the cemetery. He went to go walk in, but couldn't, "This is sacred ground, which means you have to be invited in. But since I'm desperate, you can come in." Sophie said. Elijah looked down at his feet as he walked in before he looked over at Sophie as he was lead towards the back of the cemetery. She started to talk to him about her sister and how she was killed by Marcel. He then proceeded to listen as she spoke about a werewolf girl that apparently was carrying his brother's child. He thought it to be impossible, vampires couldn't have children. Sophie explained to him how Klaus was made to be a vampire but was born a werewolf. So he was able to have children.

Klaus leaned against the railing on his balcony as his eyes watched the street below him. He couldn't help the smile on his face knowing that he had so easily convinced Charlotte to come to his hotel. It had actually put him in a good mood. What made it even better was that Marcel was throwing a party tonight at the compound; he wouldn't even know his right-hand girl was gone. He was surprised when he had visited Marcel after seeing her, that Marcel actually extended an invitation to him. He might have to pay a visit later in the night, but for now he was waiting for Charlotte's arrival. He glanced over his shoulder to the bedroom behind him. He could see the alarm clock flashing that it was nearing nine thirty and he had yet to see Charlotte walking along the street. He was growing more frustrated by every passing second. She knew how much he liked people arriving on time and yet she was nowhere to be seen.

Eleanor walked around the compound with a glass of wine in her hand and a sour look on her face. She hated when all the vampires got together and here she was, forced into staying by Marcel. She just wanted to slap that shiteating grin off Marcel's face every time she saw him. To say the least, Marcel wasn't too happy that she didn't get any information from Sophie. She had spent hours outside that cemetery, but she couldn't see or hear a thing. Eleanor moved towards Marcel; keeping the displeased look on her face as she stood by his side. "I have had a terrible day Marcel, can I go home now? You invited Klaus here and I swear to god if you invited Elijah too I am going to start a fight."

Charlie had been looking forward to that moment all night and Marcel was ruining it. She had a plan. She was going to sneak away from the party to go meet up with Klaus, but it felt like everywhere she went Marcel was there to watch over her. Charlie wanted nothing more than to just run off and go find Klaus, but she knew she couldn't. She had to act like she hadn't seen him yet. Marcel had told her that Klaus had dropped by after she went to speak with Davina. Charlie had to act shocked that he would come talk to Marcel, when she knew that was where he was headed the whole time. She looked over when Ella was talking to Marcel and she took that as her moment to escape. She went up to her room quickly to make sure she still looked alright before she went to the Palace Royale. She already knew that she was late and that Klaus would be angry with her, but it wasn't like she could tell Marcel she made plans.

Elijah walked around the room at the Royale. He watched as Klaus stood out on the balcony. Elijah could see his brother was tense. Klaus had informed Elijah that Charlotte was supposed to stop by at around that time. He figured that was why he was tense. Elijah needed to make a plan now about Hayley and the baby. He needed her away from the witches for the time being. She was safer with him and his family. He needed Klaus to realize that this was a serious matter. Elijah needed his brother to realize what this could mean for their family. Elijah knew that he would have to go to Marcel and make a deal with him in order to gain the trust of the witches to release Hayley to him. He was prepared to do whatever it took.

Klaus grew tired of waiting from the moment it was only one minute past nine thirty. There would only be one person who would stop her from leaving and that person would've been Marcel. He pushed himself away from the balcony and headed inside. "I have a party to attend brother. I suggest you stay away from the compound tonight. Marcel is getting nervous that there are two original vampires here. I wonder what he will thing when Rebecca shows up?" He stated with a smirk. "As for the wolf and the baby, I don't care what you do with them. Kill them for all I car," he mumbled the last part before he walked briskly past Elijah and out the door. He had no time for chit chat with his brother. He was furious that Charlotte didn't show up and he was even more furious that she would be at that party rather than with him. Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to use her to begin with. He needed to gain Marcel's trust first. He had several ideas on how that could be done. With his smirk firmly plastered on his face, he moved as fast as he could to the compound.

"Klaus will be coming, but I did tell him I'd prefer it if it was only him," Marcel told her in reply with a small smirk. Eleanor raised an eyebrow, but did not say a word until he would say the one thing she wanted to hear. "Go. Enjoy the rest of your night. I had to pay you out somehow. Not as good as you say your are Ella," he teased which only made her roll her eyes in return.

"You are a smartass Marcel Gerard." She gave him a small smile before she walked away from him and out of the compound. She cuddled into her long coat as she walked the streets of the French Quarter. She wasn't planning on going home just yet, but she wasn't sure where she was heading either. A part of her wanted to try with Sophie again. She knew Elijah wouldn't be anywhere near her right now, but she didn't want to do business tonight and she didn't want to risk running into him again. She sighed softly to herself and just kept walking with no destination in sight.

Charlie took a breath and gave herself one more look in the mirror as she walked out of her room to the stairs. She noticed Ella leaving the party before her eyes found Marcel. Charlie noted that one minute he seemed to be having the time of his life and the next minute she saw him tense. Charlie's eyes scanned the room for the threat out of habit. She couldn't seem to find any. She watched as Marcel turned and faced the door, and that's when she saw him. Klaus. Klaus please don't do what I think you're going to. She thought. If Klaus was going to cause a scene she would really rather not be there. She would have to side with Marcel. She couldn't show weakness in front of the other vampires. She couldn't show disloyalty in front of Marcel. She sat back and watched the scene play out before her, hoping it didn't come down to sides.

Elijah nodded at Klaus's words. There was no way that Elijah was going to just sit back and let Klaus screw everything up. He knew his brother was upset, and now he was heading to the compound. Elijah knew this wouldn't be a peaceful visit. He needed to be there for his brother as backup. But Elijah was going to keep to the shadows. He wouldn't come out unless he needed to. Elijah didn't plan on staying long either. If Klaus showed he could handle himself, then Elijah wasn't going to hover to watch him do whatever he felt like he needed to do. If anything he was going to the witches to see if they could give him more time to get Klaus to agree to the deal.

The way Marcel talked to him absolutely infuriated him. He could feel the anger inside of him bubbling up. He talked about how this was his town and that he ruled this town. That was never the case. This was his home. He and his family built this town until they had to leave because their father had ruined what they had here. Marcel was not king of this town, he was. Not to mention his rules, but he knew breaking one of those rules would piss Marcel off as much as he was annoyed. Klaus glanced around the room. He couldn't see Charlie, but he sure as hell could see Thierry. The more Marcel talked about this being his town the more Klaus couldn't control himself. He sped towards Thierry and sunk his fangs into his neck. The moment he pulled away he smirked at Marcel. "You speak of these rules and yet I am immortal and I cannot be killed.

The moment she saw Klaus stomping into the compound she knew all hell was going to break loose and she swore under her breath. This was the last thing she wanted to deal with tonight. She would've preferred to deal with Elijah than Klaus and his inability to control himself. She closed her eyes and sucked in a deep breath before she sped back towards the compounded. She had to be there for Marcel if Klaus decided to try and kill every single vampire who followed Marcel. Her fangs were out the moment she was back inside. She watched as bit Thierry and she wanted to jump at the chance to at least snap his neck and give them peace until he woke again, but the look Marcel quickly shot her told her that she wasn't allowed to. She stood there ready to pounce.

Charlie frowned at how Marcel spoke to Klaus, knowing it was just going to piss him off even more. She prepared herself for whatever he was going to do. What she was expecting was nothing compared to what he actually did, "Thierry!" She cried out before she sped down to him, behind Klaus. She helped him stand up and made sure he was okay. She knew that Klaus' bite would kill Thierry and she couldn't believe that Klaus would stoop that low. Given the fact that Thierry and Charlie were both Marcel's right hand, they had both become really close. Charlie thought of him as her brother and her best friend. She looked over at Marcel with tears in her eyes as she held up her best friend. Marcel's gaze went from hers to Klaus' and back to Charlie.

Elijah watched as Klaus bit Thierry before there was a cry and suddenly Charlotte was by the vampire's side, helping him up. It was clear that Thierry and Charlotte were close, which Elijah knew wouldn't make Klaus any happier about this situation. Elijah's eyes drifted to behind Klaus as he noticed Eleanor there, ready to pounce on Klaus even though it was clear that Marcel objected. Marcel and Elijah both knew how it would end if Klaus were to feel attacked or threatened. Everyone in the compound would be dead within a matter of minutes. Elijah watched as Charlotte looked at Marcel with tears in her eyes, already knowing what this meant for her friend. Elijah knew this had to make Klaus want to rethink everything. Charlotte obviously meant something to Klaus and he hoped that seeing her like this would make his brother actually feel something.

Klaus stepped back and let out a laugh. He couldn't let anything show when Charlotte came running for Thierry. He knew he had hurt her and that was something he never wanted to do, but Marcel had pushed one too many buttons tonight and he had to take matters into his own hands. This was not going to be his home for much longer and he was going to knock the crown off of his head even if it meant killing him. He had enough of Marcel and his attitude. He was going to show him who was boss around here. "You're friend is going to be dead by the weekend," Klaus stated simply and without a care as he wiped blood away from his chin.

"I hold all the power!" Klaus shouted. "If you want to take that from me Marcel, then do it." Klaus stared down Marcel, but soon let out a laugh when he didn't make a move. "No one?" He questioned as his eyes looked at the rest of the vampires and they soon landed on the only person who was ready to pounce. He tilted his head and smirked at her. She looked familiar and he couldn't place where he had seen her before.

She wanted to snap his neck just to stop his chatter. She was growing more and more agitated with every passing second. She was even more agitated that Marcel wouldn't let her do what she wanted to do. She knew it would end up with her dying and she would have preferred to die after she had attempted to kill the first person on her list, but he bit her friend. She had shared a few drinks with Thierry throughout the years and he was one of the only vampires she could stand in the Quarter, besides Charlotte and Marcel. When his eyes turned on her she could only smirk in response to the look on his face. She knew he recognized her, but he did not know who she was. The one thing about Klaus she knew was that he always liked to know everything. She wasn't scared of him, not even when she was human because Niklaus was good for one thing and that was killing anyone who stood in his was or who he didn't like and yet she was still here. They may not have gotten along, but he had plenty of opportunities to kill her and he never took it.

Charlie's mind was reeling. How could he do this and not act like he cared that she was clearly hurt? She didn't give a damn about his quest for power. Charlie shook her head as she looked from Thierry over to Klaus, "You son of a bitch." She seethed at him. She wanted to hit him, to do something. She knew that Marcel wouldn't let her. Charlie was so angry in that moment if she could move away from Thierry, she would have actually considered snapping his neck or shoving something through this chest to cause him some pain. She just couldn't believe that this is what he had become. Charlie looked back at Thierry and frowned before she started to walk him towards his room in the compound to get him some rest. When she got to Marcel she looked at him sadly, "If he didn't have the ability to kill all of us right now, I would gladly say take him down. Hell I'd even be in line to throw in a few solid hits." She said to Marcel, but loud enough where she knew Klaus had heard. She hoped her words hurt. God did she hope they hurt.

Elijah shook his head as he watch Klaus laugh at Charlotte's reaction to Thierry getting bit. He knew his brother had to have been upset by the fact that he clearly hurt Charlotte. Elijah watched as he challenged Marcel and the rest of the vampires in the compound, knowing that nobody would actually go up against him. He was shocked, however, when he heard Charlotte call him a son of a bitch. He took a breath, knowing that it would clearly upset Klaus. Though what Charlotte said next to Marcel as she was walking Thierry out of the area, made Elijah cringe slightly. It hurt even Elijah to hear Charlotte speak that way about Klaus, knowing that she must have been really hurt in order for her to say something like that. Elijah knew better than anyone how Charlotte felt about Klaus and how Klaus felt about Charlotte. Her words were just out of spite and Elijah knew that she wanted to hurt Klaus in the process like he had hurt her.

Klaus was hurt from her words, but he would never show them how much they affected him. He didn't want them to see him weak just because of what some girl said to him. They didn't need to know that she was one of his weaknesses and he didn't need them to use that against him. He let the anger sweep across his face as he let out another simple laugh and clapped his hands together in a sign that he was amused by what she had said.

"Go for it love. Actually, I'd challenge everyone here to attempt to take me down," Klaus stated with a simple shrug of his shoulders. "Might as well get this pathetic attempt over and done with now rather than waiting."

"I'd happily start it off if you were at the top of my people I want to kill list," Eleanor stated as she moved around Niklaus and kept her eyes on him at all times in case he tried to attack her just from that one statement. "May be hard to believe, but you are surprisingly number three on my list. I'd prefer to die going after number one." A part of her hoped that Elijah was lurking around the compound to hear that. After today, he had reached her number one spot.

"I'm almost flattered," he told the girl. The moment she spoke it slowly sunk in to who she was and he was pleased, but also rather surprised. She was just some human the last time he saw her and he was, honestly, surprised that she wasn't actually dead. "But it looks like no one is going to step up. Pathetic." Klaus chuckled and shook his head before he turned his back to the group of vampires as he headed out of the compound.

Charlie rolled her eyes at Klaus's words as she walked with Thierry up to his room. She was done listening to him talk and just wanted to focus on Thierry, "Charlie I know you're hurting." Thierry mumbled as Charlie helped him onto his bed. Thierry was the only one besides Marcel that knew how she still felt about Klaus because she considered him to be her best friend and she told him everything. The two of them were thick as thieves and knew everything about each other. Charlie shook her head at Thierry's words, "I'm fine. I'm focusing on you right now." She stated as she got some towels to clean off his wound, knowing it was going to start looking worse with time, "Charlie, you love him. I know that you're upset." "Thierry right now I hate him. He bit you. I don't want anything to do with him." She stated. He opened his mouth to speak, but Charlie shook her head again, "No Thierry. That's enough. I'm focusing on you. I'm taking care of my best friend right now."

Elijah shook his head at Klaus's words to Charlotte. Elijah knew why Klaus was putting up this front in front of the other vampires, but he didn't understand why he was just pushing it. Elijah knew that Charlotte wasn't going to forgive him for killing her best friend so easily. Elijah knew Charlotte very well and he knew this issue wouldn't go away without a fight. When Ella spoke to Klaus, Elijah rolled his eyes slightly. He knew that Klaus was so far down on her list because he was probably in the number one spot. Elijah watched as his brother walked out of the compound and he went to go follow him, knowing that with his anger in that moment he was going to probably do something rash, and Elijah needed to be there to stop it before it got out of hand.

The moment Niklaus was out of sight from anyone in the compound he stormed away without a destination in sight. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do now. He had just lost the trust that Marcel still had for him and the trust of Charlie; it was going to be a hard thing to get back. He could put his tail between his legs and apologise by giving Thierry his blood to heal, but that was the last thing he wanted to do right now. He didn't want to think about Marcel and his gang of vampires and he sure as hell didn't want to think about Charlie how how he was supposed to make it up to her. He had never been one to control his anger and he just had to do things out of impulse. He needed a drink and that was what he was going to get.

Eleanor was over tonight already. She was over having the Originals in town and she was over the god damn drama. She wanted it to go back how it was before Elijah and Klaus showed it. Everything ran smoother, there was no drama that she was involved in and she didn't have to think about running into Elijah. Since Klaus wanted his crown back, she was sure they were going to be sticking around for a lot longer than she hoped, but maybe that was a good thing too. Maybe she would be able to find a way to actually kill them. With a loud sigh she followed where Charlie had gone off with Thierry. She walked in without even announcing herself and leaned against the wall with her arms folded against her chest. "Love is such a horrible thing," she said when she heard that word slip out of Thierry's mouth. "Makes you naive and blind to what is really going on. And I hope you really mean that you want nothing to do with him Charlie. He's nothing but bad news and you saw what he does when something petty annoys him."

Charlie looked over when Ella came in and said something about Klaus. She hated that she still had to act like she hadn't seen Klaus earlier that day, "I know. I'm loyal to Marcel and I always will be." She said with a sigh. Charlie was still in rage at what Klaus had done to Thierry, and at that moment if she could kill him then she would. Thierry was her best friend and now she was going to lose him. She was very torn up inside about everything. Charlie stood up and quickly got a warm wet rag and placed it on Thierry's forehead, "Get some rest." She said. Charlie had been around long enough to know what a werewolf bite does to a vampire and how it effects them.

Elijah followed Klaus out of the compound and to where he was going, "Brother." He stated as he came up behind him. He was honestly tired of this reckless attitude and now that Hayley was in the picture, Elijah was determined to changed his brother. He knew that this child would be able to help Klaus. He could just feel it. Elijah didn't care what Klaus said about Hayley or the baby, he knew that his brother cared, "How is biting Marcel's right hand supposed to gain you trust in his inner circle?" He asked, "How is this supposed to help us?" Maybe a little tough love would be good for his brother to see, "Now Charlotte doesn't even trust you!" He yelled at his brother, hoping to get through to him.

"I hope you are Charlie," Eleanor mumbled more to herself than to Charlie. She did like Charlie, but it didn't mean that she completely trusted her. Like she had said, love made people naive and weak and she had a lot of love for Klaus. That made her worry and if Klaus knew he would take advantage of that. Even with all the hatred inside of her for Elijah, she still felt that little bit weak having him in New Orleans. Eleanor pursed her lips together as she pushed herself away from the wall. "Take your own advice Charlie. You need some rest as well. The war is just beginning." With that, Eleanor made her way out of the room and out of the compound without a goodbye to Marcel. She needed to get away from all the vampires in the town for a few hours so she could concentrate on getting her plan together. She needed to figure out why they were in town. She needed leverage.

"Not now Elijah," Niklaus snapped at his older sibling. He wasn't in the mood for one of Elijah's god damn lectures. He didn't need to hear how he screwed up tonight or how he lost Marcel and Charlotte's trust. He knew he would be able to gain it back over time, but for now he was going to make the worry just for his own satisfaction. He had decided he was going to apologize by giving Thierry his blood, but maybe he could use his brothers help on this one. "I guess it's your turn to have some fun brother," he told Elijah. "You're going to have a little chat to Marcel and to Eleanor de Rue. I was rather surprised to see your human plaything still alive and kicking."

Charlie nodded at Ella's words before the girl had told Charlie to get some rest and then left, "Ella is right, Charlie. You need to get rest." Thierry said to her. Charlie shook her head, "I'm not leaving you by yourself." She stated. He rolled his eyes and coughed a couple times, causing Charlie to jumped help him, "I'm fine. I'm fine." He coughed out. Charlie frowned and went and rewetted the cloth she had put on his head. She brought it back and placed it on his head gently, "Charlie you need to rest. Marcel is going to need you now more than ever since I can't be there." Thierry said, making Charlie frown, "Thierry I'm not leaving you." She repeated, "He's right, Charlie. You need to rest. I'll stay with awake." Marcel said coming in behind them. Charlie frowned and nodded, knowing that she couldn't argue with Marcel. She looked between the both of them as she stood up, "I'll sleep but I'm sleeping in here." She said and grabbed a blanket before curling up on the chair next to Thierry's bed.

Elijah was a bit taken back by Klaus's words, shocked that he recognized Eleanor fast than he had, "Yes well apparently our sister was the one to turn her and never told us." He said. He was still having a hard time with the fact that she was alive, and throwing on top all of this business with Hayley and the witches, "Niklaus you have to agree to Sophie's deal. This baby could bring hope to our family and reunite us all once again." He pleaded to his brother. He needed to make Klaus see that this baby was a good thing, not another nuisance that he could just throw aside and act like it was nothing. Elijah wouldn't let him do that. Not this time.
