Trying to create a layout

I usually create my own layouts, but lately I've had to shy away from that because of a problem I'm having.

I've been missing making layouts, so I'd figure that I'd come here.

When I go to put in a banner at the title, the banner where only show if text is there, and the size of the text is how much the banner will show. I don't know if this is happening with everyone or not. If anyone can help, that would be great.

Have you tried changing the Padding (under Title, Box)? That's what I mainly use to make my banners fit, and also Line Height (under Title, Text) can make a difference.

I believe you do need text to make the image show, but there are ways around this, such as making the text tiny and the same colour as the bottom of the banner, or even pushing it below the banner and making it white (or whatever colour your content background is).

I have changed the padding, and that doesn't help. I used to be able to have the text at 0, and the banner would show completely as long as the padding was right, now it's not like that.

I don't think I've ever been able to have the text as zero Can you get it to work if the text is there, even at size one?

I just tried it and things worked for me I'll go through my steps, maybe something accidentally got missed when you were doing it.

Go to Title > Background > Paste the link in Image
I always put "no repeat" in the Repeat section and keep it at "scroll" in the Attachment section and "center top" in the Position section.

Go to Text > Size > Set to 0 (if you don't want the title there)

Go to Box > Padding > Type in whatever number you need to so you can see the whole picture.

You should be able to see the whole picture then.

If it's at size 1, then the picture will be that small.

You can request a layout in the Graphics and Layouts Requests thread, or there are lots of Graphics Shops that can help you out
