    Esther

    Ryder Leighton

Ryder is a 22 year old guy who hasn’t had to work a day in his life as he is fed money by his parents, his life is easy, all he had to do was complete school and then do whatever he wanted his parents never pushed him to be anything great not because they didn’t care but because they thought it was best for him to choose in his own time.
Ryder was born in New York and lived there until his was 13 until he dad had to take a position in outback Australia. From the ages 13-21 he lived in the rural township of Wudinna, his mother got a job as a primary school teacher while his father constantly worked away in the either other small townships or in the big cities. Ryder hated it.
Wudinna was where he met Kenzi, she was a local girl and the two formed a friendship and through high school feelings began to change into more than just friendship however Ryder moved back to the states leaving a broken hearted Mackenzie behind.
And now at 22 he has become somewhat of a ladies man, constantly out partying and enjoy the company of other people. However when things get crazy with his parents he decides he needs to move away and the best place is the UK.

    Mackenzie “Kenzi” Tyson

Mackenzie is a 21 year old woman who is aspiring to go further in her life then her parents did, she doesn’t want to end up married and living on a farm like most of her friends have done, she wants to get out and explore the world. She is an aspiring fashion designer and received the highest marks in school for her creations. Her parents are proud of her and encourage her to pursue her dreams.
She is studying her career further and has been to several expos where she has displayed her designs which she made herself. It was when she was in one of the cities she was sighted by a larger named designer, Keira McCallum that said she would take her under her wing. Since then Kenzi has been working for her ever since and she has been given the opportunity to continue her work with Kiera over in the UK she couldn’t say no to the opportunity so now here she is. Little does she or Ryder know that they are both staying in the same vicinity

    Kayleigh

    Sean Brenn

Sean comes from a small village in North Wales. His parents divorced when he was seven and his mother remarried while his dad has a long-term girlfriend. He's got one full brother and a sister from his dad's girlfriend and another brother from his mum's husband. Despite all that, both his parents encouraged him in his education even though he preferred to spend his weekends getting drunk in fields with his mates and standing outside shops to pay over-18s to buy him fags. He managed to get into sixth form barely and applied to study Accounting and Finance in university and got into Chester though clearing. Despite his heart belonging in Wales, he stayed after graduating and went into consumer banking. He's a huge rugby fan and supports Chelsea.

    Kelsey Roberts

Kelsey comes from Nottingham, with a family that consists of younger twin sisters and an alcoholic older brother who no one ever sees. When her nan moved in with them just before her fifteenth birthday, she knew that she had to go to uni further away from home. Deciding that English was her favourite, she chose to study English Literature at uni and Chester was her firm choice. She graduated with no firm idea of what career to pursue but instead became a full-time retail worker to continue living in Chester. She loves tennis and supports Tottenham Hotspur.

    Lina

    Jasper Cassidy

Jasper is considered the 'brain' of their group. He is pursuing his postgraduate study part-time while also working as a research assistant for his professor. Despite him being the smart one, Jasper is gullible when it comes to real-life situation that often gets him in trouble. He was adopted after his adopted parents found out that they were barren. Since he was the only child for the rich couple, he had been spoiled by his parents ever since. He can be considered as the 'mummy's boy'. His friends make fun of him about it all the time but he doesn't really mind because he loves his mum and he sees nothing wrong with it.

    Anita Sim
Born and raised in Singapore. Her grandparents were from China that came to the Malayan archipelago during the World War II and her family had resided in the country ever since. She loved food so in high school, she started blogging about the food around her neighbourhood, sold by the street vendors and local food stalls. As she got older, she started travelling all around Singapore for local cuisine's food hunt all the while her blog gaining more readers and followers, especially for tourists that are coming to Singapore in search for Asian cuisine.

By the time she graduated university, her blog had managed to grab the attention of one of the leading publication company in Singapore. She was called to write for their web magazine that was based in the UK and without looking back, Anita packed up her bags and ventured off to the foreign land.

I vote for kicking it off with just the three of us! Just because from experience having more than three ends up tampering off only after starting. Unsure

I'm thinking of either New York or London. But I'm leaning more towards New York. What do you guys think? I'm cool with whichever city. San Francisco seems cool too.

And I know this sounds ambitious. But we can have two characters each? One male and one female so our group will have three women and three men. And will they end up with each other? Ah! So many possibilities I'm so excited! Crazy

I haven't started my characters yet! Facepalm And yeah, two character each is fine with me! Sounds about right. XD

Unpopular opinion, but I'm kind of sick of big cities constantly being used when there's other cities that are just as good existing, you know? London and New York, and San Francisco now that I think about it, are definitely three that are overused, and London is actually a tip in most places. XD What do you guys think about using another big city, or just another city in general? Give other places some love instead of the usual suspects?

Well since I originally thought there'd be 5-6 authors, I thought we first would have one character each to fill the group. But since there are only three of us now, two characters each sounds about right.

    @ Mr. Darcy
Ah. I see what you mean. You have any suggestions for the city?

I guess it depends what country we want? If we're doing it in America, I'd have to look up their cities, but if it's the UK then there's places like Liverpool (hate it!), Manchester, Cardiff, Chester, Newcastle, etc. All cities that can be used and given more love. However, if we want to go against the norm and not set it in America or the UK, then more research would have to be done into cities and countries.

If we're gonna use another country, it should be a place where the people use English, right? Since we'll be writing in English. What about Australia?

Perhaps each character could have come from another country and they move to the one country and form friends ships because they live in the same apartment block kind of thing?

I like this! So maybe one or two (or three?) could be from that country anyway, and the others all moved at various points in their life. That way some of them could have been friends with the native ones from school years, while one or two could have met because they're neighbours or something?
