Getting an internship with Marvel studios was honestly probably one of the best things that had happened to
Wendy in a really long time. She almost hadn't believed the person when she first received the phone call saying that she'd gotten it. She'd honestly thought that someone was punking her, and that Ashton Kutcher was going to pop out circa the early 2000's. As much as she loved Ashton Kutcher, Wendy was glad that he hadn't shown up though, and that she'd actually received the internship. Partially because this was the opportunity she'd been hoping to receive for a while now, and partially because she'd made some really great friends because of it.
While just about every cast member on the Cap 3 set was pretty amazing, and extremely down to earth, Wendy had hit it off with Sebastian and Chris straight away. She and Chris sort of had this brother/sister relationship now, and well, things with Sebastian weren't so black and white. She liked him, he was a great guy, and his lame jokes always got her laughing, but she was constantly reminding herself that they were just friends, and that was how it had to stay if she ever wanted to make a name for herself within Marvel, and just this business in general. She wanted to know that she'd received a job because she'd worked hard, not because she was dating one of the lead actors. That, of course, didn't mean that she couldn't set up her best friend/roommate with Chris though, and that was precisely what she was planning to do.
Her plan had worked perfectly. Annabelle was on her way over right now to drop off her phone charger, and Chris and Sebastian were supposed to meet up with her during their break from filming. When she heard her name being called, she grinned, turning and spotting her best friend walking over to her. "You are a lifesaver, Tink." She said, taking the charger from her friend. "Isn't it? I probably should have told you where I was going to be, save you the time of wandering around, but you found me, so I guess I didn't have to." She let out a quiet laugh. "Oh, it hasn't been too bad today. Just my usual day of running errands and grabbing coffee orders from the Starbucks up the street." She punctuated her words with a slight shrug of her shoulders. At that exact moment, she spotted Sebastian and Chris making their way over to where she and Annabelle were standing. "Yep, this is her." She said in response to Seb's words. "Tink, Sebastian and Chris. Chris, Sebastian, this is my best friend, Annabelle."
Chris liked Wendy. He'd tried getting to know some of the interns Marvel had hired in the past, and they'd all seemed like great people, but Wendy was different. Not in a way that he wanted to date her or anything like that though. No, he sort of saw her like a sister. Plus, that wouldn't have worked anyway, because Sebastian clearly had a thing for her. He was constantly teasing his friend about it too, and badgering him about asking her out already. Sebastian always claimed that Wendy clearly only wanted to be friends with him though, and that he wasn't going to push anything and make things awkward between them. Chris could understand that rationale, however he was half-tempted to talk to Wendy about it all himself. Not like blatantly asking her if she had a thing for Sebastian or telling her that his friend had a thing for her, but sort of just feeling it out in an attempt to determine whether his friend was right or not.
For right now though, he was just going to leave it. He'd let them handle things themselves, but he really did think that they'd be good for each other. He'd hit it off with Wendy pretty early on, but there just seemed to be this instant connection with her and Sebastian, and Chris knew that he wasn't the only one who had noticed it either. "You sure you don't want to hang out just the two of you? Because I could give you both some alone time if that's what you want." He teased, punctuating his words with one of those loud, boisterous laughs of his as he and Sebastian walked to where they were supposed to meet Wendy between scenes.
He spotted the tiny redhead quickly, though she didn't appear to be alone. "I wonder who she's talking to..." He said, not recognizing whoever it was from the set or anything. There was something oddly familiar about her though, and he couldn't quite put his finger on it either. When they reached the girls, he was surprised when Sebastian spoke as though he knew that Wendy's friend was going to be there. He didn't say anything though, and instead took a moment to take in the brunette's appearance. His eyes widened as recognition crossed his face. It had been quite a while since he'd last seen her, but he'd recognize Annie anywhere. He wasn't paying attention much to the introduction Wendy had given, and instead sort of just blurted something out. "Annie?"
