Lately I've Been Craving More

Annie grinned at his words and nodded, "I almost feel like I need to stress about a final, but then I remember I made it through college and getting my masters. Then I relax." She joked as she laid her head on Chris's chest as they swayed back and forth. She was so glad that Wendy and Sebastian weren't there in that moment because she would never hear the end of it from those two over this, "You know you promised me a dog back in college. I don't think you ever delivered on that promise." She teased she looked up at him with a grin. Annie, of course, didn't expect a dog from him now, but it was a thought that made her smile as she thought about their relationship back in college.

Sebastian looked over when Wendy walked in before he cracked a smile, "I hope it wasn't your boyfriend drama because I don't know if I can get back on a plane right now." He teased. When she spoke about her room, Sebastian looked around and grinned, "This is definitely a you room." He replied as he sat down on her bed, "I can just see teenage Wendy writing in her diary about all the TV shows she loved and all the band members she was in love with." He joked as he took her hand, pulling her down onto his bed and wrapping his arms around her.

"Trust me, you would know if it was about you." Wendy said with a slight laugh. She was really glad that Sebastian had agreed to come home with her this weekend. She was excited to introduce him to the rest of her family, and to show him around where she had grown up. She smiled at his later words, leaning her head against his shoulder when he pulled her down onto the bed with him. "Listen, if you were a teenager who grew up in Jersey in the early 2000's you didn't have a choice. You worshipped the ground that Gerard Way and Frank Iero walked on." She said with a laugh. "And there was no diary writing, just Myspace posts that included really shitty mirror selfies taken on a digital camera."

Chris chuckled at her words. He was glad that Wendy and Sebastian weren't here in that moment. Although he enjoyed hanging out with both of them, of course he did they were two of his really good friends, he knew that he wouldn't hear the end of it from them if they were here. And then they would probably tell Mackie and then he would certainly be done for. "Why am I not surprised that you remember something like that?" He asked, letting out a loud laugh. "If it makes you feel better, maybe I'll consider joint custody for Dodger. Maybe. That's a big maybe."

Annie grinned widely at his words before she raised an eyebrow, "I have to meet him first. We don't even know if he'll love me." She replied. Annie did look forward to the day she was able to meet Dodger, though. Chris had shown her many pictures and videos of the dog, and he seemed like he was the sweetest, and she could tell that he held a special place in Chris's heart. Annie was glad to see that Chris's love for dogs didn't fade away, and if anything, it increased since she had seen him in college last. The song changed over to a less slow dancey song, and Annie slowly, and almost unwillingly, pulled away from Chris before smiling up at him, "Thanks for the dance. Glad you didn't step on my toes."

Sebastian laughed at her words and nodded, "You're right, I would know if it was me." He admitted. When she defended herself about her room, he laughed once more before she continued, "God, Myspace feels like forever ago. We're old." He stated, and instantly face-palmed, "Oh no. Forget I said that. Now you're going to go on a rant and tease me about how I'm older than you, and you're not old, and then you'll pooke fun at me for grey hairs that you don't see, and wrinkles that I don't have." He groaned and smirked over at her. He just knew Wendy too well at this point.

"It would be so beyond obvious if it was you." Wendy said with a slight laugh. She didn't think he was someone she could ever really stay mad at though. They hadn't gotten into any real arguments yet, other than the one that led to their relationship, but she just had this feeling that would be the case. "Now that you mention it...I thought I noticed a few grey hairs the other day..." She teased lightly, letting out a quiet laugh soon after. She was only kidding. Of course, she personally thought that he'd age like fine wine, because she'd been watching his works since the Gossip Girl days and he just seemed to get more and more attractive the older her got.

"That's true, he might end up hating you." Chris said. He doubted that would be the case though. Annie had always been an animal person, and to be fair he didn't think that there was any person he'd cover across thus far that Dodger didn't like. It took Annie starting to pull away from him to realize that the song had changed. It certainly wasn't one that could be slow danced to, and he was a bit reluctant to let her go. "Thank you for asking me to dance with you...it was nice...like old times..." He said softly.

Annie pouted at Chris's words, knowing he was kidding. She highly doubted that Dodger would hate her, "Meeting Dodger must include me flying out to LA though. Are you gonna show me all the sights?" She questioned with a grin. Annie was more than willing to spend time with Chris in LA, as long as she was spending time with him, she didn't care where they were, "Yeah just like old times." She replied to his statement.

Sebastian shook his head at her words before he laughed as well. When she joked about grey hairs, he rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, dish it out, whatever. You know I'm going to be a silver fox. Just don't be shocked when I got even double the lady fans once I start getting into my full potential." He teased. Sebastian knew that it didn't matter how many "lady fans" he had, Wendy would be the only girl he would ever look at in that way.

Wendy laughed as she covered her eyes and started counting down from ten. They had just finished eating dinner, and her niece and nephew had insisted on a game of hide and seek. She managed to get Lily in on it as well, glad to see her sister was at least willing to put on a smile now for the kids. She had introduced her parents and the rest of her family to Sebastian earlier that afternoon, and things seemed to be going really well. Her parents seemed to like him, and of course he'd already gotten the seal of approval from her niece and nephew because he made her happy and was Captain America's best friend. She was glad, Sebastian was really important to her, and her family was really important to her, and she hadn't been all that concerned about whether her family would like him or not, but she was still glad that they did. "Ready or not, here I come!" She shouted before running across the yard to search for her niece, nephew and sister.

Chris chuckled softly when he saw the way she was pouting. He had only been kidding. He highly doubted that Dodger would hate her. Annie was really good with animals, she always had been, and he hadn't met a single person that his dog didn't like anyway. "I suppose I could be your tour guide. I can't make any promises that I'll be any good though. My tour guide expertise don't stretch much further passed Disney World and Disney Land." He chuckled once more. "You really should come to LA sometime though. I usually try to do some projects out on the west coast when I'm not filming for Marvel here in Atlanta, so I should be there for a while once filming wraps up for Cap 3."

Annie grinned at Chris's words and nodded, "I would love to. I have only ever been there once, but I didn't get to explore that much as I was shooting a wedding out there." She explained. Annie had always wanted to visit for a long period of time and go explore. If she was being honest, she would absolutely love to spend some more time with Chris. It would be really nice spend more time with him somewhere that wasn't Atlanta or Boston. Not that she didn't love being in Boston, but she spent most of her college career there with Chris. To spend time with him in another state would be amazing. Annie started to clean up their dishes from dinner, putting them in the sink, rinsing them off before putting them in the dish washer. She took a sip of her wine once she was all finished before looking at Chris, "Wanna watch Peter Pan before bed?" She questioned.

Sebastian had offered to help Wendy's mom bring in some stuff from her car while Wendy played with her niece and nephew. He looked over when he heard her shout, stopping in his tracks as he smiled as he watched her run around to look for the two children. The only thought running through his mind was how lucky he was to have her as his girlfriend. Sebastian hadn't even heard Wendy's mom come up behind him until she spoke, "I'd know that look anywhere. That's the look of love." She stated before smirking at him. Sebastian was shocked at her forwardness. The two hadn't been together very long, let alone said anything about love. Though, he wouldn't not say it if it were to come up. He wouldn't even know how to go about telling her if he even could.

Wendy wasn't aware of the conversation being had between her mother and her boyfriend as she ran around the yard, looking for her niece and nephew. She found her niece first, and then her sister, and then she just had her nephew to find. When she did find him, she crept up behind him quietly and grabbed him, causing the young boy to giggle as she picked him up and started tickling his sides. "Aunt Wendy!!" He whined, trying to wiggle out of her grasp as she continued to tickle him. She had missed these kids so much while she was down in Atlanta, and she was glad that she had the opportunity to come up and see them before she headed to Europe for the second half of filming.

"Awesome, we can figure out when once Cap 3 gets closer to wrapping up." Chris said with a smile. He couldn't believe that they were already done with a decent chunk of filming, and he wouldn't be at all surprised if things moved along, or seemed to anyway, just as quickly once they started filming in Europe in two weeks time. He helped her finish clearing off the table, and scoffed jokingly when she asked him if he wanted to watch Peter Pan before bed. "Is that even a question? Of course, I want to watch Peter Pan before bed." He said as though it were the most obvious response in the world. "I feel insulted hat you even had to ask me if I wanted to watch it, Annie."

Annie laughed at his words before she shrugged, "I just wanted to make sure you weren't ready for bed, and I wanted to make sure you didn't want to watch a different Disney movie. I had to make sure. You are my guest, after all." She replied with a grin before popping the DVD into the DVD Player and pressing play on the remote. She sat down on the couch and got comfy next to Chris, cuddling into his side, wrapped in her blanket. This had become the new normal between the two of them, cuddling and watching movies. The cuddling was awkward at first, at least to Annie, but the awkwardness soon subsided, and it became natural to her.

Sebastian was still shocked at Wendy's mom's words but tried to shake it off as he followed her into the kitchen, setting down the bags he had in his hands. He tried to not bring anything up to Wendy's mom, and she wasn't going to talk about it either apparently, "Sebastian, would you mind calling everyone in for ice cream?" She asked with a smile. Sebastian smiled before he walked to the door and opened it, "Who wants ice cream sundaes?!" He called out with a grin. He heard to loud "I do's!" followed by the children running into the house happily, ready for ice cream. Sebastian watched for Wendy and Lily with a smile.

Wendy and her sister ran back towards the house just as fast as the kids had when they heard Sebastian call out the door about ice cream sundaes. "Hi." She said, pausing by the door to peck her boyfriend lightly on the lips. It was just a quick kiss, but the kids had noticed her actions, earning them a chorus of ew's and "That's gross, Aunt Wendy!!" Unbeknownst to her, her mother was watching the exchange with a knowing expression on her face. Wendy let out a quiet laugh and shook her head, sticking her tongue out childishly at her niece and nephew before glancing up to her boyfriend with a smile. "Help me make my sundae?" She asked him.

"I could never be too tired for a Disney movie, Annie. We might be getting old, but I'm not going to choose to go to bed over watching a classic like Peter Pan." Chris said with a chuckle as he followed her into the living room. He took a seat next to her on the couch, smiling and wrapping an arm around her shoulders when she cuddled into his side. He was really glad that Wendy and Sebastian weren't there to read way too far into things and probably send him texts about how he was cuddling with Annie on the couch. Friends were allowed to do things like that even if they were friends who had once dated.

Annie raised her eyebrows at his words, "Excuse me. WE are not getting old. YOU are getting old. I'm in my prime." She stated before looking up at him briefly before the movie started and Annie shushed him before he could protest or say anything more. She knew that he was only a few months older than she was, so she was also getting old, but she liked to tease him that he was older than she was.

Throughout the movie, Annie had dozed on and off a couple times. Eventually just completely falling asleep, her head leaning on Chris's shoulder. Annie hadn't gone to work that day, but had spent most of the day packing for the weekend ahead of her, making sure all of her cameras worked, going out and getting extra things for just in case. On top of all that, she was running on three hours of sleep, not being able to sleep the night before for some odd reason, probably because Chris hadn't slept over the night before.

Sebastian smiled at Wendy, "Hey." He replied before he grinned even wider when she kissed him, quickly placing a hand on her hip as he kissed her back. He pulled away with a raise of his eyebrows at the words from her niece and nephew. Sebastian chuckled before he nodded at Wendy's question, "Of course." He replied before he pulled her in closer, leaning over to whisper in her ear, "Do I get to use the whipped cream and syrup on you later?" He questioned before he pulled away with a smirk.

Sebastian scurried into the kitchen when Wendy's mother scolded them for taking so long, saying that the ice cream was going to melt by the time they had gotten into the kitchen. Sebastian quickly grabbed a bowl for he and Wendy to share, and stood next to Wendy's nephew, "What are you putting in yours?" He questioned, "Gummy bears!" The little boy replied. Sebastian grinned, "Oh that sounds delicious. Good choice." Sebastian stated.

Wendy was really just so happy right now. She was home with her family, and Sebastian was there with her. She was certain that this was rounding out to be a perfect long weekend. She let out a laugh when he pulled back at her niece and nephew's complaints, and smiled when he said he'd help her with her sundae. But then he was leaning back in close to her, and she bit her lower lip at his words. Fuck, he was going to be the death of her, but two could definitely play at that game. She was so going to get him back later for that comment, but she wouldn't do it now. No, she'd wait until he wasn't expecting it.

Her mother scolding them took her out of her own thoughts and she was quick to follow her boyfriend into the kitchen. "Gummy bears are good, but Oreos are better." She said, chiming into the conversation as she walked up behind her boyfriend. "Mom, you're amazing." She said with a grin when she saw that there was chocolate peanut butter ice cream: her absolute favorite. "I made sure your father picked a half-gallon of it up when we went grocery shopping this week." Her mother said before adding, "That'll be gone by tomorrow, I'm sure."

Chris chuckled and held his hands up in defense at Annie's words. "Alright, I'm sorry, let me rephrase my statement: I'm getting old. Is that better?" He asked, punctuating his words with a raised eyebrow. It was moments like this when he truly realized just how much he missed Annie. Work had kept him busy enough over the years, but she always managed to slip into his mind at the oddest of times. And now he honestly couldn't thank whoever was out there that was responsible for making their paths cross again, because he wasn't going to make the same mistake as last time. He wasn't going to fuck things up with her again.

He was quiet after that, focusing his attention on the movie some. Of course, he did glance over to Annie every so often and noticed that she dozed off here and there. He didn't realize she'd fallen completely asleep until he felt the small weight against his shoulder. Glancing down, he saw that she was out like a light. Smiling, he brushed some of the hair out of her face before carefully reaching for the remote as not to jostle her awake as he turned the TV off. Then he stood up, hooking an arm underneath her legs and lifting her up with ease so that he could carry her down the hall to her bedroom.

Annie could feel herself being moved, but didn't even wake up in the slightest. If anything, she cuddled closer to Chris as he carried her to her bedroom. Once in her bed, she grumbled in her sleep as she unconsciously searched around for Chris's body before she pulled herself closer and cuddled in close next to him. It had become almost natural for when Chris spent the night that he slept in her bed now. Annie couldn't sleep well if he wasn't there. It was probably the reason she had slept like shit the entire time the two had been away from each other, her becoming an insomniac of sorts during that time.

Sebastian found Wendy's reaction to be comical. He knew he would end up paying for his words, but it wouldn't be now. When she spoke about how Oreos were better than gummy bears, Sebastian shook his head, "Oreos and gummy bears together, or I walk." He stated with a small laugh. When her mother spoke about getting a half gallon of ice cream for Wendy, but knowing it would be gone by tomorrow, he laughed, "Well I'm glad to see it's not just back at your apartment that you're like that." He teased her before he took some scoops of ice cream and put it in the bowl.

(ah these are short I'm sorry. I had what I wanted to write and then blanked.)

Wendy would get her boyfriend back later. She already had an idea as to how she was going to do so, she just intended on waiting things out a bit until she knew that she'd catch him off-guard. "Fine, brat." She said, rolling her eyes playfully when he said that he wanted Oreos and gummy bears. "Listen, Stan, you should be used to how much I love food by now." She laughed. When they'd first started hanging out on set, he'd always question where she put all of the food that she ate. She'd been blessed with a decent metabolism, and she was never one to turn down food, especially when it was chocolate peanut butter ice cream. "You've gotta put whipped cream first then the rest of the toppings." She told her boyfriend as he put a few scoops of ice cream into their bowl.

Chris smiled when he saw that she seemed to curl into his chest a bit as he carried her down the hallway. He was glad that he didn't wake her up when he lifted her up off of the couch, and he wasn't at all surprised that she didn't wake up when he set her down on the bed either. She really was out. He knew that she slept like a rock when she was really tired, so he was sure she'd been busy getting some last minute things checked on her cameras and putting things together to bring for the wedding that weekend, so he was sure she was pretty damn tired even though she hadn't shown it until she'd fallen asleep on him in the middle of Peter Pan. He'd tease her about it tomorrow most likely. Once he had her in bed, her tucked her in before climbing in next to her and wrapping an arm around her to pull her closer before he simply looked down at her for a couple of seconds. Then, he leaned down, and pressed a feather-light kiss to her forehead.

Sebastian grinned excitedly as Wendy agreed to do gummy bears and Oreos on the sundae. He nodded at her words, "I am used to it, babe, but I was just glad to see you aren't just like this back at your apartment." He replied with a smile. When she spoke about having to put whipped cream on before the rest of the toppings, "What do you mean you put the whipped cream on first?! You layer the toppings and put the whipped cream and chocolate syrup on last! This is blasphemy, you have no idea how to make a sundae!" He argued at her with a small smirk playing on his features.

"I have no idea how to make a sundae? I'm sorry, I think you're confused. My sundaes are masterpieces." Wendy countered, bumping her hip lightly against his. Chris and Annie always made fun of them for bickering like an old married couple. Most of their bickering was all in good fun though, they hadn't really gotten into an actual argument yet. Of course, their relationship was still new, so it was bound to happen eventually. "First we have to put gummy bears on the sundae, then you criticize my sundae making skills. That's so rude." She stuck her lower lip out in a slight pout.

"Not when you put the toppings on last!" He replied with a shake of his head. He knew the back and forth between them was all in good fun. When she spoke again about him being rude, Sebastian shook his head once more, "I'm not being rude. I'm being truthful. You are not making these sundaes to the best they can be, and I think someone needs to tell you that." He explained and laughed. Sebastian didn't honestly care about how they made the sundae, he just really liked teasing Wendy about it.

"You're criticizing my sundae making skills, that's rude." Wendy countered, still pouting a bit. She knew that Sebastian was just teasing her, that was how things had always been with them. They'd always rag on each other and tease each other about something. "Listen, y'all are cute, and by all means continue debating the proper way to make an ice cream sundae all you want, but move out of the way, because some of us are trying to patiently wait for you two to be finished and you're holding up the assembly line here." Her sister cut in before either of them could say another word about ice cream sundaes. "I make them better than you." Was all Wendy said, albeit a bit childishly as she stole the bowl from her boyfriend and continued making their sundae.

Sebastian was about to reply before Lily cut them off. He chuckled lightly before Wendy stole the bowl from him. He stuck his tongue out childishly at her before he started to pile up the toppings they were going to be putting on their sundae. Sebastian made sure to pour out more gummy bears than oreo crumbles in a last attempt to be the bigger child. He knew that she would point it out, and that was his plan, but until she noticed, he wasn't going to say a word.

Wendy stuck her tongue out right back at Sebastian when he stuck his out at her. She watched with a raised brow as he started piling toppings onto their sundae, noticing straight away that he put more gummy bears than oreo crumbles on it. "Ahem." She cleared her throat and eyed him, waiting to see if he would put more oreo crumbles on as well. "You're such a brat." She said when he didn't add more Oreos and she took it upon herself to do it instead, being sure that the Oreos overpowered the gummy bears this time.
