Lucas along with his father and mother, and their royal counsel. Rode towards the Nighthawk Kingdom. The royals had been invited into the kingdom for a party. It has been years since they interacted in any positive way, so this came as a surprise for the people on both sides. Unbeknownst to him however the King of the kingdom, and alpha of the pack decided, and signed the contract to wed their children. Their hopes were to combine the two peoples, species, and the lands. The two species had been at war for years. The joining of the species would not be complete until an heir to the thrones were born with both bloods. As Lucas arrived he headed into the Nighthawk's ball room. There were many of that kingdom. But only he, his family, and the other royals that were invited. It was a very classy party, he had dressed for it. A powerful perfume scent entered his overly sensitive wolf nose and he glanced over, seeing the princess. "Ah, Princess Alice." He said and bowed, offering his hand to her. "Thank you for the invitation to the kingdom." He said politely. Though at the moment, he despised the humans. They hunted his men and were ruthless with how they treated the werewolves.

Princess Aleaha had been told by her father that they were hosting a party, but not the ordinary one that they had for the people of their kingdom, a special one. She was told to dress nice and look more than presentable. She dressed in a light pink, flowing dress, and waited in the ballroom, her mother had just joined and sat besides her, looking down at her daughter. "I must confess something Aleaha." Her mother told her. "This party is of the kingdoms. The Allhearts and Bravehearts. We are meeting with the king and queen, and Prince, today to discuss a finalized deal." She said quietly. Aleaha at this point was confused, looking up at her mother for more Explanation. "You will be married off to their son, and expected to bring an heir of both bloods." She paused and Aleaha was shocked. "This is to unite the kingdoms and stop the war and fighting." Aleaha was appalled, she didn't want to marry a human? Why would she? And why have his kid. She was disgusted at the thought of it at the very least. She didn't want to. "No. I won't." Aleah said standing up. Just as she stood up her father entered the room, and brought along the other kingdoms royalty

Alice walked down the main stairs of the castle as their guests arrived. She was not keen on being auctioned off to the highest bidder. But right now their country couldn't continue a sustained assault from the elves, humans, and the other dozens of warring races. They needed meat on their side. Her mother and father after the marriage could finally retire and go on the long journey with the rest of the others of her clan that had served and lived out their time in the king and queen's service. Soon she headed into the ballroom. Inside were many swirling figures dancing around the room. Wolves and vampires meshing, mingling, and talking as friends. Alice turned around when her name was called. "Hello Prince Lucas. Welcome to my, and eventually your, future kingdom." Alice said as she curtsied to him. For a mutt he was not bad looking and he seemed nice enough. "Shall we dance my betrothed?" she asked as she put her hand out to take in his. Every word was forced and calculated but every word mattered right now.

Eric, his parents, and their royal guard rolled up to the front of the palace. He felt naked without his armor and gigantic claymore. He had been serving in open combat where his soldiers had mocked him when he showed up with his sword that was as tall as he was. This was until the Battle of High Mountain Bridge where he slayed twenty vampires by himself. So he was a little uneasy being wed off to one. However after nearly a year at war this was a welcome reprieve. They walked inside the grand palace and into the main room. Where the Vampire royalty stood waiting for them. His mother and father greeted the king and queen while he stood there and looked at the princess. Both of them probably wanted to kill each other at this point.

Lucas looked over the princess, his green eyes taking in each and every detail of her. He also inhaled a bit deeper than usual, just to get a scent off of her. Even in his human form, he could smell well, and got a lot out of someone's scent. However hers was blocked by a perfume. But even the best perfume couldn't hide feelings and he could tell she was nervous, and loathed him. He forced a polite smile, taking her hand in his, as the pair walked to the dance floor. Lucas put one hand on her hip and kept the other holding hers as they danced slowly in the room, with many other couples around them. "So." He murmured softly, looking down into her eyes once again. "What have your parents told you about their deal so far?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. As he looked at her,he noticed she wasn't that bad looking. If he had to be married off to one of her kind, at least she was cute. Lucas knew he was good looking, and he wanted good looking children. His heirs had to be. And he knew this couple would have to have children. It was part of the deal. The deal would let be official, or the Union of the kingdoms, without an heir with both bloods.

When the human's arrived, Aleaha and her mother walked over. Her mother introduced both of them, glaring at her daughter as she was being impolite. Aleaha sighed and looked over at Eric, giving him her big princess smile. "Hello Prince Eric, I am Pricness Aleah. Pleased to meet your acquaintance." She said and curtsied. Aleah's parents and Eric's parents both went off to finish the discussions of the deal, leaving their children alone. Aleaha flashed a grin with her fangs, before turning it into a smile, running her lips over the fangs. "So. We've got to get married and have a kid." She said fairly bluntly.

Alice looked at him and forced a smile. She could tell that both of them were nervous, faking it, and trying to not rip each other apart on the dance floor. They would be married, wait a few years, have kids, and then rule while trying not to break an alliance or slaughter each other with general. "Same thing you have. Get married, have kids, try not to kill each other or incite a scandal, then eventually have our kids replace us and we can go from there." she told them as they danced in the middle. Even their dancing looked stiff and formal. "In exchange our two clans will bond together to drive the elves and humans out of our country."

Eric looked at her unamused. He really wanted to snide at her and tell her something like have to replace all your people I killed over the course of the last year. Knowing that would continue the war and that he had no way to defending against a vampire right now he decided against it. "That is correct. I hope at the very least we can learn to enjoy each other's company." he told her as he looked around the room. Surveying and just seeing how the other half lived.

Lucas listened as she spoke, but also was looking around the room at the others. They were the only interbred pair, and had plenty of eyes on them. "A few years?" He inquired, easing an eyebrow as he directed his full attention back at her. "My father said he wants pups, excuse me kids, as soon as possible. Because the treaty they signed will not be valid until we have a kid, who is half vampire half wolf." He said, scrunching his nose up at the thought. Lucas was curios as to how it would work, would it be a shape shifting vampire, or an even more powerful wolf with a knack for blood? He shook his head and decided not to think about it anymore. The couple slowly danced on for a few more minutes. Soon the royalty came up to them, Lucas's parents looking down at their son. "Lucas, come on, we must get you fitted for your tux, the wedding has been moved up. And yes, we both agreed, it will be tomorrow at noon, anyone from either kingdom will be invited." His father said almost monotone like. Lucas frowned at the statement, but went off with his father.

Aleaha looked over him as his facial expressions gave away a lot. "You humans can't hide how you're feeling, huh?" She said, looking amused, but that look quickly faded and went back to her unreadable self. She walked around him, looking him up and down. "I guess they could have chosen an uglier suitor for me. At least you're cute." She said shrugging, standing in front of Eric again. "Do you want a tour of the castle?" She asked, glancing to the room their parents were in, hoping it would be final soon, Aleaha didn't want to stay in the ballroom any longer, she saw the hoards of people around them, vampires and humans, but refused to stay when she was the only vampire mingling with a human. The whole place was designed as if they were in the Victorian age, it was old and beautiful.

Alice looked at him strangely. She wanted children but first they had a war to win against, everyone. In her culture both men and women fought on the fields if they needed to and Alice was known for her bloodlust and fighting skills. She was not a breeder to just be used for the sake of an alliance. "Having children is a natural thing. I shall let it occur naturally." she told him before he was taken away to be fitted for his tux. Alice was starting to regret taking this deal as her mother and father came over. "Sweetie, was everything alright?" they asked. Alice turned to look at them. "I knew kids was part of the deal. But I was not made aware that I was going to be forced to be pregnant at the very second we wed. Once we wed I have to take over the war. How can I do that with morning sickness and swollen feet?" she asked as she stormed off to be fitted for her dress.

At least she didn't think he was ugly. Most vampires were ungodly beautiful so most humans looked mundane in Eric looked at her and nodded. "I would like to see your home in a peaceful state. I have been in war for so long balls, decent bedding, and food other than rations have become foreign to me." he told her as he stiffened a little as he saw a battle scarred and torn vampire limp past him to try and dance in the ball. Eric put his arm out like a gentlemen should. "Lead the way."

Lucas was snide and cross the entire time he was being fitted. "So you're telling me, I have to literally run this damn place by myself? Because I have to get her pregnant?" He asked angrily. He didn't like that one bit. Not that he couldn't handle it. He was a wolf, and when he was in his wolf form he was much more powerful than a human, and could take down the elves easily. He was one of the best fighters his kingdom had, and he could command an army well. His father had appointed him to general because his battle that tics were top notch. As the fitting finished the royal families convened again. Lucas looked down at Alice and took a breath. "So, do we know how many attendees there will be tomorrow."

Aleaha glanced back at Eric as he spoke, raising an eyebrow. However she chose not to say anything about the war, because she didn't want to end up killing him, and causing more war. "Alright I'll show you the dining hall, if you're hungry we have food, other than blood you know." She said, looking over and winking at Eric. Her face a bit sadistic. As she opened a large oak door, they entered the dining room. It was almost as big as the ballroom, with a long, 30 person table in the middle, seats all around it, and the chair at the head of the table was like a throne. She walked to one of their servants. "Can you please get us some food?" She asked and smiled. Aleaha turned back to him and waited. "So, what do you guys think of the blood slaves? Because you have to know we don't kidnap people and feed off them, if not all at least 90% of our blood slaves are humans that willingly submit themselves." She said and cocked her head to the side. The blood slaves fed the vampires. Their bites didn't kill or turn then, unbeknownst to many, vampires had four types of bites, feeding, turning, love, and killing. Their love and feeding bites released mass amounts of a substance like dopamine into the human they bit. Which caused great pleasure. Their blood slaves were almost like high all the time because they constantly got the drug inside them.

Alice was poked and prodded as she was being adjusted and fit to be handed off to someone she wanted to tear his throat out and vomit down his neck. Alice had a temper so she knew it was only so long before she sprung at him. She wondered what their children would look and act like. Would they even be able to have them? Could they control them? After a little while everything was ready and they rejoined. Her parents were going over wedding plans. ALl of her uncles, aunt, and relatives had come for the occasion. Even her grandparents who were resting in their chambers. She would go see them after this and feel comforted by them. UNtil then more diplomacy. "There will be at least 350 and upwards in the main chapel. The reception will be much smaller."

Eric looked at her and shrugged. THey all looked happy enough to be here. Though he would find out in detail the longer he was around here. He simply looked at her and said, "if they're semi-happy than that is probably better than most of the cattle we raise and butcher. I will say it does make me slightly uncomfortable considering it is members of my race." Eric told her with as straight of a face as he could. In the inside he was horrified and this was the reason that the wars had begun. But at this point sacrifices had to be made and if they somehow could come to an agreement and his people that were being used for blood slaves were comfortable then that was all he could do. "Something I've always wanted to know. Do you solely drink blood or can you consume normal food as well?" he asked her in an attempt to change the subject somewhat.

Lucas stood before Alice, one again looking her up and down as she spoke. He sighed heavily, rubbing his temples at the number. "The reception is just going to be us, other royalty, and lords correct?" He asked, glancing over at the table that had their parents who both were talking about plans. "I just wish I could do something to spite them other than refuse this." He mumbled, mainly talking to himself. Lucas looked back at Alice. "So could I get a tour? Since this is where I presume were staying?" He asked and ran a hand through his hair again, flashing a toothy grin.

Aleaha listened as he spoke. "Happy, or high, the feeling because of the drugs we release into a body when using a feeding bite is unimaginably amazing unless you experience it. It pus them in a calm, high, state and because they're used often, it's a constant high state." She said shrugged moving to sit at the big table as two crouches of food were being brought to them. "We can eat regular food, we can also infused our food with blood to get both. So tip, don't drink the red wine." She said and winked, picking up her glass of red wine and sipping it. Aleaha sat down and uncovered both of their meals. It was a simple pot roast, which excited her. She took her knife and fork and began to cut through the meat. "If you didn't know vampires have more than one bite and that's why they don't turn."

Alice looked at him and nodded. "Yes, not that I don't want my people there. It would be a lot easier to make sure there isn't a lack of security because our guards are spread too thin." Alice told him as she looked him up and down in response to him doing the same to her. Alice was a bit taken aback when he asked for a tour. She had felt he was just generally disinterested in nearly everything that went on with her. Maybe there was a layer or two more to him than she had thought. Then again she wasn't giving him too much credit for a simple question. "Sure. Why not?" she said bluntly as she headed to the main room. "The main room as you can tell. I figured you needed to start at the main point." After that she took him to all sorts of places until they reached her favorite place. The training room. "I've spent many hours in here training, fighting, learning. It's my favorite place to be." she told Luke.

Eric was about ready to grab his claymore and start tearing into everyone here. Doped up beyond all belief. When she got to the part about the bite his shoulder flared up from the one vampire that had gotten a solid bite in. "Oh trust me. I know pretty intimately about vampire bites." he said as calmly as possible as he took a bite out of the pot roast that had been served to him. He was served a large goblet of white wine and took a sip of it. He thanked his gods for alcohol and his ability to drink it.

Lucas listened as she spoke, explaining the reason that they were moving here rather than his packs land. Many didn't understand that it wasn't really a kingdom for werewolves, it's was a pack, set up as wolves did. And marked their territory. They only fought when their territory was taken or being invaded. Lucas noticed her slight chane when he asked for a tour, he made a mental note of it as he followed her off. "Of course." He said to the comment on the main room. As they entered the training room her looked around, and locked his lips. He loved fighting. Especially because he was versatile in his fighting styles. He could fight as a man and as a wolf. Wolf was more effective, but he was good for both. "Training is fun. I love fighting with other wolves. Bragging rights and all. I mean fighting in this form is fun and all, but can you just imagine being a wolf and fighting. It's dope man." He said and grinned at the thought.

Aleaha couldn't help but grin when she saw how riled up Eric had gotten. "Oh you don't know anything intimate about vampire bites." She said, almost seductivetly. Aleaha begun to eat the food, occasionally looking over at him. She could tell he was a soldier, and that was the only reason she despised him. Humans weren't that bad, until they thought that vampires were antichrist and begun killing them. Soldiers and hunters pissed her off. As she finished up her food, she took the napkin and wiped her mouth, then finished the wine. Aleaha stood and brought the plate to her servant. "Thank you Marcus, you're relinquished from your duties today. Have a good night." She said softly to him, hoping Eric wouldnt overhear her sweet exchange. She moved back to him. "Let's move on." She stated.

(I feel like the setting is a mix of modern and medieval which is awesome.)

Alice listened to him describe his home and was slightly interested in the way they set up. Also this described why their entire people could move so easily into their kingdom. She told him to wait a minute while she changed out of her dress and into her training gear which was composed of a sports bra and leggings. She threw him some sparring clothes as well while putting a hand on her hip. "Let's see how good you are in a quick little bout. I know you've fought grunt vampires before but imagine fighting a vampire who trains and has unlocked their inner strength and power." she told him as she jumped over the railing and into the sparring pit.

Eric could tell she was baiting him and doing a fairly decent job at it. He could tell that she thought the vampires really didn't do wrong and they generally didn't.Except they tended to forget just whose fault the war starting was. A vampire had killed and slaughtered the princess. His baby sister was killed by a rouge vampire and the vampire council refused to try him. So they launched the war in order to gain vengeance for their lost princess which is why he even fought on the frontlines. Eventually they managed to find him and Eric ended him which is why they called for the treaty. Eric looked at her and smiled. "Indeed. Let us move." he told her.

Lucas's watched as Alice changed, he couldn't help but lick his lips, she was attractive, he was thankful for that at least. "Awh you're saying I gotta stay in this form?" He asked, pouting playfully. Lucas went off and changed into them. "I only think it'd be fair for me in my best state. Plus, you'll get to see what a lovable beast I am." He said and chuckled. Lucas moved to the railing, jumping over it as well. He glanced across at her and couldn't help but laugh. "Not how many couples spend the night before they marry." He purred out, almost seductively.

Aleaha grinned and ran her tongue over her fangs. She looked Eric up and down before standing. Beginning to leading him out of the dining hall. As they exited she lead him towards the royals room. "I'll show you the bedrooms. The simulation room. I could show you the room where the blood slaves win if you'd like. And after that we could go to the councils room." She said and walked down a long hallway. She opened one door and pointed in. "My grandparents rooms." She said then led him on again, this next room was massive. "This is my parents room." And she led him to the end of the hall opening another door. As she entered the room was a typical Victorian age room, purple and black color's all throughout. The bed was huge. "This is my, well our, room." She said and looked up at Eric.

Alice looked at him and shook her head. 'My darling, where is the fun if we aren't fighting at full strength?" she asked as she bent screaming as two giant bone wings erupted from her back. Her face tightened before revealing two large fangs as her skin turned as white and strong as marble. "Feel free to unleash the beast. I'll stick to my first form. Wouldn't want to wreck the castle. I feel like that'll come later." she told him with a wink as she beat her powerful wings and floated in the air. "Now my future husband. Let's play." she said with a devil smile.

Eric stopped for a moment when she said simulation room. What in the high gods' name was that? He wondered about it before he was shown around the rest of the rooms. Eventually they got to their bedroom. It looked like a vampire had decorated it. "It's a bit, grim don't you think?" he asked. His own home was full of color and candles and brightness. This place was dark and dreary. "So is that all the manor or is there more we shall see?" he asked her. Knowing the big day was tomorrow he wondered how much longer he could stay with her before someone started cursing them with bad luck.

Lucas watched, almost in awe as she transformed, but that made him even more excited. He nodded and chuckled. "Ignore the indecency." He said with a wink. Lucas pulled the shirt he wore off of himself, then the pants, but he kept his boxers on. Though they would be torn as soon as he turned. Lucas seemed to take a deep breath as his eyes turned a bright yellow color, the pupils slitting straight down. His hair then started to grow, everywhere, getting longer and coarser and darker, his nails grew out, and his teeth got bigger and sharper, finally his body was fully transformed. He was huge. In his wolf form, he was pitch black, eyes shining yellow and bright. He was what was considered a breed of dire wolf, and a whopping 250 pounds for one. But it was all pure muscle. He padded up to Alice, knowing his body language would be different now and harder to read for her because she wasn't a wolf. He bares his teeth and let out a slight growl. He jumped up on his back legs and towered over her in size as he let out a howl. When he landed again he nodded his head ready to fight.

"From?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "I love this stuff, it's so beautiful. However considering we are to be we'd I will accept some compromises on decorations." She said and turned to him. She placed one finger just above his collar bone, then dragged it down his chest, tugging his shirt down a bit as she did. She looked up at him and seductively said. "Now for the fun part." She stated, grabbing his hand and leading him out of the room, down another hall. As she opened the door to the simulation room, another smaller room was dead in the center and sealed up. "We simulate battles in here, and other things to deal with." She pointed to the controls." Someone is in there. We can change it up and watch." She said and walked over changing it from humans to were wolves. Then pointed to the television which showed the vampire training, and what he would see inside there.

Alice felt the blood in her veins boil. She knew that speed would be her friend here. He would have power but he could only fight so much if he couldn't hit her. She would have to really read him in order to understand what he was going to win. She'd fought mutts before so she wasn't too worried. Flashing one last smile before flash stepping behind him and delivering a powerful kick to his side. Sending him to the other side of the arena. "Is that it?" she taunted.

Eric gently pulled her off his shirt. He was scared when they would forced to take to a bed together. His body was covered in a mountain of scars and bite marks. He knew where each one came from and could remember the face of the person or vampire who did it. All ten bite marks and twenty scars on his upper body alone. Eric was led into the simulation room and saw all the different battles going on. "We are a battle hardy people aren't we?" he asked her as he watched a vampire fight another vampire. One of them was an elite in their first form. Eric shuddered as he remember the handful of times he ran into one of those.

Lucas took the kick with a slight grunt, he got up, almost as if ailed and padded slowly over. But taking a moment of surprise he took a large leap at her. His powerful back legs propelling himself into her, and then pushing her hard into the ground. His muzzle was inches from her face, snarling as spittle dripped down onto her. He used his paw, almost the size of a dinner plate, and practically slapped her across the face with it, but he kept his claws retracted in. Lucas used his back legs and leaped off of Alice, kicking her across the floor as he did. He looked across and ran at her again.

Aleaha couldn't help but giggle when he pulled her off his shirt. She looked around the room at all the soldiers training. "We like to be prepared. And prwctice makes perfect. Nothing here kills us. But the simulation simulates pain as well. Would you like to try?" She asked and walked to one of the free simulators, setting it up. She set it for a werewolf, as she really didn't want to see how much blood list he had for her people. "Here out this helmet on, and step in. I'll hit go."

Alice was a bit dazed after being hit by the giant paw. She looked up just in time to swing a fist across his face and drive him into the ground. This allowed her enough time to recover and dash forward. Grabbing him by the scruff of his neck and throw him straight up into the air. Flying up she grabbed him once again and slammed him hard into the ground. Hoping that would get across a small point that she wasn't going down easily against him. She flew to the other side of the arena. "I might even let you give me a kiss if you can take me down." she told him to make things a little bit more interesting.

Eric scowled, he really didn't want to fight a werewolf or anything right now. But he played her game. He was put into the room and had simulated armor on. On the table was a giant sword that was as tall as he was. He smiled, this was what he needed. From behind a gate a werewolf was released. He swung the sword around like it was a feather. The werewolf charged him. He sidestepped easily and swung at it's hind legs. Chopping it off with ease and crippling the wolf. It howled in pain before Eric cut it's head off. He picked it up and looked at it. The detail was immense and he was impressed. "So are we done yet?" he asked out into the void. Knowing she was watching and listening.
