The house was quiet when Tyler let himself in. He had graduated two weeks ago and had stayed behind to pack his old apartment up and say goodbye to all those friends that he would possibly never see again, just college buddies and nothing else.

Tyler didn't visit home much in the four years he was away that he could have, letting his little brother grow up some and enjoy being a teenager and enjoy the hell of high school halls. Though, he did miss Bradley the most, nothing that texts and skype couldn't fulfill.

He hauled his bags upstairs to his old bedroom, thankful that his parents didn't care enough to turn it into some office space after he had moved out though, this was stay was temporary at best, just until his new apartment across town became vacant from the current tenants.

Bradley had no idea Tyler was coming home. The young man was going to enter his Senior year in high school, and had been focused on making good grades his Junior year. But his parents had kept Tyler's plan to return secret from their youngest son, for reasons Bradley wouldn't understand.

He sat on the edge of his bed, his current boyfriend sitting next to him, whispering in his ear, using dirty language. Bradley pushed him away, shaking his head. In the year that they had been together, they had never slept together, but his boyfriend wanted more. Bradley pushed him away again, eyes widening when he heard footsteps on the stairs. He crept out of his room, and looked completely stunned to see Tyler.

"Tyler," he spoke quietly, almost as if he didn't really believe his own eyes. He hung back slightly, almost afraid Tyler wouldn't want to see him. After all, his older brother had barely come by after leaving for college. Bradley had thought it was his fault. And nothing anybody said could've persuaded him otherwise.

Tyler was quick to stop in his tracks, seeing his younger brother step from his bedroom. He gave his brother a once over, noticing the change the past six months had given him. Tyler also noticed how Bradley seemed to draw back from him. Tyler made a face at that. "Oh, hey. I didn't think anyone was home." He took a few steps forward, wondered if his brother was going to leap back inside the room.

Tyler peered around his younger brother."Things must be going well." He nodded toward the other boy in the bedroom. He had met his brother's boyfriend once over Thanksgiving break. He hated to think them alone in the house together.

He gestured toward his room."I'm gonna throw these in my room and I guess I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing." He past by Bradley."Maybe we'll catch up later?" He asked, turning his head over his shoulder.

Bradley nodded. "That sounds good," he answered quietly, but he didn't quite understand. Tyler had shown little to no interest in him when he's bothered to visit, so he was a little surprised. He sighed, watching for a moment as Tyler closed the door to his room.

His boyfriend came up behind him, arms encircling his waist. "Not now, Rylant," he mumbled, but his quiet words obviously went unnoticed as Rylant drew him back into the room, lips on his neck. "Stop it," he protested. Didn't Rylant think this was inappropriate, with Tyler being home?

Rylant hissed at Bradley, "You're always teasing me with your tight jeans and tank tops, but you never give any. That changes now, Bradley. We're supposed to be dating.." He wasn't going to rape Bradley, but he was making it clear he wouldn't put up with what he called Bradley's crap anymore. He kissed the younger male roughly, Bradley's eyes widening in shock.

He pushed Rylant away then, but it caused him to stumble back, hitting the edge of his dresser, causing him to cry out sharply. Rylant froze, wondering if Bradley's cry would draw his brother's attention. "Why are you so frigid?" he snapped, causing Bradley's eyes to water. What was wrong with Rylant? He had never spoken to him this way before. Rylant stepped forward, obviously acting bipolar, as he hugged Bradley close. "I'm sorry." Bradley shook his head, once again trying to push Rylant away.

Tyler was putting away his clothes and what little objects he had packed up and brought back with him while the rest of his stuff was being shipped back on their own. It was weird being back in his bedroom but he was glad that he would be back in a familiar and comfortable bed.

He paused at his sock drawer as he heard some kind of noise coming from his brother's room. He furrowed his brows together as he shoved everything inside the drawer and shut it as he stepped out of his bedroom, peering into Bradley's, seeing Rylant hugging onto him while Bradley looked uncomfortable with the touch but Tyler wasn't sure what to make of that situation. Though, Rylant, he could say he detested for obvious reasons.

Tyler cleared his throat as he rapped his knuckles on the door."Hey, so. I thought maybe I would go grab tacos or pizza? If you guys wanna join me? Or Bradley." He shrugged, as he felt inclined to offer the invite to Rylant as well.

At Tyler's rap at the door, Rylant released Bradley. The younger male was shaken up, as was obvious by his pale skin tone. "Actually, I was just leaving," Rylant said with a smirk, pleased that Tyler did not know what had been happening. He stepped forward to kiss Bradley, but Bradley took a small step back, barely noticeable. Rylant shrugged, making Bradley a promise that he'd text him, and left the room.

Bradley turned to look at Tyler, smiling, but it was faint. He never thought Rylant could be so mean. He exhaled slowly, as Rylant's promised text came through already. He read it slowly, hoping Tyler wouldn't catch the way his eyes widened a little. "I could go for tacos," he said quietly, pocketing his phone.

Bradley had missed Tyler, but he was afraid Tyler hadn't missed him. And that scared him, to think of his brother not caring anymore. They had been closer growing up, though Tyler was five years older. But things had changed once Tyler had entered his Senior year in high school. They had drifted apart, and Bradley always thought he had been to blame.

"Great, let's go." Tyler ushered his brother down the stairs with him."So, uh, things going pretty good with you and Rylant?" He asked, as he had an inkling that things weren't going that well or maybe he had just interrupted them having a spat or something but whatever it was, he didn't like the look that Bradley had on his face.

He got into the driver's seat of his car, started the engine and as his brother clambered into the passenger, he was well aware how much Bradley had grown up, he filled the car differently, he smelled differently and it just made Tyler realize that distance had done nothing for how he had felt about his brother.

Bradley blinked, looking at Tyler. "I guess so," he mumbled, before looking away. "I'm just not ready to sleep with him yet." He cast a nervous look back at Tyler, hoping the other hadn't caught that last remark. He followed Tyler down the stairs, nervously running a hand through his hair.

He got into the passenger seat of the car, smiling shyly. He remember when Tyler, before he had left for college, had driven him to school a lot. But things were different now. He was thankful, and he figured Tyler was too, that he had remembered to put on some of his spicy-smelling cologne. He studied his brother, noting just how more attractive he was. The thought made color rush to his cheeks, and he looked away quickly.

Tyler began backing out and putting the car into gear."So like is he ready for that?" He asked, curious as to know the answer but it was also a relief to know his brother hadn't done anything with Rylant, especially with Rylant. Tyler couldn't stand the guy no matter how hard he tried to like him.

Tyler pulled into a Mexican restaurant that was locally owned. He cut the imagine as just stomach growled, he hadn't ate anything since leaving his dorm this morning."So anything new with you going on?" He looked over to Bradley as he got out of the car.

Bradley nodded. "Yes, he is ready for that," he said, fidgeting with his hands in his lap. He felt a little nervous, talking about these things with his brother, and he couldn't tell why his brother was so interested. He kept thinking about all the times Tyler hadn't been around, and it made him a little upset.

As Tyler pulled into the restaurant, Bradley relaxed a tiny bit. At least they would be around other people, so Bradley wouldn't be tempted by Tyler, he hoped. He got out of the car, glancing to Tyler. "My baseball team won the championship," he offered up.
