Yeah, I wore a hoodie today, and now I'm sweating in it. I took it off though.

I do....but that's not exactly ideal. The landlord has been saying every day this week he will send someone, but nothing is getting done.

I wore a thin cardigan to work yesterday, thinking I'd be too warm in my winter coat and it absolutely hammered down with rain so I got soaked we can't win!

True, that'd be a right pain in the arse. I hope the landlord pulls his finger out and gets it sorted soon! My mum has been complaining to our landlord about a broken window in the front room for months now, but he's yet to get it fixed

It took 5 days to get hot water back. Yo, that wasn't cool.

I think the universe was looking out for me today, I found an umbrella discarded in the park I walk through to get home. I was saved!

That's terrible I know cold showers are supposed to be good for you, but girl needs her hot water!

It was a tartan pattern. Kinda cute! Polka dots are awesome!

Cold water is good for hair, it seals the follicles after you've washed and conditioned your hair. It's great for aching/pulled muslces, much better than heat. Good for skin, it closes pores after cleansing. It wakes you up in the morning, too. Not very pleasant, though

It's getting colder here, the room with the broken window is like an ice box

All of that is true. I usually rinse off in cool water when I am done to help close all my pores. But an ice cold shower from start to finish just SUCKS.

Oh no! Stay warm! That's a shame the window isn't getting fixed.

Same. I can't have a completely cold shower, I love my hot showers, so I just use cold water for a final rinse then switch it straight back to hot for a few minutes

Apparently, the landlord doesn't have the funds to do it at the moment.

That sucks! Here, have a hug! I said I'd do an extra shift tomorrow but it's an open shift and I have to get up so early Think of the money, that's what I'm trying to do!

Same. I wash my hair in cold water because of my hair dye. But I wash my body in scorching hot water.

That's such bullsh*t. What a lame excuse.

I know. I'm just exhausted already. I know pay is going to be good, but I just wish I got to lay in bed all day today.
I have to get up early too. Yuck!

I'm unable to sleep because I'm super anxious about getting my blood taken tomorrow. I'm also super anxious about the outcome of the blood test. I'm super anxious about life in general right now.

Thank you, sweetheart. I know there's nothing to be anxious about really, it's all routine work, but I tend to over analyse things.

Plus, as soon as my body does something weird, I automatically think I'm dying... which is also always fun...

I understand. It's the anxiety.
I have anxiety too with different things. I get it really bad when it comes to work.

I do the same thing when I don't feel well or when my body is acting weird.
