Its crazy. Here in Arizona, people are buying up tampons and pads (many women are having to free bleed or use rags during their periods), diapers and wipes so people are making their own or having to spend tons of money to go cloth. Its nuts. Thank god my daughter was already starting to potty train otherwise we'd have been screwed.

Nappies, Toilet Roll, Pasta, Tinned food... people here are literally grabbing anything they can! It's mad.

We're in a huge food shortage too. Pasta, canned food, frozen foods, eggs and milk. I'm at my wits end when it comes to shopping. My kids have been picky AF too and of course they pick the worse time to decide they don't like certain foods.

Other than the shopping mayhem, how are you holding up?

In other news and observations, I wish Mibba would get fixed. I think it would be more active.

I tend to come and go alot but the main thing that kept me gone was the fact that everything is backwards. I'd be so much more active if I could see more.

I'm working on writing an update for one of my stories but I'm not even sure anyone will SEE it.

I definitely get that! I've resigned to the fact that only a small amount of people will see mine... I'm writing because I have ideas that I need to get out

Actually managed to get a little bit of shopping, tidied the living room... nothing too exciting. How about you?

I was supposed to work today but my fiance is sick. We were planning on taking him to the ER but with everything going on they want him to see his PCP. He's been on antibiotics (2 different types) for the last two weeks and he's not getting better (sore throat, (productive) cough, chest pain w/ shortness of breath but NOT COVID because of no fever).
He woke me up at 4am crying because he thinks he's gonna die (he's dramatic) so I stayed home and am taking him to his PCP in an hour. My stepmom and stepsister are watching our kids for the afternoon so we're sitting and watching Masterchef S6. We plan on tidying up the dining and living room once we get home because we're slobs and with him not having felt good the last month the house has gotten to be disgusting.
He has also suddenly decided he isn't happy with his weight (he thinks he's sick because he is overweight) and is determined to eat salad for all 3 meals from here on out for the next year or until he loses 100lbs.

SO FUN STUFF TODAY.

I hope he gets better soon, it's a scary time to be ill. My anxiety is terrible at the moment, plus we've just been placed in a stricter lockdown because people are stupid and decided that they'd go to the beach (I don't understand some people). Pretty much boils down to we can only go out to go to the shops or for one exercise related outing (Cycling, a walk or a run).

The doctor thinks he has Mono. I am fucking dying. I keep giving him crap about his "other girlfriends" (which I know he doesn't have but its funny to tease him). They're gonna run some blood work and do some imaging of his throat since thats the problem area.
People for fucking idiots. Everything is closed here, non-essential businesses, schools, some daycares. Food restaurants are take-out only. All concerts and gatherings over 10 people are banned. Its CRAZY.
I can see myself telling my grandchildren in 30 years about the great pandemic of 2020.

Same here, our fast food restaurants are all closed though... I work for McDonald's and they closed yesterday.

Sorry for the late response. I feel ya. It's win or lose situation tho it could also be a big loss both ways. :(

Im off work for two weeks and don't qualify for unemployment because I just started this job in January. But what blows my mind is that's what's stopping me from qualifying. You would think with the current conditions, I should be able to automatically get it no matter how long I've been working. I'm hoping this ends soon because I can't afford to be off work for more than 2 weeks.
