The second one is perfect for JohnDave! Plus, the little bit you told me irl would work so well for those two.

I can see the third one working for Eridan and Sollux. Maybe Feferi was the mutual friend and she backed out just to set the two up bc she knows they have feelings for one another? I think that take on it would be really cute and at first they'll try to deny their feelings, but in the end they'll love one another, lolol.

I'm not sure who the first would work the best with, but I'm not really seeing JadeKat :/

hi! how are you today? i also thing no '&' sign in a title is a bit ridiculous. i mean, in one of the stories my friend and i are working on, the coffee shop has a '&' in the title. lol it isn't the title of the story, but... it literally has that symbol in it's name.

Hey, just popping in to address the ampersand issue. Ampersands aren't allowed in story content in general as they are classed as logograms and are not punctuation. However, it does work on a case-by-case basis: if it's the name of a company or shop (as discussed above with the coffee shop example) then it would be allowed as it's part of a stylised title. I think there's been a bit of confusion with the way that it's been portrayed -- we're not saying you can't use them at all. We're saying that if it's being used to replace 'and' in the general story content, then it would technically be classed as being grammatically incorrect. Ampersands in titles are also allowed.

Just thought I'd pop in to clear up any confusion. If anybody has any more questions, feel free to PM me and I'll try and help out as much as possible.

Basically! I had to correct my story title and "and" ruins it. I was mad, lol!!

It's not allowed in the titles either. I had "You're Cold & I Burn" and I had to correct that... I'm not mad at all but it just seems a bit silly. I've seen so many stories that include links in the chapters, but god forbid I use ampersands.

Allowed in titles? That's weird then because I had to correct a title because I used an ampersand.

Yes, they're allowed in titles. If errors in story titles are noticed by the story editors, we would normally edit those as we have access to them. Were you advised to correct the title yourself by an editor? Are you able to PM me about it and I'll have a look into it? I'd rather not clog up this thread with anything other than the information I posted above.

ALL OF THEM! Just fuck me up, tbh. I like the things we've been talking about and I'm thinking about writing something with Jake as the over-protective older brother and Jade getting super annoyed but secretly thanking him.

Also, while I know the seriousness of the situation, I almost kept laughing at the whole,
