Four had resolved that even if Abigail didn't manage to succeed in training, that he would pull strings wherever he needed to. Even if it meant signing up to be a leader of Dauntless to get his sister to survive in their faction. If she was nothing more than a cook in the kitchen, at least it would be better than living on the streets as a factionless member. Four had no desire to see his sister in rags and he had no desire to wonder if she was even still alive or not. Four knew first hand what the world had in store for the factionless and the only person he wanted to see in that position would never be. His father was a leader of Abnegation, there was no hope of seeing such a thing. Unless the man's transgressions came to light and Four wasn't about to be the one to do that.
"I think the list will sort out a lot of the fake initiates," Four muttered under his breath, still eyeing the initiates as they tried to relax. He let out a sigh, his eyes lingering on the blonde and brunette before he turned around to face Eric. He didn't want to fully give himself away - so long as Eric thought that being David's brother was the only reason Four was interested in Grace, that was good to him. At least until training was complete and Grace was an official member. "Make them mess up when they really need to because they're too focused on their score." As far as Four was concerned, if you focused on your work and tried your hardest, you were far more likely to succeed compared to if you should focus only on what your ranking was.
Abby hadn't known her brother for nearly two years, the two of them had both changed so much in those two years that she had started to wonder if there was even any sort of hope that she would get to know Four again. Or if he would be just another Dauntless member to her because he was so standoffish. He had more or less refused to acknowledge her existence so far. But she still knew him well enough to notice the way Four's attention lingered on Grace a little too long and how he helped her more than he helped anyone else. "When we graduate and he asks you out, don't be surprised when I tell you that I told you so," Abby teased with a wink, turning her back to where Four and Eric were so that she didn't keep looking over at them.
When Grace mentioned how hot Four was, Abby couldn't help the way her nose scrunched. She hated the idea of describing her brother as hot but she also didn't really want to get into the whole thing with Grace because there was no way for her to properly explain Four and her's relationship. So she settled with shaking her head and scoffing. "No way, Eric is," she spoke, forcing a tiny grin to her lips. Clearing her throat, Abby glanced toward the men finally. "Alright. Maybe we should stop talking about them entirely. Focus on us for now and maybe focus on them after?"
