Serena felt as light as air as she walked down the street with a coffee in each hand. She was meeting Nate back at his place where they'd probably spend their whole day, unless they could actually pull themselves away from one another. Which if you would've asked her two years ago if she thought she'd be dating Nate Archibald she would've said now. Sure they'd slept together when he was dating Blair which was a mistake. And they'd both had feelings for one another for a while. The timing had never been right and really everyone thought Nate and Blair would be together forever, and Serena had Dan. Things changed, though. It was like finally the universe was telling them it was their time to be together and see if things could work out. Something Serena really wanted. Serena wanted things to work out with Nate more than she'd ever wanted something in her life. This was Nate after all and there had never been someone better for her.

Dan would admit to anyone who asked him that he was a little-upset thing hadn't worked out with Serena. And he really did wish the best for her and Nate, because well it wasn't like a secret that they were together, or that they had a past together. It was almost like a good thing they'd ended things though because apparently Serena's mom and his Dad and decided they wanted to be together, and honestly, that could make things real awkward. So Dan planned on finding a way to move on because surely it was possible, and hopefully Serena and Nate could wish him well. After all, there was no reason they couldn't all be friends right?

[ I'm really sorry if this is a crap post! It's like I knew where I wanted to start, but at the same time I wasn't sure how to start! ]

Nate rolled out of bed with a smile on his face. He stretched as he made his way to his bathroom. He turned the water on, wanting to take a quick shower before Serena arrived. He stepped under the water; letting the hot droplets wake him up. Anticipation weld up inside him with every minute that passed. Once he was awake and clean, he turned the water off and wrapped a towel around him. He already had his wardrobe ready for this wonderful day in. He couldn't help but think about how great things were going. He finally got the girl. Of course, he may have lost a friend in the process but he knew that him and Dan could bounce back from it. His mind traveled back to Serena. She was perfect in every way and he was thankful for her.

Eden was forced out of the new penthouse by her parents. They had recently moved from San Diego to the Upper East Side and she was less than thrilled. Her parents knew how things worked in private schools but they insisted on having her switch to Constance. She sighed as she walked around the unfamiliar city. She had visited a few times but she never quite took to it. Her heels clacked on the pavement as she made her way down the road. She had no idea where she was going but her mind was starting to ease. It was hard to leave everything, then again, in some ways it may have been necessary. A few weeks before the big move Eden found out that her long-term boyfriend had another long-term girlfriend. She rolled her eyes at the thought. He dated another girl from a public school for almost the same amount of time that he was with her. Manhattan could be exactly what she needed.

[I'm always awful at intros, so don't worry about it lol. I had no idea where I was going haha!]

"Guess who?" Serena said as she walked into Nate and Chuck's apartment. Luckily she knew that Chuck wasn't there because he was with Blair so she and Nate had the place to themselves for the time being. "I brought you a coffee, just the way you like it," she added feeling more at ease than she had in the longest time. This was Nate after all, he was kind of the perfect guy. Honestly, for the first time in the longest time, Serena felt like everything on the upper east side was going well. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy with how things were going. Sure Nate and Dan were having a rough patch with their friendship, but she figured in a couple weeks they'd be friends again. Then everything really would be great, and for the first time since Gossip Girl had decided to start dishing the dirt on them all them back in second great.

Dan pulled his bag over his shoulder and walked out of his room deciding to wait on his little sister before he headed out. They didn't usually walk together or even show up together at all for that matter. It was different now, though. He was for sure broken up with Serena and she was officially dating Nate now. So their friendship was a little rocky. And honestly, he'd rather walk with his sister so he could use her to get out of talking to Nate, Serena, or anyone else from the Upper East Side. At least for this one day.

Nate had just slipped on his shirt when he heard the door open. He left a few buttons undone as he made his way out of the room. His eyes fell on Serena and he couldn't help but smile. He walked towards her, taking the coffee. "You're the best." He said before taking a sip. He pulled her into a soft hug, kissing her forehead softly. "I'm glad we have all day together." He whispered before pulling away. He drank his coffee again. "What do you want to today?" Nate questioned. He wanted Serena to have the perfect day. Then again, he wanted that everyday. He enjoyed making her smile.

Eden's feet were starting to ache from the amount of distance she had walked. She had no idea where she was. She already went through Times Square and several parks. She checked her phone to see if anything excited may have happened. Nothing. Since the move her friends just gave up on her. But they probably weren't her true friends anyways. She sighed and checked the time. It was almost brunch and she needed food. She checked her map and frowned when she realized where she was. She had walked from the Upper East Side to Brooklyn without even noticing. She glanced around and noticed a small cafe. Eden crossed the street and took a seat outside. She made sure to call her driver, there was no way she would be making a solo travel back to her new home.
