I have a quick question. It's going to be a bit odd, actually, but I was wondering if my entry could be a co-write with my best friend? The picture I chose actually made me think of two of our characters that we've been writing for together for years, and I had a great idea. It just so happens to involve both of us (and each of us writing ten chapters apiece, if that makes a difference).

My best friend has a lot going on right now and can't do the contest with me, just to let you know Sorry to bother you about it. I didn't know he was going to have to drop out just as soon as we'd start writing.

Anyway, I've switched gears and started on something else. Here is my story (or the first two chapters at least)!
