Nothing But A Number

Hannah walked in the room holding coffee, "I brought you coffee. It's decaf, but that's all your aloud to have." She said as she set it down in front of him. She watched as James and his wife said goodbye then sat down in her chair again. She looked at Kenny, "Are you done eating?" She asked him. She couldn't wait til he was back home and they could relax. She hated hospitals and she was sure that he did too.

Kenny frowned at the word decaf, but he knew it wasn't Hannah's fault that was all they let him take. "Thank you." He murmured as he began to drink the coffee. "Yes I am." He said and put the coffee down before reaching out and taking Hannah's hand. "Come here, come give me a kiss." He said quietly, giving Hannah a smile as he looked up at her. He thought she was the cutest thing, and he wanted to go home so he was able to be alone with her,
Not even for the sex, just because he wanted to be with her. "Can you get the doctor? I wanna know when I can leave and what I need to do." He said as he looked out the window.

Hannah smiled as he took her hand and she went over to him. She kissed him and smiled, "Sure i will go get the doctor." She said as she cleaned up his stuff. She went out and got the doctor returning with him. Hannah sat down as the doctor spoke to Kenny. The doctlr went over a few things, "I suggest staying out of work for awhile, eating better, avoid exercise for a few weeks and no sexual activity for two weeks." He said as he handed Kenny a pamphlet about hewrt attacks. Hannah watched as the doctor left then looked at him.

Kenny nodded as he Ostend to the doctor, frowning slightly at the last part. But he got up and changed into his own clothes, and signed the papers to allow him to leave. He helped Hannah carry everything out and followed her to her car before getting into the passengers seat. "Do you wanna come over, spend the night?" He asked as he looked at Hannah while she drove. "Also do you really want me to listen to his last bit of advice?" He asked and bit his lip grinning slightly.

Hannah nodded as she drove, "Yes im staying with you. You need someone there." She said as she drove. She nodded when he asmed about the sex. "Doctors orders. Guess youll have to make conversation with me." She teased him. She pulled into her driveway, "I gotta get some stuff. I will be right back." Shw said. Hannah went in to her house and got what she needed before she came back to the car. Hannah drove to his house and carried the stuff inside for him. "Why dont you got rest and i will start dinner." She said. Hannah walked to the bedroom, setting his things down. She made her way to the kitchen and started dinner.

Kenny groaned softly, he wanted to sleep with her again. But he was glad she was staying with him, she was right, he didn't want to be alone at this point. Kenny went inside with Hannah, he leaned across and kissed her passion alt for a second before agreeing. "Bring it up when it's done so we can cuddle and eat. I've missed you." He said sincerely before heading up to his bedroom. Kenny laid down and took a short nap until Hannah came up with their dinner, he held his plate in his lap and looked across at her. Kissing Hannah again he turned red and smiled. "Baby I wanna know everything about you."

Hannah smiled as she sat with him on the bed, "Well...i like rock climbing, reading, painting, cooking and drawing. My mom died when i was 5. I moved here a year ago. What else do you wanna know? She asked. She was glad he was so interested in her now. It made her glad she had stayed even when he told her not to.

Kenny laid his head on her shoulder as he ate. Listening to Hannah. When he was done eating he put the bowl on the table besides them. The pulled Hannah into his lap as he kissed her cheek. "I told you I wanna know everything about you." He murmured. "You're so damn amazing." He said and ran a hand through her hair. Kenny didn't know what had gotten into him. He wasn't like this. It shocked him. But he let it happen. She was happy and he liked that. "Baby." He murmured and gave her soft puppy like eyes. "I still worry, and think age is such a bad idea." He mumbled, looked down between them. "What would your father think about me? I'm probably around his age."
He said before looking back up st Hannah.

Hannah smiled at him, kissing him. "You don't have to worry about that. My dad just wants me happy and his wife is ten years younger than him. You are worrying for know reason." She said as she hugged him to her. She rested her head on his shoulder and held him close. She looked at the time, "It's time for your medicine." she said, before she pulled away from him and went downstairs. She brought his medicine back and cleaned up all the plates. Hannah decided to get ready for bed. She walked to the bathroom and got dressed . Hannah walked out and climbed into bed with Kenny, "You wanna watch a movie or something?" She asked him.

Kenny sighed and bit his lip. "Tennis different than 22." He murmured and rubbed Hannah's back. When she told him it was time for his pill he scrunched his nose up. He hated pills and he hated doctors. "Fine." He grumbled, hesitatingly taking the medicine. Kenny watched Hannah off as he turned the news on for the night. "We can if you want." He said and put his arm around Hannah and pulled her close when she got back into bed with him. "I hope he knows I'm going to work. I can't lose that money." Hnsaid and kissed her cheek. Kenny definitely was a stubborn man. Not many people changed his mind when it was made up.

Hannah stared at him, "But you aren't suppose to be going to work." She said, sitting up some. She was worried that he was going to over to it again. "You need to relax and James already said he would take care of your cases for you."She said, shaking her head. She bit her bottom lip lightly, knowing he probably wouldn't change his mind about taking off work."Maybe just take two days instead of a week if anything?" She suggested.

"I don't care what I'm supposed to do. I've got cases and court. I'm not losing money or letting people find my clients guilty because someone who doesn't know the case is defending them. That'll defame the name of my firm." He said stubbornly. Kenny looked down at Hannah and sighed. "Can't exercise, can't work, can't have sex. What am I supposed to do? Those are the only things I do in my life." He said and crossed his arms over his chest. "Maybe." He said but still in the stubborn tone of voice he had.

Hannah looked at him, "It will be okay." She said as she hugged him. She smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder. "You will be back to normal before you know it." She said, kissing him softly. She looked at the tv and relaxed as the movie started. She knew it was going to be hard for him but shw had to help him.

Kenny frowned but held Hannah's against him as he watched the movie. About half way into it he fell asleep, his chin falling to his heat. He slept easily through the night. Kenny woke up early like he usually did, he wanted to do something for Hannah. So he went downstairs and started cooking breakfast for the two of them. When it was done he brought it up to her, gently shaking Hannah awake. "Hey love I made you breakfast."
He said and smiled, sitting down as he began to eat his pancakes

Hannah opened her eyes when she was shook the next morning, "Hey." She said, rubbing her eyes tiredly. She sat up seeing the food, "thanks." She said as she took the plate from him. " Did you sleel well?" She asked before she began to eat. She was surprised at how nice he was being now. She hoped she was winning him over.

Kenny had his mouth full as she spoke, so he nodded in reply. When he was done swallowing he smiled at Hannah. "Yea I did, how about you?" He asked and kissed her cheek. "Can we do something today? I really don't want to just sit here and feel useless." He said as he finished his pancakes, crumpling the paper plate and throwing it into the trash he kept in his room. Kenny was so confused about his feelings. He wasn't sure if he really wanted a relationship. But she had saved his life so he owed her something. He still didn't think it would be okay because he was 22 years older than her.

Hannah nodded, "Sure we can do something." She said as she threw her plate away. "What would you like to do today?" Shw asked as she sat with him. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she waited for him to answer. She wamted to make sure he had a good time if they did anything.

Kenny leaned across and kissed Hannah. "Well I'd like to do you." He said and grinned deviously at Hannah. "But you're making me follow doctors orders." He said and crossed his arms playfully. "But since we can't do that. I'll do whatever you want to. I wanna have fun with my favorite girl." He said as he got up. Kenny walked to his closet as he got dressed. He put on shorts and a tee shirt. Before turning to look at Hannah. "Come give daddy a kiss." He purred and opened his arms for Hannah.

Hannah smiled when he said they could do what she wanted. "We could go to the park or something." She suggested. She didny want to pick something that was too much for him. Hannah got dressed in a dress and a pair of flats. She looked at at Kenny when he opened his arms. Hannah went over to him and kissed him roughly, feeling his arms go around her.

Kenny grinned into the kiss, his lips moving hard against hers. He placed his hands on her hips, pulling Hannah into him. "You're such a good kisser."
He groaned against her lips, leaving a trail of kisses down to her neck. Before he left a hickey and pulled away. "Don't wanna get too steamy. Cause you don't wanna break doctors rules." He said teasingly walking away
