Emily took a seat in her first class of the day, a small frown forming on her features. The day hadn't been well so far, especially when it came to issues at home. With her and her sister, Nicole, only having their dad around, things were getting increasingly tense, especially since Nicole was around the age of wanting to be with boys. Their father definitely didn't like that, but Emily didn't really want to get involved. She knew how cruel boys could be; she'd witnessed it firsthand after her mother died and her then-boyfriend had gotten tired of her being upset about it. It wasn't really something that she wanted her sister to go through, but she couldn't really stop Nicole, either; she'd definitely tried.
Sebastian was used to this, having to move from school to school because of his father being in the military. Idly, he wondered how long he'd be at this school and he was sure it'd only be a week, or maybe a month at most. They didn't generally stick in places for long. This was probably his fifth school this school year and it was only a couple months in. It was irritating, but he dealt with it. As he looked around, he peered down at his schedule, taking in the information just like he did constantly. It probably wouldn't even be necessary for him to memorize all of this, especially when there was the possibility of not even staying long enough to be bothered with it, but he figured he might as well do what he could.
