Gabriel's entry into the auction house was unexpected. It was unlike him to turn up in person, with him usually having his goods delivered, but his mind was elsewhere this time. He had heard rumors of a particularly exotic creature making an appearance in auction tonight, and the concept truly intrigued him. Why spend so much money on lesser creatures? Because he could. Gabriel had never lacked money and so did as he pleased, acting often entirely on a whim. However, with the world truly being his oyster, Gabriel's attention span was just as short as his fuse and he would often grow quickly bored of his subjects. This one however, seemed completely different; something even he had never encountered before. A Fae had been listed as an auction product, and it intrigued Gabriel greatly.

At the back of a small cell, Heidi sat, arms bound together and head hanging in shame. A small amount of blood had smeared from the corner of her lip, but it wasn't her own. She had bitten one of her handlers, and the red handprint across her face was the result of their response. Dark hair hung over her expression as she turned away from onlookers, her breathing unsteady in a mix of fear and anger. In a matter of hours, her surroundings had turned from the safety of her own bedroom to this. Her clothing had been taken away, and had instead been draped in an off-white, over-sized shirt which barely retained her dignity. She knew why she was here, and it terrified her. The daughter of a human Lord, that's what they were selling her as. She knew little of the denizens she lived among, but in what seemed like a heartbeat, she had been thrown right at their feet. She pressed herself further against the wall, trying not to notice the wails coming from her neighboring cells, and trying even harder to go unnoticed herself.
