Gabriel's entry into the auction house was unexpected. It was unlike him to turn up in person, with him usually having his goods delivered, but his mind was elsewhere this time. He had heard rumors of a particularly exotic creature making an appearance in auction tonight, and the concept truly intrigued him. Why spend so much money on lesser creatures? Because he could. Gabriel had never lacked money and so did as he pleased, acting often entirely on a whim. However, with the world truly being his oyster, Gabriel's attention span was just as short as his fuse and he would often grow quickly bored of his subjects. This one however, seemed completely different; something even he had never encountered before. A Fae had been listed as an auction product, and it intrigued Gabriel greatly.

    -

At the back of a small cell, Heidi sat, arms bound together and head hanging in shame. A small amount of blood had smeared from the corner of her lip, but it wasn't her own. She had bitten one of her handlers, and the red handprint across her face was the result of their response. Dark hair hung over her expression as she turned away from onlookers, her breathing unsteady in a mix of fear and anger. In a matter of hours, her surroundings had turned from the safety of her own bedroom to this. Her clothing had been taken away, and had instead been draped in an off-white, over-sized shirt which barely retained her dignity. She knew why she was here, and it terrified her. The daughter of a human Lord, that's what they were selling her as. She knew little of the denizens she lived among, but in what seemed like a heartbeat, she had been thrown right at their feet. She pressed herself further against the wall, trying not to notice the wails coming from her neighboring cells, and trying even harder to go unnoticed herself.

Kennedy couldn't fathom why she was here. Her hands were tied to a bolt in the floor to keep her firmly on her knees. Her clothes were torn; blood and dirt caked her body in various spots and she itched to wash but no matter what way she twisted, there was no changing positions. She sank closer to the floor and closed her eyes tightly, praying that this was just some sort of horrible nightmare. She had heard the whispers as people passed by the cage she was in - is she really a fae? They don't come up very often... I wonder how much she'll go for. Fae? What the hell was a fae? Shuddering, Kennedy turned her head to the side so she could bury her face into her shoulder to attempt to hide the fresh tears that fell from her eyes. What was this place?
Boredom. That was the only reason that Adrian had decided to make his way to the auction house for the evening. There was nothing particularly amusing going on and he thought the idea of a new plaything would be exactly what he needed to spice up his evenings at the least. Maybe if he was lucky, Adrian could find a toy with attitude that he could break down and rebuild to be the perfect little plaything. The idea excited him and oh there she was. Adrian stepped forward, a smirk slipping onto his features as he caught sight of Heidi. Daughter of a lord? Prim and proper, she'd surely not take kindly to being a slave which only meant more fun for him.

"Look up and tell me your name," Adrian instructed, wrapping a hand around one of the bars of the couch.

Gabriel's expression bore little interest as he walked past countless cages and cells. He was headed towards one in particular, and upon arriving, took the time to read the short description of its inhabitant. Fae... He turned his vision into the cage itself, and he pondered at her face for a while. The blatant fear the poor thing felt was almost amusing, and a faint smile crept onto his expression.
"I'd like to see your face, dear." How very interesting indeed. Gabriel played a gentle facade on his voice; a mask he had become particularly known for. "And your name... What is your name?" He was often misunderstood as a kind individual; a result of the deeply manipulative false front he wears in order to get exactly what he wanted.

    -

Heidi's mind filled with dread as she heard a voice directed towards her. Her breath hitched, and she hesitated, before turning her head to glare at the man who had addressed her. A deep frown etched onto her expression, staring through the bars with deep hatred. Her arms tugged at their bindings behind her back gently. Fear made her angry. She thought about not answering him, in hopes of putting him off, but her eyes briefly averted to another man who stood not too far from the cell; the man who hit her. He looked at her expectantly, and she hung her head slightly, before looking back at the other.
"H-" she swallowed "Heidi." Her voice was small and weakened, and was dry of all emotion. Heidi did not intend to give in easily.

If Kennedy got her way, she would be released for some sort of reason and she could return home. She would never have to suffer through whatever horrible fate was awaiting her. No one seemed to stop long enough to assess her until someone had - she only knew because she could see the blurry outline of their feet standing in front of the sign in front of her cage. Kennedy felt her stomach lurch at the man's voice, her skin crawling. Why couldn't she just sink into the floor? Anything but be here. Swallowing around th elump that had formed in her throat, Kennedy looked up to fix a teary eyed glare on Gabriel. "Can't you read?" She snapped through gritted teeth before dropping her head back down.
His smirk only grew at the stutter in Heidi's introduction. Adrian raised an eyebrow, urging the young girl to continue and when she did, he exhaled slowly. "Heidi?" He tested the name on his tongue, nodding in approval after a moment. "I like it," he admitted, reaching through the bars of the cage. Adrian beckoned with one finger, licking over his lips before he finally decided to speak again. "Twirl around, sweetheart. Let me see you," Adrian paused, watching as she began to obey. "Ah, ah, slowly," he corrected with a wag of his finger.

Upon hearing such an unexpected remark, Gabriel's smirk grew into a smile of amusement as a soft chuckle escaped his lips. What a perfect reaction. His admiration of the girl was noticed by the Auctioneer, who approached him.
"You are interested in this auction lot?"
"I don't intend to bid; I'll pay the autosell price."
    "... Sir? The autoprice is-"
    "I'll pay."
Gabriel spoke sternly and surely, ensuring that she would be his.The auctioneer shrank away to fetch sales documents. Gabriel leaned against the bars of the cage, and the smile on his face suddenly turned very dark. "You will learn what it means to question the intelligence of your owner, dear rabbit."

    -

Heidi's heart sank as he beckoned her over to him. She wanted to disappear. She turned her head sideways, wiping the blood on her mouth onto her shoulder. She shifted her legs in an attempt to stand up, using the wall to rest on as she could not use her arms to raise herself. She stood still for a moment, her legs shaking slightly from weakness, to gain her balance. She turned around reluctantly, frowning deeply in humiliation. When she was told to do it again, however, something snapped. She glared at the man on the other side of the bars, and her teeth grinded in agitation. "Fuck you." she hissed. Fear always made Heidi incredibly defensive, and she tried refusing further embarrassment. It was also a rare thing to hear her curse.

Kennedy's breath was taken away with the man standing in front of her agreed to an autosell price. She watched the auctioneer through her bangs react in shock, that must have only meant that such a thing was maybe even more rare than her being here. Turning away the moment that the auctioneer scurried off, she felt her heart sink at his words. "Rabbits are quick, didn't you know?" She whispered, forcing away the smirk that wanted to show itself. "Maybe you don't know what you got yourself into, asshole."
Adrian tossed his head back and couldn't stop himself from laughing at the unexpected reaction. He suddenly straightened up, his eyes narrowing as he fixed Heidi with a glare. "Oh, sweetheart. Fucking me is going to be the least of your worries soon enough," he whispered, turning his head to gaze an auctioneer's attention. It didn't taken more than a moment - when Adrian was in the building, he rarely needed to wait for anything. With a smirk and a nod of his head, Adrian turned to walk away from the cage and out of the building. He slid into the back seat of his suv, waiting surprisingly patiently for Heidi to be brought out to him.

The smile of amusement never left Gabriel's expression; the girl's words only seemed to entertain his sadistic tendencies. He leaned forwards, clasping a hand around one of the bars. "The fox is faster." he said bluntly, stepping away from the bars and turning away. "Enjoy your remaining peace time, little rabbit." he taunted. He paid his hefty sum and exited the auction house, ever once looking back. There was something about the place he didn't like; probably the smell. He leaned against the door of his car with surprising patience, awaiting his purchase.

    -

Heidi's brow twitched in irritation when he laughed at her. I hate him. She quickly concluded her feelings. Her sudden rush of anger turned to dread as he threatened her, and her heart sank in fear as she watched him walk away. She backed herself up against the rear wall as her cell was opened, trying to shrink away from the handlers. "Do you... Do you know who I am?" Her threats went ignored. She was removed roughly, and the dirt from her skin was hastily washed away as she was cleaned up - her arms remained tied behind her back. She was led outside into the darkness, struggling to keep on her feet as she was dragged at her handler's pace. They stopped when they arrived at a large suv, and she stared wide eyed at the man within. Her nightmares had become very real. Why was this happening?

Kennedy flinched as the door to her cage was opened and not even a moment later, she was being untied from the floor. She was dragged by her upper arm, the guard leaning down to whisper to her about who had just bought her. How he almost felt bad for her because she had just landed herself in a terrible situation that even he wouldn't want to be in. Kennedy said nothing, only tried to curl her shoulders in on herself to protect her from whatever was coming as she was hosed down with cold water. It wouldn't do to deliver dirty goods, the guard laughed. The moment they stepped in front of Gabriel, Kennedy was shoved to her knees while the guard held out a yellow envelope. "Here are the papers, sir. Everything we know about her and the receipts, of course. I hope you enjoy your purchase," he spoke before bowing out and turning to leave Kennedy with her new owner.
Adrian smirked as he glanced to the side, eyeing the girl as she was brought out to him. He was quiet as the door was opened and he leaned forward to take the envelope from the guard. "Hurry up, I don't have all night to wait around for you people who don't understand how to move with any sense of speed," he snapped, giving a small wave of his hand to encourage the man to hurry it along. Heidi was shoved unceremoniously into the backseat of the suv. The same moment the door was slammed behind her, the driver sped off. Adrian was quiet for a few, long moments, listening intently to the sounds of both Heidi's breathing and her heart - oh, how hard it was beating.

"I don't bite, sweetheart. Why are you so scared?" Adrian asked, tilting his head to the side as he eyed Heidi. "One of the first things you'll learn about me is that when I ask a question, I expect an answer."

Gabriel took the envelopes and threw them through the open car window, with little interest. He gestured the guard to go away with a nod and after a moment, looked down at his purchase silently. "Not even a minute has passed, and you're already bowing to me?" he spoke with amusement, holding open the door to the backseat. "Stand, you sorry creature." His tone became darker, and he no longer smiled as he waited for her to enter the vehicle, slamming it shut behind her. He entered the drivers seat and took little time to set off, taking a moment every minute or so to glance at Kennedy through the mirror.

"Where are you from, little rabbit?" he asked out of interest. His voice suggested it was not an optional question, as did the way he looked through the mirror.

    -

Heidi let out a small cry as she was shoved into the car, instantly scrambling to get as far away from Adrian as possible. She didn't look at him; she daren't. She squeezed her eyes shut for a few moments, almost appreciating the silence while it lasted. Goosebumps prickled as he spoke to her finally, and her eyes opened. A flash of irritation appeared in her eyes, and she moved as though she was going to hit him, but her movements were cut short as she was reminded of the fact her arms were still sorely bound behind her. She glared at him harshly; fear causing her to act irrationally. "I..." she swallowed dryly, "I have no obligation to answer someone like you." Her breathing was shaky, a giveaway of her false bravery.

Kennedy refused to raise her gaze up enough to meet Gabriel's, she could already feel his eyes burning holes into it and it made her want nothing more than to shrink into the ground beneath her. She fixed her glare on his feet, saying nothing as she managed to push herself up without too much trouble. Climbing in, Kennedy flinched as the door was slammed. She wasted no time in squirming as far from that side of the vehicle, leaning against the opposite door. Pulling her legs up, Kennedy set her head on her knees, refusing to look toward the front seat.

"Stop. Calling me that!" Kennedy snapped through gritted teeth, closing her eyes tightly.
Adrian was rather patient as he waited for an answer, tilting his head to the side as he eyed his purchase. She looked innocent... oh, so innocent. He would enjoy every moment of breaking her down into the perfect little plaything. Rubbing his jaw, Adrian raised an eyebrow at the harshness of her tone. "That was not the answer I wanted, sweetheart," Adrian scolded with a shake of his head. He leaned forward so that he could wrap his fingers around Heidi's upper arm, dragging her closer to him. "I'm going to give you one more chance because if you don't behave, sweetheart, do you think your sister will, hm? And to think I wouldn't even have to pay a price for her! I could just... go and... take as I see fit."

Gabriel snapped in irritation at Kennedy's stubborness, striking the window with the side of his fist. "You lost the privelage of having a name the moment you refused to tell me it. As it stands, you are worthy of little more than a rabbit. And now, I will ask you again," he raised a brow, not blinking once. "Where are you from?" Fearmongering was something Gabriel had always been good at - he was a man of manipulative ways and would shomesheer aggression when questioned or if he didn't get his own way. He remained silent, awaiting a more favourable answer.

    -

Heidi winced as she was dragged towards Adrian, still trying to lean away from him and resist his pull. At the mention of her sister, her heart skipped a beat, and she stared at her captor with wide, disbelieving eyes. "You... you wouldn't..." she breathed, her hands beginning to tremble behind her. What was she thinking? Of course he would. After a moment of hesitation, she hung her head in defeat, breaking eye contact. "I want to go home," she whispered, resisiting tears. "I... I'm scared of where you're taking me." She gave the best answer she could. Please don't hurt my family.

Kennedy let out a small shout of surprise, raising her gaze to meet Gabriel's for the first time when he slammed his hand into the window. Her eyes were wide and it took her several attempts at opening and closing her mouth before she found her voice, "j-just a small town. It doesn't matter," she mumbled, averting her gaze again. Kennedy pressed back into her seat, turning her head to brush her cheek against her shoulder. She didn't want to start crying, not in front of this asshole who thought he owned her! How ridiculous. "I have no idea what you want from me but I have nothing to offer you. Nothing at all."
"Do you know me well enough to make such claims?" Adrian asked, a wicked smirk settling onto his features. "Enough to test your little theory out?" He reached up, stroking her cheek with the back of his hand before he pulled away. Nodding when she answered, Adrian hummed quietly to himself. Leaning his head against the headrest, he didn't bother looking in her direction. "Tell me about yourself. How innocent are you, really? What am I toying with here?"

Gabriel's temper quickly subsided, perhaps due to the light amusement he gained from hearing her fall over her own words. "Whether you think it matters or not, you answer me when I ask questions. Perhaps life stories are best saved for later then, hm?"The road turned to dirt as they drove through the gates of his home. The house they pulled up in front of was grand, even in the darkness. Taking a moment to gaze into the surrounding night, he walked around the car and to the rear seats. He opened and held the side door open, stepping to the side and beckoning Kennedy to get out. "Out. I've got some ground rules to cover with you."

    -

When Adrian let go of her arm, Heidi instantly shoved herself away from him again, leaning against the far door. Her hands felt around for the handle, but her bindings made her attempts fruitless. She looked up at him when he questioned her innocence, swallowing a nervous lump in her throat. "I... don't know what you mean." She murmured. She knew exactly what he meant. Her strict upbringing and homeschooling kept her away from men. She tried to steady her breathing; she would see how far playing dumb would get her.

Kennedy didn't dare open her mouth to voice her opinion on the matter, focused solely on the way her feet pressed the material of the seat down. She tensed as the sound of the tires changed, indicating they were on something softer than the tar road and when they slowed to a halt, Kennedy said a silent prayer for whatever God was listening to whisk her away from here. Pushing herself toward the now open door, Kennedy stumbled as she climbed out, only catching herself on the edge of the door. She whimpered, reaching to tug down her little white shirt as far as she could, wanting to cover as much of herself as possible. "Can't I have something better to wear?!"
Adrian let out a bitter laugh as he leaned forward to study Heidi's features. "Sweetheart, I don't have very much patience for two things. Someone who thinks they can lie to me, especially knowing that I can detect the little blip in your heartbeat," he said, a wicked grin appearing on his lips. "And straight up disobedience. Now. Do you want to change your answer or would you just prefer for me to take you here and now? Not somewhere a little more, er, romantic?" Adrian wiggled his eyebrows, reaching over to set a hand on her thigh. He pushed his hand further up, his fingers brushing over the thin material of her underwear. "You are rather accessible, sweetheart."

Gabriel raised a brow as Kennedy stumbled from the vehicle, slamming the door shut behind her. "I'm sure there's something suitable for you to wear." His eyes flashed with amusement, and a small grin played on his expression. "Inside, dear rabbit." He placed a hand on the small of Kennedy's back, ushering her through the front doors.

The entrance to the house was well decorated with reds and dark oaks; certainly fitting of a man with such a vast amount of wealth. Gabriel removed his Jacket, hanging it on the coatstand beside the door. "Noise," he began. "I despise loud and unnecessary noises. Keep your volume modest, dear." He began to list his rules. "No mess - and no touching things that arent yours. No exploring; no midnight wanders. And..." he faded off, turning to firmly grasp Kennedy's chin between his thumb and finger. "No one touches you, except me."

    -

Heidi held her breath in fear as he leaned towards her, her muscles tensing defensively. Her wide eyes locked onto his for a brief moment, and she jumped and whimpered at his touch, clasping her legs shut in instant response. "No! No..." she panicked, shakily regaining her breath. She closed her eyes for a second in hesitation. "I haven't - I've never had a partner." She whispered, flushed with humiliation. She looked away, almost out of shame, now fully realising exactly why he had bought her. She wanted to disappear. Part of her wished for this journey to end, but she feared what awaited her when it did.

Kennedy's skin broke out into goosebumps at the intimate hand on her back. She was spurred into action, wanting to get away from it but that seemed impossible because no matter how quickly she moved, Gabriel seemed to be just a step behind her. She kept her eyes directed downward as Gabriel led her inside, only to come to a stop when she did. She had no clue how to get around, trying to run away would him would only serve to piss him off and make a fool of herself all at once.

Gritting her teeth as her head was forced upward, Kennedy couldn't help but to glare at Gabriel. "So what? Are you going to lock me in a room and force me to stay there until you decide it's playtime?"
Adrian squeezed Heidi's thigh, his smile turning nearly genuine as he relaxed back into his seat. The vehicle began to slow after they took a turn and it only took a moment of looking out the window before Adrian let out a small, triumphant laugh. "Oh, sweetheart. You're in for a world oof new things," he whispered as they came to a halt. It was only another moment before the door was being pulled open behind him. Adrian climbed out before reaching over, dragging Heidi out unceremoniously. "I'll tell you what, sweetheart. If you behave, I won't hurt you until tomorrow. Give you a little bit of time to," he paused, chuckling to himself. "get settled in, if you will."

A gentle chuckle rose from Gabriel's throat, mildly amused by her response. He held her chin for a few moments longer. "If this attitude of yours keeps up, then precisely, dear rabbit," he spoke softly, "I'll lock you in a room and force you to stay there until I decide it's playtime." He let go of her chin, and brushed his knuckles across her cheek lightly. "I'll show you where you'll be sleeping now, hm?" Gabriel turns away from Kennedy, making his way up the main staircase, expecting her to follow. She'd be a fool to try and turn heels on him.

    -

Heidi's face pinked as she was blatantly laughed at. As mix of dread and frustration caused her breathing to shake and she did her best to try and ignore his threatening words. A small cry was let out as she was grabbed and dragged frok the vehicle however, snapping back into reality. She barely managed to catch her balance due to her immobile arms and she hadto partly lean against the vehicle in order to stay standing. She did not like what she was hearing one bit, but she was almost relieved to hear that she might have a chance of rest tonight. "Could..." was it smart to ask him to do something? "My arms... could you untie them?"

Kennedy glared, jerking away from Gabriel's touch. "Don't. Touch. Me," she hissed through gritted teeth, taking a deep breath. As he walked away, Kennedy looked to the doors that they had just come through. She could just make a run for it but the sound of Gabriel's footsteps was enough to spur her forward to follow him, as reluctant as she was.

"how can I change my clothes if my hands are tied? You said I could," Kennedy muttered as she was led to the room she would sleep in.
Adrian set a hand on Heidi's back to lead her inside; a small smirk coming to his lips as he looked down to her. "Once we make it up to your room. I don't want you trying anything funny," he answered after a moment of consideration. Adrian led the way inside and straight over to the grand staircase that was presented just outside of the foyer. "If you behave, and listen to what I say, your time here will not be as horrid as you imagine. How this ends for you is entirely up to you," he spoke, giving Heidi a light shove up the stairs when he didn't think that she was moving fast enough.

The corridor they walked down was as finely decorated as the rest of the house. Vases on pedestals and various paintings were hung between each door; one of which Gabriel stoppes to open, shutting it as they both entered. A low sigh escaped his lips. He was becoming quckly bored of her current attitude. With a quick motion, he took a firm hold of Kennedy's tied wrists and pinned them above her head, pushing her hard against the wall. "You will find," he growled, his face inches from hers, "That the longer you keep up this cocky persona, the more miserable your life from here on out becomes." He ripped her hand ties, and let go of her suddenly, stepping back towards the large pine set of drawers which matched the rest of the furniture. With little effort, Gabriel dragged one of the drawers completely out, letting it drop to the floor. It was full of various women's clothes - questionable women's clothes.

"You want a change of clothes? Go right ahead." He gestured mockingly, seating himself the reading chair at the other end of the room, watching her intently.

    -

Heidi flinched slightly as she was physically escorted; Adrian's sinister touch sent a wave of goosebumps prickling up the back of her neck. Every fibre of her being longed for her to escape somehow. She pondered, unsure as to whether resisting or behaving would be the best option. She did not want to make things harder than they already were, but at the same time, the idea of becoming an obedient plaything disgusted her. Heidi was torn back from her daydreaming as she was pushed up the stairs, and her expression was suddenly overcome with irritation as she struggled to keep her balance.
