Kristen groaned in annoyance as she stood at the counter of the coffee shop. "It's simple, I ordered an Iced Chai Tea latte, with a double shot of espresso." She slammed the cool drink down on the counter, nearly breaking the plastic cup open. She rolled her eyes as the woman in front of her babbled her apologies and took the cup from her.
"I mean really, it's not that hard, you put one shot in and then the other." She mumbled as she turned to lean against the counter. As she did the rest of the customers looked away. Kristen pulled her phone from her pocket and sighed heavily. Classes started in thirty minutes, she was probably going to be late.
It was her second year of college, she was a regular student. She didn't over achieve, she missed a few classes. But, she tried not to slack off to much. She thought for a moment that she should call Kent and let him know she might be late. She decided not too, he'd probably already be in class by now, she didn't want to disturb him. Even though the coffee shop was on campus, she still had to walk half way across it to get to her first class. Kristen hoisted her backpack on her shoulders, they were starting to ache slightly.
"Ma'am....your coffee." The meek woman from behind her handed her her brand new latte, without even a second glance Kristen sprinted from the coffee shop, and into the hot sun outside.

Corey Taylor walked through the halls of one of the campus buildings. His dark sunglasses still covering his eyes. They'd still be red and puffy from exhaustion. He had stayed up way to late the night before. He had been playing his guitar. He was a music Major, but right now he had literature, a basic everyone in college needed. He wasn't to worried about the class, his two friends and girlfriend were in it with him. If Kristen or Kent didn't catch him up on the class, he was sure Quinn would.
As he walked through the hall way he bumped shoulders with people, giving no thought to them stopping or asking him what his problem was. He was to tired to care, as he approached the lecture hall, he pulled his glasses from his face, and folded them before placing them in his pocket. Stalking up the steps towards his seat in the far back he chunked his bag down at his feet as he slid into his chair. He laid his head on the desk and closed his eyes, he hadn't noticed if anyone had gotten there yet.
