Moon River [closed]

Spencer was standing in the back dressed in black with his arms crossed he had a sullen look. He had just lost a close friend due to some vampire coven surprise attack. He was full of anger and sadness and didn't know how to express it without being too dramatic. He paced around his thoughts clouding his mind, how this could have been prevented. Spencer knew this wouldn't haunt him for many years to come and he felt angry thinking about it,

He ran a hand through his short dark hair as he walked by some people, who kept stopping him and giving condolences he nodded appreciated it. How could he move on? He still blamed himself for this, it could have been avoided but his pack kept reassuring Spencer it wasn't his fault. He sighed, this had been a nightmare, packs were family and it hurt every time they lost one of their family.

Lydia wasn't sure how she felt about this change, how would the rest of pack take it? She wasn't sure why she was picked, there were others more capable than she was. That's what the chief had wanted, her to be the alpha and though she argued how the males would not take her seriously or mock her they stood behind the decision. She groaned softly, looking at her sister Carmen who was behind her braiding Lydia's hair. "They're not going to like this... I don't know if I can be a leader" Lydia sighed. Carmen scoffed, "please, have you seen yourself hunt? You've protect all the pups and you care for them, you're going to be a great leader. You always putthe pack before anything else and that what they look for. You're a great candidate and it's not just a pride thjng for you, that's what it's for most of these machos" She ltold her.

Lydia sighed turning to her sister and hugging her, "you always know how to lift my spirits" Carmen grinned, "I mean you're a babe too, so they'll have something nice to look at" She joked. Lydia rolled her eyes,"better go break the news to these males, " She mumbled walking out the tent.

Aspen stood back a little from the wolves with a few witches from her coven. Now that the witches and the werewolves had started working together it was a loss for all of them. Aspen was a younger witch, but she was also a very strong one. She was the one who had been keeping the wolf who had died out of pain as the vampires poison worked its way through the mans body. Everyone knew a vampire's bite could drive a wolf crazy, causing them to turn on family even. Apsen had a strong connection with the wolves because of the vile of wolves blood that hung from her neck. It had been enchanted by one of the elders of the coven so she communicate with the wolves even when they turned. It was their alpha's blood, Spencer. She had never really spoke to the man though besides him yelling at her the night before to save his friend and how she was a silly little girl that knew nothing. Aspen bit her bottom lip lightly as she watched the large man pacing back and forth. She watched as the group of people started to disperse from the grave site. Aspen went to walk, bumping into Spencer, "Sorry." She said, frowning when he turned with pure hate in his eyes.

Bryce moved through the woods with his pack, today they were meeting with their rival pack. They wanted piece, but all he wanted was them out of the town. Bryce frowned when he saw a girl standing there talking with a bunch of men. He chuckled when he heard her announce she was alpha. Bryce stepped out from the shadows, laughing, "Are you fucking kidding me?" He asked, looking around at her pack. "A girl?" He said, pointing at her. "Might as well quit now." He said, chuckling with his pack. He looked at her, glaring. "Heard your pack wanted peace...now i know why. They got a girl running the show." He said, moving through her pack. He jumped up on her little stage she had and stood in front of her, crossing his arms. "Go ahead and talk princess you seem to want their loyalty...earn it." He said, glaring down at her as his pack moved in to keep Bryce safe.

Spencer wasn't the soft type so he hardly ever cried, he had excused himself a few times to wipe the tears away. He had met the witch who tried saving him the previous night and failed and that made Spencer angry, he was just angry that was his way of mourning. He wasn't always that way, he was headed back to his pack when the clumsy witch ran into him. He scowled at her, "watch where you're going witch!" His breathing was heavy as he watched the woman tremble, he didn't even know why they had agreed on working with them. He guessed it was better then blood ducking monsters, the witches had been helpful but Spencer wasn't going to admit that. He pushed past Aspen and headed to grab something to drink, alcohol might help him forget his troubles.

Lydia had finished talking to her pack about her being an alpha and they had no problem with Lydia, they all knew how strong and protective she was. She went out her way for them and had almost died a couple times to protect them. She turned around when she heard the other pack's alpha start talking shit. She frowned, she had a feeling something like this might happen. One of her pack members called out, "she's tougher than she looks" Lydia placed a hand on Taylor the man who had defended her, he was always so good to her. Lydia wasn't going to take this, she walked up on stage and stood in front of Bryce. Her eyes cold as she stared at her, "we want peace because we figured if we worked together we can have a stronger allegiance against common enemies.." She glared at him as his pack chuckled, "being a woman doesn't stop me from doing what the man does, I am just as capable of doing the same shit you do." She continued to talk to them about why she was chosen by her pack and it wasn't weakness it should strength and loyalty.

Aspen frowned as he walked off with the rest of his pack. "Aspen!" She heard someone call. She turned to see the girl she had sent to get a vampire tooth. Aspen was planning to see what they had planned next. Aspen smiled as she took it from the girl, "Perfect." She said, smiling a little. Aspen watched as the rest of the coven went to join the wolves for their little get together. Aspen looked at Lily, "Go join them." She said. Aspen moved away and found somewhere away from the party. She didn't want to draw attention. Aspen sat down and pulled some herbs from her purse. Aspen bit her bottom lip lightly as she closed her eyes and started to channel her powers. She felt the wind begin to pick up and she was at ease.

Bryce laughed, "There isn't going to be peace. We will not be one." He growled. "You need to pack up your pack and leave. Our pack was here long before yours." He said, narrowing his eyes. "Your pack is foolish to make you alpha." He said, looked around at them. "You'll lead them to their deaths." He said, not carrying if there was children around. In his pack the children were around for every meeting no matter how harsh. They believed it built warriors. Bryce stared at her, "Don't start a war you don't want. Get your pack out of here." He said.

Spencer was sitting around with his friends as they shared memories Austin their fallen friend. He had been such a caring and strong man who left behind two little ones and Spencer vowed to get revenge. He would rip out the vampire's heart and squeeze it. He stood up and patted his brother'and back as he said he was going for a walk. Spencer noticed the witch who was alone working on something, probably finding the vampire. The deal was the wolves would protect the coven if they helped them with whatever they needed of the magical realm. Spencer watched her for a moment, well, she wasn't bad looking but she was annoying, or at least he thought so. Frowning he turned away and continued his walk.

Lydia stared at him for a moment, "I tried being civil about this but you refuse to take me seriously, if it was my father it would be a different story." She stood her ground and placed her hands on her hips, "what are you that threaten by a woman that you refuse to work with one? I mean you're fine fucking them but have trouble taking orders from them? A real man wouldn't have a problem with me, so that must make you a boy." She grabbed her bag, "fine, drown in your machismo, you won't get far with that attitude, I can find other allegiances" She gathered her pack, "let's just go they refuse to work with us, no matter how hard I try all they see is a woman who is only good for a good time." Lydia was so annoyed, she watched her pack leave she turned around and glared at the cockyoung little basted who had insulted her, "and I'm the joke? Yeah right," she left a few moments later.

Aspen frowned when she seen a vision of the vampires talking about killing the wolf. The wolf blood on her necklace began to boil in it's vile, causing an anger to grow in Spencer. Though Aspen didn't know her magic effected Spencer in that way. Aspen frowned when the vision got foggy. She wanted to know what they were saying, but it seemed impossible. Aspen sighed and tried again, hearing they were planning a war. She came out of her trance and then looked around her, seeing Spencer in the distance. Aspen gathered her things and caught up to him, "Spencer." She said, finally catching up to him. "The vampires....they are planning an attack." She said, looking up at him as she held her bag close to herself.

Bryce smirked, "Partly, but the other part is i just don't like you." He said, glaring at her. He smirked as she stomped off. "Bye." He said, watching as the pack left. He jumped down from the stage and then moved over to his pack. His father had been killed by a hunter the month before so Bryce was still getting the hang of things. He told his pack to head back and sighed as he sat down on a tree stump. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked around as the wind blew. There was so much stuff he should have been taught, but now he had to figure it out himself. Bryce would find the hunter that killed his father and avenge him. Bryce looked over as he caught the girl looking back at him. He frowned, narrowing his eyes at her, his canine eyes flashing. He didn't like people to see him in his weak points.

Spencer was drawn to the damn witch she was annoying and he wanted nothing to do with her. Spencer was headed back to the tents when Aspen cs,e running he raised an eyebrow, why did she keep coming back? He stared at her in confusion as she explained what was going on. "Shit, okay well, let's go tell the rest and get prepared " Spencer walked back to the camp Aspen not far behind and began telling his pack the news.

Lydia hated the man already, "you don't even know me, how can you form an opinion on someone you don't know. . Whatever. " She watched the man sulk and she had caught a glimpse on him being weak. She simply shrugged it off and walked towards her pack, she had heard about his father being killed in a similar way her own father had died. "So now what? " Carmen asked her sister, "he'll come around, when he needs information from us and we have plenty."

Aspen followed behind Spence and listened to him as he spoke to them. She bit her bottom lip lightly as one of the guys said they should just come kill all of them. Aspen heard one of his pack members suggest that Spencer wasn't fit to lead since the man had just died. Aspen glared at the guy, feeling a need to protect Spencer. Aspen looked back at Spencer, seeing how angry he was getting. She hated that all of this had to happen. She wished they could just go back to the way things were.

Bryce left the area and returned to his packs village. He frowned as he walked into his house, letting the door behind him slam. Part of him knew eventually he would have to work with that girl and her pack, but for now he had to stand his ground. Showing weakness was not something he was going to do. Bryce knew the hunters would come soon and they needed to be ready.

[maybe Lydia's pack gets attacked by the hunters and Bryce helps her?]

Spencer grew angry as he began explaining to them that he tried and that leaders make mistakes and he wasn't having it. They had to protect the pack and thr little ones from those blood sucking monsters. He managed to get everyone prepared and stopped arguing with him. He looked at Aspen and walked towards her, Clearing his throat, "uh thanks for the information"

Lydia and he pack settled down somewhere and started a small fire to cook some food. She just thought maybe the guy would put his pride aside and help them out, no such luck. "You tried and that's what matters we can make it okay?" Her sister told her.

Aspen nodded, "No problem." She said, looking over at her coven who was ready to go. "I have to be going. If you need any help just stop by my house." She said. She knew most of the time they could help them in a big battle like this. She smiled at him, "Bye." She said. She walked and walked out with her coven. Aspen was relieved to be home. She set her things down then went to her room and got changed into something more comfortable. She hoped everything would work out.

Bryce decided to go for a walk and sighed. He frowned when he heard something and hid, seeing a few hunters moving through the woods. He frowned when he realized they were moving towards the other pack. Bryce followed them, then watched as the attack started. He turned to his wolf form then appeared on a rock, growling at one of the hunters. He stood taller than almost all of Lydia's pack. Bryce howled, alerting his pack in the distance. He lunged at the guy that was about to shoot at Lydia, latching onto the man's neck. He began to rip the man's flesh, screams filling the woods.

Spencer had no idea what came over him, his anger towards Aspen had died down and e found himself confused, she was a witch maybe she had done something to him? Probably not, "bye" as he walked back to his pack everyone was in high alert waiting for the leeches to show up

Lydia and her pack were just hanging out and getting ready to call it a night when they heard something. Lydia was the first to sit up and hush then walking over near some trees men came out and started to attsck ten and she quickly transformed and attacked the men. She was on one of their backs biting and scratching blood and screaming as they they fought. She heard gunshots and blinked. She ess thrown on the ground having a gun pointed at her face she was expecting the worst when out of thin air another wolf bounced on the man and killed him. She jumped on all four and watched him. Why was he even helping her?

Aspen walked into her grandmother magic shop the next day, frowning when she realized the window had been busted out. She walked inside, seeing that the place had been destroyed. Luckily her grandmother had already told the rest of the coven. Aspen crossed her arms and glared at the mess. It was clear the vampires were trying to scare them off. Aspen walked out then went to Spencer's house. She beat on the door loudly then stepped back waiting for him to answer it.

Bryce pulled away, blood dripping from his mouth. He moved after some other hunters and a few took off running only to be met by his pack waiting. Screams could be heard through the woods. Bryce back a man into a tree, "Dear god please no." He said as he dropped his weapon. Bryce stopped for a moment, letting the man relax. He leaped at the guy, killing him. Bryce pulled away , looking around at her pack. He looked over, seeing they had killed a kid.

Spencer was sitting on the counter talking plans to kill those leeches when he heard a pounding at the door. He stood up rubbing his hand through his hair, "I guess we better eat up and then get to more plans," he told them before going to answer the door, frowning when he saw the look on Aspen's face. "What's wrong?"

Lydia looked over running towards Carmen holding her child, crying into the corpse. Lydia balled her first eyes welling up wit tears but she wasn't going to cry, not enough front of the man who had mocked her earlier. She sat next to her. Sister and rubbed her back. "We'll find them I promise," Lydia hugged ger sister.

Aspen frowned, "They destroyed my grandmother's shop! That's what's wrong." She said as she walked into his house. "I'm so sick of being caught in the middle of this stupid war you have going on. So take care of it or i'm just gonna wipe you both off the map." She said, glaring at him. She was upset and clearly not speaking in her right mind.

Bryce had turned and put on a pair of jeans before he walked over to Lydia. He looked down at her, "Sick of this yet?" He said softly. He wanted to go hunt them down. "I'm going after them." He said, looking off into the woods. He looked behind him seeing his pack standing there waiting. Bryce looked at Lydia before walking off and headed back to his village to prepare to go after these people. He was sick of them killing wolves for no reason.

Spencer frowned at the witch what did she what him to do about it? Why was she angry with him? It wasn't his fault. He growled and looked at Aspen staring down at her, "then do it already witch, I was just thinking we could get along I guess not , so either blow me up now or go do something useful" he snapped at her.

Lydia's dress was torn and she was angry and sad and wanted to kill the fuckers who killed her nephew. She looked at him, "I've been sick of this why do you think I came to you for help? And you just told us to go away" she turned her back to him, Lydia walked back to her home and changed into jeans and a tank top, "I'm going to kill the rest of them. They aren't going to get away with this I promise, someone needs to stay with the pups and I need help"

Aspen glared at him, "Fine. You want useful...fine." She said, walking out, slamming his door. She went back to her house and pulled out her mother old spell book, looking through it. Her grandmother told her to never mess with it because it was dark magic. Aspen would get rid of the vampire though.

Meanwhile a witch named Julia walked into the wolves meeting hall with two of her friends and looked at them. "You all are making a mistake trusting your leader and his witch friends." She said. She wanted Aspen dead along with her mother. "A lot of you don't know Aspen mom. Little did you know she's the reason you are living and breathing." She said, smirking. "Let me show you." She said as she used her magic to project a vision so everyone could see.

The vision started and everyone's attention turned towards where the witch was showing them it. Aspen's mom was practically a mirror image of herself. Mishka walked through the graveyard trying to find a tomb. She smiled when she found the one she needed. She grabbed the sledge hammed she brought, breaking into the tomb. She walked in, shining a flashlight. She smiled when she seen the tomb, "There you are." She said, moving over to the grave. She pushed it open, looking down at the preserved man. She smiled then started to set up to do the spell. Mishka closed her eyes after lighting the candles. Mishka began to chant, a loud crack of thunder and her eyes opened black. She began to chant demonically then a silence happened and the candles flames shot up. She cut her hand, dripping the blood over the guy. Mishka stepped back, smiling when she realized it worked. She manged to get the man out while he was unconscious and dragged him to the warehouse she had for herself and a friend. Mishka chained him up, "So what you going to tame a house pet?" The man behind her said, laughing. Mishka looked behind her, glaring at the guy, "Won't be saying that when he eats you." She said, laughing. She stood up, "Now we wait for him to wake up." She said.

A couple days later Mishka walked down, smiling when she saw he was away. "Oh good you're awake." She said, seeing the man looked up with red eyes, the sign of an original alpha. She walked over to him and grabbed his chin, tilting it up, "And they said i couldn't bring back a werewolf. They really underestimate me here." She said as she ran her fingers through his hair. "Micheal right?" She said, smiling when he nodded. "I have big plans for us, but first i need to get you a pack to lead." She said as she looked down at him. "Hungry?" She asked, smiling as her friend walked in with some food. She brought the food for him and waited. "We are going to bring your species back, but you have to work with me." She said. Micheal nodded, "Anything to bring them back." He said as he stood up. Mishka walked over to him and unhooked the chains, looking up at him. "Come on." She said. She walked with Micheal into the woods and her friend, Vince. Vince sighed, "So what we just wait for a wolf to walk by and hope it's a werewolf." He said laughing. Mishka glared at him, "No you have to bring the scared ones out." she said, looking at Micheal as he turned into a massive wolf and howled. Mishka smiled, "Then you kill their alpha." She said as she appeared up in a tree, "Vince you might want to high. Wolves hate witches." She said, smiling. She smiled as the wolves appeared, finding their alpha. She put a barrier up around Micheal and the alpha so nobody could help and watched as the alpha was slaughtered. She dropped the barrier and dropped to the ground. "Looks like you have a new alpha." She said, smiling as she stood next to Micheal.

Months went by and Mishka and Micheal's relationship grew into something romantic. Mishka walked down the street one night and smiled as Micheals pack began to slaughter people and creatures. Mishka stood in the streets smiling as she watched the scene unfold in front of her. Everything was going great. She disappeared with Micheal and smiled as she kissed him deeply. She frowned when she heard someone, seeing julia. The witch that was trying to stop her. "Mishka you need to stop this madness." She said. Micheal turned, growling at the small girl. Mishka smiled, "Don't piss me off." She said, "I wouldn't want you to get hurt." She said, glaring.

The vision skipped.

Mishka was walking along one night frowning when she heard people. She looked behind her, seeing the witches. Miska fought against him, failing in the end, screaming as she was stabbed and fell to the ground. Meanwhile Micheal was in the middle of fighting with some vampires. He stopped walking and felt something come over him. He frowned as blood began to drip from his mouth. He looked over at a young wolf before dropping to the ground, dying slowly. Mishka's mother appeared to late, seeing Mishka on the ground, "You fools." She said, glaring at them. The woman ran to her house, locking her doors. She moved up to the attic, flipping on the light. She looked down at the baby in the crib, "I'll save you." She whispered softly.

Julia stared at them, "History is only repeating itself." She said, glaring at Spence. Aspen part wolf why do you think she is so strong on the full moon." she said, laughing.

Bryce walked through the woods, stopping when he seen Lydia, "Why don't you head back before you get hurt." He said, staring at her. His pack watched her closely. He knew that this wasn't going to end well. Hell he would probably die tonight. He knew that he had to get rid of these guys though. He was so angry and he was taking it out on her.

Spencer watched his blood boiling as he watched the witch do some of her magic to show past events. He glared at her and stood up, "what are you saying? That I'm gonna end up like that? With Aspen? Right!" He laughed angrily. He couldn't even stand being in the same room with her and he explained that too, "you can leave if you're trying to start some sort of drama.."

Lydia growled and glared at him, "you underestimate me and you need to quit that, also, it wasn't one of your pack that died it was mine and I have to take care f this myself so why don't you go, if I die then so be it. I don't need your charity or whatever this is, you don't like me or my pack remember? " she pushed past him.

Julia frowned, "You dont know how wrong you are." She said before she walked off. Aspen smiled as she figured out a way to stop the vampires. She walked down the street and released a magic dust around their area. Aspen went back to Spencers, feeling people giving her weird looks. Aspen watched as he opened his door, "I took care of your problem." She said walking in. She turned, seeing him looking at her weird. "What? Whats wrong?" She asked. Sure he didnt like her but he had been civil so far.

Bryxe frowned, " they took from us too." He said glaring. "Lets just be good for now." He said. He wanted to join forces for one night. It couldnt hurt to help each other for one night.

Spencer shook his head as he watched the witch walk out and saw Aspen walk in. He looked at Aspen and shook his head pushing past her, "just keep your distance from me" he mumbled.

Lydia laughed sarcastically. "Now you need my help, now you want me around?! You know what I don't need you and if I die fighting for my pack and blood then so be it." She left with her lack in search of those damn hunters.
