Lily ran her fingers through her long red hair as she looked around the flat full of boxes. Honestly, she had no idea where to even start when it came to unpacking everything, there was just so much stuff it almost seemed impossible to get everything done even with magic. Though she did kind of refuse to use magic for most things, not because it wasn't helpful because it was. But because Lily would always be a muggle at heart and one of the many things she always cherished was the memories she made with her family and her muggle friends, she'd see them over the summers before leaving for Hogwarts, unpacking boxes. It was either helping someone move into a new house, helping her parents set up the Christmas tree or just helping someone redecorate. And all these things she'd done without magic. So even now as an adult who could actually do magic without getting into any trouble, as long of course as she used it properly and didn't use it in front of any muggles, didn't want to wave her wand to get things done when she was perfectly capable of doing it. Plus they'd all miss out on the memories.
"So where are we starting with this stuff?" Sirius asked as he walked into the flat with the last box of things the newlyweds owned. "And I hope to God you two don't have any more stuff because I feel like I've just spent half my life bringing in boxes," he told them knowing that wasn't true. They'd only been unpacking boxes for maybe like an hour or so. Which wasn't that bad, he assumed it wasn't that bad anyways. Really he'd never unpacked boxes before. Though really he'd never actually had enough stuff to really need boxes to pack it all into. When he'd moved in with James back in 6th year he'd kind of just showed up leaving the majority of his things at his parents home. He'd then, of course, had to buy all new things, and really he didn't accumulate that much more stuff before they'd graduated from Hogwarts and he and Emma moved in together. Which they'd bought what they needed usually as they needed it so there had never been too much to moving in for him. Which thinking about made him a little upset because there were things that he remembered having as a child that he would've loved to still have but it wasn't likely that he'd ever see that stuff again.
[ again I am so sorry this took me forever to get out! And I would've had it out sooner but well I just had a super long day! I didn't forget though which is what matters! Hope it was good!!
