Brian nodded at her suggestion, taking her out onto the back porch. Everyone should be arriving at any minute now, so they might as well let the two inside have a few moments to themselves before everyone got here. As well as he and Eleanor, Brian wanted just a little bit of alone time with her. Brian grinned and wrapped his arms around her as he leaned back against the railing of the porch, sighing contently. "I sure hope so. Not that I don't enjoy hanging out with your sister, but I really enjoy hanging out with you more. I just want more alone time, you know?" he said, biting down on his bottom lip. He smirked when she said that he might get rewarded for getting everything that she asked done today, raising a brow. "Rewarded, huh? I look forward to that," he said softly. Brian couldn't wait for later tonight after the get together. He couldn't wait to get her alone and spend some much needed quality time with her. It felt like forever since they really did anything intimate. They had such a special connection when ever they did anything of the sort that convinced Brian even more that she was his mate. But the more he thought about it, the more scared he got about someday telling her what he was. What if she got terrified of him being a werewolf and ran off? What if she couldn't stand the thought of him turning into a beast and couldn't love him anymore? But finding your mate was a mutual thing, it wasn't just for the wolf. It was almost a soul mate sort of thing. They felt it to, but unless were also a werewolf, they didn't know what they were feeling. They just thought they were madly in love and in more ways than one.
Their time was cut short when Johnny came through the back gate, cooler in tow. "Sup guys," he said, beer in hand already. Brian rolled his eyes and sighed heavily, shaking his head. Not long after that Zacky followed suit, an even bigger cooler behind him. "Let's get this party started!" He sang, doing a little dance before setting his cooler somewhere. "This is going to be a very interesting night," he said with a small chuckle, kissing the top of Eleanor's head. Brian really loved his friends, but sometimes they could be a bit of a handful. Especially when they all got drunk together, sometimes they couldn't control their wolves. But they had to desperately try their hardest to do that tonight, especially since they had two people that didn't know their secret to worry about.
Eva bit down on her bottom lip, not even noticing that Eleanor and Brian left to go outside. She was way to into Matt at the moment. When he mentioned the book he was reading, a shit eating grin spread across her face and she stepped closer to him, super excited. "Oh my gosh, I love that book," she said excitedly, bouncing up and down. "Right now I'm rereading rereading Romeo and Juliet, it's honestly one of my absolute favorite tragic love stories," she said with a small sigh. "I'm a total bookworm. That's all I ever do is read. I'm not sure if Eleanor ever mentioned it, but I don't ever do anything. I never go out. Like, ever. Unless she drags me somewhere, but other than that I just work and go home," she said with a small, embarrassed giggle. It wasn't like that was something she wanted to do, that was just how it was. But it wasn't like she wasn't content with it either. It was better than getting her feelings hurt and her heartbroken if she fell inlove again. Eva bit down hard on her bottom lip, doing her best not to shrink back from the thought. Things were going so great so far, she couldn't put her walls back up and make herself seem like more of a freak than she already was.
Before she knew it, some loud mouth, tall and lanky man with crazy hair and glasses came barging through the front door with some lady. "Top of the mornin' to yah, lads," he shouted, skipping inside while the girl dragged in his cooler. Eva furrowed her brow, squealing when the tall man picked her up and spun her around. "You must be Eva! Well, you look just like yer sister, I'd say. Cutie," he said with the most fake Irish accent ever. When he finally set Eva down, she held onto the counter for support and shook her head to clear it. "Jesus," she groaned, squeezing her eyes shut. This man was absolutely bonkers. "I am so sorry about him. I'm Adelaide, Jimmy's Fiancee," the girl said, rubbing Eva's shoulder before quickly going after Jimmy who was now running outside to say hello to everyone else. When Eva's head finally stopped spinning, she looked out the sliding glass door to see that there were more people here. "Oh," she murmured, rubbing the back of her neck.
