Make Me Like You

Matt chuckled. "I like seeing you happy," he said. "You've been such a negative little shit ever since we brought you home. But I could get used to this side of you." He smiled playfully at her before looking back at the road. The drive to the jewelry store was about a half hour long since the guys lived so far from the city, but once they got there, things started moving pretty quickly again. He led Aubree inside and looked around, biting his lip. Maybe he could get her something else as well while they were here. Just a gift in general, nothing to do with their engagement. "I'm gonna go look at rings. If you see anything else you'd like to have, let me know." He smiled and leaned down to kiss her cheek before wandering away, off to find her a beautiful engagement ring.

Aubree stuck her tongue out at Matt when he said she's been nothing but a little shit since they'd brought her home. That made her sound like a damn dog. She sighed softly as she rested her head back against the headrest, watching the trees blur by. It didn't feel like it took as long as it did to get to the city and the jewelry store, which was kind of a good thing. She hated car rides that felt so long. Aubree got out of the car, following him into the store. It was so fancy, she was scared to touch anything. "Is this what all jewelry stores look like?" she breathed, squeezing onto his forearm as she stared at some huge rock of a ring. She looked up at him like he had four heads when he said for her to look around and to let him know if there was anything else she might like, shaking her head. She wasn't going to let him buy her anything else. She already felt terrible about the diamond ring. She walked around the store, avoiding the area that he was in at all costs. Aubree walked around the shop twice before finally just stopping and staring at it, waiting for Matt to get done picking out what he wanted.

Matt looked at all the rings, sighing softly. There just wasn't anything calling out to him. Sure, there were tons of beautiful rings in there, but nothing said Aubree to him. She was unique and special, and he wasn't going to give her any old plain ring. But then, something caught his eye. It was different, not like any engagement ring he'd ever seen before. And he instantly wanted it. It would be perfect for Aubree. It might be a bit extravagant for her tastes, but he knew she'd love it. "I want that one," he told the lady, pointing to the ring. He glanced over, seeing Aubree looking longingly at some necklaces, and smiled. Matt paid for the ring with his credit card, watching as the lady boxed it up before he made his way over to Aubree. "Hey. See something you like?" he asked, resting his hand on her back.

Aubree jumped slightly when she felt a hand on her back, turning slightly and seeing Matt. She shook her head, looking back at the necklace. "Nothing I'm allowing you to get me," she said biting down on her bottom lip. As much as she wanted that necklace, she couldn't allow him to get it. Well, maybe she could. He did need to repay her for going after her and biting the fucking hell out of her. "Actually, I really like this moon necklace," she murmured, pointing to it in the case. "Do you think it would look good on me?" She asked, looking up at him with big, doe-like eyes.

Matt looked at the necklace and smiled, nodding his head. "Yeah," he said. Wolves tended to be drawn to anything including the moon, so he really liked the necklace as well. "I think it would look beautiful on you. If you want it, I'll get it for you." He didn't mind, and it wasn't like he was short on money or anything. He could get her anything she wanted. He called one of the ladies over, telling her that he wanted the moon necklace. She took it out of the display case and boxed it up, and Matt thanked her, paying with his credit card once again. He took Aubree's hand and led her back out to the car. He reached into the bag and pulled out the little box with her ring in it, smiling as he opened it to reveal it to her.

Aubree's eyes widened when Matt said he was going to buy her the necklace, twisting her lips to the side and sighing. "I'm only letting you buy it because for one, when I wear it it'll make me think of my wolf," she said with a smirk. "And two, I'll take it as an apology gift for biting the shit out of me the other day." She smiled at the lady, taking the small bag from Matt that held her necklace. Honestly, she was so much more curious about the ring that he had picked out. Aubree walked with him out to the car, getting in. She looked over at him when he began rummaging through his bag, her eyes widening and her hands flying up to her cheeks when he opened the little box that held her ring. "Jesus Christ, Matthew. It's beautiful," she breathed, just staring at it. She couldn't help it as tears began to fill her eyes and she had to quickly reach up to wipe them away. No one had ever gotten her something so gorgeous before. Especially not out of love. But the thing was, it wasn't even real love on his part. He was just under a spell and it made Aubree want to cry even more at the thought.

Matt smiled and took the ring out of its case, sliding it onto her finger. "I'm glad you like it," he said. "But don't call me Matthew. I might have to punish you." He smirked and wiggled his eyebrows teasingly at her, starting the engine and shaking his head. He hated it when people called him that. It reminded him of his father and the last thing he wanted was to think about him. Ever. He put that part of his life to the back and didn't like to talk much about it. He thought about just driving back home, but he wanted to be alone with Aubree more, so he drove to an abandoned house he and Jimmy had found a while ago, knowing they could have some alone time here and wouldn't get caught or be bothered. He parked in front of the house, looking over at her. "Jimmy and I found this place a while ago. It's really creepy inside."

Aubree's cheeks heated up when he said he might have to punish her if she called him Matthew again, actually tempted to do it. She wouldn't mind tumbling around in the sheets with him. Aubree stared down at her finger, a little smile on her face. It was so much more beautiful on her hand. Who would have even thought. She looked up when the car came to a stop, furrowing her brow when she saw some weird looking house. "Are we going to bang in an abandoned house, Sanders?" She teased with a smirk, pulling her necklace out of the bag and opening it up. She wanted to wear that too along with her ring. She took it out of the littl box, holding it up. "Can you?" She asked him softly as she held it out to him, wanting him to put it on for her. She had always been so terrible at putting necklaces on herself.

Matt snorted. “Bang? Is that how you put it?” he questioned, shaking his head. “I actually just wanted to have some more alone time with you before we had to go home to the rest of the crazies.” He took the necklace and turned, placing it around her neck and fastening it. He took her hand, brushing his thumb across the stone in her ring. “You know, this is moonstone. That’s kind of why I was drawn to it. I thought it would be perfect for us, you know?” He smiled as he let go of her hand, cutting the engine and climbing out of the car. He shut the door and walked around, helping her out before locking the car and leading her inside. He opened the front door, coughing when some dust fell down onto his face. He smiled as he looked back at her. “I’m kind of drawn to places like this. I don’t know why, it just feels kind of like home to me.”

"Yes, unless you want to use the term fuck like wild animals, that totally works too," she said, wiggling her brow. She had no idea where that even came from. Aubree grinned as he told her about the moonstone, nodding. "I love it. It's definitely absolutely perfect," she said, leaning over and kissing his cheek. "Thank you so much." She got out of the car when Matt opened the door for her, looking up at the house. She furrowed her brow when he told her that these kind of places felt like home, wondering if he was okay in the head. But st the same time she kind of understood what he meant. "Well, let's go inside. I'm excited to explore, I always love watching abandoned places videos," she said, taking his hand and dragging him up to the door. She glanced over at him before slowly opening it, kind of scared to walk in. "You first," she said, hiding behind him. She didn't know what was in there. Some creeper could be hiding behind the door waiting to pop out and kill her.

Matt raised an eyebrow as he turned to look at her. “What, are you scared?” he teased, grinning down at her. “You know, I could always hold your hand. Or you know, hold your body.” He smirked, reaching behind him to open the door. He turned and walked inside, looking around. “You would think abandoned houses that are empty are creepy, but nope. The ones that still have furniture are the creepiest. You never know what might have happened to the people who lived here before.” He glanced over his shoulder at her, chuckling. “Am I weirding you out yet?” He was just messing with her, teasing her. He knew what had happened to this place. The people who used to live here moved out of state because of the man’s job. The family still owned the house, but nobody had been here to keep up with it since they’d moved. So people found a way in and now anybody could get in and do what they wanted in here.

Aubree scoffed, waving him off. "Me? Scared? No way," she said, holding onto the back of his shirt as he opened the door. The whole creepier with furniture ordeal that he laid out wasn't something she found very amusing. "Just keep moving," she grumbled, gently pushing him forward by his lower back. The more she thought about it, the more she probably would rather be in the front of him instead of behind. Something could just as easily come up behind her too. Jesus, she was fucked either way. "Was someone murdered here? What happened? Are there ghosts? I don't want to die," she said, trying to remain calm. Then she realized that she wasn't sure what happened with her powers when she got scared. She kept following him through the house, which wasn't really all that bad. It would be really nice if it were clean. Aubree followed Matt upstairs, walking down the hallway. All of the sudden something fell in a room behind her, making her scream and jump into Matt's arms. So far nothing was happening, until she looked down st her skin. There were black vines almost vein like things rapidity growing and moving across her skin. "Oh god, what is that."

Matt’s eyes widened as he looked down at her arms. “I don’t know, and I don’t think I want to find out,” he said, looking at her. “Just calm down, Aubree. Nothing bad happened here. The people who used to live here were vampires. The family moved to a different state for business reasons. They still own the house, they just don’t come here anymore. Punks broke in and now it’s just open for everyone to come in. There are no ghosts, nobody was murdered. I mean, unless you consider they were vampires. But regardless, it’s not haunted. Just abandoned. And it was probably just the wind. People come in here and leave windows open all the time.” He led her into the bedroom where a picture had fallen off a nightstand, bending over to pick it up. He wiped the layer of dust off it, looking at the picture. “This was the daughter, I think. Anna?” He handed the picture to Aubree. “I did my research.”

Aubree slapped Matt lightly across his chest, huffing. She ought to hurt him for getting her all worked up like that. She followed him into the bedroom, looking at the picture of the girl in the picture. She was rather pretty. "Why did you do so much research?" She asked softly, walking arkund the room and picking up random objects to examine them. A lot of it was too damaged to really tell what it was. "It is pretty neat in here. Would have been even more neat from the beginning if someone hadn't decided to be an ass and scare," she said, picking up and old teddy bear. It was just a plain bear with a red ribbon around its neck. It looked like an antique bear. Aubree was half tempted to take it back home to clean it up an sew it.

“It gets boring at home when we have no work to do,” Matt said. “I mean, yeah, I could have spent time with Val if I wanted to, but she always nags and bitches and I never wanted to hear it. So I just got on my computer and started doing research. Not just about this place, but other things too.” He shrugged. He watched her pick up the teddy bear, smiling. He walked over and gently took it from her hands, setting it aside before he placed his hands on her hips and leaned down, pressing his forehead against hers. “You know, we’re engaged, you live with me now, and we still haven’t even kissed yet? I think that’s a crime.”

So Val nagged and bitched at him all the time? Good thing Aubree made things end between them then. Her cheeks turned a deep shade of red when he placed his hands on her hips and his forehead against her own, finding it rather hard to breathe as she stared up at him. "Y-you do?" She breathed, her lips just barely brushing over his. She wanted to kiss him so badly, to feel those soft plump lips against her own. She ran her hands up his toned chest, up his neck and clasping her hands together at the nape of it. "I guess we've just never had the time," she murmured, absent mindedly running her finger over the hair that was growing out from when he saved it.

Matt leaned in closer, so their lips were only centimeters apart. He let out a small breath, smirking slightly. "We're all alone now," he mumbled. "We have all the time in the world." He closed the space between them, pressing his lips to hers and kissing hers. Surprisingly, he felt a spark that he wasn't expecting. Because mentally, he'd already felt that spark between them. So when their lips touched, he was surprised to feel it again. He continued to kiss her, though, allowing his arms to slide around her back and pull her body against his. He wondered if she wanted to have sex with him. Even though they'd been joking about it, that didn't necessarily mean she actually wanted it to happen.

Aubree inhaled deeply through her nose as she felt his lips press against her own, a sudden electric spark there that she knew that he has to had felt too. She began kissing him deeper, pressing her hips into his as he pulled her close. She was joking with him before about having sex, but the more she kissed him the more she actually wanted it. Aubree was embarrassed to admit though that she was a virgin and didn't have any experience what so ever in the sex department even though she was 21 years old. It was still pretty young, but a lot of girls her age had already gotten rid of their virginity years ago. Aubree pushed him back onto the bed behind him, laughing as dust fle up all around them.

Matt laughed softly, looking up at her. "Eager, are we?" he teased, running his hands up her sides. He flipped her over onto her back and climbed over her, smirking down at her. He leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her passionately. He let his lips travel down to her neck, and then up to her ear. "If you want me to stop, tell me," he whispered into her ear. The last thing he wanted to do was make her uncomfortable or do something that she didn't want. He kissed back down her neck, sliding his hands up under her shirt, feeling her soft skin. He was surprised at how soft and smooth her skin felt, but he had a feeling that had to do with her being a nymph. Being one with nature and whatnot, he guessed. He moved back up to kiss her lips as he ran his hands over her thighs, stopping at the bottom hem of her shorts.

Aubree was nervous. She wanted this but she was terrified. What if she went through this and regretted it because he wouldn't be wanting this right now if it weren't for the potion? All Aubrey wanted was for him to be nice to her and now he was practically in love with her. Not that she was really complaining because honestly, she enjoyed it. It was nice to have someone have such strong feelings for her. She bit down on her bottom lip hard, tugging at the hem of his shirt. She began to pull it up, revealing his chiseled chest. She let out a small moan, licking over her lips. She was such a sucker for muscles. "I want this. I want you," she murmured, looking up at him.
