Kendra sighed as she finally finished unpacking the last box that was left. Since her and Taven had moved closer to his base things had been pretty crazy. He was constantly in training and she was left to unpack all the boxes. She walked to the living room and sat down, running her fingers through her hair. She looked over at the clock, seeing that Taven was going to be home soon. She knew he was having a hard time since he had gotten back from Afghanistan and she was worried about him adjusting. She knew it was going to be hard for him. Kendra was glad they managed to find a nice house though.

Zach set the last box down in their knew apartment and looked over at Alice. They had just go married and now they got an apartment that wasn't far from the college they were attending. He knew it was going to be hard, but he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and he didn't care. "Alright so what did you want to start unpacking?" He asked. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. He was glad that he had her in his life.

Being back was a little difficult for Taven. He hadn't expected for things to be as complicated as they were. It didn't help that he'd have flashbacks when he saw or heard things that were even remotely similar to anything he saw or heard in Afghanistan. Moving around so often didn't really help, either, and he felt it put more of a stress on things, especially for Kendra. He worried that his personal problems and the constant moving would upset her to the point that she'd give up on him and he didn't want that. As he got home, he parked his truck and headed into the house, immediately searching for Kendra. When he found her, he made his way over and offered a smile. "Hey," he greeted quietly, "Need help unpacking?"

Alice felt incredibly lucky with how things had worked out for herself and Zach. Their parents weren't happy with them getting married so young, but Alice had already done and said everything she could to convince them that they were ready and that they loved each other. Their parents still didn't believe them, but Alice had decided to stop caring about their opinions. Letting them get to her would only make things harder for her and Zach and she didn't want that. Smiling, she leaned into him once his arms were around her. "Maybe our room?" she suggested, feeling giddy with the idea of everything being theirs now. "That way, if we don't finish unpacking everything, at least our room is ready for us to sleep in instead of having to set it up when we're tired."

Kendra smiled at Taven, "Hey baby. No actually i'm all done unpacking so you can just relax." She said as she sat up some. She looked up at him, "How was work?" She asked him. He knew he was still adjusting to the new things around here. Kendra stood up and took his hands before she kissed him softly. She was glad that she was able to be with him all the time now.

Zach smiled at her, "Sure bedroom it is." He said as he walked with her. He walked into the room then started to help her put their bed together. Once they got the bed put together, then looked at her. "You want to put the things on the bed now or later?" He asked. Zach smiled as he started to open up a few of the boxes. He slid her the one with the curtains and stuff in.

"Sorry. I wish I could have come back sooner to help," Taven told her quietly as he drew her close to himself. He didn't like leaving her to do all the hard work. He shrugged to her question. "Same old, same old," he said before he pressed his forehead to hers after their kiss ended. "I missed you, though," he murmured before he pressed another kiss against her lips.

"We can put everything on the bed now, if you want," Alice assured him with a small grin as she pulled out the curtains. She set them up properly before she moved to hang them, though she had to use a stool to do so since she couldn't quite reach the top of the window.

Kendra shook her head, "It's okay baby. It's not like i haven't done this before without you." She said as she kissed him. "So what do you want for dinner? We can order something or i can make you whatever you want." She suggested. She really just wanted him to enjoy being home. She knew he always missed being with her when he was gone.

Zach nodded, "Sounds good to me." He said as he helped her with the bed. He sighed as he laid on the bed, looking at her. "I think this is good. Let's just live in this room." He said, laughing. He smiled, knowing they would have to finish eventually.

"Let's just order something. You've done enough today," Taven told her quietly as he ran his fingers through her hair gently and sighed. "I think we could both use the chance to relax for the rest of the day."

Alice laughed and moved to climb onto the bed, curling up next to him while she rested her head on his chest. "As fun as that sounds, we can't do that when there's so much to do." They could take a break to relax, though.

Kendra nodded, "Okay what do you want for dinner?" She asked as she grabbed her phone. "I kind of want chinese." She said as she looked up at him. She smiled as she waited for him to decide.

Zach nodded, "Yea i know." He said. He kissed her forehead then got up and grabbed the next box. Zach moved out to the living room and began to unpack everything there.

"I'm fine with Chinese," Taven assured her with a small nod as he watched her. "I'm fine with anything, you know that." He offered a smile and shrugged. "Just get me the same as you, I'm sure that will be fine."

Alice smiled at the feeling and watched him leave. She stayed on the bed for a few moments before she stood up and stretched out. Figuring she could start working on the kitchen, she headed there to unpack everything.

Kendra ordered them some food then sat down on the couch turned on the tv. "So anything you want to watch?" She asked as she ran her fingers through her hair. Kendra leaned against him and smiled.

Zach looked at him, "So what do you want me to unpack now?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his neck. He wanted to make sure the house was exactly how she wanted it. He smiled as he leaned against the doorway.

"We can watch a movie?" Taven suggested as he moved to sit next to her. Shifting, he wrapped an arm around her and drew her to his side. Mostly, he just wanted to be near her, so he didn't care what they did.

"Hm," Alice hummed out as she thought about it while she put what dishes they had away. "I think all that should be left to unpack for is the bathroom? Which isn't much, just our essential things."

Kendra nodded, "Of course." She said as she looked through the movies on netflix. She picked on out she knew he liked and relaxed against him. She couldn't wait til their food came. Kendra looked at him and kissed his cheek. "I missed you." She whispered.

Zach sighed, "Do i have to?" He whined dramatically. He smiled as her as he sat down on the floor and leaned against the wall. He watched her, smiling to himself. "I love you." He said, not caring if she heard or not. He loved her more than anything and she was finally his forever.

Taven settled his gaze on her and rubbed her side gently in response. "I missed you, too," he whispered quietly before he pressed a kiss to her lips. Kendra was his rock, the only thing that could manage to keep him stable. Hell, she was the only stable thing in his life. "I couldn't possibly imagine my life without you. You know that?" She meant everything you him, more than he could ever say.

"I thought I was supposed to be the drama queen?" Alice joked lightly, though she had never really been one for drama. It was why she and Zach worked so well; they ignored the drama and just focused on each other's happiness. She smiled, though, and finished putting everything in the kitchen away before she moved to sit on his lap as she kissed his nose. "I love you, too."

Kendra smiled at him, "Yes i know. I couldn't imagine mine without you either." She said as she snuggled him. She kissed him again, "i'm so glad you are finally home." She said. Kendra heard a knock at the door and got up. "Yay! Food." She said, laughing as she got her wallet. She walked to the door and took her food, paying the guy before she came back. "Let's eat." She said.

Zach smiled as he held her close, "I'm glad we finally got our own place." He said as he kissed her forehead. He looked around them then kissed her again. He pulled away and smiled.

Taven smiled slightly as he watched how excited she was about food. It was nice to see and he definitely missed moments like these. He wasn't always around as often as he wished he was. "Okay," he told her with a nod. "Should I get us drinks?" he asked.

Alice grinned at the feeling and relaxed against him, resting her head against his shoulder. "I am, too," she admitted quietly. It meant no more having to deal with the disapproval of each other's parents. "And we start classes tomorrow. Are you ready for that?"

Kendra nodded, "Yes please." She said. She walked to the kitchen with him and started to open the chinese containers. She got them some plates and put their food on the plates.

Zach nodded, "Of course i am. I'm excited for it." He said as he kissed her cheek. "Are you ready for it?" He asked. He knew Alice sometimes got nervous about change.

Taven smiled slightly and nodded as he went ahead to get them each a glass of water. Looking to her, he arched a brow. "Do you want to eat at the table or in the living room so we can keep watching TV?" he asked. He didn't mind either way, as long as she was happy.

Alice pouted slightly when the question got turned around on her and she closed her eyes as she relaxed in his hold. "I don't know," she murmured honestly. "But... At least we have some classes together, so I'm sure I can manage."

Kendra looked at him, "I would like to watch tv and eat if that's okay with you." She said as she took the water from him. "Thank you." She told him. She began to eat, watching the movie with him. She looked over at Taven, glad to have him back at home. It was so great.

Zach nodded, "Yea i think having some classes together will be awesome. At least then i can see you throughout the day." He said. Part of him wish his parents wanted to be apart of his life. But they didn't like Alice so it just wasn't going to work. He would choose Alice over anyone.

Taven smiled and shook his head slightly to her words. "You don't have to thank me," he assured her as he pulled her into his side and gave her a slight squeeze. "You know I'd do anything for you, no matter how small or big, or simple or complex." She was everything to him; she had been for as long as he could remember.

Alice grinned in response and nodded. "It will make things easier, too. I can cheat off you like I did in highschool," she teased lightly, though she let out a quiet laugh and rested her head on his shoulder. She felt incredibly lucky to know that he was hers and she was his. "Just try not to get distracted by me in classes," she added teasingly.

Kendra smiled, "Well i think i should still be thanking you." She said, smiling a little. She went back to eating and watching the movie. She didn't mind staying home because she was just glad to be with Taven. He was the best thing to ever happen to her. Kendra would never let him go.

Zach shook his head, "Oh no you aren't cheating off of me this time." He said, smiling. He ran his fingers through her hair, "You will have to put that cute little nose of your in the books this time." He teased as he kissed her cheek.
