So first of all, I'm not 100% sure that this is the correct forum to be posting in - so do let me know if I should switch over!
I've been working for almost 2 years as a professional nail artist at a well-known salon.* My job is different from that of a nail technician, as I do not apply false nails or shellac in any capacity - at work I use regular nail polish, small brushes and professional tools to hand paint pictures and designs on to nails.
As nail art is a growing area of interest for people, I thought it might be fun to see if anyone had any questions for me! I get asked a lot of things by friends and family, and as it's a very specialised job, people seem to be interested! I'd happily answer questions about my work, give out tips and advice and just get a few more people interested in what I do! It's super fun, rewarding and (with practise) easy!
Ask me anything!
* I'd prefer not to name the salon, just because I don't want to name drop and/or for my boss to google. But we are based in Australia and create custom designs plus our own range of polishes - if you're in to nail polish, you might have heard of us!
