It was like suddenly the world had warped around her the loud horn blaring in her ears turned in to the loud galloping of horse hooves and just like that she was no longer in the middle of busy street in Korea but instead on a dirt road with a white horse barreling towards her. "Watch out!" she cried out in Korean - having taken the necessary steps to learn basic words or phrases. She moved a bit to the side but was still knocked to the ground by the horse - albeit a lot gentler than she would have been if she hadn't of moved. She groaned a little then looked around taking in her surroundings confusion written on her face, "where the hell am I?" she asked softly, had she really hit her head that hard? Or perhaps she was in a coma? Either idea seemed rather frightening.October 23rd, 2016 at 05:36am

Wang So kept his horse at full speed, not caring who got in the way. The villagers called him wolf dog, a way to show that he was wild in almost every way. He was wild, it was how he was raised. Being sent away at a young age, and forced to live with those people, of course he picked up their wolfish tendencies. But he also did it to spite the villagers, they treated him like he were incapable of being calm, so he gave them something to talk about. He let his horse gallop all the way through town, knocking over stands and people, and not looking back once.
Loud shouts and dust covered her, and she opened her eyes seeing a completely different view than she had before she had fallen. She had been walking in a field on the other side of the Han River, when she suddenly fell into a hole that had clearly not been filled in. She woke up in a similar ditch filled with fabrics, and an angry shop keeper staring at her. She quickly stood up, and almost collapsed by the shock of her surroundings. "Where am I?" She mumbled, seeing all of the people around her, and almost tripping back into the same hole she had climbed out of. Baek Ah had grabbed the girl without really thinking - he had seen her emerge from the hole and he knew instantly that if he didn't intervene the workers would surely cause a scene. He didn't like confrontation - he mostly kept to himself which wasn't a good quality - or so he was told. "Where did you come from?" he asked as he looked at her, he wondered if she even spoke his language as she didn't seem to be from here.
Lily slowly brought herself to her feet, she brushed some hair out of her eyes then began to make her way in the direction the man on the horse had went, surely if he had went that way there was a town near by. She sighed, unsure of where she was she removed her jewelry and shoved it into her pockets - everything seemed so pretty and untouched, the air smelled musky almost as if there weren't any cars near by. As she slowly made her way into town she suddenly realized she was out of place, the clothing was different than her own and she chewed on her lip as eyes looked to her as if she were a strange creature. Suddenly she felt fortunate she was wearing loose dress pants and a blouse - and not the dress she'd planned on wearing initially.October 23rd, 2016 at 05:54am -
She stared at him, understanding the Korean immediately. "I don't know... I was by the Han River, but then I ended up here." She said softly, following him and looking around. "Where am I? Is this some sort of festival?" She said, noting the way he was dressed, and the way the people at the village were as well. "What's going on?" She asked him curiously.
Wang So headed to the palace, going into his quarters and letting his horse be sent to the stable. He was tired, but he planned on visiting his mother later if she wasn't to busy to see him.October 23rd, 2016 at 06:00am -
He looked at her and shook his head, "Festival? You're on my land, I have never seen anyone who looks like you before - people do not take kindly to difference or deeper skin colors here," he said as he walked her to the large house which was where he was currently living. "It is not safe," he didn't know why but he felt and immense need to protect her, even if he didn't quite understand where she'd come from - she knew their language which was enough for him to believe she must live somewhere close by.
Lily held her purse close to her as she walked through town she moved to speak to an older woman in korean but the woman ignored her, so she moved on to another - again, ignored. This was strange, people in Korea were generally very kind, but this seemed just plain odd. The clothing was off and there were no paved roads, and she knew for a fact she was in a city area one with subways and bus terminals - this was rural. "What do you mean deepeer skin colors? I..." She trailed off, a wave of confusion coming over her. She had no idea why she was following him, but he seemed to be someone trustworthy. "Your land?" She asked, looking around as they entered a giant walled area, with several houses inside. "Where are we?" Sh asked him, following behind him as he lead her into one of the larger buildings in the area.
She looked up in confusion at being spoken to, but raised her eyes to the strange orange haired girl in front of her. "Yes?" She asked softly, looking at her clothes strangely. "Can I help you, miss?"October 23rd, 2016 at 06:15am -
"Where am I?" she asked her lightly as she looked around unsure of her surroundings, "I was just in a big city and now I'm here, everything looks so strange I don't know where I am," she explained then pushed a hand through her hair, she could hear people talking in the distance about something or other but they were talking about royalty is all she knew.
"Hm, no one has seen someone with your skin tone before," he said to her as he looked around and brought her into the main sitting room - but he was the only one here at the moment so he had time to think, "My name is Baek Ah," he told her, "I will keep you safe," he gave her a small smile. He was never one to care what others thought, being that he mostly kept to himself he generally didn't see the point in discriminating against others for things beyond their control. He was curious though, as were most human beings. "Where did you learn our language? How long have you been here? She set down her basket into a wagon behind her and looked around, noting the stares the elders were giving her.
"Please follow me," She said softly, leading her away from the village and down a walkway through town and bringing her into the royal household where she both lived and worked. "I am Yi Mae Chang," she said as she looked through her trunk of clothes. "You can wear this... I don't think your clothes are very suitable for here..." She said politely as she gestured toward the changing screen. "Where did you come from?" She asked curiously, looking at her orange hair in thought.
"Safe?" She asked him in shock. "Am I in danger?" She said to him, looking around at the furniture and lack of electricity.
"My name is Ali... I live in Korea. I learned the language through a program." She explained before looking down. "My clothes? Whats wrong with them?" She said, she was wearing a jacket and some jeans, she didn't think she was dressed badly; out of place sure, but not inappropriate.October 23rd, 2016 at 06:38am -

He grabbed everything she would need then walked back to the room. "Here, this is a couple years old but you should fit it - it was made for a guest who came,"
"I.. I came from Seoul," she said to her lightly with confusion written on her face, "I was in the city and there was... a car it almost hit me," she said to her and gasped as she thought about it then pulled her cellphone out of her purse. Mi Chang sat down on the stoop while she waited for her to change.
"Car?" She asked slowly. "Do you mean cart?" She asked, going through the workbasket and sighing. There was so much that needed to be done, but luckily she would be able to finish it later.
"If you need help, let me know. I would be happy to help."
"Year 998." She sputtered, shaking her head in shock. "Are you kidding?" She asked him, but the look on his face told her he definitely wasn't. She looked down at the clothes, they were beautiful, but she was shocked. She knew the second she put the clothes on, she might faint from everything happening. "I need... a second..." "No... vehicle, a car," she said, "really big with claws to pick up trash dumpsters," she explained in Korean using hand motions to explain - she knew she wasn't saying it wrong, there was no way she'd practiced for over a year before going and was near fluent. Mi Chang shook her head in confusion. "I'm sorry... I don't know what you mean. You were almost hit by Prince So... but that wasn't a cart, it was a horse. Maybe the shock has stressed you? Do you need to rest?" She said softly. "Change, and I can find somewhere for you to rest."
She shook her head in surprise. "I'm... fine I suppose." She said softly, before turning to change. "I'll be okay." She said, trying to convince herself more than him. It felt like a bad dream, but the realisticness of it was throwing her for a loop. Things were piecing together in her head, no phone signal, there were no plug in's in this house infact it was nicely built but maybe for a long time ago. There was no AC and it was beyond humid. She sighed, "May I have something to change into?" she asked her gently then chewed on her lip, "Is there anywhere I can put this, where someone won't find it?" hiding her belongings to preserve the timeline seemed smart.

Mi Chang looked at her in worry, gesturing to the clothes she has handed her a few minutes before. "Miss... you change and I will go get you some tea. I will be right back with some place for you to sleep." She said before ducking out of the room, and heading to get some hot water.

She nodded and walked to a room after her then sighed a little then began to change into the clothes, she pushed a hand through her hair then used her bobby pins to pin her hair up in an acceptable manner. It was difficult due to her long hair, she sat on the bed then looked around, she saw a loose board in the corner then lifted it and placed her purse will all her belongings into it. "There, that should be good for now,"
